Happy Mother’s Day, Moms of all kinds! This post is especially for those who could stand to feel a little happier in their mothering. Below you’ll find the link to the file I reference in the latter half of the video. Watch it first so that you’ll get the context. This little video is not slick or well-rehearsed but it comes with earnestness and love. May Christ continue to perform miracles in your family and in your home. Nothing is too difficult for Him.

You are highly esteemed around here!
Another report on how very much this post and video has impacted and helped them…being sent by email to many! Thank you so much!!!!
Thank you for posting this and thank you for loving us, for loving me as one of your siestas. Happy belated Mother’s Day to you. I am sorry it is belated. Warmest hugs to you Siesta Mama Beth.
We moved to a sweet little stone cottage off a dry canal on Lake Granbury May 1st. So first of all, can we all agree to pray for rain from Lubbock to Brownsville and all points in between? Thank you in advance. My husband, The Fisherman, would most love to have the dry canal and boat slip behind our house filled up with water for wetting his hook any old time he pleases.
I have not had time to read this until just today and oh how blessed I am by it. I am in a healing season with one of my girls. She is angry over all sorts of things – some of them are well deserved while others are about the way our life filters and lenses over our hearts tend to skew things until we believe lies all over the place. We are working through it slowly and I am praying for healing and new eyes for which to see her with and for her to see me with. This post resonated in my momma’s heart. One adult child in heaven, one adult child living far away in OKC, and one adult child whose heart is far from me these days. And still, I spent the day prepping my house and a fab meal for my parents and my daughter who joined us for dinner. Then both my step-children who were on the road two days moving one of them back home from Missouri texted me and wished me Happy Mother’s Day without a coaxing from their father. Sweet blessings to be sure.
So thank you Beth for thinking of us with heart aches as well as hearts full on Mother’s Day this year. You bless us continually.
May you be measured back fully all the blessings you give so freely from the life God has entrusted to you.
Blessings and happy belated Mother’s Day!
Michelle
Thank you Beth. Your words pierced through my heart today. It was truly what I needed to spur me on towards being the heart my children need while filling back up on the one who puts the LOVE into it, our dear Lord. Thank you Beth, for taking the time to think of all us Mom’s and share your cherished advice and Godly wisdom.
God Bless,
Stephanie
Beth,
I am just now getting to watch this video, and I have to tell you, it was God’s perfect timing. I am sitting here in tears as you prayed over us, because your message (& prayer) was EXACTLY what today and the last few months has been for me. Just days filled with so much shame, so many overwhelming moments of failure as I try to raise these two young boys or ours. Your message felt as if you had been a fly on the wall of my mind & aching heart and it was perfectly tailored just for me.
This wounded and weary warrior needs some SERIOUS Energizing from our Savior right now. There is so much shame and feelings of defeat here, I am finding it hard to even approach the throne of our Holy Father.
Thank You for listening to the Lord and ministering to a mother who feels as if it would be better to hide under a rock than show her imperfect face to her children and husband. Love you so much sweet Beth.
