Looking forward to seeing you Aug 12 in Columbus. Praying my 17 year old daughter will come with me for her first LPM event. Preparing for a blessing!
God always shows up and HE IS BIG!
I loved it too! I thought that word to HOLD FAST was just for me but apparantly it was for 9399 others too:)
Can’t wait to host the Simulcast Coming Sept. 10th. If any of you Carolina Siestas are looking for one to attend we will have it at Brevard Community Church in Brevard, NC near to Asheville so come and have a blast with us.
Wow! The time in Charlotte was God ordained for my sister Holly and me. She won 2 tickets to the conference and our sweet parents paid for us to spend the night one block from the arena. 4 years ago (2007) I attended LPL in Columbia SC. Because of some very difficult circumstances my husband and I had just separated shortly before that weekend. God spoke through you then, dear Beth, to my very wounded and broken heart. The separation was almost 18 months and I am here to tell you that God restored our marriage as only He can do! (Psalm 126). Fast forward to Charlotte LPL 2011 – my sweet sister has been in a very similar circumstance marriage wise. She and her husband were separated for 6 months and had just recently reunited. H.O.L.D.F.A.S.T. was God breathed for both of us. When you said “God will never betray us” my sister wept as did I. What a precious time for us to commission each other at the end on Saturday. Thanks, too, for sharing about your “maverick” husband. This greatly encouraged both of us. Eternally grateful to you and our Lord!
Goodmorning KMac and blessings to you! I agreed to check and knew the person to ask…is there a video feed/Simulcast of LPL on the internet for Service women stationed in Iraq/Afghanistan? I posted an invitation to fb for LPL Simulcast Lubbock and a service person asked because they could not attend. π God is far-reaching. May be something for the team to consider if not available a link for those in the military serving overseas they could have a password to log-in if they contact LPL. I get Godbumps picturing a tent full of women in uniform participating in a Simulcast too. Yes LORD.
Yanna, you are so sweet to think I’d know about all that. π I do not know, but Lifeway would! They will know if there happens to be a host in the area (!) or whether there’s a live stream available to them. I have not heard of one. Check out: http://www.lifeway.com And call the Events Dept: 1-800-254-2022. Have a great weekend sister!
KMac Thankyou! You knew where to ask. π God is a busy God. After I typed you the question, I put on Christian radio…Casting Crowns Until the Whole World Hears was the song! Let’s get LPL to the war zone….literally. π Beware satan Siestaville is on the move.
Everytime I watch one of these recap videos, I just bawl like a baby as I see the faces of those precious women praising our Savior. So this time was no exception, I was worshiping and singing with tears streaming down my face…until my 2 year old little boy came up to me with the most earnest expression and said, “Bazoo!” Now, I have no idea what a bazoo it is, but the tears turned to giggles immediately! Then as I was writing this post, I noticed that my internet connection was broken. I turned around and my 4 year old had unplugged the modem and was using it for his cellphone! But all of this rambling is to say that God used this video to touch my heart in the middle of a chaotic mom moment! Love you Beth!
That song really ushers in the presence of the Lord! He is Holy and worthy to be praised π

Thank you Beth for letting God speak through you and sharing this incredible message! “H.O.L.D.F.A.S.T. God has set his love upon me” has constantly been going through my mind since last weekend. Thank you for reminding us of God’s amazing LOVE! Me and my momma had an amazing time and it was a blessing to meet you. Looking forward to attending more LPL conferences!!
Ms. Beth,
I would like to thank you. I just finished reading “So Long Insecurity”, and I know that God spoke through you to the others of us who have lived in fear, shame, and insecurity for a large portion of our lives.
God’s words are perfect, but it was your willingness to allow him to use you than made it so effective for me. It is very tempting to think I am somehow “different” and more messed up than other people (my insides vs their outsides) but your willingness to honestly describe your thoughts, feelings, and most importantly your weaknesses and vanity made it impossible for me to duck the issue or pretend as if I don’t know exactly what you are talking about.
I know you were lead in this by a God who loves all His children, and the solution is of course, in Him. But you could have chosen many different formats to convey His message. I am so very grateful that you selected the bright, harsh light of the truth. It must have been terribly difficult for you at times, and I wanted yo to know that I appreciate the sacrifice you made in the process of it.
The truth will, in fact, make you free; however it is apt to tick you off pretty good first. And it is frequently not pretty at all. At least, not a first sight.
Anyway, thanks again for being the conduit through which my God has given me (again) the very words He wanted me to know: I am valued and loved as one of his creations. He was there in the beginning, has been here the whole time, even when I couldn’t believe it, and He will be there always.
With much respect and appreciation,
Michelle Hawley

Experiencing Travis and the praise team sing “Holy” transports me to the throne of grace…as i worship it “rings my heart like a bell”…from the famous quote by Abraham Joshua Herschel…βFaith is not the clinging to a shrine but an endless pilgrimage of the heart. Audacious longings, burning songs, daring thoughts, an impulse overwhelming the heart, usurping the mindβthese are all a drive toward serving Him who rings our hearts like a bell.β
I was lucky enough to get to Charlotte last weekend. I am the second from the end on the first siesta picture, hair in ponytail flowered shirt ect. It was an awesome event. I hope you put a video of your teaching from the event in the store because I missed some of the powerpoints. Today is my Birthday too by the way, the first one since my mom died in December. Please keep me in your prayers. I have no one else in my family except my dad and he is in a Dementia facility. I love him though and take good care of him.
Hope to hear from you soon dear Siesta Mom,
Love
Donna
Oh my goodness!! This was my first time to a Living Proof Live event, and I am so thankful God allowed it. I just love being amazed at the timing of God’s Word and how it speaks to my heart at the very time I need it. Thank you, Beth, for being such a faithful servant of our precious Father.
To Travis and the other musicians….loved the music. I could just feel the power of the Holy Spirit all over the place. Oh, and Travis–my 19 year-old daughter says GO APP STATE! She will be starting her second year there as a NC Teaching Fellow this August. She loves Boone!
Dear Beth,
I absolutely LOVE seeing the videos from the conferences! I am hopefully attending my first in Baltimore this fall. A friend who has been to your conferences before has encouraged me to work through “Breaking Free” beforehand, which I am diligently doing every day, but man, is it tough! I have a lot of “stuff” to work through, but I guess if I can let go of some strongholds before Baltimore, my heart will be more open to the words God uses through you. See you then!
The Charlotte LPL was such a sweet blessing! The teaching was so powerful and will be something I will always remember! After the event ended Saturday, I went to SC to visit my grandmother who has had a stroke since I have seen her. I was very emotional as I visited with her, holding her hand and looking at her beautiful face- so changed by time and the stroke effects. She is very alert and aware, but her ability to speak is very poor since the stroke. She was having conversations with me and I was just thinking how much I wished I could understand what she was saying, because she was definitely trying to talk to me. The time came to leave and I kissed her cheek and told her how much I love her. She squeezed my hand and looked into my eyes and said “Hold tight to your babies.” in the most clear beautiful voice. After the words God gave you to teach on for Charlotte, you can imagine that I fell completely apart when she said that Sunday morning. In that moment, God set His love upon me again. After that I could not understand anything else she said. Grateful to our King!!
Would you please send me a copy of the Commission Statement from Charlotte’s event?
Hey Catherine, I will forward your request to our Resource department. (support at lproof dot com)
PRAISE THE LORD what a weekend with Beth. She blessed my heart with Holdfast God has set His love upon us. I needed that so much. Thanks Beth for always doing and saying what Jesus needs us to hear. You are a true Blessing and I love you!!! Keep up the fight and don’t step down!!!!!!
Watching this video about Charlotte reminds me that scripture is so powerful. It never returns void. It accomplishes what it is sent forth by the the Lord to do in our lives. I love being loved by Him like that! He absolutely cares about what goes on in my day to day, and He has a word to say about my day to day every day! Love it. Love it:) Love Him:)
At the end of the event Beth had us say a prayer over each other. Is it possible to get a copy of that prayer?
Thank you,
Martha Frang
Dear Beth,
Praise the Lord for such a wonderful birthday gift. I asked God to allow me to see you up close and in person at the Charlotte, NC Bible conference. God, as usual exceeded my expectation. He allowed you to give me a hug as a birthday gift after completing a Siester photo. I am so happy to serve a living and a loving God. May God continue to enlarge your boarders. May His grace and mercy be with you always.
Is it possible to have a copy of the prayer we said at the end of the event?
Blessings
Vernessa M. Mitchell
I sat down with God that weekend! Praise His Holy Name!! Thank you!

Psalm 119:130 “The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.” NIV
I am a little behind – I have two more to record.
Tanya Moore, Somerville, TN
James 1:19-20 “My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.” NIV
James 1: 22 “Do not merely listen to the Word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”
Now, I’m caught up! π
Well, it is already August the 8th but I still say, H.O.L.D.F.A.S.T. God has set His love upon me everyday. This reminds me that He loves me and I learned through the Charlotte conference that I must holdfast to Him so close as to not even let air pass between God and me, I have already had to use this new knowledge more than once since then to endure the mental and emotional trials that have passed my way to keep me focused on the fact that no matter what I can always depend and trust my Father. Thanks Beth Moore for allowing God to use you to help others. However, to God be the glory.
I have been to many LPL events, but the Charlotte one is my best yet. I sensed the Holy Spirit’s Presence moving in and through the whole weekend – from beginning to end. Thank you Jesus and thank you Beth!
I loved seeing the video – most of the time I was taking notes madly and wasn’t taking in the arena and other things going on, so this really brought me back and let me experience the big picture. Thank you!
I am trying to find the woman of God that prayed with me on Saturday in Charlotte. Her name was Kathy, and she came from Nashville, TN. She has a grown daughter who is 31, and is probably around 58 years old…She had a profound impact not just with her prayers, but her enfolding my hurting places. She prayed with me about the confusion I am going through from separating from my husband of 34 years – a charming controller and verbal abuser. If she would be willing to talk again, please allow my email address to be given to her.
with gratitude, Rita
Rita we are thrilled to hear how the prayer person was so helpful to you! Unless she is a Siesta, and reads your comment, I don’t know of a way to find her. She was likely a volunteer from the Charlotte area. Thankful to hear the Lord comforted you through her prayer!
