This was taped in Houston by some wonderful visionaries at Second Baptist Church. To us here in the city, many familiar faces light up the screen. You don’t have to know them to wish you were one of them, though! One of these days, we Siestas will all gather out on a big field and dance our feet off over the grace and glory of Jesus Christ. He is risen!
I love you guys so much.

Sondra @ 8:49am ~ I’m a member of Second Baptist Church and to God be the glory for this wonderful thing that only He could do!! The song was written by a young man in our church. I should know hisfirst name but cannot recall at the moment. He is the son of Dr Gary Moore who has blessed us with his musical genius for many years at Second. You can go to http://www.second.org to find out more about the song or call the church and they can tell you. Only God….
From youtube:CREDITS: The song was commissioned by Second Baptist Church for this event. It is called “Rise Up” sung by Lauren James Camey and produced by Joshua Moore. Song is available in iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/rise-up-from-dance-your-shoes/id432384241?i=…
Beth at the end I saw all the shoes and was thinking Raptured? No shoes in God’s house or you fly better without shoes? maybe we don’t need Nike’s in Heaven, then I saw the note about donating all the shoes, that’s awesome too! Thanks for adding more Joy for my Easter!

This was wonderful, people coming together for one common purpose to Glorify God.
I can’t wait to Dance on the Streets of Gold for my Lord one day!
Wow, tears streaming down my cheeks, completely caught by surprise by this amazing display of praise! I can only imagine Jesus leaning over to catch a glimpse of His beautiful bride as He must have been even more overjoyed at seeing this than I am now. What can we do next to make Him smile?!
This video is a little slice of heaven! I LOVED it! The joy of the Lord is so apparent on the faces of these people. What a beautiful testimony to the wonder of the Body of Christ. One Lord, one love!
I watched this video Tuesday morning before coffee, what a wonderful way to start the day!! Thank you!!
Give God the Glory!!

It was an amazing dance to watch, and see all ages celebrating the resurrection of our Lord…loved the part at the end with all the shoes left there…we definitely will not need shoes in heaven , and we will all be dancing in heaven I am sure…
I enjoyed this so much!!! Thanks for sharing it. I’m one of those people who has to plant myself firm on the carpet each week to keep from letting loose in the worship service, so I was thrilled to see all kinds of people enjoy dancing before the Lord. I can’t wait…
That was awesome to see what a BIG movement we can make for God with just all of us small people! With all of together we can do anything God has called us to do!! That is empowering!
This was very touching. What was inspiring is that you had people of all shapes, sizes and ages.
The shoes that were left and the quote afterwards really spoke to me. A very powerful ministry.
I loved this video! A true blessing.
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix out eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
II Corin. 4: 16-18
Since I missed last time, I’m learning a longer passage to try to make up for it! 🙂
I LOVE this!!! It is so awesome! What is the name of the song? I can not wait to rise up and to sing to MY King.
Hey Sherri, if you click on the YouTube link it will lead you to the song information for download. So glad you enjoyed!
So awesome. The joy is so evident and contagious. Makes me want to jump and dance with them, and I am certainly no dancer!
The most Awesome songs and vidio’s God is alive.
Absolutely awesome. So enjoyed this video.
I love the videos of the LPLs and the Ressurection video, what insane fun! I wish I was there dancing with them! It will be an indescribable day, that day when we all gather around His Throne and praise Him. Joy unspeakable and full of Glory!:) Makes my insides happy and my eyes well up!
The ultimate flash mob.
As a former dancer, all I can say is well done and amen.
Loved the seniors participating in this event as well as all ages.

“Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgression; He was crushed for our iniquities; upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all”
Isaiah 53:4-6 ESV
I love it!! It just makes me want to dance (and I don’t dance)!! The looks on their faces are so genuine and joyful!
Watched it once: WOW!
Watched it twice: In awe…
Watched it again: bawling my eyes out!
Why wait till one day……. Can we not all get together some Tuesday night and dance our feet off. How cool would it be to choreograph some hilarious dance to a great worship song. Mary, Mary “Take those shackles off my feet” comes to mind. That would be a blast
Love this!
Love this!! I danced along with my two year old son what a joy to have Jesus in us 🙂
I thought all the shoes at the end was a wink and a nod to the second coming! I guess the shoe donation was a good idea, too. Ha! Ha!
I thought that at first, too, Kristin!!
Thank you Beth for posting this on the website. I heard some friends talking about it at our church (HFBC) but didn’t know what they meant when it was mentioned. I shared it on my Facebook and gave thanks to the LORD for you and all you have done and what your ministry is doing now. I told them to look up your blog. Maybe they will see the plight of the girls in India! My Dad passed into glory on January 16th from his stroke and my 25 year marriage is ending because of physical, mental and verbal abuse because of alcoholism. I waited on the LORD for 10 long years but I can’t go back. God has something for me and I have faith. I will never lose that (deacon’s daughter you know how that goes, you never lose that upbringing)I know he will get me through this all the way to my “through and through” and prove me genuine. Thank you for every single way you touch my life. Especially through Prayer Team on Tuesdays. Sorry I missed James, but grief has overwhelmed me. Please pray for me as I have always done for you. Love all of yall at LPM,Cindi
Absolutely beautiful…I feel like this was a taste of what Heaven will be like someday 🙂

This was awesome. What a testimony coming from the young, middle age, elderly, and every color witnessing for the Lord. WOW!
Hi Beth–Just read your ‘chatty’ break time message!! Though I can’t get on site really often, I do make sure I’m on at least each 1st and 15th to share my memory verse. What a joyous journey this has been since January 1–the opportunity to share and read favored memory verses from the greatest book ever!! BUT, I noticed your reference to James in your message and just had to take a break myself to seek your estimation when James will be completed. I realize this is in His timeline, but wanted you to know that my Bible Study Buddies and I are anxiously awaiting James for study. Sounds like you’re ‘winging your way’ since you mentioned Day 1 of Week 5 of 7!!!
Many prayers and blessings are coming your way as you progress, hand-in-hand with Our Lord and Savior.
Blessings and love, Barb
