Curtis Home!

Praise our gracious God, Curtis Jones is home! Thank you so much for copious prayers! His parents did make it safely to Houston and his wife is one happy and exhausted woman. We so appreciate the privilege to live life with you. I’ll keep this post short because I need to get to the roll call straightaway.

Beth, know that God had you right where He wanted to use you this past week – loving those grandbabies when they needed you, and loving your daughter and son-in-law by being there. What a blessing for them! And saying a prayer of thanksgiving that CJ is home and recovering, a prayer of strength, peace and inspiration for you, that you will be the vessel for God’s Word that you always are. I know you feel our prayers, as we most certainly feel yours.

Great news, this cloudy afternoon! (..perhaps with a chance of meatballs!) So glad Curtis is home and will be able to recup much quicker without all the noise of the hospital–and family right by his side!!

Can I request a prayer for our new little grandbaby–she’s only 7 weeks old with a urinary tract infection! She’s on antibiotics for the next week and after that should be able to detect any damage to her kidneys! I’m so praying that there will be no damage and that she will be completely healed! My heart is hurting not being able to hold her and help her mommy get some rest!! (Our son is on his first business trip since she arrived) Isn’t that the way it always is?!

Can’t wait to hear about the SLI weekend–sure wish I could be there!

Hi Bobbie from one Grandma to the next your baby is in my prayers. I’m not always able to be with my daughters and grandkids when I think they really need me too, and it is so hard! I sometimes wonder if God created praying because he knew we need to DO Something when our love ones are hurting!
Dear Father thank you for allowing us to come to you and bring our concerns, this little tiny urinary system needs your healing touch, in Jesus Name Amen., Erin
