Fifteen Months

At fifteen months old, Annabeth…

Loves her baby dolls.

Has hair that can be experimented with.

Is adorable in her summer shorts.

Is trying to get the hang of sippy cups.

Loves this enormous book about animals. Sometimes we hide it from her because she also gets mad at it.

Is ready for the pool!

Finds the trampoline electrifying.

Likes to scribble on the magnadoodle.

Went on a mother-daughter lunch date at a tea room.

Took a walk with Pappaw.

Learned to say “Bibby” only moments before this picture was taken.

Took a wild ride with her brother pushing the stroller…and loved it.

Tried using a spoon (that was too long). She stabbed the cheerios with it and then used her fingers.

Loves being outside. (But it’s only May.)

Is highly entertained by this water table.

Check back this weekend for a Mother’s Day video and greeting from Beth!

PS – Please pray for Siesta Mama as she films five segments for Life Today tonight and tomorrow. Ask Him to give her anointing, strength, endurance, a great connection with the audience, and for Jesus to be magnified through His Word. Thank you so much!

Great pictures! It’s hard to believe she’s already 15 months old. I love the one of her with her adorable, tiny bare feet crossed while reading her enormous book–ya just gotta love those little toes! She’s so photogenic. The hair shot is a winner too–great job, Mom!

Happy Mother’s Day, Beth, Amanda and all you Moms and Grandmas in Siestaville! Enjoy your weekend.

Thank you Amanda. My 20 year old son is a Marine in Afghanistan. I have a picture of him pushing his baby sister in a stroller almost identical to the one you posted. He has the privledge of having done it for his 19 year old sister and his (now) 5 year old sister. God bless you Moore women. Thank you for your ministry.

Oh, Amanda, I’m surely not the first to tell you this, nor will I be the last: your girl looks just like you! I think it’s those eyes. Absolutely gorgeous. And yes, I am a self-confessed teacher’s pet, but it’s still true: she favors you. Just ask around ๐Ÿ™‚ My Anna Beth officially made it home from college last night and a friend of mine said she and her sister both favor me. I’m still beaming. I don’t see it, but I’m beaming nontheless.

Hi Amanda, What a fun post. I too have a 15 month old (Feb 6th) and seem to be enjoying the same stages you and your daughter are. I participated in the Insecurity event at my church in ND a couple weekends ago and really enjoyed it. It was my first Beth Moore experience. I never could have dreamed that that amazing lady and her wonderful daughters would allow all of us out here the opportunity to be part of your circle. Thank you very much for sharing and for being so very real. Happy Mother’s Day to you!

Each May I look very forward to participating in this ministry…

“As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort youโ€ฆ” โ€” Isaiah 66:13 NIV

There’s nothing quite like the love of a mother. And with Mother’s Day just around the corner, many mothers will be celebrating the joys of life, children and family.

But for mothers who are in prison, Mother’s Day is heart-wrenching โ€” a day of bittersweet memories and deep regret.

This Mother’s Day, you can shed some light into the darkness of a lonely mother’s cell โ€” and it’s so easy to do! Will you take a moment to send an inspiring Mother’s Day card to a woman behind bars? (We will print out your card with only your first name on it. The prisoner who receives your card will never know your last name or e-mail address.)

Thanks and may the LORD bless you!

Oh wow, Lisa, at this opportunity! I won’t be able to resist taking you up on it! Though I don’t fully understand the loneliness (and guilt and regret!) of the mothers imprisoned on Mother’s Day, I can imagine the horror of it has to be devastating. I do voluntary work in two women’s prisons, so I get to see and hear them share first hand of things that they miss. Every day is hard… but holidays (especially those that point them out!) are especially so! Thank you for reminding others of this, those that are often neglected and forgotten. We all need each other.. and they are so very much in need us there!

Annabeth is so precious and sweet.
I like her picture with baby doll, brings back alot of memories of dolls I had growing up.
Thank you for sharing and I will keep your Mom in my prayers.
My mother always liked James Robinson and I
have a cassette tape with some of his preaching on it.
He told a story of when he was a little boy about him and another boy went camping out in the back yard. He said, My dad made the moon and James said my dad did too. Then, he said my dad made the stars and James said my dad did too. Well, said James, we must have the same Dad then! I always that story was so cute.
I read “Mothers of the Bible Speak to Mothers of Today” by Kathi Macias__that was part of mother’s day.
Hope you have a blessed Mother’s Day!

Will do. I so enjoy the Wednesdays with Beth. On the Mother’s Day note, my son brought home the following today (spelling and all):
    Dear Mother,
If I could give my mother anything for Mother Day I’d give her… A dresst with flowers and Bath Mor Books.

That would be a dress and Beth Moore books.
    We are from the south:o)
    Yes please and thank you.

Amanda, I love this post. My little Benjamin is two weeks shy of fifteen months. I remember the Living Proof Live event in San Antonio when Siesta Mama introduced you to the audience and said you were about four months along. I will never forget that because I was so blessed to know we were due at the same time. I and another young women on our row were both expecting following miscarriages. When Beth asked all expecting mothers in the audience to raise their hands, we just cried and smiled. I still remember an important message from that night. “I am an heir of God. My life is not left to chance.” I pray it over Benjamin. Thanks for sharing pictures of Annabeth. She’s beautiful.

Thos pictures gave me ideas for my baby girl who is only a week behind Annabeth age wise. I think she would love that magnadoodle. Good idea. I hide Sarah’s baby doll stroller from her due to anger fits as well.

I LOVE when you post pics of your kiddos Amanda!! I’ve been a siesta for a long time, just haven’t been posting till now. I have 2 boys (ages 4 and 3) and a daughter just a few months younger than Annabeth so it’s fun to see what life is like in your home and I can relate to so much of it! ๐Ÿ™‚ A mother-daughter tea is just too cute!!! I went to a simulcast a few years ago where Beth talked to a young girl in the audience who was there with her Mom. I got all choked up and shot up one (of MANY) prayers that one day I’d have a daughter to bring to a Beth Moore simulcast. God answered with a YES and I’m definitely going to do it…just might have to wait a FEW more years ๐Ÿ™‚ Hope you have a WONDERFUL Mother’s Day!!
