Thank you! That sounds wonderful!
Thank you for that! Good to know.
I’ll “be there”…from Magnolia, Arkansas!
The hubby and I will be attending at our church in Shreveport, LA! I am soooooo excited!
Also, after reading your blog for so long…I started my blog!
yeah!! We’re a host church in Wichita and we’re sooo excited! Wichita Siestas, represent!
My husband and I are attending here in San Antonio and are soooo excited. We are praying for all of the wonderful speakers and all of the attendees.
My husband & I would love to go – as would several friends, but just can't afford it. We can't understand why the ticket prices are so high when the church is freely providing the site? It's understandable when a big venue has to be rented for the live event but seems like the simulcast tickets could be more moderately priced so more couples could take part in what looks like an incredible encouragement for marriages everywhere. We will be praying for all the speakers and that God opens hearts and uses this event to strengthen and build life-long marriages!
Seriously, how about that tartar sauce recipe?
I’ve seen advertisements for this. Oh how I would love to go. Sigh. Not gonna happen though.
I’ll be praying for Mamma Beth and those who will be there. Enjoy!

Love Gary Thomas’s Sacred Marriage! I’m reading Sacred Parenting next.
O this sounds like such fun and a time to refresh marriages, young and old alike! What’s really good is that our simulcast site is only about 8-10 miles from where we live in Corryton,Tn. I just asked my husband and he said if after bills the money is there we can! Pray! Love ya Carla
Already got our tickets and can’t wait!
thanks, from Albuquerque 🙂
Yay! My husband and I are attending the simulcast at Walnut Creek Presb. church in Walnut Creek, CA. Can’t wait to sit and learn under such fabulous teachers.
Melissa and Paul in Concord, CA
Thanks Amanda,
Looks good, we will try to make it to one of the local simulcasts. Maybe I’ll surprise my husband with it! Thanks for putting this out there, I had no idea.

Saw this in our church bulletin–and wishing I could go sit in the audience! Del Tackett is a friend of the family and an amazing teacher. (I’d recommend the Truth Project to anyone with a small group looking for something new to do.)
Not sure if I can make it, but if Beth wants to head up the road to Denver, there’s a Starbucks right near my house (and a huge shopping mall!).
Wouldn’t that be fun? A Siesta shopping day?!
🙂

I am “counting the days” until this event. At my request, my husband bought us tickets to attend for my Valentine’s gift this year.
This is a prayer request from one of your Siestas in St.Louis. Our church is one of the host sites for Saturday’s simulcast event. Satan is really kicking up his dust esp. in regards to people who stepped up and out to help organize this event at our church…we are talking serious medical issues resulting in emergency surgeries and extended stays in ICU fighting infections. Please cover these Godly men and women in your prayers this week – Satan WILL NOT claim any victories over us! Thank You deeply,
Kathy

Well that’s kinda a bummer I would have to go like 100 miles away to see this. My ride barely makes it to work and back right now… so I guess its not for me to see.
But I am lifting it and you all up in prayer…God is so great! Ain’t He?
How exciting!! I will be praying for the event. Have a wonderful week, Siesta sisters.
short notice…bummer
Going in Minot, ND!
Hi Beth,
My husband and I will be at the live event in Colorado Springs! I am really excited to have this privilege. Is there going to be a time we can meet you? That would be so awesome, since we are bff but you just don’t know it! 😉
I soooo wanted to go, but couldn’t figure out all the logistics in time. bummer. : (
Anyways I wanted to know if there is any way that they will be selling a video or audio of it after it is over? My email address is [email protected] . It doesn’t mention anything on the site.
thanks, jennifer
My church is hosting in Walnut Creek, CA and I’m lucky enough to be the coordinator! I am so blessed that my church has given me the opportunity to use my gift in event planning/coordinating. I spent some time this morning praying with a friend over the event. We specifically prayed for the protection of the speakers, for good rest, safety for travel to Colorado, and the inordinate blessing of the Holy Spirit to descend on them and their mouths would utter only words ordained by the Spirit! Mama Beth has been on my heart for this event. Those men who haven’t heard her teach will not know what hit them! WOOHOO!!!!!
We are new to Walnut Creek and I am looking for a church that sues Beth Moore bible study. I noticed your note about it in Feb. Could you email where you worship? Thanks, katherine (Laura Primus)
Got our tickets a month ago. Can’t wait to see you “in” Hendersonville, NC!
I’m also excited about my being there to hear your wisdom. He’s heard me quote you many, many times over the past several years. : )

We are expecting our first grandbaby in June and on friday we found out it will be a little girl and we proceeded to make the final arrangements for a trip to the Outlet Stores to buy baby clothes this coming saturday. Sunday in church we heard about the “Focus on Marriage Conference”. My husband mentioned that I would be missing an opportunity to hear Beth Moore speak by going shopping…I answered that I thought Siesta Mamma would give her blessing for us to go shopping for our Grandbaby girl instead of going to the simulcast and he agreed!
My husband and I will be going! Can’t wait!
Our church in Paducah is a host church!! I’m blessed to pray for the event. God is good and His love endures forever…and so should our resolve to keep our marriages holy. Blessings to you!
I’ll be praying!
love ya!
My husband and I are going in Indianapolis IN. Can’t wait! 🙂
ey Momma Beth! sorry its been so long since ive been on this blog! School has been CRAZY! Anyways, just wanted to check in!
Hey Beth!
It was great today! I didn’t mind that you said “hind end!”
Thanks for being there!
My husband of 31 years and I participated in the Focus on Marriage Simulcast and enjoyed it greatly. We joined in from Midland, Texas. After years of my participating in all of Beth’s studies beginning with a Woman’s Heart God’s Dwelling Place 10 plus years ago, my husband finally got to be at one of your conferences. He was impressed and blessed by your transparency. By the way, he is a hunter, fisherman, sports nut too. Even though it’s not my thing =), his love for them is one of the things I enjoy the most. I am also usually sooo ready for deer season to be over. My pastor calls opening weekend, Redneck weekend, my husband and sons think it’s a religious holiday. =) Thanks for the blessing!
I just returned from this event and it has changed my life. Thank you to Beth for listening to the Holy Spirit and being so transparent. I needed to hear the words you had to say today. Praise God for healing and for miracles!
We have been married for almost 27 years and for the first time in my marriage, I am looking forward to seeing what God has in store for us.
When you spoke of your precious grandbabies…it spoke to my heart. When my husband sees our grandbabies (3 and another one on the way!)he hugs them, cries tears of joy and prays a blessing on them.
Thank you again for blessing me. Today was the first time I heard you speak and I look forward to many more.
Hi Beth
My husband of 31 years took me to the Focus on the Family Marriage Conference in Elyria , Ohio. Some VERY great friends invited us. It was fantastic. I loved your sincere words and was so blessed when you spoke of your grandchildren, We were blessed with our first grandaughter 19 mo ago and everytime we see her joy wells up inside. She brings all the best out in her Grumpy and Mimi. Keep teaching siesta…you have no idea how God uses you to bless the nations…Love ya

Dear Beth – Thank you for your transparent words today. My husband of (almost) 17 years today had to just about drag me to the Simulcast. We lead the Marriage Ministry at our church – but I was so mad at him – the last thing I wanted to do was put on my happy face and go to “church” this morning. I literally cried all the way through Gary Thomas until my eyes were red and swollen – not because his words were so movign -but because I was sitting in the pew having a pity party. When you came on and openly shared your heart – you were like a breath of fresh air. I hate to say I’m glad you and Keith have struggles – but I AM glad to know you and Keith have struggles. For crying out loud – if Beth Moore gets mad at her husband – then I can too! And, I can work through it with him and 30 years from now we can thank God that HE alone got us through to the point of holding our grandchild. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so dog-gone honest. I know when you serve in ministry, it is not always well received to be so candid – but I love everything you had to say. I really hope no one criticized you because all of us could use some more honesty coming from the pulpit. I hope you made it home safe and sound and ended your Saturday dancing the night away with your Keith.

I attended today Focus on Marriage. Although it was difficult to sit through the whole thing I stayed through it all. U c my husband had an emotional affair during my last pregnancy last year after 12 years of marriage. We r trying to make our marriage work, but for me it’s 2 painfull! Everytime I seek for answers and healing it just hurts all over again. I feel trapped in my marriage because I owe it to my children to work it out and I know this is what God would perfer. I am feeling so LOST!
Thank you Beth for amazing words. My husband so enjoyed “sitting in” while we girls chatted. I was so blessed by your honesty and have realized my expectations for my husband are way too high….unreachable. good is Good enough!!
Dear Beth, we were a host church in NJ for the simulcast yesterday. My sis-in-law and I were tickled pink for our husbands to “meet” you…and I so very much appreciated your clear, careful and humble approach to the fact that there were men there. Well said, Beth…
I was incredibly blessed by the day, but I want to encourage you specifically because your transparency touched me. My husband is a pastor, and early in our ministry we realized that if we were going to draw people to be real, we were going to have to go first. What a ride it has been, to be transparent with our church body over these 14 years! I think you were right when you said God would receive greater glory from your marriage “healed” than just great from the beginning. I’ve seen that in ours. May you have a sabbath somewhere today, and some peace and rest. I hope you didn’t get in any trouble – I for one was amen’ing you all the while, brave girl! I lurk on the blog all the time, but I think I’ll start saying hello… thanks for yesterday and for letting the Lord speak through you! Jen2n
I went and you were great. I have to tell your story about the wedding from the other side. My oldest daughter got married this past May and it was with great grief that I realized my ex-husband couldn’t even bring himself to speak to me on this special day in the life of the precious girl we brought into the world together. So yes, stick it out if at all possible. There is literally a world of hurt in divorce, and it is a horrible gift that keeps on giving. Thanks for encouraging the first-timers to make it work.

Thanks for having the courage to speak up and be real and honest.
It was good for the husbands to hear this “Beth Moore” that we talk about after Bible study.
My sister (LMFT) that people with like self esteem marry and I thought of that concept with your baggage=baggage marriage that you started out with.
Excellent – wish I could down load your DVD for our Fri am and Monday pm Daniel study sisters.
Not everyone can get their husbands to go.
This was a WONDERFUL event! My husband and I attended and Beth, you were our favorite! :o)
Oh, Beth, this one is for you.
(I am posting here bc I just HAD to tell you this, but there was not a better spot… AND… I was supposed to be at this marriage conference, instead was in the ER. but that is another story.I digress!)
So, just now, my 3.5 yr old son Caleb was sitting at our table chatting with Daddy who came home for lunch.
Your book “Get out of that Pit” was sitting on our table (gleaming a lot from it, by the way), and Caleb was checking it out.
Here is what was said,
Caleb: “Who is that lady?”
Daddy: “That’s Beth Moore”
Caleb: “She’s a pretty lady.”
Daddy: “Yes she is a pretty lady.”
Caleb: “… Does she talk?”
Daddy: with food in mouth, “m’hm”
Caleb: “Does she talk about words?”
Daddy: “She talks about God.”
Caleb: “…She says a lot of talking about words.”
Oh. I thought you would enjoy my son’s insight, pretty (and talkative) lady!!! too cute, right?
Darlene
My husband and I attended in Virginia. You were the best, Beth!! You said the things women needed to hear – good for you!
I am in my third DVD study of yours and all my sisters here love you!!!
Blessings!
