I don’t dream of exotic vacations or “adventure” travels. My dream is to attend a LPL event in person. Until then I must be content to “attend” via recaps. So, thanks for the video and making that possible.

What an amazing start to my week. As I sat watching the video, such a sweet joy came over me.

Then, as if the video was not enough, I see out of the corner of my eye a hand waving back and forth.

I look up and see my 4 year old daughter, Micah, with a spoon in one hand eating her cereal, and the other raised, praising Jesus to the music that was playing with the video.

Ushered straight to the altar in my heart on this Monday morning.

    Praise you Jesus,

    April

DON’T YOU JUST LOVE THE BODY OF CHRIST?

I love these recaps. I love the feeling that something huge was going on in the Kingdom and in some small way we get to be a part.

I absolutely CAN NOT WAIT until Louisville in August. Anyone else but me and Kelli going???

Thanks, Amanda for sharing this. Is there a commissioning? Just curious, you know?

Dear Beth – What a wonderful time in Vancouver – it is such a blessing to hear what God has to say to us through someone as fun as yourself! I am actually from Washington state and travelled up north for the conference. By the way, speaking as someone who lives in the northwest but is FROM the south, your accent actually brings me the warm feeling that I’m home! ๐Ÿ™‚ I just wanted to run up there and give you a big old southern hug!
Thanks for a great weekend and letting God work through you.
PS – I’m new to this blog – why is everyone called “siestas”?

I pray that He will pour down more of His Holy Spirit on all of us this morning and that we would indeed worship Him in a manner worthy.

    WORTHY is the LORD!!

Thanks for the video this morning and the chance to lift my hands in praise to Him!

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing the precious time you had in Vancouver with us! I am so blessed to know that women across America receive the benefit of wisdom and truth as Beth brings the Word of the Lord to life. What a blessing and honor to have been able to stand in prayer with you all this weekend. The Lord is amazing!

Thanks for your work for the Lord. LPL Jacksonville, here we come. If you need any help with resource table, I’m probably not too rusty to help. Love you, Beth. Annette

Thank-you for summarizing our wonderful weekend together. It is difficult to portray such a time in one video….as one of my friends put it….God was palpable. A friend of hers accepted Christ this weekend!!! I don’t know why we’re so often amazed at how God works things out…He is God don’t you know. Beth, God has so used you to speak truth into my life since my first of your studies six years ago. I’ve “loved” Jesus since I was young, but you were the first to witness to my spirit the truth of really being “in love” with Him…to make me say…”I want what she’s having”!! Through you God has appointed moments with Him to meet me just where I was (and never in my life imagined I would be…including betrayal)…right smack in the middle of Believing God I went through some of the toughest stuff of my life. You also visited us in Vancouver right in the thick of it all and I’ve been amazed at how God works things ever since. Thank-you for your faithfulness to Him and your teaching this weekend on how we must release our need to Him and allow His grace to replace it…some of us don’t even recognize the stuff we hang on to (it gets very comfortable after a while).God bless you all as we work “shoulder to shoulder” across the blogosphere. But heh…let’s all stick tight with our “Home Girls”…it’s easier to be vulnerable on a blog than to be real in person…nothing can replace someone with “skin on”. One last funny thing…maybe you should have a warm-up/cool down as part of worship…my friend said that she knew she was out of shape when her thighs were burning the next day after worshiping so hard…good stuff!!

Happy 10 Year Anniversary LPM…may God give you another wonderful ten years. Beth’s Bible studies give me a productive way to study God’s Word. This past September my BFF asked me to join her in the Daniel study at her church and now we are in the updated A Woman’s Heart. We have new areas of conversation that lift us up, so thank you all.

Oh I can not WAIT for San Antonio. As a Houston girl and one of the ones lucky enough to worship and study here, I thought that would be enough. But when I got word that LPL would actually be in Texas I was ecstatic!

And so were my girlfriends! We are 12 strong, coming from as far as California to study and laugh and cry together in August.

    WE CAN NOT WAIT!!!

Thank you Amanda! Way to start out a Monday! The song with the video was incredible! About half way through I just felt the LORD say, “it’s going to be okay, baby..you’re almost through this battle.” The battle has been long and hard fought and I have my scars to prove it. I just raised my hands and watched and bawled like a baby. Thank God, HE IS FAITHFUL! I was watching some of those women coming before Him, I recognize the emotions on their beautiful faces, because last year in February, the very first LPM of the year, those same emotions, facts, faith, were upon my face also. Isn’t He good, to give such a good work, and word, fresh and new all of the time, each time!? He just amazes me! Thank you for sharing this AJ, God bless you all.

What beautiful Siestas we have in Vancouver!! This is hard to describe in words but I have been attending LPL conferences since 2000. I have been an encourager at 4 events and every time I see the recap video it gets me. To see my sisters in Christ walk down for prayer, it just gets me. I don’t say this lightly but it is an honor , a blessing to pray for you even if it is at my home while you are there! Praise God!

Megan at My Heart, My Home says:

Amanda, thanks for posting this. Even though I’ve never been to an LPL event before, I always feel encouraged by seeing the footage. Why? Because when I see the faces of thousands of women praying and worshiping, it reminds me that there are so many sisters (and brothers) for Christ in our world. Sometimes it’s easy to think only of our own church’s congregation worshiping, when we have millions of followers of Christ around us! What a blessing! Until He comes ๐Ÿ™‚

Wow!! That is some of the best “advertising” I have seen! LOL Makes me want to run out and buy tickets to the Jacksonville one. But alas they are not in the budget for this year.
I sat here watching that, wanting to be a part of it, to have God touch my life in the way He was touching those there. Then I realized, God can touch my life just as powerfully right here in my own room. I just need to seek Him with all my heart, soul, mind and strength.
Off to finish my homework for Living Beyond Myself! Expecting God to meet me in that time!

Glory to God! What a blessing it was this weekend to Behold the Lamb and to know that He moved mightily in our midst. As I watched the video I am in tears remembering the blessing and outpouring of His Spirit that was with us to deliever, set free, and to just be real before our Maker. The Lord is great and greatly to be praised. I thank God for His chosen vessels that ministered and were available in obedience to be used by Him.The Lord is doing great things in these days, North America is being awakened by His Spirit . Let us continue to cry out that nothing is held back from His altar.Today I go forth believing God and praising His name that He has accomplished what I laid on the altar. Why? Because God is who He says He is. For those of us that were their keep looking unto Him and not at our circumstances this will be a challenge but lets not forget that we are here for each other to encourage. Thank you Beth I love you. God is so wonderful I don’t know you personally but I do know you ( I know this dosen’t make sense in one way)and I know I am loved. Praise God for the body. Love LRP

Thank you for putting together the slideshow! On this gray and rainy Bellingham, WA morning, I need to be reminded of how I felt and what God taught me up in Vancouver this last weekend.

God moved powerfully. The enemy of my soul is not happy today and I am sure feeling it. Adversity surrounds me, yet I will choose to praise my God.

Glory to God! What a weekend of blessing and worship to the Lamb upon the throne. I have spent the last couple days since the conference just beholding the Lamb and the mighty move of His Spirit that took place. God is so good He opened prison doors and set captives free and came by His Spirit and we laid things on His altar and left them there once and for all. Thank you so much to the whole team for your willingness to be available and obey Jesus and allow Him to use you as His vessels. God is moving in a mighty way throughout North America what a exciting time to be alive. To all that were their lets keep looking to Jesus and not to our circumstances or feelings. Jesus has done all things lets believe Him. I take great comfort in knowing that God is who He says He is and circumstances don’t change that so lets go on rejoicing. Beth I love you so much even though I don’t know you personally I do know you ( I know this sounds weird) The Lord is great and greatly to be praised. And like you said this weekend Beth in years to come we will look back and see this weekend as a mighty move in our relationships with Jesus as He pushes us forward to Him. What a friend we have in Jesus we are free to be completely real so lets start doing this. Love to sisters throughout the world. LRP

It is so amazing how God just smacks ya right in the face! The portion of scripture that Beth shared in Vancouver just pierced my soul. Nothing is hidden from God’s sight…who have I been kidding! Only myself, I guess. The two days spent in worship and in the word have brought about a HUGE “heart change” for me. I know that I can come running to the mercy seat!

Thank you LPM for bringing these life changing events to women! You are a HUGE blessing!

I hear you girl! I’ve been to 4 LPL events and can tell you wholeheartedly it is worth every dime spent…every mile traveled to participate. As for me, I gave up diamonds and pearls years ago, so that I could have Beth’s Bible study kits instead! They are my “bling” and have given me more joy than anything this world could offer. God bless you, and I pray you can make it to an event soon!

I am an AMATEUR photographer in every way, form and fashion, but I so appreciate these pictures by Rich and the presentation that the movie shows. It is one thing to attend an event like this, it is clearly another challenge to make others a part of an event with a presentation like this!! I am so impressed with the pictures and the presentation. This is what I live for – to bring pictures alive to others through presentations!

Thank you for sharing this with us. Questions…what kind of camera does Rich use? what kind of software is used for the presentation?

Very impressive – you sucked me in!! Love it!!!

    Beth and the The Team,
Tears are spilling and I am overwhelmed with a good, Godly jealously for you. It is obvious from the pics that whenever two or more are gathered in HIS name, He is there – and HE showed up huge this weekend. I am so happy for all that got to see it first hand. Please pray that for me that our family can work out our finances by good stewardship and that traveling to an event such as this is one of the blessings that come from that good stewardship.
    Peace,
