Hey, Darling Things! I am on my way to our Little Rock Living Proof Live with much joy, anxiousness, and anticipation and pure-dee desperation for Jesus to show up. He’s all we’ve got to offer. And, gloriously, He’s all we need.
Don’t even think of dropping out of our Scripture Memory Team! If you let the Word dwell in you richly, I promise you that, when this calendar year closes, you will have experienced a completely different 12 months than you would have if you’d let your own opinions, agendas, quandaries, fears, feelings, insecurities, and bondage dwell in you richly. God’s Word WORKS. He sends it forth with accomplishing power. Don’t just memorize the words. BELIEVE THEM. Take them all the way to your heart and apply them to your real, live experience.
My verse this time around is one I’ve loved for a long time, especially as it’s worded in the NIV, but I’ve never committed it to memory. You’re welcome to join me if you don’t have another one planned. Here goes:
Beth, Houston. “Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him!” Isaiah 30:18 NIV

Dear Beth and LPM
I want to thank you for touching my heart! I have just completed your Woman’s Bible Study on Revelations at our churh and I was completely overwhelmed by what I learned and how you so effectively shared our Lords word through John. Beth, being a native Houstonian, I have heard about you and LPM for some time but have never experienced you or your material first hand until this year at our church bible study. At the end of the Revelations series, I found myself missing Gods word through you and was yearning for more. I have a confession to make. My husband gifted me with your book, ‘So Long Insecurity’ last year. My reaction to this gift surprised me. I was confused and offended by it. I certainly didn’t think that I was insecure. But clearly, my husband did. I didn’t read it. I decided to put the book away on a shelf and dismissed it. However, last month, after the bible study was over, I went searching for your book. I had a burning desire to know more. I read your book in two days. I could’t put it down. Come to find out, I am insecure in some areas of my life. Your words were right on and have definitely inspired me to change and stand strong and to help other women through your message. I know this was a devine intervention for me and I thank you so much for the knowledge and confidence that I gained from your words. I have since shared your book with others in my network in hopes that your words will help them in their lives as well. I look forward to James, reading your blog and staying connected and pray that we may someday get to meet in person so I can thank you in person! Blessings- Marcia
The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
Aliza, NZL. If we say we have no sin, we are fooling ourselves and the truth is not in us.
But if we confess our sins, He will forgive our sins, because we can trust God to do what is right. He will cleanse us from all the wrongs we have done.
If we say we have not sinned, we make God a liar, and we do not accept God’s teaching. 1 John 1:8-10 (NCV)
