LPL Tampa Recap Video!

Thankful to God to see the manifestation of His presence on these faces! Remembering today that He has poured out His abundant grace on us who believe, and has given us a new identity with the free gift of righteousness. Rom 5:17

For those of you who were at the Tampa LPL, do you remember when Beth said that she wasn’t sure if the journal that she patterned her prayer-approach after was still available or in print? It turns out that it is!Β  Here is the link: Prayers Of My Heart by Debbie Williams

hey Beth.. i just had to comment here, since the comments to your birthday post were closed. after reading Melissa’s birthday words to you, I was in tears. For a number of years now I’ve wanted to write you a letter, but not sure how to start or get it all into words. I’m sure I will tell you “the whole story” at some point, but for now.. I didn’t want to miss the chance to just say, after Melissa, that I love you, too. What a spiritual mama you’ve been to me, even though we’ve never met. Years ago when I did one of my first studies under you (Believing God) I was a skeptic. Since then I have done nearly every study of yours, a few of them more than once. I’ve followed your blog for years, done every single year of scripture memory since the beginning, done most of the summer bible studies. And I’ve attended any simulcast or LPL I can when you’re nearby. I don’t say all this to bring attention to my efforts, only to say how MUCH you have meant to me, how much a part of my walk with God you’ve been. How much I’ve grown up in Him as a result of your labors. There is no greater gift that you can give a person than to give them God (as much as we are humanly able). You have led me to Him again and again. What I have most loved is your steadfast devotion to His glory, His name, His renown. With Elisabeth Elliot’s homegoing this week, I’ve been thinking how much of a debt we owe to some of you women who have gone before and broken up the hard ground, done the crazy hard work of pioneering. You are a pioneer in many ways in our generation and what a host of women (and men, too) stand on your shoulders as you have humbly led. I know you get a lot of criticism, and of course, I know you are only flesh and blood, just a human like any other, but I just wanted you to know how thankful I am for YOU, how much I really do love you, how grateful I am for all your hard work, and your HEART. I hope you had a really special birthday and have been loved on a whole bunch with a whole lot of words (I’m sure your love language is tangled up in words, somehow). Thanks for everything and keep running your race! Someday I’m gonna give you a high five. πŸ™‚

I want to echo the words that Martha wrote. I am thankful to Beth for her devotion to Jesus. Through her love for Him she is able to share His word and pull us out of the pit via her own past and experiences. If it were not for her book, “When Godly People Do Ungodly Things”, I would still be in that pit.

Beth has no idea of the number of Christian lives she is leading back to Christ. It is not just non believers who desperately need to hear her messages.

      Thank you faithful servant!

Martha, I wanted to write something myself. Those words to Beth were what I too have felt for years. I’m thankful she’s allowed God to use her ALL for his work and glory and our benefit. I truly love you Beth. And Melissa, I’ve walked where you walked as a Christian many years ago. It takes awhile to find your heart again. But bless your sweet precious words and heart to your mom and pouring out your thoughts for us to share. I’m truly excited to see what Gods got in store for you in these next years ahead. Btw God brought a wonderful man to my life about 4 years ago and I couldn’t be happier!!!
      Happy Birthday Beth

Oh my goodness – this is a REAL answer to prayer. I have been searching the web – high and low – looking for a journal like Beth had described at the Tampa LPL. I Ended up on Pinterest…which led down one rabbit hole after another. Not that I didn’t acquire some neat tips on everything from how to make a collage prayer book cover to how to use colored pens to “enhance” my bible study. Thanks so much for sending this information!! I have already ordered the journal. YAY…you all ROCK!!

Now – if I can just spend at least half the time actually praying..Lord help me….as I have spent looking for this journal…all will be well with the world!! Lol…May Fod bless you richly!

I love your mom from afar yet close it really feels. My kids have always teased me that Beth was my best friend:) and so many times it has felt that way! My favorite memory is when our son had just come back from Iraq and was suffering through PTSD. Our sweet friends amber and Vernon contacted your parents and the next day Keith called my son, met him for dinner, took him on a deer hunt and brought your mom to the ranch he was working on to meet my son and gave him a pile of books:) not only did God use this in my son’s life but maybe even more in mine! If God had ask me who would you pick to minister to your son of course it would have been the Moore’s. I never expected it but it was a gift from God to tell all shall be well. That son is doing well now, a beautiful wife a 3 of the cutest kids in the world. Your mom also called me when I was at MD receiving treatment. So yay, I think she’s amazing! May God richly bless you this year!!

Happy belated birthday Beth. I also want to thank you for writing “Get Out of That Pit”. It was life changing for me & was the hand up I needed to let God pull me from the pit I was dumped in & spent much of my 50+ yrs in. I passed it on to a coworkers sis & prayed it would help her as much or more. Blessings to you!!

Thank you to Beth, Travis, The Praise & Worship Team and the many workers who helped pull this event all together & allowing God to use you to reach others. I always come back so recharged & seeing problems in a different “light”. I would love to have some music from the young (local?) men that accompanied Travis. After this tour are we able to purchase a video from The Event in Tampa? By the way, I gave my bible to a couple @ the bar in our hotel who had a lot of questions about what was going on that weekend.

Beth, our SSMT team is so excited to attend the LPM event in Cincinnati this weekend! God’s timing that we are also finishing your (our!) study of “Jesus the One and Only” this week as well. We have been so moved weekly as we draw nearer to the true Christ. In week five, you share a prescription from “Dr. Luke” for the victorious Christian life. The ladies loved it so much, that I made and laminated large “prescriptions” for each of them. I hope I get an opportunity to show you this in Cincinnati! :Live life one surrendered day at a time, Eyes to the east, Hands to the Cross, Feet to the path! In His Love, Judy Conn, Ashland, KY
