Oh the Products

OK, I don’t have ten seconds to be on here today. I mean it. Not ten seconds. I’ve got to write all my intros and outros for the Breaking Free taping so don’t even think about tempting me to linger. But what I saw on television this morning while watching my usual half hour of Good Morning America and putting on my mascara should not go without comment. Did you know that you can now purchase shoes that automatically work out your gluteus maximus when you walk? And that’s not all! You can now buy Splenda with a gram of fiber in it.

I’m just saying.

I would encourage some to try Stevia as a sugar substitute. It is an all natural substitute and there are several brands available. Stevia is derived from a plant and is naturally high in fiber. I fact I have read that four packets can contain as much fiber as a bowl of oatmeal. I love it in green tea and yes, I put it on my oatmeal.

Are you just saying that all of us siestas have a “regular” problem not to mention a large posterior? Hello, after the last story I told you about my XXL sticker advertising the fact, the least you could have done was not mention any antidotes to the problem! LOL! I’m just saying.

I need those shoes! I clearly cannot work my gluteous maximus enough. If you could see it you’d know what I mean. I hope you wouldn’t say “you’re right. You seriously need to work your gluteus maximus.” I might have to hurt you even though I know it’s true. So you don’t need to say it! None of the workouts I have done have really helped much. So where can I get those shoes. The thought that I could actually work them while doing housework! Surely they’d become a more acceptable size then.

This has absolutely nothing to do with “products” and everything to do with God working in my heart tonight. I’m off to bed, but just needed a word tonight from God. I clicked on James and Betty’s website to see this week’s webcast “Loving Difficult People (part two)”…agape love.

I’ve heard it before and remember the teaching from “Living Beyond Yourself”, but somehow, at the close of what has been a very taxing week on my emotions, this was the word I was desperately seeking.

Thank you, Beth, for the timeless teachings you present through the power of God’s Word and active Spirit living within you. I’ll be thinking of you and all those gathered in the coming week for the taping. As always,

    peace for the journey~elaine

Hope the intros and outros went well!!

Really? Spenda with fiber? Do you have to put the box in your coffee/tea to get the fiber?

And my gluteus maximus is still hurting from the workout it got during gentle yoga (which is by the way NOT gentle at all).

Beth, I pulled up your blog tonight and signed off, feeling a bit out of sorts but excited you will be in New Orleans filming the updated Breaking Free.It is a privilege to pray for your ministry there. I traveled from Austin each week for the preview series in Houston and the series is “dynamite”. Thank you! I’m now 59 and after a life time of “opportunities” for healing, the latest challenge in my life seems so “stupid” I thought the dark night of my soul over the past 11 years was beginning to transform into God’s light- what in the world???? I’m now facing financial struggles that just should not be in my life and frankly I’m fussing at God about this latest lesson. I’ve survived some of life’s greatest hurts and the fact Satan is now trying to bring up one more opportunity to defeat me is so irritating to say the least- so take my house, my jewerly, my china, my crystal, etc.- so what???- these are not important compared to my children’s lives and the generational issues which have been addressed and healed- Anyway, thanks for this chance to write and get this off my chest- please do not publish my comments unless you sense they are of value- I just needed a voice tonight- I do pray for your ministry in New Orleans and your on going ministry of freedom in our Lord- thank you and God’s great love over your life and those you love,A friend in Christ

God Bless you! I just know that checking your blog will do wonders for my well being in so many senses of the way! This post really made me smile! Thank you for taking that 10 seconds that you didn’t have to brighten up so many days! I just love you to pieces!

I envision a future where my house and car run themselves, my body stays regular, dinner cooks itself, and all I have to do is lay in bed and sleep all day while magically losing weight. ITS COMING, you know it is ladies!!

So where do I get these magical shoes? MUST HAVE!!!

I just did some research on those shoes. Anyone want to donate me about a zillion dollars so I can afford a pair? They sound really cool!
Who would ever guess that my “buttock muscle activity” NEEDED increasin by 9% anyway? No one TELLS you these things in every day conversation!

My friend bought those shoes – it takes time to learn how to “walk” in them and they aren’t that pretty on the eyes. I’m not sure about the splenda – will have to try it. I’m missing Beth in my studies – I am studying the Women of the Bibleby Spangler and Syswerda. It would be great if you could do a study like that!

I have heard of those shoes. I’ve also heard of ones that work your core. There was a girl at our health club that had them. They are almost $400, though! For tennis shoes! Gosh, you can buy a really nice purse for that!

And I actually have the Splenda with fiber in my little dish for my tea! It’s great! πŸ™‚ A little extra fiber is good for you…

Not sure which shoes y'all are talking about but I have just purchased my 2nd pair of Earth shoes (first pair from Zappos.com and 2nd ones on sale at OnlineShoes.com)that have negative heels which make you have better posture and work out your legs as you walk. I can definitely tell the difference. Be sure to break them in gradually. They have sandals, regular shoes & "tennis" shoes – just be sure to get the Kalso Lite negative heels. They are a little pricey but extremely well made. When you've had foot surgery and cannot get your foot in anything else, you're thankful to find something that works, looks decent and helps. Negative on the Splenda – not good for you.

Tushi toning shoes! Well all be! Maybe we can get a few dozen pairs of those for our mommy meet up at the park. Our leisurely stroll with the tots can turn into an acutal work out! The junk in our trunks will have a whole other meaning if they don’t work! You are a hoot, Beth! Thanks for taking just less than 10 seconds to share your favorite tid bit for the weekend! πŸ™‚

OH help me, rhonda. I just found your blog and I think I may lose sleep for the next year catching up on old posts! Beth, I have missed you! I did about four studies in a row, between this church and that one, and then started working and couldn’t prticipate, and yada yada yada. I have been in a real rough spot lately, knowing I am wondering around as far away from the lord as I have ever been, knowing I needed to FIX IT, but refusing. Then, the back page of Homelife had the ad for Esther, and God whopped me upside the head with it. There is no reason I cannot climb out of this rut, get off my butt and FIX IT! No one is currently leading a study at my church, FBC, HOBBS, NM, so I called my pastor and said “I wanna do that! I need to do that!” He said “Please do!!” So in January, we will begin Esther. I am not the leader, the teacher, the nuthin- I am the facilitator in that I will know where the DVD’s and remote controls are. Aside from that, I am drinking it up along with everyone else. I’ll probably puke the first time I greet the room full of ladies, hope they forgive me, but I am SOOOOOOO excited!! I cannot wait to get started. I am so glad God hit me over the head with that magazine!

    Hello,

This is a little off topic but still very much product related, not as exiciting as Shoes and Glutes and Splenda Fibre..but important none the less.

I was wondering if you could assist me in finiding a really well illustrated and very well written (corresponds to the truth of God’s word) Children’s Bible for a young girl around 8 who likes girl things and also likes adventure and action. Also one a parent would enjoy and learn from as well. I know I am not asking alot, am I?? πŸ˜‰

Would you be able to assist me with such a request or at least point me in the right direction.

Thank you so much for your input and help. IT is greatly appreciated. Lord Bless you all in abundance!

    Hey girls–

I’ve been fighting with my heel since June. Yesterday my podiatrist prescribed a pair of shoes that he called “rockers”. I went to the store to find them, expecting just a pair of shoes with more of an arch for support… When I heard the sales lady who owns 4 pair tell another lady that she “hasn’t lost any pounds, but about 4 inches” I said to myself SOLD!!! I walked to the end of the mall and my calves were already burning…. and if they heal my heel… all the better!!! LOL. One caveat… they’re not very cute…
