I am so happy to hear that you are heading in the direction of Girls ministry! I have two young girls, 5 and 3, who always ask me where I am going. I tell them bible study and they ask if they can go to bible study too! So very excited! By the time they are in their tweens you will probably have plenty of bible studies for them! Thanks!
BTW…went to the simulcast and it was soooo good. It touched my heart and spoke to me. Starting Breaking Free bible study on Tuesday. Thanks Beth! You have really transformed my relationship with God!

Welcome Lindsee! Thank you for stepping out and into these wonderful roles. Media is changing exponentially and how I love the thought of God’s word shared in limitless ways! Also, it’s been a wish of mine to have a teen version of your studies, Beth. God is good! I hope you launch it beyond “local” soon. In the meantime, I’m taking my 16 yr old daughter and 15 yr old sons through believing God as we speak. I’m adapting it to them as best as I can but look forward to hearing more about this ministry to girls. Thank you for your faithfulness to God’s leading

In fact, I’d like to purchase Travis’ CD, but the website says ‘product not found’ when I tried to order. I try again in a couple days. Thanks so much for your inspirational words Beth, you’ve helped me get through a very difficult time over the last three years.

I am so excited that you have brought on a beautiful new addition to your team. And, I’m even more excited that she will be reaching out to the younger community. My husband and I have been in youth ministry for about 10 years, and I see that age truly seeking God more than ever. I’m also so glad that you are starting with “Believing God”. I am working through it right now and I love it!!! Thanks for all you guys do, and all the encouragement you provide. You definatly have expanded my borders physicially and spiritually.

May God continue to richly bless each of you!!

    Stacey says:

Yayyyy I’m so excited for a teacher in girls ministry. I work with the youth in our church and see such a gap in this area. I look for studies for our girls in particular that are some what parallel to Beth’s teaching and can not find one. What I see in our youth is they do not know how to pick up the word of God and learn. Before I started Beth’s studies at the age of 31, neither did I. My heart aches for this generation, I so want them to get it before they are 30 something. Will it be possible to adapt the Bible Studies Beth has written to young girls? What a phenomenal tool it would be to have studies that mom is doing and the young girls at the same time. Would it be possible for the moms to learn from the study, young women to learn and then somehow pull the two together so the older could minister to the younger and vice versa to build stronger relationships between generations of women. To teach both to fall hopelessly in love with Christ. It would be phenomenal for each group to complete a parallel study and then bring them together as one group at the end to learn and worship together.

    Liz says:

I, along with my sister and mother, attended the simucast on 9/10/11. My mother, who used to do bible studies, sunday school, always at church when it was open – hasn’t attended church in approximately 12 years. She has become hardened and consumed with anger which is fueled by consumption of alchol. Just yesterday she said to me, “Attending that Beth Moore study and spending the weekend with y’all (myself & my sister) has put a chink in my armor. I am an alcoholic and I need treatment. Will you please find me some where to go?” Shocked an awed by this admission I have been helping her to find a treatment center and navigate her insurance. I am so thankful that by God using you to say what she needed to hear and the power of prayer and all of the worship music moved my mother to where she now says that she has a problem. Praise God! I am thankful – so thankful to you & Him!
    I LOVE YOU

Welcome to your official capacity in Siestaville! Its a thrill to see how God continues to expand and use LPM! I have a 13 year old daughter that I’d LOVE to have in your discipleship group… Only, we live in MS, and I don’t think we could drive that far each week. πŸ˜‰

Welcome Lindsee! I think this is a wonderful ministry that is so right for Living Proof.
I have a request already! Is there anyway that some of the material you will develop be able to be adapted to people with special needs? I am talking those who are mildly mentally retarded like my daughter who can read at a 4th grade level and who knows and loves the Lord but has no material to read or participate in.
I have asked this of other Christian leaders and organizations, unfortunately, they feel it is not their calling and ask me why I don’t do it – well, God has not called me to do that either!
    Just a thought!
    Rejoice!
    Amie

Talking about big hair and the Bible Belt which go hand in hand. I like to call the Bible Belt, affectionately, The Mascara Belt. My hair would never be coaxed into bigness and lately I have been trying to get the mascara right, but I still need lots of practice. I want to make sure I am presentable in January for the SSMT. πŸ™‚

on another note, love that we are reverting back to the hair! πŸ™‚ i’m going to have a little hair ministry myself tomorrow! πŸ™‚

so glad you are getting into girl’s ministry. we are starting a bible study for all interested 3rd grade girls in october and there is really very little material out there. so with the Lord’s help i am just going to model my relationship with Him to them and teach them all the basics and the books of the Bible and how to use the Bible. i feel very much called into women’s ministry and am leading the patriarchs right now and loving it, but this 3rd grade bible study will fill an unmet need that i feel God is wanting filled and until He changes directions this is where i’ll go!:) blessings to you all at lp! love, kimberly

I love girls all the way through myself. I had the funnest (which might sound strange and kind of is strange, because I bawled my eyes out over some things that are hurting me) time at Women of Faith: Over The Top, this weekend, cause I just love being around so many women! It was awesome! And I just must add that Andy Andrews cracked me up! He was great comic relief for me. I sure missed him on Saturday. I could have used a break from the tears and the lump that remained in my throat in between tears. I needed some comic relief. Anyway, about me loving girls. I have 2 of them and this post made me want to share with you something that is currently breaking my heart in my home. I am facing the challenge of raising girls when my husband works full-time for the Boy Scouts of America. My girls are constantly hearing, “Well, you can’t do that because you’re not a Boy Scout.” “Well, why can’t I be a boy Scout.” “Well, because you’re not a boy.” And, “You can’t do that because you’re a girl.” It does worry me, and just before I left for WOF my worst nightmare came true. My oldest daughter said to me, and this is a direct quote from her very lips, “I don’t want to be a girl. I wish I was a boy.” It’s killing me. I want her to love being a girl. I’ve told her that this is an issue, ultimately between her and God, because God made her a girl and He did it on purpose. She’s a girl, because she’s supposed to be. God doesn’t make mistakes, and I have tried so hard to point out to her all the really wonderful things about being female, but she just thinks I’m so weird. I’m so girly it’s not even funny. I’m a lot like you, Beth, when it comes to the girly stuff. I love pink, I love shopping. I love how all the women I know love coffee. I love so many things about women it’s not even funny! But she thinks we’re all weird. I’ve always encouraged her tomboyish ways, but now I’m not so sure. We let her play ice hockey for a year (until we couldn’t afford it anymore. It’s an expensive sport.) Then she wanted to wrestle, and now she says she wants to play football in junior high, and I’m just not so sure, after what she said, that I should let her play those traditionally very masculine sports. She has recently expressed some interest in basketball, which I’m trying to steer her a little more in that direction, since there are a lot of girls involved in that sport. I have no problem with her being athletic. I was a college cross-country runner for crying out loud. Obviously, I was athletic, but she likes sports where hitting people is encouraged and I just don’t know that I like that and I’m at a total loss as to what to do. I love her so much, and I want her to love every part of her as much as I do!

Welcome, Lindsee!! I am just now getting a chance to view the video as I have been tied more to my phone than my computer the last several days and I wanted to view you all on the big screen.

I am beyond thrilled to welcome you to LPM. I’m not familiar with you but you are darling and so easy to connect with. I love how God has prepared you for this position and how He laid it on Beth’s heart to bring you here.

I was brought to tears to hear you mention girls ministry. I have a 9 yr old daughter that knows Jesus but I so want her to love Him with her whole heart. I want to do my very best for this child and am always looking for ways to communicate with her about God’s love for her.

Thank you for your passion and love for Jesus! I’m looking forward to seeing more of you and all that God has planned.

Blessings to you and all the LPM staff!
