Flying To New Orleans!

Hey, You Darlin’ Thangs!

This has to be super short because I’m sitting at the gate for my New Orleans flight and they’re just about to call for boarding. I dig airports. Great people watching. I’ve been sipping on my Starbucks and taking it all in. I just love watching people walk through the terminals with their neck pillows still on. It brings me a ton of joy. I hope some of them come to the New Orleans LPL…and wear their pillows. You never know when you’ll need a quick snooze.

I just wanted to let you know that 50 – count them, FIFTY – women will attend the Living Proof Live this weekend because of your scholarship fund. Give the Lord some praise!! Pray for God’s Spirit to fall on us like a holy flood. The glorious and welcomed kind of flood.

I’m so honored to take this journey with you. To love Jesus with you. He is everything. I hope you have a wonderfully blessed weekend with one Jesus sighting after another.

Talk to you soon! I love you.

PS. Our precious Annabeth is 2 months old today! We are deliriously happy!

Happy 2 mo. birthday Ms Annabeth! And Bibby, have a blessed weekend in New Orleans. I have no doubt that you will touch many lives in the next 24+ hours. Safe travel and know that you’re in our prayers.

Airports ARE fun–aren’t they! I love watching people too, wondering where they’re from, where they’re going. It’s my theory that EVERYONE has a story and I love to hear them. BTW, I love, love, love the “Same Kind of Different As Me”–what a story! Thanks to all of you that recommended it. I’ll read it again, that’s for sure and will give it as a gift to several people in my life.

    Happy Weekend, Y’all,
    Bobbie

Oh my, it doesn’t seem it could possibly be 2 months since Annabeth was born! This weekend is my son’s first prom. It is such a blast.
Beth, I can’t tell you how much the scripture memory has meant to me this year. I haven’t memorized scripture like this since I was in VBS. Now I go on walks and use them to pray. I can’t wait for the celebration in January.
Thanks for leading us heavenward. Love ya’

Happy trip! I wish I was off to somewhere warm–but we are under a winter storm watch here in Montana! I love to people watch in airports too, and play the famous people game, looking for people that kind of look like someone famous.

I am just texting a friend about A Woman’s Heart with the new videos. She cheated and just watched the first one–said it made her cry. Really- I think you may have stock in Kleenex–the amount of crying you induce รƒล“. We are starting this study next week–can’t wait. It was the first study I ever did of yours. My faith walk has grown a lot since then, I am excited to see how God speaks to me this time during the study.

Have a wondeful time in N’arlins!
    Hugs,
    Becky

IT is my 30th birthday on Saturday.

I am excited and stunned and really praying some major dreams are on there way soon. Like family, children, an house with a yard and a dog and friends, good friends.

You are a friend to me. Love you Siesta Mama; Bless you and all your crew – pink bows and trucks included.

Hi Beth, I also dig airports! When I was in college I used to visit the Atlanta airport often just to have lunch, people watch, and read. Silly I know, but there was something almost peaceful and fascinating about sitting at an airline terminal observing the hustle and bustle of planes landing and taking off to various destinations. Of course this was all before the current security precautions when you could visit the terminals without being a passenger. Simple joys. Enjoy your time at the airport and in New Orleans…you can meet interesting people at both places. ๐Ÿ™‚ Have a safe trip and God be with you this weekend!

Yay! Annabeth is 2 months today! She is such a darling little one!

I’m so bummed. I live just 30ish miles north of New Orleans and would love nothing better than to be there this weekend. I’m just 5 weeks from finishing up nursing school and with a big test looming on Monday I know the prudent thing to do would be stay home and study. I sure would love to be there though. Lots of ladies from our church are going.

I’ll be praying for you all tonight and tomorrow. Live it up for God!!

    Beth,

I do pray that you will have a glorious time down in “Naw’lins” this weekend. I have SO much enjoyed seeing you teach on the Esther DVD’s. This is my first time to ever see/hear you teach and it has been such a blessing to me! You have inspired me to dig deeper into the Word!

Today our only grandson is 4 months old. Maybe him and Annabeth will meet someday! ha

    God go with you Sister!

    Andrea says:

How often do I get to leave the first comment on your blog?! I just have to say thank you Beth for the incredible lessons you’ve imparted to me. A group here in San Diego just finished Esther yesterday and we think we have to repeat it to even scratch the surface of absorbing let alone applying all that it contained. Truly profound the way you weave it together and how the Spirit moves to use it. I especially appreciate the examples you’ve used lately of disability within the body–whether Lee Sizemore stories or the autism testimony yesterday. You rock! Lord, bless you in New Orleans and have a good flight:)

“You never know when you need a quick snooze”…LOL! At an LPL event, who would want to snooze?:) The thought just cracked me up, especially as I thought about what it might be like if some of my students came to class with neck pillows on. (I teach college.) After what you said, you’d better believe I’d tell them to take that thing off! They don’t need any more temptation than they already have to snooze!:) Love ya!

    Beth,

You crack me up with the “I dig aiports” line. Thanks for the much needed laugh! I will say a prayer for everything LPM Live this weekend.

Also, please send a picture (or more) of sweet Annabeth for her B’Day. Babies change so fast! My little niece, Bella (that is her name, not Isabella), is now with blonde piggy-tails and talking to me on the phone. She can say my name so well. My name is not easy for adults to pronounce correctly. She’ll be 2 next month. I may have to steal my hubby’s free tickets (from air miles-he digs airports and Starbucks too) and go to her party. I don’t know if I can justify considering I plan to spend a month there this summer.

I know this weekend will be a huge blessing for all of you. I am so thankful for the 50 too!
