Hey, Darling Things!
With great joy the Living Proof Live team and I hit the road again for our 2011 dates starting next weekend and we are revved up and ready to jump on anything with wings. Over the last eighteen months I’ve tried so hard to make some wise changes to my (almost literally) back-breaking schedule. One of the biggest alterations is that we decided not to launch the LPL travel schedule until the end of our Tuesday night series so that I wouldn’t be trying to juggle sixteen gillion things at once. It was a really great decision and I have never enjoyed my Tuesday night group more. They’ve gotten to be the chief focus at LPM for weeks and I will be so sad to see the series end. The only downside to the decision is that I have been off the road for longer than usual and away from my beloved praise team and LifeWay event team. We are all really good buddies so we are itching to be together again and do what God has called us to do. I got to have Travis and Angela and part of the team for a great Tuesday night here in Houston or I wouldn’t have made it but I haven’t laid eyes on the rest of group since the first week of December. I’ve missed them so much.
We are BESIDE OURSELVES to start our 2011 schedule in the Great Northwest. We will hit Tacoma next Friday, March 11th, as one very happy group of Jesus freaks. (My printed calendar actually said Seattle but God knew!) God began speaking to me just three days ago about the subject matter. In fact, I have a white envelope that I keep in my car console for blotting my lipstick (it wasn’t premeditated) and God started pressing on my heart so strongly about that event that I pulled it out at the stop light and started jotting down themes right there between four shades of pink. Michelle saw it when she was helping me get all manner of stuff out of the car and made a funny face. I said kind of sheepishly, “Notes for Washington.” She grinned and said, “I get it, Ma’am.” I love it when God starts shedding light on the messages because that’s when I know for certain – for absolute certain – that He scheduled the event and it wasn’t we. Lord, have mercy. That’s our worst nightmare. Nothing like showing up and He doesn’t. That’s when you know you missed something.
So, Tacoma first.
Then we break April open with a trip to Fresno, California on the 1st and 2nd. We love us some California! We are looking forward to a whole lot of Jesus, some gorgeous weather, great worship, lots of Bible study (please, Lord), and at least two rounds (and probably two pounds) of In-N-Out Burger. Seattle-country makes me think coffee. California makes me think Animal Style Fries. I have some great friends coming to that one that I’ll get to see afterward. (I am no fun in advance. Too intense. You never have to worry whether or not we take our jobs seriously. There is considerable angst involved. But afterward, if we’ve had time to catch our breath and get something in our stomachs, we are free to laugh our heads off and rejoice in God’s grace.)
THEN, we head to Little Rock. Back home to Arkansas. Both of my sisters will be at this one. So will some of our childhood friends. More than anything, I want to meet Jesus there. Just where I first met Him many years ago. My heart is especially tender toward this one as those rolling hills draw my soul. I think about it almost every day.
So, it’s almost time to pull out the LPL suitcase again and I’m just weird enough to be glad. It’s been so good to have a nice long season at home and I will definitely do it again next year. But somewhere in the distance I hear a voice saying, “Please make sure that all carry-on items are stowed either in an overhead compartment or completely beneath the seat in front of you. If you are seated in an emergency exit row, please read the information on the passenger safety card which is located in the seat back pocket in front of you. If you do not meet the criteria for seating in this row, or if you do not wish to assist in an emergency (you lame gnat), let a crew member know and we will be happy to re-seat you. Prior to departure from the gate all cell-phones must be turned off and stowed. Once again, we welcome you on board.”
Ah, yes. And that’s when I shoot out my last text to AJ and Lis and try to power down before I get in trouble.
I’m so hoping to see some of you Siestas in one of those three great cities. Anybody planning to head either direction? Even if these events are way off your radar, I’d give just about anything if you’d take a moment and pray for our 2011 Living Proof Live events. It would make a world of difference. Oh, man, we so want to honor God and give Him great glory and spread the fame of Jesus Christ. We want to keep learning and keep growing and keep seeking and keep finding, alongside every woman He sends our way. We have nothing without Him. Not one thing. If we quench Him, we’re croutons. Please pray for our hearts to be pure and our egos to be small and for our God to be huge and make His praise glorious.
I love you guys.
Let my prayer come before thee: Incline thine ear unto my cry. psalm 88:2
Lord, thou has been our dwelling place in all generations. psalm 90:1
Thank you so much for my ticket! I called Kimberly who was a pure joy to talk to! I love you all so much and pray for you. I wish I was getting my roots done also, they are almost two inches long! Yikes, it has been since before Thanksgiving! I miss you all and you Beth, you just don’t know that you are my BFF! Haven’t seen you since Portland, Oregon and are so excited! God is going to fall, just you wait and see! Love you, be safe on the plane and you too, Michelle! Can’t wait to see your hair, (really, Experience the Hair)! :)Love you-
Lisa (formerly of Kirkland, now from Bellevue) (I sound like a rock star….)
You are hilarious – did you really just recite the stewardess from memory? Oh, yes you did! 🙂 too much, it’s just too much!
Beth,
Seattle women of God await your arrival this weekend with shouts of praise. We’re so excited to have you in our great city where our Magnificent Jesus loves us.

I cannot wait for LPL tomorrow In Tacoma!!!!!
I am praying for Tacoma!!!!
We will see you in Fresno!!! yeah!! I bought tickets for my daughter Candace and my son’s fiance Michelle for Christmas presents. Michelle is a parapelgic in a wheelchair so I didn’t quite know how to register for the hanicapped seating… so I registered us all as handicapped because I didn’t want to be separated from her..oh well excited!! this is Michelle’s first time to see you live. Praying God gives you the Word you need to speak in Tacoma tonight and in Fresno on down the road.
As I’m talking with the Lord, preparing for this wonderful day with 8 ladies I’m blessed to call friends from church, I am reminded that you, dear Beth, are doing the same on our behalf… I am humbled, thank you. Your passion for the Lord, and for all to fall in Love with our Saviour, caught my attention years ago and I’ve never been the same since. Now my beautiful daughter will also be going as she enters in this new stage of her life… been married 1 yr and is now 10 weeks pregnant, joy dampened by the 24/7 yucks. But I know that the Lord will minister to her in a way that will make that diminish, and her joy will overflow with the hope of her future. Bless you and all who are making this happen!See you tonight!
Beth, Where do you go in Arkansas and when are you going to be there. I have family outside of Fort Smith and may be there sometime early summer. Would love to see you.
Praying for you!
Love,
Shirley
Sending prayers up to heaven for safe travels and for a fresh out-pouring of the Holy Spirit at the event tonight and in the coming weeks!
The Journey Continues ~

Be still my soul ~
With “Heaven Bound” blessings,

PS We are safe in California after the Tsunami evacuation on our street.
I just returned home from a much needed 24 hours of refreshing in the Lord! Tacoma was awesome! My husband and I love punning and I got a kick out of the word the Lord gave to you for Tacoma, Take home a Word! (a.k.a. Tac – o- ma Word)
The Lord gave me a pun for you. We want a God Go! Not a man go. With a man-go there is always a pit in it!
Thank you again for for your listening ear to the Lord and sharing what he puts on your heart!
In Him,
Annette Barnes
Beth,
I am Jewish and I love the way you explain things from the Old Testament in a way I would never have thought them to be applicable to my life. I went to Tacoma with my Evangelical bible study leader and took home many words and loved it. A comment for you who are a wordsmith as am I. The Hebrew names, you are mispronouncing them and they sound really odd to me. If you read the printed name, EPHRAIM- Eph- ra -im, that does not translate to Ehp-ri-am. Abram is Ah-bram, changed to Abraham, etc. Jocabed is not that, it’s Yo-che-ved. Have your Hebrew expert check it out! Some things just get lost in translation. Keep up the good work! Love the videos.
Thank you, Myra! So glad you were there!
Hi Beth 🙂
I just wanted to share with you that I definitely got a word at the Take-Home-a-Word event – it was absolutely wonderful and stunning.
You had shared (forgive my paraphrase) “There is a situation where you are desperate for restoration, but it has not come. You have tried everything; there is bitterness on their part, and you have apologized time and time again. You have talked, discussed, begged for forgiveness and forgiven, even groveled and yet, there is still no resolution.
You have said it is unfair, it doesn’t makes sense, you don’t get it…
but He says “I will show you.”
You have done all you can do. You cannot change him. It is not up to you.
Give it up to the LORD and go in peace, woman.
Go in peace.”
Well, he definitely showed me! Much to my amazement and chagrin, the LORD showed me (with several confirmations) that the person I was seeking restoration with was dealing with personal ‘feelings’ towards me. What a shock! No wonder restoration was not happening as I had hoped! I am waiting on the LORD to see what He will do, since He said I have done all I can do.
Thank you for allowing the Holy Spirit to speak through you – May G-d bless you richly in your ministry.
I have been out of town and have missed your blog sooo much. So, I’m catching up. ‘Croutons’?? Love that, I do not want to be a crouton either! I was in the Houston Airport on Sunday and did look to see if I might spot you!! Praying for your teams and God’s mighty Spirit to be all over the place where you speak of Him! Blessings to you.
Oh Beth, I’m praying. I’ll pray for you. For Priscilla, for LPM. I pray those things for all of us. “We have nothing without Him. Not one thing.” You said it. That is so true. I think that it has taken me awhile, but I am so grateful to the Lord to reveal to me the simple, but completely profound truth that He is what I need. His affections were set on me, and now my total heart affections should be set on Him. I want to love Him, Beth. Deeply and in an ever-growing way. You love Him like that. He has been everything to you. You have loved Him, and you have loved by the Father-John 14:21 And while we were yet sinners, He died for us. What kind of love is that?! He should be our deepest heart desire.
Blessings to you today, Love in HIM, ((HUGS)):)

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7 NIV

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
Romans 12:1-2 ESV
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing, you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Hey Beth and girls! I just prayed for ya’ll and the LPL events. As I live in Minneapolis, I will be at that event in May and I’m bringing a friend who’s never been (nor has she done one of your bible studies!) I so pray God moves big there and she along with thousands is rocked by HIM. Thank you so much for your ministry and for the way you inspire us ladies to LOVE Jesus and God’s word. I am
blessed over and over again in your bible studies. I am ever grateful…
much love,

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

For the Lord God is a sun and a shield:the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he wihhold from them that walk uprightly. Psalm 84:11 KJV

Romans 8:9-13
“You, however, are not controlled by the sinful nature but are in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it. For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.”

Thank you thank you Beth for inviting us to memorize HIS word…..a blessing…such a blessing. Prayers are continually with you….STAND STRONG!
