Happy Easter, everyone! What a joyous day!
It’s AJ just stopping in to share some pictures with our Blog Peeps.
And by some pictures I mean many more pictures than you’d ever want to see.
On Saturday my cousin Joe, who’s in school to be a fireman, was in town participating in a fundraiser with a local fire department.
Cousin + access to a fire truck + three-year-old boy = no brainer.
We rolled out of bed and headed that way. In fact, Annabeth was still in her pajamas.
I got some fun stuff for my kids from the Target dollar section. Jackson was thrilled that Annabeth “wanted to share” all her goodies.
Those Cadbury mini-eggs were calling my name late last night and – gasp! – I opened them. My excuse is that I’ve been sick and that’s all that sounded good. They were delish.
After attending a wonderful worship service at our church, we went to Mom and Dad’s house for lunch. We were joined by my grandparents, my cousin Joe, and our friends Roger, Lynn, and Michelle. Mom was the hostess with the mostest. We were only missing Melissa and Colin and boy did we miss them!
You never know what will entertain a child. Here Jackson was rolling pieces of Trix cereal down his race car ramp.
It rained and stormed all morning, but then the sun came out and we had a beautiful day. We were excited to have the chance to do the Easter egg hunt outside.
Here’s the Easter Bibby hiding eggs.
All done!
Lynn was helping Jackson go through his Easter eggs when his sugar high kicked in. I now present a photographic series called “Progression of a Mess.” Please hear my child laughing, squealing, and yelling “Surprise!”
To top off an already great day, Curt’s mom just called and said our young nephew, Gavin, prayed to receive Christ last night. Praise the Lord!
I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend celebrating Christ our King. He is risen indeed!
Praise God! He is Risen indeed! These pictures are darling, how wonderful that you were feeling better to enjoy the Easter holiday as an entire family. Love your skirt! Couture Mommy!

Thanks for sharing!
Annabeth in that dress makes me want to sop her up with a biscuit.
Also, glad you are feeling better. There is really no better medicine than Cadbury eggs.
go bibi love mikayla
Thanks for sharing pictures of your day. I’m glad Jackson had such a fun time. I got kinda jealous seein’ those Marshmellow Peeps and Cadbury Minis. Should’a bought myself some but didn’t.
Happy Easter Everyone. God Bless!
What precious pictures! Beth’s hair looks fabulous, must have been some fresh highlights! Thanks for sharing the pictures. He is risen indeed!
We had the perfect Easter for all the right reasons: Jesus, family and friends. Three people committed their lives to Christ today at church. I don’t know about you, but that sort of thing fires me up with an even greater passion to serve Him.
After lunch, my mom had a treasure hunt for the grandkids. They had to look up Bible verses like one that said “Bread of life” and they would go find the bread and there would be another verse. At the end she had a card with $5 for each of them. You should have seen the running and squealing of these kids ages 5,9,14,17 and 20 as they searched. And yes, the 20 year old was as excited as the 5 year old!! They had so much fun!!!!
I love the picture of Jackson looking at the Firetruck like “Oh my goodness! This is real!” So cute. And little Miss Annabeth in her Easter dress is just darling. Glad y’all had a great day!
(Also, did you know that even when the clouds rolled away finally, we were under a tornado watch? I never figured that out! Glad the sun decided to come out. We sat outside it was so gorgeous!)
What a great day to spend family with! We had a wonderful Easter service as well, 7 people prayed to receive Christ! My husband and I are not near family but we had a blast with our close friends here in Missoula. Love the pictures!
Those pictures are wonderful… Beth looks radiant with her grandbabies… I love the pictures with you and Annabeth and the bunny ears… The best are the pictures of Jackson at the end in a state of total joy ๐
Thanks for sharing… Blessings
He is risen! Praise the Lord!
Thank you for sharing your day with us. So sorry Melissa and Colin couldn’t be a part of it. I know what that feels like. That little girl is just beautiful and Jackson so handsome and fun. What great pictures.

Awesome skirt, awesome shoes. Annabeth’s dress is also awesome. ๐
Thanks for sharing your precious family with us!
Absolutely adorable!
Love the one of Beth and Annabeth in the kitchen with the Clorox Clean-up on the counter! Can’t do without that! Makes the house look like it’s lived in!

rosalye

Please tell your mom that her yard is gorgeous with all the flowers, her grandbabies are beyond adorable and her daughter is amazing! But then she all ready knows that.
You are all so blessed. Thank you for sharing your joy with us.
Thank you for sharing the pictures. It looked like you had a great time! You are all gorgeous! How fun for Jackson to get to sit in a real fire truck! Annabeth is a doll! I got to hold my newest great-niece today. She is just under a month old and still in preemie clothes. Glad you’re feeling better!(Must’ve been the cadbury mini eggs, right?)
Keep those pictures coming! We love them and all of you! Sorry Melissa couldn’t be there. Love, Joan
Love the photos! You all look just fabulous! Glad you’re feeling better.
And I have to say that Annabeth’s expression in the picture of you and her with the bunny ears…..well it’s like the Mastercard commercial says – just priceless!
And praises for your nephew, Gavin!
Hugs,
Adrienne
Melissa, thank you so much for taking the time to add extra joy to my day. I came home exhausted from a busy day of Easter activities hoping there would be a picture or two of your sweet family. God has blessed you over and over again. My oldest son who is now 22 looked so much like Jackson at that age. They could have easily been brothers. He was home from college for Easter, and I couldn’t resist an Easter basket for him … college essentials nonetheless.
What wonderful memories for you all! By the way, I kept nibbling on those pastel colored lifesaver jelly beans. Didn’t even know such a thing existed, but they are good and addictive.
God bless you!
We are so blessed to have such glorious family traditions to celebrate on this very wonderful day! He’s ALIVE!
Lots of fun…
Great hair…
To Die For Outfits…
Precious Babies…
And the Easter Bibby…
What more could you ask for? Oh Yeah! SURPRISE! HE! HE! I’m with Jackson.
So that’s what the Easter Bibby looks like!
Loved all the pics! The ears add so much.
He is Risen indeed!
Melana
I can’t pick just one picture I love the most…..maybe the sugar high pix are my favorite!!! Love that boy and his sugar high self!
Happy Easter Amanda and Beth and entire family. What a glorious day it was. I truly thought my heart was going to explode at some point.
Hugs,
Fran
First time commenter… just went through Believing God and The Patriachs…. both have changed me.
Wanted to say hello and happy Easter and you look so gorgeous!!!!!!!!!! Your family is just darling. I feel like I know you (not in a creepy-hit-delete-on-this-comment-sort-of-way…. but I’ve spent 20 weeks in the last few months with you every Tuesday night sort of way!)
Blessings,
Jennifer
He has RISEN INDEED!
Thanks for sharing the wonderfully beautiful smiles. Great family memories captured from this Most Holy weekend.

Love the family photos – everyone is so beautiful! I always wonder how Beth stays so fit? I bet Beth and Keith look as beautiful as they did on their wedding day. Love the Bibby Easter Bunny!
Looks like a lovely Easter Day!! Thanks for sharing with us.
He’s Alive! Alive! Alive Hallelujah! Alive forever amen!
Happy Easter! Loved the pictures! What a fun weekend! Fire trucks, and bunnies and surprises, oh my!

Happy Easter to you Amanda! Thank you for sharing beautiful pictures of your family’s celebration of today! Loved them all!! I don’t even know if I could pick a fav…the one of Easter Bibby is definitely at the top, but the one of you and sweet Annabeth with Bunny ears is too precious!
You all looked beautiful! I got home after saying goodbye to my parents when I realized I didn’t get a picture of us in our Easter finery! I was soo upset! They live in East Tn and had come over to celebrate with me at my church. I was so excited to have them here. It was a real treat! The services were awesome at church this morning!
Thanks again for sharing!
Love,
Nikki
Thank you for sharing the great pics with us! I loved Annabeth’s dress! And your skirt too BTW. Jackson looks like he’s having so much fun. Those are some great pictures of the kids with your Mom and Dad too!
Amanda,
Thanks for sharing your precious family with us. Your entries are always so special and creative. Jackson's delight makes me almost wish my boys (15 & 1 week shy of 17) were young again. The candy sure looked good. I am holding out for my stash until tomorrow when it will go 75% off and hoping that the calories will also be 75% off. One can wish.
It has been a cold rainy day out side here. But I must say the Son was shining here is Topeka today. We had 4 precious children come forward and accept Jesus as their savior and be baptized! Nothing more beautiful than that.
Thanks for sharing your family.
Love you guys,
Jan
Ahhh, little boys, fire trucks, grandparents, and an Empty Tomb! He is definitely on his throne and showing off!
Praise Him,

Love your pictures!*!*! Never too many for us Siestas! I got a picture emailed from my son of my 3-year-old twin grandsons with Easter grass stuffed under their shirts, then playing “belly bump”. Hilarious!! Kids are the BEST.
He is risen indeed! What a fun time Jackson was having! And I love that sweet dress on your precious baby girl.
Much love to the Moore, Jones and Fitzpatrick families!

Happy Easter, dear families that we love!
Now those gardens look gorgeous! The puppies can’t have done much harm. Oh, to see flowers again! It snowed here! But it was so beautiful. As my friend Mer said, snow goes wonderfully with Easter, “sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow!”
Love y’all, dearly.
Loved the pics! Thanks so much for sharing them with us. You guys look great, as usual. Loved the Easter Bibby. ๐
He is risen! Praise His holy name!
Love and blessings!
Tanya
Great shots!
First of all I can’t believe the flowers and sleeveless attire in the yard….we are far from spring yet in SD!! Second, I recognized a plate in the background from Esther – a chiastic structure!! (And in my Sunday school class today I even noticed some reversal of destiny that we read about in Psalms!!)
Loved the pictures, Amanda! Thank you so much for sharing your lives with us! ๐ OK, Beth, I have to know how you life your roots like that. I have heard you say “root lifter” before…can you help a girl out here. I need some root lifting help! ๐
So much love to you all!
Glory to God!!!
Cheryl
Thanks for sharing all the beautiful pictures! Your family – all of them – is gorgeous. Glad your Easter was a joyful celebration!
Adorable pics! And how cool is that that Jackson got to get on the big fire truck? I know he had to be sooo excited! Love the expressions on his face when he got so excited with his Easter basket. Too cute! And what a lovely family photo of you and your fam! Oh, and Bibby plays the Easter Bunny part perfectly!! Nice ears Beth! ๐ I’ve got a picture with my two nieces and we have on the bunny ears, too. ๐
Thanks for sharing part of your day with us! Love it and appreciate it, as always! ๐
Love,

The Easter Bibby — love it! ๐
What more can I say after all these wonderful comments by the siestas.
Christ has Risen
The Easter Bibby has come and gone.
Kids are high on sugar
Parents are worn out
Grandparents are exhausted and..We have these awesome pictures to treasure the memories.
What a fabulous way to spend an Easter Sunday.

The photos of sugar laden Jackson are delightful.
Baby girl looks like she was there just to look pretty and model and she did a great job doing that!
HE IS RISEN!! Thank God for the hope He gives us of eternal life with Him!
Just precious pictures!
Been a glorious Easter yet hard day and your pictures made me smile!
Do you know that Peeps blow up in the microwave? A 10-year-old showed me this Easter eve.
He is risen indeed!
He is Risen! What a glorious Easter celebration you had. Thanks for the pictures. Sugar highs in small children make me smile when they are in someone else’s home! (hehe) Happy Easter!
