Good morning, Siestas! I realize this post is a day early, however, as we said yesterday we have a really fun giveaway planned for you ladies so we’re doing a little flip flop around here. So instead, be looking for that not-so-secretive, exciting giveaway post tomorrow morning! Does it feel a little bit like Christmas Eve to you now? You know something fun is coming in the morning, but it’s still a mystery to you today. I love it!
Did y’all know that this weekend’s conference is the last LPL of the year? With all of the sobering storms that have swirled around in the Eastern part of the U.S. I have a feeling that the Lord wants to do something only He can do this weekend.
With that said, we have 20 scholarship tickets to give away thanks to the Siesta Scholarship Fund. If you have a desire to attend, but financially just cannot afford it at this time, please call our office toll free at 1.888.700.1999 during regular business hours (8:30 â 4:30 CST) and ask for Kimberly Meyer. If you happen to reach us while weâre at lunch, leave a message and Kimberly will get back to you.
We sure love y’all. Happy Wednesday!
From someone who lives in the Boston area and is looking forward to this weekend in Maine, thank you for your prayers for the east coast. We didn’t take nearly as hard a hit as New Jersey or New York and we are thankful for that. See you Friday, Beth!
Praying for all of you and that God will be the “Maine” event.
the crunchy leaves under my warm snuggly boots, with the smell of cool fresh autumn penetrating my nasal passages filling my brain with the Canadian winter ahead of us !!! love this ministry. :0) Yevette
Although I am a great fan of summer and warm weather, I look forward to the fall because it means Christmas is on its way and even though the economy has worked its diaster on many people I know, Christmas will bring the magic, warmth, and family together as only the presence of Christ can do. A time when many will choose to worship Him. Blessings to all.
Hi there ladies, What I love about fall. The warmth of the sun and cool breeze and the crunch of the leaves under my hiking boot covered feet, crisp jeans that haven’t been worn all summer and a long sleeve t-shirt that came from the bottom of the cedar chest. Makes me smile ever time I think about fall. My birthday is in October and we used to take trips to the Pumpkin Patch and it seems like every time was so perfect.
Thank you for allowing me share a trip down memory lane. God bless.

This week I can’t think of anything that shows God’s love through the beauty He gives us than the harvest moon that sends us to bed each night and greets us when we get the paper in the morning. I hate to see it wane.

I love watching the trees turn Colorado and enjoying a big pot of Chili!
My name is Brenda Bivens and I am blessed to live in KY where we have four seasons. What do I love about fall? I love it all!! It’s my favorite season mainly because it’s followed by Christmas when we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
What do I love about fall you ask? EVERYTHING! The Crisp fall air, the colors, the smells, the incredible blue sky and PUMPKINS! I love pumpkin anything and my favorites this year has been pumpkin spice chia latte and a weight watchers cake recipe with cream cheese frosting I have made several times so far. Blessings to you all this weekend!
What I love about fall, esp. living in Tennessee: orange sunsets and the work of God’s paintbrush on the trees – beautiful reminders that HE’S in control of it all!!
I love fall because it includes Thanksgiving. There’s an element of Thanksgiving that sets it apart from when we gather at Christmas. It’s something about the lack of the Christmas chaos that is gentle and sweet at this time of year.
What I love about autumn? Driving around looking at other different shades on the leaves of trees, a beautiful sight, I can’t get enough of that! The other thing that I love about autumn is that it promotes serious cuddling with hubby and daughters while watching some tv together. As we say let’s get toasty together=)
Fall is my most favorite time of year,,the aroma of cedar burning in the air from fireplaces in others homes,,the crisp air breezing thru my hair and upon my face,,refreshing,,the magnificent colors of the maple and oak trees turning to flaming reds, golds, yellows and burgandy,,,playing in the leaves,,having a bonfire with a host of friends encampeth about,,wearing cozy clothes,,and having my baby girls birthday in October,,one week to the day before Halloween,,(thank you Jesus),,and that is most of all why I love the fall,,for you see,,my little girl was born dead,,and lives to tell the tale!! When she was born,,her heart valves were not working, she could not breathe or suckle,,so they went in and used a little saw to cut her ribs to get to her heart,,and she is like a little stallion today!!! She is so proud of her scar on her back,,she says it is her champion ribbon!! haha!! So,yes,,that is the main reason I love the Fall,,because she is alive today and flourishing in the health of Christ,,she is my baby girl,,and what I thought was to be lost,,my Heavenly Father proved to me that He would not let her slip thru His hands,,Love in Peace,,Susie Sterkel
AMEN!
Dear Lord Jesus,
I lift up our President to You in asking for his salvation.  You said that everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord Jesus will be saved (Rom.10:13).  Show him that You are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for Your help (Ps 86:5).  Help him to live a life worthy of the calling he has received (Eph 4:1). Give him a mind that is controlled by the Spirit of God (Rom 8:6).  Put Your words in his mouth and cover him with the shadow of Your mighty hand (Is 51:16).  I ask that whether he turns to the right or the left, that he will hear Your voice, that You will show him the way and help him to walk in it (Is 30:21).  Lord, we have heard of Your fame, we stand in awe of Your deeds, O Lord.  Renew them in our day, in our time make them known (Hab 3:2) so that all men may know of Your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of Your kingdom! (Ps 145:12)!  I thank you that no matter who resides in the White House, that You are still on Your throne.  You have established Your throne in heaven, and Your kingdom rules over all! (Ps 103:19)
I pray these things in Your most Precious and Mighty Name – JESUS! Â Amen!
Ooops – I somehow put this comment in the wrong post! Is there anyway to get my prayer included in the post about prayer for our President???
