Of course, there is never any way for us to tell if an event is going to sell out, so we held back 15 scholarship tickets ahead of time. No doubt He is up to something in those attending this weekend!

Wow wow wow, that was incredible having 10,000 people there. I have never seen so many women in my life. My first time seeing Beth Moore and I was very impressed. My husband is from Wisconsin so I knew I would love her. I have heard about Beth when we lived in DC a and attended McLean Bible Church and then finally last night had the pleasure of going with 3 girlfriends. GOD again showed HIMSELF strong, using you as HIS Messenger and conduit!! I’ve attended several of your conferences and always come back challenged and I know that is GOD’S and your desire. The question that keeps reiterating in my mind, when you mentioned at 27 years old you went to a BIBLE Doctrine Class, went to your car and boldly told GOD “I WANT THAT!” Well, I attend your conferences and complete your studies and cry out for the same thing! Which brings me to my question, ‘what are your study disciplines/routines/techniques, for lack of a better definition?’ I don’t want to just read my BIBLE, I want to study HIM and HIS WORD…as Paul says, I want to know HIM and in John we’re told that IS eternal like is that we KNOW HIM. I want a constructed, regular, continuous/consistent time of study…I want to honor HIM and HIS WORD. Thank you for your example in allowing HIM to use you and LPM mightily!
Hi Jacqueline! Beth has a very consistent, lengthy time with the Lord every morning. She has different devotional guides that she uses. She is also always working through a book. This past spring and summer, our staff joined her and we used 2 different books on prayer– one was by Max Lucado another by John Eldridge. As she reads and studies those books, she is digging deeper into the Scriptures using their teachings as a springboard for more study for herself. When she begins a writing project, she studies that particular book of the Bible almost 6 months before she ever writes a word. She uses different commentaries and study aides to get several teachings on the Scriptures. In addition to that, she memorizes an incredible amount of Scriptures. I think she now has done over 30 chapters of Scriptures. She takes one or 2 days per week during her workout time and recites all of those Scriptures outloud so she doesn’t “lose” them. Not everyone has to do exactly the same things, but you work the plan God gives you and He will bless you as you stay in the Word. I hope this helps. Blessings!
So looking forward to this weekend! Been taking care of 7 and 11 yr old while Mon and Dad are in India adopting a new sister who is 2 yrs old. Also, Monday, my husband, who is so willing and encouraging, is our 4th Annv. He’s taking care of things to give me a break and praise God for bring this precious child into our family and a Godly manand keeping the floop waters away from our son’shouse in Ba ton Rouge area. .
