New Design on the Way

I absolutely love it! Thank you so much, Fabulous K!

Our new blog design is on its way! I think it’s safe to say that it’ll be up by morning. Yeah! So if you stop by tonight and every time you click things look a little different, that’s why. Our designer may be in the middle of installing it.

This design will be somewhat temporary since we are switching over to a new blog platform soon and we won’t get to keep this design (since it has been particularly designed for Blogger), but we want to get something fresh and fun on here in the meantime. (No worries. When we make the switch, all the old posts and comments will still be with us.)

Also, Melissa is getting packed and running all her last-minute errands. She leaves for India tomorrow!

Of course, I am praying for Melissa and the team. BUT as the mother of adult children; I am praying for Melissa’s Mom. Nobody warned me that this letting go stuff would be so hard. My mind knows that the Lord does but a better job than I do/did, but my heart still enjoyed that illusion of control that I had when they lived under my roof!

And oh, how I like the blog makeover! Isn’t it interesting how God made us to enjoy change of scenery? Makes me want to change my blog – or get a new eye shadow – or buy a new couch – or paint my kitchen – or….

Thanks for all of the hard work! :o)

Praise God for this appointment that the Lord has poured into your life and your blogger friends! The Lord is with you (2 Chronicles 20:1-29). Your Mama shared this on Life Today, and I carry this with me in my heart as I face the enemy – Those that you meet will see the gorgeous Light within you. As the scripture says in 2 Chronicles 20:21 – just sing – “Give thanks to the Lord for his love endures forever.” when you are unsure of what to do next. His Almighty Word is powerful! You and your friends with Christ are about to do some ground-shaking changes in the lives of many!

    In His beloved care –

The blog looks so fresh for spring! I needed fresh today as it was forecasted sunny and warm and we are getting a whole lot of clouds instead (again!). It has been a looong winter! Moose Mama, I said a prayer for you in the snow as well. Hang in there, Siesta!

    Hi there,

I will be praying for Melissa’s journey/trip to be very safe, plus very fruitful, even if only “good seeds of God’s Word” are given.

Trust me, I had tons of seeds planted in me by others before I came to know Christ Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

The new design looks nice, thus far. However, it is hard for me to read black lettering on white back-grounds. Generally, pastel colors like blues, greens, and purples are best for me. On the other hand, I know that this blog is not made “just for me”, so if it cannot be changed, I will just have to print out some of the posts on pastel colored paper to read them.

    Love, in Christ Jesus,

Jennifer, I’m sorry the black on white is hard for you to read. No matter how we did it, someone would have a hard time with it. I wish it were possible to please everyone.

If anyone has any questions about the blog or matters that need to be addressed, please email us at [email protected]. Thanks, ladies! We are excited to get to blog with you on this fun, new template!

You and the team will be in my prayers. I will be praying for safe travel there and back home, good health for the entire team, a wonderful spirit of ministry that will lead to many coming to know our Lord, and last, but not least, your husband and the rest of your sweet family. God bless you my siesta, wish I could go too.

Truly delighted by the new look of the blog! It is both beautiful and fun at the same time – just like all the Living Proof ladies! I’m a fleur-de-lis fan too. I like the spiritual significance of it for jewelry (as I do with sand dollars and dogwood flowers too).

Totally unrelated, can Bethmoore or Amandajones please post what presents Melissafitz decided to take to her children?

    Thanks, Lynnette

LOVE the new design. As a NOLA transplant for 8 years, I still get sentimental when I see the fleur de lis. Beth, NOLA got to you didn’t it? It always does, an amazing city in it’s own little way!
