Women of Faith

So, who’s going to be at the pre-conference in Phoenix? Bethie and half of our girls are heading out today.

We have something kind of cool going on at LPM right now. I can’t really share details, but please pray for my mom and dad and our leadership to be wise and to know God’s will.

To end this very random post, my Wising Up group finished last night. (We skipped the three sessions on marriage and motherhood since most of the girls in my group are only 18 or 19.) We had a really enjoyable semester together. I know I am biased, but I loved the sessions. I am ready to do a homework study again next semester. Thankfully, there’s a new one out! More to come on that…

I pray for the Lord to anoint Beth as she teaches our dear siestas in Phoenix. Lord, please protect them and give them travel mercies.

Lord pour out Your wisdom, discernment, and clarity on the Moores and the staff as they make decisions. Give them confirmations as needed and close the doors that need to be closed.

Please bless Amanda and her family as well as Melissa.

Thank You for the work they all do to advance the Kingdom here on earth. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.

Girl – they need the marriage and motherhood BEFORE they get to that point! Pave the way! Had my daughter there for those and she has now also just finished Esther because of those exact sessions! She said I have to have more wisdom for this marriage and soon to be mom thing. Just an encouragement to prepare non-married and non-moms in advance!

Have a great time away . . . will be praying as you requested. Tell Beth that the “hat” was great! Especially with a cuppa watching an old flick with my man. Kudos!

Be safe, take care of your dear family, and know that you are very dearly loved!

I am so excited and ready to filled with the Word this Friday in PHX…I have just been diagnosed with cancer for the third time. I have been feeling real numb in my walk with the Lord, believing in His sovreignty and dealing with real life. It gets tough. So with that said, YES, I am ready for Beth and the crew to come and bless my (our) socks off…Amen !!

    Hi Amanda,
I will join you in prayer for your parents, and for all those in leadership at LPM.

We have 2 more sessions in our Wising Up discipleship class. Our class is made up primarily of married women so we are watching the entire 12 weeks. God has been awesome. He has spoken so clearly to our hearts in this study. We thank Him for His precious servant and teacher, our Beth.

Strangely enough, I think we are ready for some homework as well.

Next semester, we will re-visit Living Beyond Yourself and a second group will study, A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent. I am so looking forward to it.

You all have fun in the mountains next week. I pray it will be a time of relaxation and refreshment for each of you.

    Hugs

I was just visiting the Lifeway website and didn’t realize the new Bible study was out! I loved watching the video samples and was hugely and pleasantly surprised by the addition of music to the sessions! How awesome is that??!! It was also neat seeing Ms.Beth on location because I remember praying for her during that trip. I can’t wait for our church to do this study and am so hungry and excited for a fresh new word from the Psalms!

    Hey Amanda and LPM Staff,
I pray for Gods will to be done in that situation. I have a special request for a new product. I’m surprised there isn’t one yet, I know it will be soon to come out, every year I look for one and end up buying Jonie Erikson Tada’s planner. A Beth Moore or LPM daily planner (I know there is the Whispers of Hope “planner” but you have to fill it in yourself)
I’m talking about a 2008 daily planner with devotions etc… they would sell like hot cakes!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on finishing your study. Onward and Upward.

I am going!!! I cannot wait! I am driving one of our church vans up from Tucson, we have two van loads of ladies and we are so jazzed!

I am a long time fan of and participant in Beth Moore Studies. I got to attend the Living Proof Conference last Decemeber, didn’t think I would be able to go to this one and so I resigned myself to not going. Praise God!! He had a better plan in mind, and I am going!!

I only recently found your blog and have been tuning in whenever I can. It is such a blessing and and encouragement to know you all care about all of us so much. Praying for you all and LPM to have peace, and expectant antispation for what the Lord is doing.

Oops! I guess I should have made my reason for skipping the marriage, sex, and motherhood sessions more clear. My group consists of college students and most of them are only freshmen and sophomores. I also felt it was beneficial to my girls to end before Thanksgiving so that they can concentrate on their finals when they get back.

I will be there! I am going with my mom, my sister and my mother in law! I am so excited to hear what word Beth has to share with us! I am still remembering her words from last year about our anointing. I am especially excited to share this day with my family. My mom does not attend events like this very often (if ever!) and so I can’t wait to share the day and the learning with her.

In addition the ladies from our church will be there and I hope that God uses this time to refresh them and prepare them for the year ahead. Our beloved Pastor is retiring in January and we have a long year ahead of us.

Can’t wait until tomorrow! I better go pick out what to wear!

That’s not fair! Not telling us about the new study or what else is going on at LPM. You’re basically blogging to not tell us a lot! Won’t be in Phoenix, but I just found out that the ladies from my church will be going to the Living Proof Live conference in Boise, ID May 16 and 17. I was going to go on my own but looks like I won’t have to now! I know that’s a while from now, but I just found out they’re planning to go as a group today, so I’m excited.

Ok, I’m just guessing but I think this teaser might have something to do with couples or men…

Holy Father, we do love You and Your Creator power. It is just beyond my ability to think like You. And mercy, but I am so glad that You are like You are. My spirit is just a-tingle thinking about what YOUR plans are for this anointed group! Oh, that’s what I want for my life and for all my spiritual family, let us all be a-tingle with Your plans created especially for us! Bless Beth with words You give her to speak over this congregation. Bless this ministry to set sail…yes, Father, set sail. Give them the wind in their sails as You guide them to the destination You already have in Your sight. Oh, You are our Blessing! In Jesus Name. Amen.

I had two tickets for Beth’s pre-conference in Phoenix but had to give them up due to my daughter needing me here in Tucson to support her as she auditions for Christian Youth Theater.

My dear bible study sisters from behind the screen in Jenni’s living room will be there!! I hope that everyone in attendance will be blessed by the lesson!

Hmm…does your prayer request have anything to do with women with great hair, cactus and Bruegger’s Bagels? I may be way off base but am thinking back to something that Beth said while speaking at a LP conference in my state last December. I will pray that whatever is going on at LPM, that God will make his will PERFECTLY clear to every single person involved!

I was in Phoenix Friday and got such a blessing. Beth was super charged up and frankly wore me out! I had already been in Nashville the earlier part of the week for the National Women’s Ministry Leadership Forum and then flew straight to Phoenix for more women, women, women! I have seen and heard everyone in women’s ministry this week! Not only that, I feel like Travis has personally accompanied me musically throughout this week. What a treat… Great job Beth. Your messages spoke straight to me and I am grateful.
