Tell Me How You Are

Hey, Darling Ones! In case you’ve been looking in the lost and found for your senior Siesta, here I am! I’ve had lots of (good but busy!) family stuff going on and, in the process, got behind on my writing for Esther. SO I had my man take me to the cactus lands of West Texas where cell phones don’t ring, emails don’t send, and deadlines are what happen when someone runs the tractor over the telephone wire AGAIN. A divine set-up indeed. And I got caught right on up, praise You, Jesus. All is well with Moores, Jones’s, and Fitzpatricks. I have all sorts of things to catch you up on and I’ll do that soon. Far more importantly, it is Holy Week and I’ll look forward to reflecting with you on some of what that means – some of what CHRIST means – to us as we approach the weekend.

Until then (most likely Friday), I’d so dearly love to know how you are doing. Check in and let me know. Keep your responses to one to two sentences max so that I can read them all. Can’t wait to hear about you. I’m so sick of myself I could throw up. Love you, Siestas, and I’ve missed you!

Received a gift certificate from LPM for Christmas. Ordered Believing God and finished it within a week. Can I just say that I read the chapter where you said you prayed for a miracle in the beginning of the study for every person reading. So, I thought to myself, “Well, that’s really a sweet thing for her to do. God bless her heart.” Finished up my prayer time, came out of the bedroom, and there sat my daughter. She said, “Mom, you’re not going to believe this, but guess what?” Can I just say that it was an answer to prayer that left me with my mouth hanging wide open, and my eyes as big as a plate! Within 1 hour, there were three, yes I said THREE answers to prayer that I had been “face down” before the Lord for!!! WHHHOOOOHOOOOOO! That’s enough to make you do a praise dance!! Thank you for your love for Him and allowing Him to work through your precious self!
    Love you! Glad you’re back!

I’ve been great!! We’re expecting our first child…I’m right at 6 weeks. I could also use some prayer b/c I did have some spotting this week and found out that my progesterone levels are “dangerously low.” I know God sees my baby’s unformed body and has already ordained his/her days. I know He’s in control…and I also know I could use some prayers of praise and prayers of good health for me and my baby! ๐Ÿ™‚

(I’m not sure if the first one went through-not used to blogging)
I’m struggling with heading into another big storm at work after not having recovered from so much there already including the emotional abuse of a doctor/peer. I feel like I’m sinking faster now, and feel like God is so silent.

Hey Beth! Great to hear from you! SO looking forward to seeing you in San Antonio. Have a great spring break with my 9 year old and am preparing to share with her (again) about the true meaning of Easter. Thank you letting us all see a glimpse of each other’s lives and that we are not alone in the “daily’s” of life. Blessings to you Siesta!

We never tire of you, Beth. I sm looking forward to Easter and spending time with family. I also get to spend Saturday morning with my bible sistas at “Believing God” study. I can’t think of a better time to be with them. I am trying something new — my sister and I decided to order Easter dinner from a local gourmet supermarket.

My husband revealed/confessed secrets to me this week that he had been holding in for the last two years. A veil has been lifted on our marriage and we are feeling the rush of the Spirit of God! Breakthrough and freedom are flowing freely! I am so proud of my man and love him more today than ever, even though what he shared was hard to hear.

    Three sentences?

We’ve missed you, too. I am knee deep in preparing more than 5,000 gifts for our Women’s “PINK” Conference at church next weekend. I got an email last night that thrilled and filled me with trepidation all at the same time: “I got an email that you are interested in teaching (a class at church) could we set up a time to explore this option.” I am so excited, so thrilled – and after I learned to breathe again I read Jeremiah Chapter 1 and was much encouraged. Okay… so that was four! Sorry!

Please pray for a changed heart for my pastor. He is afraid to do what God has said in His Word for fear that more will leave the church. Also pray for my son, Timothy, who is at a crossroads in his life of deciding what kind of man he wants to be, a godly man or a worldly man. Thanks

Heartbroken over my son and his life right now. He is trying to blend a new family, plus he and his new wife expecting a new little one. They are both experiencing terrible times with the “exes.” I don’t even recognize my son right now – he has become so bitter and angry. So much going on. I would have never thought this would happen. Please pray that God gets through to him.

Last night, clear as a bell (in my heart), Jesus said, “Chris, if you hear ‘no’ tomorrow, it means I have said ‘yes’ to something greater. I got my ‘no’ today, and it broke my heart to pieces. The enemy is attacking me with consuming sadness, devastation, but I am clinging tightly to the promise of the ‘yes’ of Jesus. I believe Him. He’s right. I know He is.
