Yahoo-Jah! Amanda and I are packing a few last things this very second and Melissa is already at the airport in Atlanta. It’s Siesta Fiesta Time in San Antonio, Texas!! We are beside ourselves to see all of you who can come and will miss every last one of you that can’t. We’re going to raise the roof of praise in the Alamo Dome, do some synchronized diving into the glad river of Scripture then hug us as many Siesta necks as we can at our Saturday afternoon gathering!
We promise to bring back plenty of pictures so all of you can see some of the faces of sisters you’ve been blogging the faith with. (We blog by faith. Not by sight.)
Until then, the most important thing you could possibly do to lock arms with us is PRAY and, needless to say, not just for your dear Siestas but for every single person God will draw into His Presence. He has given me Ephesians 2:21-22 to pray for this event. I’d be so honored for you to agree with me in it:
Lord, cause the WHOLE BUILDING to join together and rise to become a holy temple in You. And in You let us all be built together to become a DWELLING IN WHICH YOU LIVE BY YOUR SPIRIT!
Wave the banner of Jesus’ Name over San Antonio, Abba Father.
I love all of you so much. Fight the good fight, young ladies. Fight the good fight!!
Man, oh man, do I want to be there with yall so bad!!! I keep comforting myself with the truth that one day we will all be together and never have to leave… but till then I will be praying for you (and for myself to not get too jealous that I am missing out on the siesta fiesta). Love you girls!
I so wanted to be there, but alas, it was not to be. I will be there in spirit. Hopefully, I can make the next Siesta event!!!!
Lord, I just ask that you bless the flip-flops off these ladies this weekend. You totally rock and they just need to be with your awesome self this weekend. BE HUGE. Help them to open their hearts to a new work by the power of the Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. The DEAD!!! Breathe Life. Strengthen and refresh the worship team and Beth and the support staff. Most of all, bless the Siesta Fest. Help those of us struggling with jealousy because we can’t be there. I’m still believing for a divine Starbucks appointment with Beth closer to my home in Iowa. You can do it, Lord. And if you make us wait ’til heaven, I’m cool with that too. In the mighty name of Jesus…AMEN. Have fun, girls!
Will be praying all goes well… that hearts are touched, lost become saved, blind eyes see…
Blow a kiss to the Riverwalk for me and to my kid sister who lives there. 🙂
Oh how I wish I could be there. What a great gathering it will be. Your scripture is beautiful. I pray the Lord finds a dwelling place for His spirit in every siesta and all the ladies who will attend this weekend.
As one of the Siestas who cannot attend…I will attend via the Spirit and bless your time together. May it be a Fiesta to remember!
Beth Ash
Have a blast with all of your blogging Siestas!…Praying for God to reveal Himself in a mighty way to all those who will be there.
Nichole you are so funny! I love the part in the prayer about those of us who are jealous! I’ve been praying that to and consoling myself with the thought that those who were able to go must really need that hug around the neck much worse than me… And then I laugh cause I can just picture Jesus shaking His head cause He knows my heart! I WANNA GO!!! I’m laughing as I write this and will be on my knees praying for everyone who could that they be blessed and laugh till they almost pee! Our God is fun and I am so happy for you all (really I am)!Love and prayersJudyÂ
I have been and will continue to pray. I’ll add Ephesians 2:21-22 to the prayers I pray for everyone attending.
Happy Siesta Fiesta!
How I wish I could be there. I’d love to see San Antonio again and to be with you all at the Siesta Fiesta! My prayers will definitely be there. I know everyone is going to be immensely blessed.
Have a blast and May God meet you in a very special way.
Melanie
Have a wonderful Fiesta!! Praying for you all!
You’re so funny! I’m staying here in California, but hope you all have a blast!
Oh I have been a siesta for just a few weeks, so missed the Bible study and of course the Siesta Fiesta…but you’ve all know idea how much in 3 weeks you have entered my heart. I pray that it is the most wonderful, God filled, Spirit moving, God believing, fabulous, anointed event ever! I am so excited for God to see you all under one roof! So I am praying for you all from Massachusetts with love in my heart.
Please pray for us and our families too, as I cannot imagine God doing anything but “bindin’ and a loosin’ ” in heaven as Beth says in her Believing God study, when all you ladies stand together in prayer!
Love,
Lynne
You all were on my mind and in my prayers early this morning. I will continue to pray for you and will be there in spirit. Love to all of you. Dee
Hope you all have a BLAST in God’s Word and in fellowship. Wish I could be there. Prayers for everyone!
Yeah! We just made it to San Antonio from Missouri! Can’t wait for tonight and tomorrow! See you in a couple of hours!
I just wanted to wish all of you who are blessed to be a part of the first Siesta Fiesta safe travel and God’s most abundant blessings this weekend. It’s my joy to pray with all the saints that God will cause the WHOLE BUILDING to join together and rise to become a holy temple in Him; and that God will let us all be built together to become a DWELLING IN WHICH HE LIVES BY HIS SPIRIT. (Ephesians 2:21-22)
Have fun, Siestas, and God Bless

Praise to You, Father, for what You are going to do in and through our siestas in San Antonio!!! We are joined to them through You and we “rise to become a holy temple in the Lord … and we are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit.” Ephesians 2:21-22
Annoint the worship and the worship leaders, the musicians, the prayers, the testimonies, the speakers, the “temple” with Your powerful Holy Spirit. What a mighty God You are!
In Him! Amen!
Hi all!
Boy have I struggled over the past year about not being able to attend the fiesta. I really tried to make it happen and God just kept shutting one door after another. I finally came to the point where I was ok with that (said with gritted teeth!!)
Well today I had to have outpatient surgery (can anyone say, “it’s tough being a woman??!!”) God knew in advance and saved me from the disappointment of having to cancel a trip. Praise God that His ways are higher and better than my ways.
While I recoop, I’ll have lots of time to be praying for this special weekend.
Blessings to all.
Kelli
I’m fairly new to blogger… and just found your site yesterday. 🙂
Your anointed words have pulled me out of the deperation pit a time or two… or three… etc.
Blessings in S.A.!
annie 🙂
Oh, how I wish I could join you 🙁
But, you’ve all been prayed over and I just know the Lord is going to be there in full force! HAVE A BALL, Y’ALL!!!
Oh, I wish I could be there!!
I’ll be here in Minnesota, praying for God’s mighty presence to cover all present; that he stirs hearts and moves powerfully in the hearts and lives of all Siestas that are there.
Deb
Oh how I wish I could be there with all the Siestas! I will be at my Grandfather’s Memorial Service (he passed in March out in AZ) – praising Jesus for resurrection joy!
Be BIG this weekend God!!! Praying for all my Siestas… grant them safe travel, much fun and a great, great time just Glorifying the King!!! Praise Jesus for the Siesta Fiesta!
YAHOO-JAH!!! I’m about to head over to the Alamodome right now :-)! I can’t wait to get some hugs from my siestas.
I’ll be praying it and fasting it for you from my home.
Peace!
Amen & Amen! Praying for you all!! Have a blast in the precious name of Jesus! Wish I could be there!

Dear Beth, Amanda, Melissa, and Siestas –
I wish I could be there. But you are in my thoughts and prayers. And I know that our Lord Jesus will do great and mighty things!!
Much love,
Sharon, NC
Dear Beth,
My new favorite phrase is WE BLOG BY FAITH,NOT BY SIGHT ! This 56 yr.old Siesta now has a blog and is in a CHAT room for BIBLE STUDY. That could ONLY be God!!! Wish I could be there in person but will definitly be attending in spirit. Love all you dear SIESTAS.
LINDA
Can’t be with you, but my prayers are going up right now. Lord, give them a joy that is beyond measure, a love for each other, and Lord don’t allow the evil one an inch of space on this one. Lord, please pour out your spirit all over these sweet siestas — and over Beth, Lord annoint her right now.
I’m praying you all the way there and back — give Him all the glory in all ways and always.
Praying for you all!! How I wish I could be there to meet you and see all of your faces. May God pour out His Spirit in that place and may you never be the same again! Love you all.
Siesta in FL (wishin’ I was in Texas!)
I get to baby sit a special dog!!! Too much fun!!! what a blessing to my heart. You guys have a fun, joyful time. Allison
and from the special dog…
Arf, Arf!
“(We blog by faith. Not by sight.)”
I laughed out loud.
I prayed for you all early and I will continue to pray.
I wish I could be there, but it was not GOD’S will..and the one’s that are there…it is meant for each of them and to get a word.
LORD, you will be in their midst..because they have so many that have gathered in your name alone to be glorified.
Do what you do and let know one leave without a heart that is consumed in holy passion for the ONE and only that can fulfill every need.
I love you and I thank you for what YOU already have done.
IN JESUS NAME…AMEN
Have a joyful time in the LORD…return to your siestas with good words.
Love and Blessings,
Teri
Yeah! And I would just like to reiterate what Nichole said!!! I couldn’t of said it better myself! (Honestly Nichole that was so good and so funny. I really could never have said it better!!) I love your mom’s remarks as well.
Know that I am lifting all my Siesta’s up in prayer this weekend. Those who could attend and those, like me, who couldn’t. I just know Jesus is doing some mighty works this weekend in San Antonio! Amen!!
Can’t wait to see the pictures.
Love, Lori
I’ve decided it must not be jealousy I feel, because I’m happy for all of you who get to go…maybe wistful is a more descriptive word…
I laughed reading this post then prayed for San Antonio from right here in my recliner. God bless you all!
Ohhhhh.. I am soo sad to not be going! 🙂 Beth.. I really want to meet you! One day. 🙂
I will be lifting you up in prayer… have a great time and blog all about it!
I had to put my priority and $$ into Deeper Still in Las Vegas but I am with you in Spirit in
San Antonio. Plus eye surgery the Tues before might have had a tad to do with it.
Please put something together again for the blog Siestas. Alternate West Coast, East Coast, Mid-West perhaps.
My God and His Spirit bless An Antonio Friday and Saturday.
I live in San Antonio and was downtown this evening watching the parade of women flowing into the Alamodome. I had forgotten about the event being this weekend and when I asked a parking lot attendant what was going on he said that he thought it was some Christian women’s group and that he had heard the place rocking earlier. May God bless this event for you gals and Rock on for Jesus!!
I so wanted to come, but God knew I needed to be home for many reasons. I’m praying for you Beth and Siesta sisters.
Thank you for giving God the honor and glory with your obedience to his word. Much love!
While I can’t be there at the Siesta Fiesta, I will be with you in Las Vegas in a few short weeks. I will be coming from northern Michigan, my mom from Southern Michigan and my sister from San Diego. We will all meet up in Las Vegas for a great weekend of fellowship! I must share that as I tell people that I will be going to Las Vegas for a christian womens conference, they seem hesitant to believe me. Las Vegas…. Christian conference… I see their point and yet we will rock the strip with praises to the King of kings and Lord of lords!! Kimberly in northern Michigan
I can’t be there either, but I will be praying for you guys. Hope all get s special blessing fall on them! Have fun in the LORD, and praise His Holy Name! Enjoy, and hugs to all!
Delilah
I know it will be an incredible weekend, with an anointing only the Lord can provide to all who attend. And to the siestas….Oh I wish I could be with you! I am on my way to be with our daughter and son-in-law for the birth of our first grandchild! And it is a biesta (boy) not a siesta! My prayers are with all of you! Have a blast!!!
Love and hugs to all of you…
Fanci (my new grandmother name!)
Want to be with you all so bad!!!!!!!!! Well, to be honest, I really want to have this baby more!!So I think I will stick around here in the Atl and think about all of you wonderful people getting together to celebrate our amazing God and the friendships He has given us.
Praying for all of your safety as you travel and may He just be laughin’ right there with you as you hug, cry, and of course eat!!
We are here! YEAH! Last night was awesome! Can’t wait till this morning!
We are ready to soak in what it means to have an inheritance… especially since we are HIS Glorious Inheritance! So fun!
Praying for you and your team!
Emmy : )
It’s 9:20 Saturday am – I’ve got my LPM 3 cd on and “Made Me Glad” has just played….i was on my knees to “my shield” – He is so wonderful! I have all of you in San Antonio on my mind – Lord, be present there right now….move in their hearts, be with Beth as she exalts your name and speaks your truth – let it crush the enemy and his lies! God please have your hand of protection on each member of the Living Proof team – protect and guide them as they seek to honor you. Lord, take the participant home safely today, refreshed by your presence and your word – let them be a blessing in their homes, families and all their circles of influence. Let Your Name be EXALTED today!
Amen –
Beth and family – from one who has been so deeply touched by God through your ministry – keep running the race – the cost must be immense at times. Know that you are soooooo appreciated and God uses you greatly to help women find the “on” switch of the light that illuminates God’s word in their lives. Love and blessings to “you all!”
Leslie Olson
From the moment I read the invitation I was ready to go! But like the others I will present mu disappointment to the Lord and pray that those there will be blessed and renewed and ready to bring back to their area the mighty love of Christ to all they encounter!
