Hey, Siestas! It’s nearly 10:00 PM Eastern time and I just got back to my hotel room. The group was wonderful. Thank you for praying! I wish so much I’d had more time to get to know them. I’m the slightest downcast because I threw too much into one night. I was really excited about the lesson but, as it turns out, it was better before I gave it. I hate when that happens. BUT, I love Jesus and I loved that gathering of people tonight in Burlington, Vermont, and I know He was there. I think I remedied the fact that we’d only be there for one session by doing three sessions of material in an hour and a half. Perhaps it was the time line I did from Genesis to Revelation that put us over the edge. Blast.
Still, God is faithful and His Word was spoken and He won’t let it return void. Keep praying for me! I need to adjust IMMEDIATELY to material that is suitable for one session and one setting. And pray for the precious people we will serve this week. We are so happy to be here!
I want to stop and pray for you right now, too.
My faithful Father, Maker of Heaven and Earth, Ruler of Land and Sea, I lift Your elect to You. I pray this week for You to grant them clarity in a very specific area where they are confused and not sure what to do next. As You said through Your prophet Ezekiel, You have put Your Spirit in them and You will MOVE them to follow Your will. Remind them that they are not stuck. Not without choices. Not without leadership. Whisper in each ear, “this is the way, walk ye in it.” Cause them – and me – to cease beating on doors that are closed and walk through the one that You Yourself left open even if it’s not our personal favorite Door #1. Bring confessions to their lips – and mine – of Your gracious providence and Your worthiness to be trusted and praised. Tend to their hearts. Where they feel battered and bruised but too busy to stop long enough to be healed, hem them in Your faithful hands, hold them still, and rejoice over them with singing. Tell them again how You love them. How You’ve called them. How You don’t make mistakes. Grant them – and me – spirits of wisdom and revelation that we may know You better and recognize You when we bump smack into Your Presence. And more than anything else, circumcise our hearts to love You and to love that frustrating person in our lives as we love ourselves. Teach us what the Apostle Paul meant when he told the Galatians that all that matters is faith expressing itself in love. We want to be Godly women, Lord. We cry out to You for help. We cry out to You for You.
In the saving, delivering, empowering Name of Jesus,
Amen
I’ll talk to you tomorrow, Siestas!

Did my husband call in that prayer to you? God could not have spoken more clearly to me through you. Not what I wanted to hear but what i needed.
I pray Father, Your mighty hand over Beth as she prepares for the upcoming days. I pray Your word becomes so overwhelmingly explosive, that women are having a desire and passion in their hearts to search the Holy Scriptures for themselves. I pray Your anointing over the time so that Beth is able to speak a clear, concise word over these lives that have come prepared, hungry and searching for You-the Giver of Life, Lord! In Christ’s Power and Love, Amen!
Thank you Mrs. Beth, that was so sweet and powerful. What a way to go to bed tonight.
I hope the New England Nights has been a huge success. Praying for that.
Miss hearing from you,
Wendy
I just felt like we had our very own John 17 prayer. Thank you Beth I know we all needed that and I also pray that God bring you a “DELIGHT” from your teaching. We are our own worst critics. So rest in the fact that he has prepared them for the words you brought!
We love you momma Beth
Thank you for that special prayer. i needed every word!
Thank you, Beth, for your prayer. I so needed that tonight! I need wisdom and CLARITY on an area in my life where I am so confused. It was appropriate for me tonight!
I am doing STEPPING UP right now. I ordered it a while ago, but the timing was not right. I went on to another study, and can see where it is appropriate for this season in my life.
Praising God for you and yours tonight!
Oh, tears. Thank you for this prayer–how timely for me. We will pray for you, too.
Need to go read Ezekiel :)–
Amy
Thank you so much for your prayer sweet Beth. It couldn’t be more timely for me.
Praying for your session teaching adjustments and for God to move in the lives of the women you are touching.
Bless you.

I DO want to be a Godly woman. Thank-you for your prayer for me. I pray the same for you, sweet Beth.
His Word does NOT return void!!!
Melana in Wyoming
Just on the off chance you’d have that moment, I checked. You did and your prayer met a precious need in my heart! Encouragement and repremand…both are good, as the discipline of our Father is supernatural!!Oh Beth I can just hear your hands coming together in thanks to the Lord a bit slower than usual as you praise Him for those words you didn’t like. But praise Him you did..What a delight! I can’t wait to hear all the treasures the Lord will bring through this trip. Blessings, Tiffany For His Glory
And once again, you speak to me alone (at least that is the way it seems) and say just what I need to hear when I need to hear it. I will be on my knees fo ryou this week. Beth – as if you could give less than “a word!!!” – our prayerswill blanket your way.
I love you so!
Becky Jo

Thank you for praying for us here.

Now go out there and have fun
today.
Praising God with you, for your first night on the East Coast. Thank you for your rich prayer for us, your sisters . It is especially meaningful for those of us in California; winds, fires, political/spiritual warfare. We are in the midst of a 40 day fast to have God move in our state. Praise His Name..blessing on you, Beth…Love, Pam in San Diego
Hey Beth, God is awesome and He always uses you in a mighty way. Even your prayer tonight spoke to me. You are in my prayers!
Thank you…. I needed to have that prayer said for me tonight. Bless you sweet Beth!
Beth,
Thank you so much for your precious prayer. It is so timely for me right now. Our family has been dealing with a lot lately regarding our 13 year old daughter, and since my husband is out of the country, I am experiencing some anxiety of what the week might bring for us. The last time he was on a trip we had a lot of trouble with her. I will claim the truths of your prayer all week.
With much love and gratefulness,
Nancy
Hmm… I’m not sure I know what to say other than I know that prayer was meant for me. I want to say thank you for always having the right thing to say at the exact right time.
May God bless your words this week.
Hugs,
Melinda
thanks, beth, for keeping your praying siestas updated!! i will continue to pray as the Lord reveals Himself mightily through you in New England this week!
thank you for praying for us, too…it spoke right to this woman who desires godliness!!
wow beth.. that was a prophetic prayer just for me. Thanks so much and I am praying for you as you minister in this new way.
last night I was blown away by the Lord as I had an unexpected late night kitchen table with green tea worship time with HIM. If any of you siestas need an encouraging word from the Lord, please check out my blog at reachsouthasia.blogspot.com and read what God gave me as I was having this unexpected worship time.
love your siesta in nepal
Thank you for that sweet prayer. I just shared it with my email group of praying moms.
I even threw a “y’all” in my email for good measure.
Blessings to you!
Beth, I bet your lesson tonight ministered in ways you’ll never know about. There have been times I feel like I messed something up and then find out later that it was a real blessing to someone. I’m so glad God uses us in our weaknesses!
That prayer touched me so deeply. Thank you! It was like a healing balm on a bruised soul.
Leslie
Oh Beth…dear, sweet Beth…how I needed your prayer tonight. Let it be Lord, let it be.
I feel certain that God spoke the word through you tonight and that it touched the very souls of the people who needed a fresh awakening of their spirit…whether it was too much or too long, God had His hand on it and delivered.
It stirs me just knowing your heart on the matter, and that you then turn and pray for all of us siestas who so deeply admire and respect your calling in the Kingdom.
Your prayer furthermore touched some places in my own soul tonight. Only God could have known that I needed to click on your blog this evening as my two babies sleep and the rain pours down outside….
Thank you for the prayer. Know that I am also praying for you this week.
Love, Amy in Texas
I am so excited for them to hear you speak! Wish I could be there. I’m sure the ones tonight would be shocked to hear you say it was better before you gave it. You said what you said for a reason… The past 2 days I’ve listened to 2 of your conferences. It has been such a blessing to me! One I had never heard before and the other I had. They both inspired me so very much!! I’m trying to save another new one for later because that’s all I have for now, but I can hardly wait!! I’ll be praying for you this week for sure.
I’m praying for you tonight right now. Remember, Beth. When you’re not sure that they’re receiving it, it doesn’t mean they aren’t. That’s the Holy Spirit’s job. Rest sweetly tonight and be blessed with His peace in your mind, in your heart. And thanks for the powerful prayer. Love, Annette
I was deeply touched by your prayer as the last few weeks we have been studying about Ezekiel and how I have been learning about the importance of a circumsised heart as well. About trusting God to step out and that His grace is MORE than suffecient and He is more than able to equip us to do what He has called us to do. I have been wrestling with doors and wondering which way to go. Thank you Lord that you are so completely faithful to show us the way in which to walk. Thank you Beth for your prayers.
May The Lord continue to bless you and keep you steadfast in all that He has purposed you to do.
May the Lord gird up your loins and strengthen you and encourage you; that you may know His will in what to do.
May He impart His divine revelation and Wisdom to you as you continue to teach His people His word. May He emcompass you with His Love and protection. May His word that will be planted in the hearts of His people bring for fruit for His kingdom and glory.
Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;”
Go get em!
Thank you so much for that prayer. I felt it. I’m so encouraged now! ๐
That beautiful prayer feels like it was spoken just for me. It spoke peace into a place in my soul that really needed it. Thanks so much. I’ll continue to pray for you and those you will be speaking to.
We were in Burlington tonight and your words were powerful. We especially loved the timeline because we are doing a study on Salvation History. Don’t change a thing! We will be in New Hampshire tomorrow night and can’t wait to hear more of His Word through you.
Marcia and Ellen
Been there and done that! God’s Word is so awesome and intricately packed with priceless jewels that most everyone seems to be clueless about, that packing everything that needs to be shared in one lesson just can’t be done sometimes in the completely thorough way we want. I’ll be praying that the Lord shows you how to downsize without feeling like you are short changing your learners. It is most likely probable that your Christian sisters were ecstatic with the message that God shared through you. I have ended a Sunday School lesson with my High School girls more than once in the same frame of mind to be approached by one of them with their testimony as to how the lesson helped them. It never ceases to amaze me how incredible our Great God is. I am currently doing Bible studies that you wrote several years ago, and it is as if our gracious Lord prompted you to help me personally, you have thought carefully how to do that, and you have just put your pen down with the finished product ready to be placed in my hands. If our Almighty Father can do that, He can use in a meaningful way anything he impressed upon you to share even though you may not be fully convinced that He did so.I suppose that I am preaching to the choir, but sometimes it helps for someone to remind us of the truths we steadily teach to others. You have helped me so much. I’m just sorry that I was not in the audience so that I could thank you first hand for the effort, prayer, and intense commitment that fueled what I am 100% sure was a tremendously helpful Bible study to those who were so fortunate as to experience it.
With heartfelt Christian love,
Valerie Eades
Dear Beth,
I needed that prayer so much! It reinforced what I felt in my quiet time this morning….I am still loved even though nothing is going the way I believed it would by now. Thank you for listening to the Spirit’s moving in your heart and for sharing your journey with us.
That prayer was wonderful AMEN to that! God has and did show himself in a mighty mighty way tonight. You had the very intercession of the SON on your side tonight. He was whispering ever so gently in Our Father’s ear….listen to her DAD, there she goes just braggin on you again…I know we are blessed and He is proud!
Have a wonderful time enjoy the leaves and the breeze!
Chel (FW, TX)
Wow, Beth, thank you for praying for me. I am humbled.
And I will be praying for you for the next three sessions. Sleep well, my friend.
I am praying for you! I love you and pray that you will keep on keeping on the good fight for Christ as I know you are! Please don’t be to hard on yourself, God will be faithful to provide a harvest! God bless you! And enjoy the beauty you are beholding!
Love ya,
Lori in SW MO
Thank you, Beth, for praying for me. May God pour His wisdom into you and may you deliver His message just the way He would say it Himself. In Jesus’ name.
Agh, Beth, I am sure the Holy Spirit of God used you greatly!! I am so excited to hear and see you on Friday here in CT… wish we CT siestas could meet!!!
Mrs. Beth, praying a prayer of peace over you. Clap your hands and give up a shout of praise, for His WORD is powerful. And I will guarantee that they received a word tonight.
And thank you for your kind humility that prayed that prayer over us tonight. I know you not only look a lot like Beth Moore, but you look a lot like Jesus right now.
Blessings this week.
Donna
Siesta Beth,
You are being lifted up to God’s throne! Your prayer is such a blessing.. it covered so many areas that I struggle with!
Many Blessings to you
Delilah
Thank You, sweet Sister for washing me in that prayer. What an appropriate and wonderful way to end this day! God has given me GodStops–all throughout the day: a very blue, bluebird, two deer, beautiful yellow Aspens,a bird finding an insect on a tree just 2 feet away, and now this prayer.
Thank You, Beth! Thank You.
I do have a very frustrating person that I need God to love through me. It’s my own mother. And she is so covered in prickly-ness and mean-spirited-ness, it is so hard to love her. Thanksgiving is coming and we will spend 3 nights under her roof. And my one prayer has been–God, help me to love her. You know.
I love you, dearly, and am praying for you this week–to love Jesus more and more. Soak Him up, Friend.
Holly
Beth,
I love you dearly. I am confident not one word you spoke to those women tonight fell to the ground! Not a single word was unneeded nor will it return void! You know that devil is up to no good, speaking his native language of deception, trying to discourage you.
Thank you for your prayer for us…for me.
God phoned that in just for me…!! I’ve gone through such a trial at my church the past 2 years and we think we are ready to leave and find another church home. But only if He leads us out the door.
I’ll be praying for the rest of your time in New England. He will have His glorious way with all of you!
Cheryl (iamHis-I can’t remember my password to log in!)
Thank you for the prayer you prayed for us. I think it was really just meant for me tonight. . . (crying)
Praying for you, Beth. Weeping as I read your prayer and how it speaks to the heart of many things going on in my life – from one ministry door closing to another being open wide… to the timing issue with lessons and the heart cry for wisdom to the frustrating relationship… Yikes it is all there.
Thank you for being faithful and praying as He directs – we love you!
I just so happend to finish journalling about a verse that ROCKED MY WORLD tonight and I thought it was quite fitting:
“I permitted Myself to be sought by those who did not ask for Me; I permitted Myself to be found by those who did not seek Me. I said, `Here am I, here am I,’ To a nation which did not call on My name.(Isaiah 65:1)
If He can permit Himself (Who else would He ask?) to be found by those who did not seek, He can surely get a word to those who do.
Show Yourself strong, Lord!
I would have to echo what everyone has said. I am sure that God was faithful to His promise to work His will out tonight through His word. And there is already feedback that they loved the timeline!!! And your prayer was so powerful and God has used it to touch so many! I know I needed it. I just watch stepping up, the first session for the fourth time (once with a friend, once with my girls and once with each group doing it – and each time I take more notes) and if I may be so bold to say this…and a very amazing, chosen-of-God teacher talked about this very thing. :~) I will pray that God will give you direction, peace and sleep.
love you
mk
Thank You Lord that You, tonight, were there
Help Beth to rest without worry or care
Help her to adjust to one session and setting, her request is immediate, for now
Your Spirit is able, so Lord we ask in tangible ways, show Beth the “how”
Amen.
Thank you kindly for the prayer over me – I’m blessed.
Amen. Thank you for taking time to love us and pray for us.
Praying for you as well.
