Tell Me How You Are

Hey, Darling Ones! In case you’ve been looking in the lost and found for your senior Siesta, here I am! I’ve had lots of (good but busy!) family stuff going on and, in the process, got behind on my writing for Esther. SO I had my man take me to the cactus lands of West Texas where cell phones don’t ring, emails don’t send, and deadlines are what happen when someone runs the tractor over the telephone wire AGAIN. A divine set-up indeed. And I got caught right on up, praise You, Jesus. All is well with Moores, Jones’s, and Fitzpatricks. I have all sorts of things to catch you up on and I’ll do that soon. Far more importantly, it is Holy Week and I’ll look forward to reflecting with you on some of what that means – some of what CHRIST means – to us as we approach the weekend.

Until then (most likely Friday), I’d so dearly love to know how you are doing. Check in and let me know. Keep your responses to one to two sentences max so that I can read them all. Can’t wait to hear about you. I’m so sick of myself I could throw up. Love you, Siestas, and I’ve missed you!

He is doing such a huge work in my heart through Stepping up! I cant begin to express what that study has meant to me. From the very first day I knew I was to write a poem at the end of the Psalm when we are asked to make our own prayer. I have never written a poem/rhyme in my life. But, he has given me a RHYME! This is my Birthday weekend, so I am taking the day to celebrate with my mom. We are heading out to go SHOPPING!!! Thanks for all you do

    Hi,
Winters are long in Wyoming so I’m very ready for spring. Easter is my favorite holiday! I am very close to the Lord latley and have seen many answered prayers. One of the answered prayers is a group of ladies meeting at my house to “get us some wisdom.”
    Thanks for all you do!

    Hi Beth,
I sure have missed hearing from you or Amanda. I have been celebrating this week rejoicing that Christ gave us life by dying on the cross and then resurrecting. I have finished my cancer treatments and praise God for His faithfulness in seeing my through.

    Hi Beth!

I started “Beloved Disciple” in my home two weeks ago. Great things are happening!! God is touching a lot of hearts, that’s for sure. But, even though there are a lot of blessings, there is still a sense of emptiness coming from somewhere (with me). What’s up with that?

    Have a glorious Easter.

This song sums it up for me even when things don’t seem to go quite right…. “Oh Oh Lord, you’ve been so good to me. I can’t deny it, or try to hide it, want to let the whole world see, I’m singing. Oh Oh Lord, you’ve been so good to me, I want to spread, come on and let it, set you spirit free” ~ Lyrics from Kathleen Carnali new CD Dangerous Prayer!

    Beth,
I have missed reading the blog daily but I know you have work to do. ๐Ÿ™‚ The Lord has blessed me with allowing me to find some friends I had lost touch with years ago. One was a summer missions partner and the other a roommate. Both of these girls have made a deep impact in my life and are living for Christ. Our family recently relocated and although I love it here, I find myself yearning for the familiarity and comfort of old friends. Thank you Lord. I will be at the Jacksonville conference with one of my NEW friends here in FL. Blessings on you and your loved ones.

I’m having a hard time right now. I have much to be grateful for in my life, loving husband, adorable baby, one more on the way. But my job at work has taken a nosedive over the last 12 months. I hate not liking what I do 9 hours of my day and being a stay-at-home mom is just not an option right now. I am not even sure what to pray for anymore. I just need some supernatural help and hoping God knows what I need.

Just glancing over the first couple of comments made me realize I am not alone. I have been struggling, and not in a pit of sin. Just really hard to explain but realize it is spiritual warfare. So, God is up to something HUGE and satan is mad. Oh, he will not be victorious. We may be down but we are not defeated. I praise God this morning for the revelation! Thank you for your ministry!

Hope all have a great Easter.

My husband and I celebrated our 15th anniversary yesterday with a day to ourselves. We went to the Kimbell Art Museum in Ft. Worth to see an exhibit of the “Earliest Christian Art.” I couldn’t help but think of how much you would love it, Beth. It was fascinating, and you would have been reading your brains out! Ha! They had artifacts from as early as the 3rd and 4th centuries. It was wonderful and inspiring… especially the scenes of Daniel as I have just completed that study! Have a happy and blessed Easter, sweet teacher! Gina

The enemy has been after me big time. I was so looking forward to this Holy week to draw closer to the Lord. My chronic pain has been so much worse, I have a big financial need, my son’s apartment was robbed and then he was in a car accident (not his fault…he’s ok). BUT, I refuse to let the devil steal my joy. God has been so good. He has ministered to me mightily and I’ve had the pure joy of forging a new/close friendship with a sister at church. Please pray…that my pain will decrease and that He will meet my financial needs. God is Good ALL the Time!

    Love ya,

Last night we took our daughter to her first movie, the Dr. Suess one. She burst through the movie theater doors into the lobby, announcing her 3 year old verdict for ALL to hear(as if they were only standing there waiting for her to come out and tell), “I LIKED THE MOVIE!!!”

Also…(I’ve been waiting to tell you this) found out two weeks ago that the baptist church downtown opens their library to the community, and we can check out your studies!!! Money not being an issue now, I can work through some more and maybe lead one too. Being sick of yourself, you may not understand how deeply thankful I am..so thankful!
