Hey Siestas! I haven’t had a chance to just shoot the breeze with you lately. It’s Friday night and Keith won’t be home for a while. I’ve got the Olympics on and my feet propped up and I thought I’d touch base with some of my favorite girls on earth. Here are a few random things going on in the life of your very own Siesta Mama.
1. Keith and I are totally in love with our puppies! If what we were looking for was some high life in the Moore home, we certainly got it. Most of the time our house looks like we run a daycare center. Between Jackson and 2 puppies, we have toys from pillar to post. Star and Geli are crazy about each other and most of the time insist on playing with exactly the same toy, one biting one end and the other biting the other end. They even like to share the same chew. I’ve never seen anything like it. Geli stays with Keith during the week days and Star goes with me to work so we have a very enthusiastic reunion every workday evening. We still miss our old girls so much. I bawled about Beanie again just a few days ago. But we are so thankful to have these new babies to spoil. Geli is honestly one of the cutest puppies you’ve ever seen in your life. I’m talking ADORABLE. Star, on the other hand, is the smartest. (And, yes, she’s mighty cute, too, but Geli honestly is gorgeous. German Shorthairs are beautiful specimens.) You can’t believe what my little smarty pants has accomplished in three and a half months however. She can sit, fetch, jump, walk on a leash, bring me the leash, and come give me kisses when I ask her to. She constantly tries to anticipate what I’m about to do. Every morning when I grab the keys, she heads to the car and hops right up in her seat. Loves to even sit in Jackson’s carseat in my SUV so that she has a good view. Danged amazing. I’m nuts about her. She is the mascot of Living Proof Ministries. My whole staff loves her. She knows exactly who offices where. When she’s full grown, I’m going to get her one of those capes like the mascot at Texas A & M wears only ours is going to have “LPM” on it. Yep. She’ll be darling. As it is, she wears a different color bandanna every day. I have lots of nicknames for her: Starry Starry Night, Rock Star, Starlet, Stardom, and on patriotic holidays, Stars and Stripes. If she’s running really fast, she’s Shooting Star.
2. I am getting to catch my breath for five minutes after a hard summer. I appreciated one of you commenting that I seemed rested or peaceful (you used the word “soft” – I’m going to take that as a compliment as long as you don’t mean my arms) in the most recent Siesta video. You were so sweet to notice. It has been a difficult couple of months for a number of reasons and what you discerned was that I’ve recently come out from under a considerable measure of the stress. We are putting the final editorial touches on Esther and, before we know it, it will go to print after eighteen months of work. I will miss it so much but I will also be very relieved to see this baby girl birthed. I am never happier (ministry-wise) than when I’m working on a Bible study because I so love the process – hard as it is – BUT wrapping one up and getting it to print on time and in tact is always extremely stressful. Add to that about a dozen other things – some of them personal and painful – and you’ve got yourself a challenging summer. Thank you all for your prayers. You will never waste one on me. Please say another for me and for all of us who will seek the Presence of the Lord next weekend in San Antonio. I want to see Him there so badly.
3. Curtis, Melissa, and I are doing the neatest thing this Fall. The sanctuary at our church has been under reconstruction all summer. Since we weren’t positive they’d finish on time for our Fall study, we decided we better do something smaller for one semester so we weren’t dependent upon the sanctuary. For the last year or so the fire’s been burning in us to construct and teach a Bible intro class to a smaller group we could really invest in. I want to know my class members names, for crying out loud! I’ve been dying to teach my own rendition of the series I took years ago in my twenties that lit such a passion in me. And I don’t even have to tell you that this subject matter is right up Melissa’s alley. When we considered that we might not have access to the sanctuary in time to begin, we knew the time was NOW. We’re calling it “Lit” based on the verse out of Jeremiah where the Lord says, “Is not My word like fire?” We’ll teach things like where the Bible comes from (transmission) and what on earth you do with it (Bible study methods). We’ll go back to some basics and actually learn the Books of the Bible (yes, to a song, and, no, not by ourselves in front of the class!) and find out all sorts of cool things about how the Word of God got into the hands of regular people. Melissa and I are team teaching a “graded” class of 18-25 year-old young women (she’ll be able to make 5 of the 10 classes) and Curtis is teaching the same material (one week later) to an ungraded class of both men and women. I’ll be looking in on his class and getting to know them a bit and he’ll be looking in on mine and doing the same. The whole semester will be a team effort. We kept the classes small so we can really invest in these lives. It’s a free course but we took sign-ups this time since we had limited space. Both classes are full (which surprised me, by the way. I wasn’t sure how many people would be interested in a Bible intro course) but I thought you’d get a kick out of knowing what we’re doing and might stop and pray for us. We’ll wait and see if God has any further plans for this concept. I don’t know if we’ll end up working it into a series to be published or not. We’re just going to give our all to these two groups and let God take it from there. Oh, Sister. God completely changed my life with the study of His Word. I want every person on earth – particularly every woman I encounter – to know the transforming power of Christ and the Truth that sets the most hopeless captive free. It was the turning point for me. Even this morning in research for this course, I wept over the beauty of Christ displayed on the pages of Scripture. I am convinced He will give ANY willing soul an insatiable love for Him and His Word…a spirit of wisdom and revelation to know Him better.
Well, Starzy (my favorite nick name for her) is about to wet her pants (no, she doesn’t really wear any. She’s smart but not that smart) so I better sign off and go out in the backyard with her. It’s been storming so she might need some moral support. You know how women are about going to the ladies’ room in groups.
Oh, and our Little Fig is a darling little Lemon now! Amanda’s feeling better every day. Thanks for praying! We are already falling in love with that precious one and can’t wait to hold a newborn in our arms again.
I love you guys so much. Have a great weekend! And believe God for something BIG. He’s so capable.
Sara
I have been in prayer for you since I read your post yesterday.
Please open you heart and listen what God has to say.
I can promise from one who trully knows. Abortion is not the answer but God is.
Please listen to him.
I love these “checking ins” that you do….makes us feel like we’re all friends! Just catching up!
Thanks for everything, siesta mama!
You make me love Jesus more!
My Dearest friend,
I have been believing Him on a journey of faith that , if you knew my story, honestly, would make you cry. This weekend I have been trying to get through your blog and be able to respond, but I would get one point read, and then get interrupted. In the meantime, I have been believing and therefore speaking faith over situations that are way beyond anything I’ve ever thought of experiencing with Him. ( Yes, He is able to do exceedingly above all you can ask or think. He also grabs you and takes you with Him so that you are hanging on to Him for your very life!) When I thought originally of amazing things He could do, even in my wildest imaginations, (or vain ones,, for that matter) I was still on “safe” ground so to speak. Not any more. No one told me it would be terrifying! It’s like getting on a roller coaster ride that you can’t see, but have only heard about. Other people have been on the ride, and lived to tell about it, and that is what makes you sign up. People like Amy Carmichael, and George Mueller and John Wycliffe, etc. Jesus Himself says, “I’m driving, just get in!” I got on…I’m enjoying the ride in a screaming sort of sense. I believe it is the best ride I have ever been on, but I can’t describe how terrifying and exhilirating it is all at once. I so needed someone to say that my faith will be sight. He will come through for me, and I will see HUGE things in my day. I keep searching for the ancient paths, and they all seem to come up completely faith based. Believing Him! The word I needed, was the one you put at the end of this blog: Believe Him for Huge Things! Thank you. Continuing to Believe Him and when I have done everything to stand, STAND! I love you. Now I know why God had me wait till today (Sunday) to finally comment on your blog. As usual, He knew I would need it now.
Lisa in Kirkland, WA
Sara,
I read your post after sending my post. I have not been in your situation, but I do know that the Lord has great plans for His children – you and your child and ALL the children He has created! He loves YOU very much regardless what you have done in the past! He knows what you have been through, going through and will be going through. In the Bible, He says in Psalms Chapter 62:verse 8 (which is right in the middle of the Bible if you have one to look at). “Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge.” He made it possible for you to see Beth M. on Life Today because He wants you to call out to Him, and let Him help you with your precious one, and help you as well. All the women that have read your post love you,and we will be lifting you up in prayer.
Love,
Lea
Dear Beth,
I was at church this morning and I have something on my heart. I suddenly felt that I was putting you on more of a pedestal then I was putting God and His word. Someone said they were so excited to come meet you in San Antonia to meet you and I said I will meet her in Billings. Then they said I did her online class and I said I did her online class alone. OH MY GOSH. How petty for me? I know Mama Beth that you would not want me to put you on a pedestal but yes I do have you on my Treasure Map and the list of the 30 people I want to meet someday. I know you would want me to be a child of God and put the Word first. I am praying Lord help me to stop feeling so invisible and be real to all you you on this blog and Mama Beth. I love you all.

I have not had a chance to read the blogs lately and can I just say how much I love getting caught up. The puppies are completely adorable… we are getting ready to purchase new puppies ourselves and my 15 year old daughter wants a Beagle and had decided that the name Jelly is it! Inspired by you…. although she thinks Jelly like grape jelly…..
I love getting caught up on the Moore family it’s part of why we all feel so connected to you, because you are real and share real life with us. Thank you for letting us all feel like we have a front row ticket to the Moore family!
I am so excited for the Esther study I can hardly wait. If we haven’t said it enough THANK YOU BETH for all your very hard work and everything that goes with that..
Mary
Praying for you! Can’t wait for a Word in San Antonio! I knew He will give you just what we need to hear! (He always does!)
I am leading “Stepping Up” this fall. We Raleigh girls are so excited about doing “OUR” study!
Aren’t puppies such a precious gift from the Lord? I know they are not as precious as people, but they sure are fun! My cocker spaniel Gumbo is 11 years old now, and still my baby. (I call him Gummy Bear a lot).
Siestas please pray for us that are going to San Antonio! I know the Lord is up to something big because of the spritual warfare going on in the lives of many of us. But fighting the enemy is hard work! Thanks!
Much love!
Kristi B.
You folks might as well give up “thinking about doing more” with intro class and just plan on doing more.
The first time I saw the announcement I had two thoughts. The first was “I wonder if I could talk my husband into letting me go to Houston once a week for ten weeks.”
The second was, “no, it will be in print soon enough.”
So, God has it finished-and I will wait until ya’ll catch up!
This morning I needed to worship God. I felt cleansed in the sanctuary. God's Word is transforming. All that had been on my mind this week causing all kinds of chaos seemed like it had been lifted. I need worship & fellowship. The challenges of life can weigh you down. Enjoy hearing others share how God's Word has transformed their lives!
Dear Sara
We siestas want you to know, even though we don’t know you either, that we love you with the love of our father Jesus Christ. You and your unborn child are so special! (not only to us but to our Lord Jesus as well!) We will be praying for you and please feel free to get on this site anytime and blog with us! I would be glad to “talk” with you personally as well. My e-mail address is [email protected].
Much love!
Kristi B.
Beth, I feel like I just got up off the chair from your living room after a fun visit. Thanks for the update. I prayed for you today in church. You are such a wonderful sister in the Lord. Thank you for all you do!
In Him,
Nancy
The fall Bible Study sounds very interesting. I hope it does become a DVD study. Our women’s group would definitely do it. We are looking forward to starting the Esther study in January and will be doing Priscilla Shirer’s study “Can We Talk” in September.
I am glad Amanda is feeling better. I had bad morning sickness up until about 20 weeks with both children and that is no fun. I also had my appendix out with the first one. Such fun memories.
Blessings,
April
I found my e-mail telling about the arm band in lieu of ticket.
Thanks!
My dog really dislikes wearing any type of clothing, and it’s a shame, because she would look really cute in a dress (tee hee). I tried to get her to wear a sweater when it was really cold outside, and she HATED it! When I took the sweater off of her, she attacked it! (I have to admit that it was smack darn hilarious.)
I can’t wait for this coming weekend!!!! Yahoo-JAH!
Thanks for taking time to fill us in on what’s going on in your life.
I was cracking up on your last video when Star was wanting your attention.
My daughter and I are SO excited about the San Antonio trip this week. We’ll be there Thurs. – Sun. and just can’t wait.
Thanks for all you do. The Bible study for the young people sounds awesome. I can’t wait for Esther!
See you in a few days.
Love,
Valerie
Sara,
I just had a friend let me know about your post on Beth’s blog. I know that it would be a miracle for you to come back to the blog and read through the many comments that are here to find this comment but is seems to me that GOD HAS A MIRACLE GOING ON WITH YOU so I am just going to go with my gut on this.
I want to hep you.
Please email me at http://[email protected]
I promise if you will, that God will show Himself to you by sending someone with skin on to help you.
You are not alone as you can see by all of the wonderful women who are praying for you.
God loves you and you baby and you can do this!!
I will be praying and waiting to get your email.
Pat
I feel so loved everytime I come here to catch up. What a God gift to be able to open up your heart to us here on this blog. You make me feel like I could just walk into your house and take a seat on the sofa and just start catching up with what is going on in our lives. Thank you Beth for loving on us!!
Hey sista women. Gosh I have been sooooooooooooooooooo out of the looop it’s not even funny. It’s a long story but I have missed all the summer stuff ya’ll did but the videos were great. My too male poodles had a knock down drag out fight tonight and I got bite on the thumb trying to break them apart( note to self do not stick your hand in between to fighting dogs) I miss the puppy stage.
God Bless ! Love ya’ll Susan
Siesta Mama “B”,
My church group called LAMBS (Love And Ministry Between Sistas) just started “Wising Up” last week. I coordinate two classes, Monday night and Tuesday Morning. We have a total of 100 Sistas! This is my 11th study to oversee at my church. Well, our girls are so accustom to “Heartwork” that several of them encouraged me to write….so this little ole’ Ga Peach has been busy!!! In session 1 you mention how you loved GOD’S word, and I do to or at least I thought I did, until this week..I have been at my computer for hours and I LOVE EVERY MINUTE!!!The LORD has place a burning passion inside of me…I just can’t wait to see what HE does. I’ve written “Heartwork” for session 1 and 2. I will give to the ladies on a weekly bases. Will you pray for me? I know I’m not good enough to mess GOD up, I just want to make HIM and you proud! I Love and deeply admire you!
It’s all GOOD in the Siesta-Hood!
Siesta Staci
Oh, please consider sharing Bible study methods with us on this blog or consider publishing your study. I’m sure many really need guidance in this area–I know I do.
I cannot believe how you’ve found time to train your puppy PLUS do all the things you do. I would love to read your tips for training puppies–especially how to house-train them!
Oh, what great stuff you have planned. LOVE the tag team idea too…I have always wanted to teach a class like that…soon, very soon. The books of the bible song took me waaaaaayyyy back … made me smile thinking about it…how fun!
I love you all so much and I think you are doing a fabulous job. Keeping you in prayer. And of course praying for San Antonio huuuulllllooo. ๐
Beth:
Thanks for the update. I am glad that you have been getting some r and r. From all that has been going on it sound like you needed it. You are not alone in the tough summer thing. Myself and several of my friends have really been struggling this summer. Nothing bad happen (at least for me anyway), just feeling rather dry and flat. We all homeschool and well most of us are just starting to feel like we are even getting close to being ready. Not good since school starts this week or next for most of us. I and 2 of us are coming to S.A. and we are in serious need of some fellowship and spiritual refreshment.
I would be grateful if all would pray for me and my travels to S.A. You know good weather and safety and all. I have to connect in Dallas so need I say more about the weather issues.
Thanks Kim B. in AZ
P.S. You new babies (puppies) are absolutely adorable.
Those pups are too adorable. What joy they must bring to you and your staff. What a blessing it is to be able to have her there with you all at the office.
Your new study “Lit” sounds AWESOME!! I wish I could join you all in it.
I am so happy to hear that Esther is almost available for us, yeah!! My Women’s bible study group will be going through your “Beloved Disciple” study while we wait for “Esther”.
I am looking forward to seeing you here in Vegas next month. I cannot wait!!
Thank you for always sharing something with us. I just love you and your sweet family.
Have a wonderful week ๐
Beth, I am so happy for you and Keith with your new “little ones.” I am also very excited about Esther. I can’t wait until it hits the shelves!!! I am glad some of the stress of all that is involved in a writing and publishing a Bible study is letting up on you. What a fantastic idea about the Bible study – I so wish I could be apart of it. I will be praying over your class and for you, Curtis, and Melissa. I pray that all of your love for the word of God will be so contagious people can’t help but catch it, whether they want to or not. His Word is Life!!! I love you. Thank you for sharing life with all of us;)
The Bible Introduction class would be wonderful!!!! I hope it becomes something we could use in our homes. I have wanted to do an into to Christianity class for a while in our home and and Intro to Bible would be a wonderful addition. We are in contact with a lot of young single adults in our community who have little to no contact with the faith in any way. I will be praying for your class to be a lighting of a fire!
Morgen
Beth, you know – don’t you(?) that there are a large bunch of us that wish we were attending your Bible study this fall. I can’t even imagine how much work it would be to turn it into a Bible study that would be available to all of us but here’s my vote that that would be exactly what would happen.
Have a good week Beth.
Thanks for the update Mama Beth!! So pleased all is going well in your life right now. Will continue to pray that it does!! Love those puppy updates. Also glad to hear “little lemon” is growing.
I am so envious of the girls and guys in your Bible Studies. What a blessing for all involved. Even you, Curtis and Melissa are sure to be blessed as no one comes away from God’s word without a blessing…right???
Would love to see it in a study form.
Will pray for your family!!
Blessings from Bible Bunny in No MI
Thanks for catching us up. You always put a smile on my face! Praying for you all ๐
Love,
Lauren
Sara, today is Monday, and I just read the post from Friday. Please know that I am praying for you. God loves you so much, and He has given us the privilege of praying for you. His mercy endures forever. Listen to that still, small voice. It is the voice of God, and He cares for you. Love, Dee
Dear sweet Beth,
Love the workshop/study for intro to Bible study… sorry but you’d better plan on filming and making this a study for us all too. We NEED it! I’m so in love with gleaning everything from God’s word but don’t know much about how it was written and just the basics of my faith.
Love ya siesta momma,
Jan
Dear Sara,
I want you to know that I just sat and cried with you after reading your note. I can only imagine what you are feeling but God obviously has a plan for you and your baby. He loves you both beyond measure. It was no accident that you paused to hear Beth speak – God spoke to you through her as He has done for so many of us. Many are now praying for you and will continue to lift you up. Please take advantage of the offers for help – that, too, is no accident. You are loved.
Beth,
Oh, please, make this a Bible study that we all can access. I’ve been a Christian for many years, but I would love to learn the best way to study God’s word.
Thanks, too, for puppy news. I know all too well about crying at odd times over a reminder of my pets who have died. They truly are such a wonderful part of our lives.
Love you for all you’ve taught me and for future lessons that I can hardly wait to get in to!
Patty
PS Please come back to NC for a conference!
Hi
Today, Monday, August 18, 2008, I was reading in Matthew 14 about Jesus feeding the 5,000 men, besides women and children. It reminded me of the wonderful simulcast that I was attending August 1 & 2, here in Eureka, California.
In Matthew, the crowds followed Jesus, even when He withdrew by boat privately to a remote place. When Jesus landed he saw them and had compassion on them and healed their sick. As you know, in verses 15 รขโฌโ 19, when it started to get late the disciples wanted Jesus to send the crowds away so they can go to nearby villages and by food for themselves. Jesus, told the disciples to feed them, but only having 5 loaves and 2 fish they brought the food to Jesus who blessed it and fed the crowd. The people ate and were satisfied, verse 20.
Reading Matthew, I thought, in our day, people are hungry for the truth, spiritual truth. God still sees and has compassion on us, a sinful people. He is using your abilities to reach the crowds, 170,000 of us women, besides men and children. The Lord has blessed you Beth, and He is feeding the crowds. Thank you for pointing the way to the true God, the creator of heaven and earth so we can eat and be satisfied. I hope this is and encouragement to you.
Kim
I guarantee if the intro to the bible gets published I will be the first to get it! I get so overwhelmed at times on where to begin to study that I feel defeated before I even begin! Any help would be a blessing to me.
I will be praying for ya’ll!
i’m SO interested in “LIT”
if there’s any way you can publish it, even in a cheap ugly binder or posting on the web, i’d be so indebted.
i think there’s a real need to raise bible literacy among lay people. plus, the more we taste, the more we’ll see that the Lord is good!
The new Bible study sounds wonderful. I have wished we had a video to offer a new Christian with all the fundamentals of the faith at their finger tips. What a grand provision it would be.
I praise God for His all powerful Word!
Betty Barnard
Hi Beth,
I enjoyed your post and just reading about your day, life, etc…
I love the way you sometimes express yourself. Even though I have never met you it sounds like the way I feel, too, sometimes. I come from more of a reserved family and sometimes I just love to kick back and have some good clean fun, even giving my sweet puppy cute nick names, too. Thanks for a smile!
Hey Beth!
Just getting caught up on the last few posts. I was on vacation last week until last night in the Big Apple and in Boston! Woohoo..had a great time!! Glad to be home, too, and getting caught up on things here.
Thanks for sharing what’s going on in your world. I saw people walking the CUTEST puppies in Central Park and had to stop and pet and talk to every single one! Puppies have the same “language” no matter where you go. ๐
I’m so excited that y’all finished up Esther…good job! Can’t wait to be able to do the study! Happy you have a little time to catch your breath now.
The new Fall study sounds very exciting! Will be praying for you, Melissa, and Curtis and for all the attendees. Praying it will be life changing for them!
Thrilled that Little Fig is now Little Lemon and that AJ is feeling better. ๐
Much love to you!
Missy in SC
Beth, I would love to have a copy of your Bible study! Will you be making it available (in audio and/or video)?
Between you and a local Bible Teach (Sharon Thomas – Established Footsteps ministry), I have realized the blessings that can be found ONLY in His Word!
Thank you so much for all your hard work (and encouragement). You will never know what you mean to us!
I’ll add my 2cents. Your upcoming Bible Study – LIT – sounds like some great material for us all. I encourage you to publish it, if the LORD so leads. It would be helpful in so many ways.
Dear Beth,
I generally keep my comments here short and make grand attempts at even trying to be clever, however, today I want to take a little more time and space and ask for your prayers. I am a single mom of a thirteen year old boy and he is by far the brightest color in my life. I noticed this summer, my 13 yr old and I were becoming more frequently at odds with one another. I also recognized this as a natural individuation process. However, I didn’t want his efforts at independence to be something the enemy could use as a foothold to cause division in our household. So, I began to pray about this. My son rides the bus to school but if I drive him we have an extra hour in the mornings together. So, the Lord impressed me to begin to drive him to school and use the extra hour for Bible study. We began in Psalm 18 and learned about the character of God. We keep a prayer journal and a record signs of God’s favor. We did this together for a week and were immensley blessed. He told his friends about it and they asked if they could come. Now, each morning at 7:00am, I have 3 eager 13yr olds, an 11 yr old and 12 yr old sitting at my kitchen table, bibles open and eager to learn the word of God. I am overwhelmed with such gratitude for the opportunity God has given me and sometimes even a little frightened. All of these children are from broken homes, some churched, some not. I have 2 more kids who want to join us but my vehicle is too small, I am praying that God will provide a way for them to join us. So, if you and all the other Siesta’s are awake at 7:00am each weekday morning, think of our little group in Cleveland, Tennessee and say a prayer for these children and for this grateful prodigal who are eager to know HIM! Thanks so much!
Sara,
I’m praying for you, dear one … praying that God keeps on making Himself heard! We all love you. Please let us know how you’re doing.
Beth,
Add another voice to the crowd of siestas who want a Bible intro class. I would dearly love to know more about where the Bible came from (I’ve never heard the term ‘transmission’ before) and how it came down through the ages to us. And I definitely want to know more about studying the Bible. Please, please, please share this study, one way or another. Something we could watch online would be fabulous. Thanks, Beth and LPM, for your amazing ministry.
Mama Siesta, can't wait to get my hands on the Ester study. Also I hope you will consider printing the study you are doing this fall. I know a group of people men & women) that would sooooo greately benefit from a study like that!!! I am finding that so many of our young women and guys need a basic Bible class.
Please oh please consider it!!!!
I pray for you and your ministry. God has so blessed my life through you!!
Love in Christ
Betty

Amanda,
I don’t know if this is the right forum for my comment but I’m about to bust to share this praise.
I will try and keep this short. My husband and I have been trying to rent or sale our home for over a year now. He is in the Navy and we move often. Our home did not sale or rent before it was time for him to report to his next assignment so he went on ahead of us. For 8 months now we have been apart. He came home for a visit in June and said I think it’s time we step out and just trust the Lord to provide. I had not felt like the Lord was saying that to me. I was stuck in the fact we were making it and not struggling to make a rent and mortgage payment. He was asking me to take a leap of faith. My husband was very comforting to me and reminded me of our vows and something I had said to him a few years before and that was not to put God in a box.
We moved in our rental home in a different state the first of this month. I was to being looking for work this week which was hard for a stay at home mom of eight years.
The day our movers were loading all of our belongings into the truck a couple came by to take a tour. I thought it was a bad joke. Needless to say I showed them around and the whole time could not believe it. There were boxes and furniture everywhere and to top it off it was pouring rain. I don’t know how they were even seeing the house through all the mess. They came back a week later for a second look and moved in on this past Saturday. Praise the Lord!
I just wanted to say if anyone is questioning the Lord in anything test Him, Trust Him, hang on to Him. This has been a miracle to us and all He wanted from us (more especially me) was to try Him and trust Him. I will also say this was so very hard for me. I wish I could go into all the details about His timing and answer. He has been faithful and I just had to share.
Thanks for letting me give a praise report. I’m in awe and want to leap out again and trust Him this time with no questioning.

Mama Siesta, Can’t wait for the Esther study. Thank you for going through the stress and taking the time to help us grow in our Bible Study. God is good and we benefit from His goodness through you. Please, oh please, consider printing your fall study. I know a group of young women and men that would greatly benefit from just a basic Bible study.
Please!!!
Thank you for allowing God to use you in a mighty way!!!

NEWS FLASH!!!!!!
I ADORE YOU!
Everytime I get a glimpse into your life, I am filled with a hope. Hope for the future. My Future! I don’t know what is up ahead, but I am learning (quickly) what I want it to consist of. Jesus!( the only soulmate I’ll ever have) A good man ( yours and Kieth’s relationship is so darling and makes me giggle at the thought of something like that in my life).
Friends, children, DOGS! (Duh)
And a warm and welcoming home. I love catching up with you, your like family. You are family.
TO SARA –
I read your post and wanted to comment immeadiatley. The Holy spirit how-ever, pulled on the reigns and made me realize that my words needed to be thoughtful and concise. I can’t say I know the very situation you are in, but I can tell you that Jesus is the ONLY person in this world’s history that has ever stood for me and loved me. And to know, without a shadow of a doubt that my heart and soul was created by GOD, all the while knowing that Jesus possessed every trait this heart would ever yearn for, is NO COINCIDENCE! I will pray for you, for your situation and that you will follow that sweet whisper in your ear. Fix your eyes on Jesus. He will carry you through situations you never knew were possible. The enemy wants you to try and figure it out on your own, so that you are on your own.(Satan never helps pick up the pieces).
The LORD loves you more than anything!!
Isaiah 40:31 (New International Version)
31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
My prayers are with you dear Siesta, you are my friend and in my thoughts.
With the LOVE OF THE KING,
Molly

One more thing for SARA ( you are just on my mind, sweetie)
There is a song by Leeland called, “Opposite Way.” It is a beautiful song and the lyrics are poetic and real.
I encourage a listen.
