Hello, ladies! I hope it has been a wonderful Monday morning for you all so far. Yesterday a sweet friend whispered to me at church while I was singing, “The joy of the Lord is your strength!” And all the people said amen. I’ve been clinging to that truth ever since. The joy of the Lord is my (and your) strength. Own it, Sister! Amen!
I know we have some new friends visiting the blog since Saturday’s simulcast, and I know many of you are anxious to see the recap video that our super gifted and really good photog buddy, Rich Kalonick, put together. He works tirelessly not only capturing the entire event, but then gets to work immediately so we have these by Monday morning. A very quick turnaround! Thank you so much, Rich, for your hard work, yet again.
One more thing, for those of you that are asking, and for those of you that don’t even know to ask, keep watching the blog everyday this week as we have a lineup of posts for you all that involve the creative writing, the commissioning and the responsive reading from the simulcast! Wow, I cannot tell you how awesome my first Beth Moore simulcast was! I enjoyed it from Village Baptist Church in BEAUTIFUL Destin, Florida. Earthly words cannot describe how much I learned and took away–maybe in heaven we will have some better ones, don’t you think?
After the event ended on Saturday, I kept remembering how Beth had said she was led to pray for thieves. I thought that sounded a little strange and I began to imagine a gang of burglars awaiting us outside or maybe even in our group. I had forgotten about the thieves until in our Sunday morning worship. It was as if my minister, Dr. Steve Davies, knew I was wondering about this because in his sermon he said the following: (paraphrasing)” We are all thieves. We have stolen from God the blessings he meant to give us!”
And then it hit me, I AM THE THIEF. WE ARE ALL THE THIEVES unless we have chosen to accept His grace and live abundantly enjoying all he wants us to have.

Hi Peggy~ I’m not really sure what you mean by wondering if you found out if you won a simulcast? Maybe that is something LifeWay is doing? So sorry to not be of more help.
Beth, we watched the simulcast a week later due to a calendar hiccup. We enjoyed and learned a lot. I am on the core team of women’s ministry and there was several of us there. I bet you can’t imagine the e-mails that have circulated between us since. I would like to ask is there a place I could find the “grace test?” I must admit your object lesson on the “old man” has been tossing around my head and I could have throw him at my husband but because my husband is my best friend I had already shared with him Saturday evening about it. I did threaten to pull “him” out on Sunday and give him a toss. Then we both smiled and chuckled. The victorious thing is that “he” didn’t get to surface (this time) it has made me very aware of my nurturing spirit towards it and I want and desire to live under “Grace”! Praise GOD. So, my question, is there a place I could get a copy of the grace test!

I have heard so many people talking about the simulcast, and I am not one to miss such an event, but I totally missed it (boooo) and have been interested lately in little else but the message of GRACE! OH how I love to ponder GOD’S AMAZING GRACE! Is there anyway at all at any expense to get a copy of the simulcast?? Oh please say there is!!!
Hi Laura! We are not sure if/when the simulcast will be available, however, LifeWay has made the simulcast available for a month through their website. I think there are about two weeks left of that. So, your best bet is to go visit their site to get that. Hope that helps!
I , too, was journaling about grace a couple of weeks before the simulcast and felt as if God sent His very best to Charleston, WV just to talk to me alone about this very topic!! I would love to know if the simulcast will ever be available for an individual who had attended that day to purchase. Is this or will it be possible?
I was wondering where I could get a copy of the ending “prayer” that Beth read off so powerfully toward the end of her simulcast from WV. I believe it was at the end of the first afternoon segment. She was spinning out short phrases that built to such a climax. Is it in print or will she release it? Just wondering! Thanks
