Hey, Darling Things! I am on my way to our Little Rock Living Proof Live with much joy, anxiousness, and anticipation and pure-dee desperation for Jesus to show up. He’s all we’ve got to offer. And, gloriously, He’s all we need.
Don’t even think of dropping out of our Scripture Memory Team! If you let the Word dwell in you richly, I promise you that, when this calendar year closes, you will have experienced a completely different 12 months than you would have if you’d let your own opinions, agendas, quandaries, fears, feelings, insecurities, and bondage dwell in you richly. God’s Word WORKS. He sends it forth with accomplishing power. Don’t just memorize the words. BELIEVE THEM. Take them all the way to your heart and apply them to your real, live experience.
My verse this time around is one I’ve loved for a long time, especially as it’s worded in the NIV, but I’ve never committed it to memory. You’re welcome to join me if you don’t have another one planned. Here goes:
Beth, Houston. “Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him!” Isaiah 30:18 NIV
I love you guys. Stay with it, Sisters! Jesus is so worthy.

“(She) who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing (her) sheaves with her.”
“Dear children, let us not love with words, but with actions and in truth.” –John 10:9 (NIV)
I am a memory verse drop out. I was gona memorize my fav chapter in the Bible good ole Romans 8. It starts out with no condemnation and ends with no separation and there is a whole world of meat in between. I think that was being alittle too ambitious I should have tried memorizing more of the Psalms maybe. OHHHH! BETH! We just got through the video of Daniel the 11 th chapter, You are soo used of God, Beth, it gives me goose bumps! I just marvel at how God can use us to reach others. We will soon need to start another study and the temptation is to say “Well, I just follow Beth”! Remember the first Christians? It is gona be hard to top this Daniel study. I so agree with sacrificial giving. So many of us just give outta excess and then we want to be blessed. I have had some unique experiences in my life everything from raising kids with special needs and serious diseases and also I struggled for years with bipolar disorder. Since I have spent more time in the Word and Bible study my moods are much more stable and I am on less meds now than ever. I have been frustated at trying to figure out how God intends for me to use these unique experiences. Friends say I need to write a book but the world is littered with great stories. Watching you gives me the courage to ask God to use me how ever He sees fit. It fills me with new zeal and I know it is not a manic thing! It is of God. I am driving 500 miles to see you in Eden Praire Mn next month and I hope I can hug your neck and tell you how great it will be to have an eternity to visit about how God has worked through and for us! Priase the Lord! Hugs from the Heartland, Betty M
