Oh my goodness gracious, Beth Moore. I love you, and I’ve never even met you!! But I am a siesta and faithful spirit filled follower of our Lord! I LOVE a good story. Cant wait to get my hands on this one!!!
I’m so very excited that your dream has come true!! I’m sure it will be a blessing to others as well. You’re one very gifted woman of God and I’m blessed to call you my friend xo
Beth,
Strange how you have never done this as you are a natural story teller and to read you is a comfortable over coffee narrative that would make a story line easy to read and devour. Can not wait to read.
I can understand on a minute scale, your not being able to get it done. I have the same but much smaller struggles. I have these small writing assignments like sketches and short devos etc and deadlines for submission but always my story of our family and our struggles with so many serious health issues and depression and family dysfunction etc. It is a story that needs to be heard. Not so much what we went through as a family but that we survived intact at all. That in itself is a miracle and would give others so much to hope for in their struggle in life and how you are never disappointed in Jesus. He has always been just what we needed on every front even though we did not always know it. Always though this story gets pushed back for other pressing stuff! You gave me a great idea. Put a deadline on the project and work to finish!
Getting back into the Word again and totally loving it comes later in the story and it was the Daniel study that sealed my fate as a devoted and ardent student of the Word of God once more and wow has it been fun!
Can not wait for the publishing date and the roll out!
Love,
Betty
I am so excited about your novel! You are so blessed with the gift of words, and it will be a real treat to know I wouldn’t have to skip any pages! (i always try to make certain the book I Would like to read is uplifting, but, boy,oh boy,it is amazing what an author or publisher can suddenly sneak into a book…….just like the movies with the shock value? No need to even be there, scenes.
I am beyond thrilled about this exciting news! Congratulations! I will be so happy to get that beautiful book in my hands. I, too, love a good story and reading is probably one of my very favorite pastimes. You bless us so with your many gifts. All of us who study under you are grateful. xo
Looking forward to The Undoing of St. Silvanus. Congratulations, Beth, on your first novel! I have to admit that a tiny part of my interest in this novel is that my father’s name was Silas.
This tickled me!! Like giddy little girl giggles…I’m so happy for you and can so relate to this writing journey you’ve been on. Writing what God places on our heart, whether fiction or non-fiction, Bible Study or Biography, short story or novel is the essence of dependency on Him to use us in powerful ways! The journey is far more exciting, awe inspiring, and faith building than the destination. I am so excited to read it. You have always encouraged me…more than you realize, and that, my friend, makes it that much more beautiful.
Encouragement and blessings to you and your ministry and your continued faith based journey,
Tabitha
I cannot wait!
You encourage me everyday of my life! I just love your passion! You have caused this stirring in my soul for the Lord that I cant keep quiet! So for that I pray for you everyday! Just Grace!
Love in Christ – Cammie (from Pasadena)
Whoo-hoo! Cannot wait to read your novel! Love that God gave you this writing gift and expanded it into you writing a novel. Waiting eagerly for the September release. π
I also LOVE a good story, and who in their right minds will be able to resist one written by you? Yet not even a tiny HINT of what this is about? Aaaaarrrgh! Praise to Jesus for guiding your hand in this and giving all of us the gift of a novel written by one of His true servants. **
I am so excited for you and your dream coming true! And I cannot wait to get my hands on this, like I cannot wait to get my hands on your next study! Whoo hoo God bless you and all you do and everything you put your hand to! You are a precious sister in the Lord and I love you even though I have never met you. This is truly exiting! Come On September!
That is really something! God has gifted you in so many ways and you, Beth ,have allowed Him to bless so many through your faithfulness to use what He has given you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Congrats and way to go, Beth, for following your dream and trying something new! I’ve always written non-fiction and am not sure I have enough imagination to write fiction — but who knows, maybe one day the kernel of a story will come to me and I’ll give it a go. So exciting that you did! π
Congratulations Beth! Now I can’t wait for September to be here. I look forward to reading your novel. You have such a way with words. You are such a blessing!
Love you Sister!
That’s a fun thought. Can’t imagine her writing a novel without the dogs or many dogs in it but if she didn’t include dogs would she now beat herself up about it? I hope not.
I know I have felt like a dog most of my life through a shame identity. But God (the opposite spelling of dog, God spelled backward is dog.) through Beth and others like her speaking God’s Word have help me to see that God through Jesus Christ has made me the daughter of the living kingβ€οΈ There is no one like our God! His mercy triumphs bc Jesus took the just judgement we deserved! While we were still sinners Christ died for us. He proved his love to us may we prove our love to him by speaking his truth esp what he did on the cross for us, to make us alive and new forgiven n accepted…. Hallelujah what a Savior!!!
Wow! Cannot wait to read it! How on earth have you had time to do this in between writing all the Bible Studies plus hosting seminars/workshops all over the country! God has truly blessed you with incredible talent and energy! Which in turn blesses all of us for sure. I am in such awe of your Audaciousness! You Go Girl! Blessings, DeLene
I love a good story more than just about anything! How fun is this and I’m floored by your ability to take on another project. And can we just talk about how CUTE Vangie is :)))
Congratulations on completing your first novel! I can’t wait for it to be released. I’m sure it will be an exciting read. I’m looking forward to LPL Omaha in April. I will be praying for you!
Well that is the first mean thing you have ever done. We have to wait until September? Please at least just the first sentence. Bible says we don’t know if we have tomorrow…
Beth, such fun news!!! I can’t wait to read your new fictional book. Congratulations on persevering.
God bless you, as you bless all of us with your amazing talents.
Isn't "siesta" the Spanish word for nap? Yes! Then why are our LPM blog readers called siestas? One time Beth typed out the word "sistas," referring to our blog readers, and her spell checker wanted her to change it to "siestas." The name stuck! You can read about it here. If you read this blog, consider yourself a siesta! It's just another word for sister.
SO exciting!! I’m so proud of you for sticking with it. I can’t wait to read it! π

Hi Marian, Thank you for joining our excitement. Release date is Sept 20, 2016.
