    His knowledge has understood me
    His worship has healed me

I am not an unbeliever, My Lord and my God

Thank you for touching hearts with the message of Jesus and through song. Just watching the video makes us feel we are right there worshipping, praising Him. He is amazing! So, very grateful to know a merciful, loving God.

    Beth,

Last weekend was a pure “treasure”. I left feeling so convicted and was so blessed by your teaching. Travis and the team did an awesome job with the music – all my favorite songs and it was a pleasure to be in the company of so many believers. I have been “pondering” circumstances in my life and looking for the blessings/treasures because I know they are there – point 4 – Most people will miss the treasure entirely. I don’t want to be most people anymore. Thank you for giving me perspective and filling me up on the word of God and thank you so much for coming to New England, we were all blessed by you and your team.

    Your siesta in Christ,
    Debbie

The video recaps are such a blessing. Rich Kelonick you are a master at what you do. Thank you for putting these together. Amanda thank you for posting them. Though I may not be able to attend every Living Proof Live event, the recaps transport me back to the times I have attended in the past. Reliving those memories and how God has blessed is the next best thing to being there.

    Lori, Love2Praise says:

Thanks for a memorable weekend! For the past 6 years a group of us have attended your LPM event in the Northeast. We all agreed that this years message was by far to be most “treasured”. We have all had a year of trials and tribulations, affecting our lives in different ways. God, through you, delivered a very personal message that reached into the depths of our hearts. Knowing what we have all been through I was profoundly aware of how personal our God truly is. It was if he was reaching down from heaven and saying, “this is for you Lori, this is for you Brenda, this is for you Chanita”. What a treasure to behold. We are still “pondering” the treasures of our hearts. Some decisions have to be made and some actions must be taken. Thank you for allowing yourself to be used in such a manner.

Rich, Thanks for taking such a great picture of the Siesta’s after the event. It was truly a treasure to get to meet you and Beth. We appreciate that your talents are used to glorify the Lord. Your videos always make me feel as if I am at each and every event. Praying that you had a wonderful three days off with your family!

    Ann says:

It was my first time attending such an event and I was so blessed to have been in the presence of so many beautiful women singing praises and hearing the Word. Beth, you are an amazing teacher with such a passion for God – it is inspiring to hear the joy with which you speak. And, the music was incredible, simply incredible! Travis has a GIFT!

Beth, you said we who were there were meant to be there. God had a message for us and it was our turn to hear it. You spoke treasures to us and they slammed into my heart HARD! I lost my baby boy 5 years ago when he was only 40 days old and hearing your lesson on how our treasures only become such if we let them past our defenses felt like a sledgehammer shattering the blockade I built surrounding his death. I wondered if I had treasured him enough while he was with us or had I let him slip away because it was too painful a time. I’m in tears even as I write this – I really don’t know what else to say except that I know he’s in heaven waiting for me and by the grace of God and my savior, Jesus Christ, I will one day see him again and hold him in my arms. It’s a treasure I’m holding deep inside and is the anchor pearl in my string of pearls. So thank you for helping me remember there are precious things that can be birthed of devastating situations.

    Blessings,
    Ann

I need tips on getting through speaking the commissioning at the end of Beth’s conferences. Staring into the eyes of a friend or stranger (it makes no difference) and saying blessed words to them and them saying the words to me touches the tenderest and deepest places in my heart and I just can’t make it even half way through without crying–sobbing actually–to the point I can’t speak. I didn’t grow up in a home where my parents’ love was expressed verbally plus there was mental and verbal abuse from a sibling that eroded my self-esteem. It’s always been difficult for me to receive words of encouragement and hope without tears. Any suggestions are welcome.

Thank you to all who make this event happen! It was a huge blessing for my sister and I. I am still pondering my treasures and am expectantly looking for more treasures!
Life is so full of them and I don’t want to miss any. My son is a senior in high school this year and we are about to fill out college applications. I have been anxious about the process, but now I intend to look for and treasure up the special moments this year will bring.
I loved meeting other siestas. It is great to have that immediate connection with someone you meet.

That’s me! At 1:18 on the video is a beautiful woman in a black shirt reaching and looking up to God. She is my beloved best friend, and I am next to her in a green shirt, with her hand partially blocking my face. This photo captures something amazing that God has done in my life. He gives us so much more than we ask. For years my damaged heart didn’t allow me to trust or have a close relationship with anyone, and I was broken and desperate for love. God brought me to a new town and a new church home, and there I found a friend who is such a perfect match for me in so many ways – people often confuse us for one another. We have only known each other for 3 years but it feels like a lifetime. She has loved me so generously and has given me a safe space where I could break free of all I was carrying and grow in the Lord. We study, pray, worship, and share our insights together, and we have both seen some major changes in ourselves. I do not have a biological sister and my heart has ached for one all my life. So here you have it – I asked God for a friend, and He gave me a sister. And the best part is, we both know that this is only the beginning. I am so blessed by this photo that captures us worshipping together. Thank you.

    Colleen says:

I had a fabulous time last weekend at the Lowell event, and couldn’t help but bring the message to mind this week as I was working on my Bible study. We’re on week 4 of Jesus the One and Only, and the lesson was on Jesus recognizing his heavenly family over his earthly one. Your question was, “How do you think Mary felt?”, and all I could think was that she probably pondered it and treasured it as another piece of the puzzle (all the while being a little hurt, too.) I couldn’t wait to share it with the girls in my study.

Thank you so much for your ministry!

    Becky says:

Hey Siestas, Momma Siesta– Do I have I go something to tell.
this has nothing to do with the event that has just been.
This morning I was doing my ‘Believing God’ Bible Study workbook, I did this study about 2yrs ago alone, now I’m doing it with a group and the video. I am at the part of “I am who God Say I am”. I never really got that, who does God say I am?…well, He loves me, he chose me, and that was all I could come up with and all I could comprehend. Now I’m saved and have been for 33yrs. for 2 yrs I’ve been saying off/on God can do what He say He can do, God is who He say He is. I am who God say I am, I can do all things through Christ, and God’s word is alive and active in me.
Well low and behold this morning while I was reading and studying that page, it was like a light switch had been flicked on. Y’all…I got it!
I am who God says I am,and He says I am Loved, Chosen, Adopted, Accepted, Blessed, Forgiven and redeemed.
    ha-ha-ha- I got it!
Praise the Lord, it took me 2yrs, but I got it.
I just wanted to share that with ya’ll

      Hey Becky,
I was excited to read your testimony. It has been a number of years since I did the Believing God study, but I still often put up my shield of faith: God is Who He says He is; God can do what He says He can do; I am who God says I am; (I call that part of the five statement pledge of faith my helmet of salvation so when I need a reminder, I just put on my helmet) I am who God says I am – loved, adopted, blessed, chosen, accepted, redeemed and forgiven; I can do all things through Christ; God’s Word is alive and active in me; I’m believing God!
      Can I get an amen?
      Grace, peace, and much love,

      Polly,

I wish I had the SO Long Insecurities book at a young age. I absolutely loved the book so much that I bought another and gave it to my daughter, age 30 and another to a friend of mine. It is one of the best books I have ever read. It not only helped me see into my own insecurities but also made me look at my fellow “sisters” with more compassion and love. We are all in this together.

How awesome for you to share the “Treasures” weekend with your daughters. I am sure they will never forget spending that time with you.
