It’s a GIRL!!!! A G-I-R-L!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are beside ourselves. Out of control. Come mid-February we will have a brand new little Siesta. The crowd at the mall better part like the Red Sea. Let me to some pink.
Thank You, Father. We’d have loved another boy like crazy but You had a woman-child on Your mind. You have flipped two families. Thank You.

Ok, I did this once but don’t think it went through. Congratulations, Grandma Beth and Mama Amanda!!!!!!!!! What a great blessing from the Lord. Isn’t He amazing?
Pray for the Louisville area. We were hit with a major wind storm as a result of Ike. Hundreds of thousands without power, lots and lots of damage to trees and homes. All power won’t be back on until at least two weeks. As you can guess I have power but I live in the next county which wasn’t hit quite as badly.
Congrats again and praise the Lord.

May I pray for you…Blessed Father, may your grace and lovingkindness be showered upon this family as they expect this wonder from You. May you bless this child with wisdom, health and an intense love for you.

It is so wonderful first to see a blog entry from you Beth — I’ve been praying for everyone in the coastal area — especially my Siesta family!!! The Lord has really blessed us with a Girl — I am a grandmother to 2 boys and 2 girls and those grandsons are very special but just wait till you get that grandaughter — there is such a blessing for us mothers to pass on our loving female, mothering, shopping and womenly Christian attributes to our grandaughters — we are all blessed by this news and will continue to pray for Amanda and her family; you and Keith and for a wonderful new life and yes we praise you Father for a baby girl!!!
GG2002 – and yes GG stands for Greatest Grandma — and 2002 is the year of the birth of my first grandchild — My Jackson and three more after that — Praise God!!!
Oh, how exciting. I have 2 granddaughters myself as well as 2 grandsons and they are all GLORIOUS!! I have another on the way and have about 5 weeks to find out if we are having another boy or girl. Have fun shopping for pink.
In Him – Beth H.
I'm beyond excited at the news!!! A few days after finding out Amanda was expecting another blessing I was praying for her and I had a mental picture of Jackson being a protective big brother to an adorable little princess, so I've been hoping for a little girl. Let the celebrations begin in Siestaville!
Much love to the Jones & Moore families,
Linda
seriously! this is the most exciting news! i can not wait for amanda to experience life with a bossy, drama-filled girl in the house and you to gm one! how fun. i already told amanda that i will set aside a section of clothes to pass down to baby girl jones!!! congrats!
I can see her in my mind’s eye now. What a picture of joy! Thank You, Father! You have the whole place a jumpin’ little one!!
PRAISE THE LORD!
Father I pray that even in the womb this blessed baby girl will be learning Bible as her sweet Grandmother talks with her. May her wonderful mother continue to have good health throughout the pregnancy and may this baby be absolutely perfect…we know she will soon be spoiled.
Amen!

awwwww…congratulations. My sweet girl turns 9 years old today! There is nothing like having the loving touch of a sweet little girl in the home! (kinda counter-acts the testosterone of her brother… ๐
Pink frills and pearls! What fun!
Whoohoo!
How fun!!! I have a boy and a girl also and I LOVE the boy stuff, but I also LOVE having a little princess! She’s only 1 and half, but she loves to put anything around her neck she can pretend is a necklace and play with my make up brushes and then the next minute she’s playin i the dirt with her brother. It’s so fun!
Praise God for this sweet baby girl coming to your family!

Wow! That is wonderful! congrats on the baby girl!
Oh how I love baby girls! The pink, the ribbons, the little dresses and tights. I may be a bit partial and it’s all God’s fault since he gave me 2 little girls of my own and not a bit of blue in sight!
Hi, Beth,
My son and daughter-in-law had a little girl named Hailey about the same time your Jackson came along, and now they are having another child, a lil’ bit named Jack..due the first part of January…I am so excited to be going through these two pregnancies with you and your family. Sharon Gowen
