Living Proof Live – Colorado Springs Recap

UPDATE FROM BETH ON JULY 5th: Hey, you sweet things! Thinking of you so much. This is my first day back in the office at Living Proof Ministries since our time together. I flew to Atlanta right after we said good-bye then served there throughout Sunday then came home and took a few days off. (Thank you, 4th of July!) I told my beloved coworkers that, as long as I have clarity of mind, I will remember our time together in Colorado Springs. God marked my heart with you. I nearly bawled as I watched the recap and was deeply moved to see a comment from one of you who lives in the city saying God opened up the sky and let it rain soon after. What grace of our Savior. I want to let you know that I kept my word to you and, with great joy, just signed a check to Samaritan’s Purse. I don’t want to draw attention to it in the larger public but I do INDEED want you who check in around here to know. I didn’t dare hold off any longer than my first day back because…

TO FOLLOW [JESUS] = TO FOLLOW THROUGH!

What I owe you now is a debt of love (Romans 13:8) and I will gladly pay it for many years to come. STAY IN THE WORD, SISTERS! I’ll see all of you at the Throne and perhaps some of you another time when we flip open our Bibles together. I am honored to be your servant. I love you so.

The rest of this post is the original one that our wonderful Lindsee wrote. If you haven’t seen the recap, DO IT!

Siestas! Here is this weekends recap video. We have already heard from so many of you that were able to attend the conference this weekend and how the Lord spoke so personally to you and we thank the Lord so much for that. He alone is worthy of praise! In the middle of much chaos, He is sovereign and able to speak truth, speak loud and bring healing.

On Friday, we shared with you that Samaritan’s Purse was going put all of their donations this weekend toward wildfire relief efforts in Colorado Springs. I know you’ll rejoice with us when I tell you that this weekend attendee’s raised $85, 591! Ladies, your generosity is incredible. Thank you so much! May God be praised!

    Beth,
I was so blessed by this weekend! I live in Woodland Park and had been evacuated the Weds. previous to the conference. It was such a time of refreshment to be ministered to by you and your team. We came back Sat. afternoon to find out that we were allowed to go home – PTL! But, the storms that had threatened in the way of a fire were paled by the news of the death of 3 Woodland Park High School students and their scoutmaster who were in a car accident returning from Wyoming. Our community is reeling as we buried the first young man today. The others will have a joint service on Saturday. Before all of this happened, I was in the place you mentioned – feeling like I was going through the motions, but not feeling His presence. I can stand today and say that He is in all of this in a mighty way and I feel His hand upon me and know that he has these parents and all of our hurting community in His loving, healing hands…where our help cometh from!

Oh Diane, I read the article about the boys & their leader in our local newspaper and it brought me to tears. I am so sorry for your loss. I’m sure that such devastating news in the wake of such a tragic event seems too much to bear. I pray that the mercy of our Heavenly Father would be revealed to you all in such magnitude. I pray that His love and comfort would drench you all, and you all would continue to know His peace, a peace which doesn’t make sense, but passes all understanding, and that He would guard your hearts and your MINDS in Christ Jesus. Amen

Follow Me = Follow Through…I applied the message 3-fold. My first Beth Moore Study 7 years ago was Living Beyond Yourself: Fruit of the Spirit which inspired me to start my own God centered fitness training program for women & seniors. I got it off the ground but soon after became pregnant with child #3 at which point, my business stopped having the impact I had envisioned. Fast forward to today… 7 years later (and this time leading the exact same summer study: Living Beyond Yourself) I am FINISHING what I started! Yesterday, I renewed by business license, updated my materials and am in negotiations with some corporate clients. I FINISHED another divine work today when I resigned from my job, giving 2wks notice to my employer so I can follow through with God’s plan. This will also allow me more time & energy to COMPLETE my calling as a mom and wife. Thank you for the message and the memories. My passion for God’s plan in my life is revived!

I have an incredible picture taken outside of World Arena Friday night before the conference. It was as if the gates of heaven opened up. Does anyone know if there is anyway to post a picture on the blog? It really is worth sharing.

    Beth,
Thank you so much for the word we were able to hear this weekend. I will be processing for quite some time. Figuring out all the starts that don’t have finishes, yet.

Thank you so much for coming to Colorado Springs this last weekend. I went with a friend who had been evacuated because of the terrible fires. My mother-in-law died the day before the fires. We didn’t want to go. We were so glad that we did. Thank you for reminding us that beauty will come from the ashes. It might be that so many people from across the country have been praying for our state, turning to Him, talking with Him. That is what He wants from us, a relationship with Him. I also wanted you to know that our area got a wonderful rain today and a double rainbow!!! The fires are 80% contained!! Yea God!!
Thank you for an amazing weekend!!

    Darla says:

Just days before leaving for the event we were being encouraged to give up our rooms for the evacuees, but having been evacuated myself during the High Park fire, I knew that was the enemy trying to keep me from attending. God is so good! My story is a long one, so I will just say that after being “seduced away” for a very long season that resulted in an abusive alcoholic relationship that cost me my children, my Father began calling me back 2 years ago when I attended Beth’s study on Revelation. Gently and sweetly, one step at a time He has been faithful to complete that good work which He began in me. My family has been restored to me, and I am now on my 9th Beth Moore study – but I struggle with isolation. After the Inheritance study, I became determined to reclaim “my property” and to use my past for his purposes, perhaps ministering to abused women, but…I knew I had a major thing to do first. Prior to this event, I had vowed to quit drinking on July 1, fearful that I could not. Follow Me = Follow Through resonates so deeply…All glory to God, as of day 4 it has been effortless, I am determined to finish this thing, that He might start a new work in me. Thank you Beth for your obedience and example.

    Christi says:

God gave us a double rainbow last night after lots of rain! It was SO beautiful! Exactly a week later from the night of fire destroying homes… I had to tell you. Full containment expected by Sunday.

    I have been:
+humbled that God knows the whys, whens, and hows and we don’t have to.
+reminded that He has a plan and a purpose bigger than our minds can comprehend.
+glad He doesn’t want to fit in box.
+so excited to read answers to prayer on this page!
+thankful that through His Word, He can lift you up while at the same time whack you with truth and an urgency of obedience.
    +so blown away.

What I learned: No matter how hard it gets, it’s the long obedience that’s needed…TOTAL release and trust. Also, I have to finish a project for tween girls. Can’t take the easy way out.

Thank you for coming, for being authentic, for loving God and loving us.

Thank you Beth, Travis and all of the team for a unforgettable Living Proof Live! I had gotten tickets for my 13 year old daughter (she has never been to a conference) and myself but we almost didn’t come down from our home in Buffalo, WY because of the fire. But then I felt God speaking to my heart that we should go and see if we could help in any way. We were blessed to be able to bring some supplies for the evacuees as well as being a part of the prayers for them at the conference. We also met 2 dear sisters-in-Christ at our hotel, one of who had lost her home in the fire. We were able to pray with them in the hot tub! God is good!

My daughter was a little overwhelmed on Friday night but by Saturday night she had so much to share with me about what she had learned! (We are going to follow through on following the Lord!) I thank God for you, Beth, and your team, for ministering to me so many times (through this event, others in the past and your bible studies) and now for ministering to my daughter! God bless you! 🙂

    Lauren Kitchens says:

Many thanks to Beth Moore and Living Proof Ministries for a wonderful weekend. I knew that I had come to the right place when almost the first words out of Beth’s mouth were, and I’m paraphrasing here, “Do you need a new finish – is there something that you would like to see finished?”. Thankfully I did not stand up, wave my hands and yell at the top of my lungs, “Yes. Yes there is!” like I really wanted to do. I managed to sit quietly and just nod my head. So I was hooked from the very beginning. The lessons from both Friday night and Saturday were filled with a mix of fresh revelation, as well as confirmation of things that needed closure. While I took notes and have since reflected back on some of them, one of the main ideas – Rapa – to heal; to make fresh; the process of healing; being restored, along with the later mentioned reference to beauty rising from the ashes – spoke to me the most in my present circumstances. One of my sons (he’s 8 yrs. old) was found to have a benign brain tumor at Christmastime last year. He has endured 3 surgeries to try and remove it, and will be undergoing his 4th tomorrow, July 5th. I know for sure, without a doubt, that this was intended to be the undoing of our family – for our utter destruction. And yet, in the midst of it, God has shown Himself faithful by not only allowing our son to experience wonderful healing physically from each procedure, but He ‘who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine’ (Eph.3:20-21), has also used the experience to heal each member of our family from something that was unseen, and would have gone uncared for and unnoticed, for possibly years. So while I say, “Yes” to the desire to finish this experience, I’m reminded of two important points Beth made – 1. We need to be more concerned with the Healer and not the Healing, and 2. We haven’t gone through the whole process until it gets used. I pray it does get used, mightily, for the One who truly is our great Comforter. And I know that great beauty will arise one day, from both the ashes on the ground in the Springs, as well as the ones in our hearts. Thanks for braving the surrounding firestorm to bring a wonderful message.

    Rebecca says:

I don’t know if you will do this or not and maybe I’m just a little crazy maybe  a lot . I’m in a season of warfare. The enemy always gets me with the thoughts I’m not good enough. How could a god that hung the moon love me. I could never be as good as other Christian. I have a hard time not listen to these words from the enemy. Does my sisters feel the same what lies follows them around I just wonder am I the only one.

      Emily says:

      Rebecca,
You are not the only one! Satan loves to make you think that. He may not be able to turn you away from God, but if he can stop you in your tracks, he will celebrate his success.
When i was struggling with this, God taught me how to make it through. Follow the example of Jesus in Matthew 4: 1-11. Every time Satan attempts to tell you those things, quote scripture to him. He cannot stand in the face of God’s Holy Word. Jesus replied to him three times, “It is written…” and a scripture that defeated Satan.
Memorize scriptures that prove the lies wrong:
      -God’s child -John 1:12
      -a new creation – 2 Corinthians 5:17
      -chosen – Col 3:12, 1 These 1:4, 1 Peter 2:9-10
      -protected – 1 John 5:18

I pray that God will open your eyes to His Word and set you free! (Gal. 5:1)

      Mary says:

Oh Rebecca, you precious one. Yes, we all can fall for Satan’s lies. He wants nothing more than to have us believe we are not worthy to be loved by God. Sweetheart, please know this; we are all broken and we can fall for those lies if we do not trust Father’s words of love and forgiveness. He wants nothing more than to fill you with His love and His peace to a level that we cannot understand. Try to surround yourself with some women of faith where you can gain further strength in the Lord. Start your day in prayer and end your day in prayer. The enemy hates when we are prayerful and he will run from you screaming. Hold on to truth, Rebecca. You belong to Christ, He loves you and will not leave you.

    • 61.3
      Jeanne says:

Yes . That is one of only a few tricks the enemy has, to try and defeat us by encouraging us to believe a lie. The best way to counter act the lie of the enemy is to follow Jesus example when he was out in the wilderness. Jesus quoted the truth, the word. Each time he said It is written: and then quoted scripture.Read Psalm 139 and start with answering every time you feel inadequate with what God says about you. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. To deny that is to deny your God. I know you love your God and would never want to deny Him so you are left with having to believe that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. God formed you, God loves you and He always will!

Shared with my bible study group about Living Proof being in Colorado Springs last weekend and that they were letting some of the victims in for no charge. We all attended here in Kansas City together in April and are doing Believing God right now.
I will share with them the monies going to help the victims of the fire. Our church collected money last weekend to send out to Colorado to help those in need.
Praise God for the rain and the monies raised!!! He is soooo good!!!!

    Marissa Burbank says:

Kudos to all who had a hand in putting this LPL together! My group came back so energized by it that the revelations keep coming. Thank you, Holy Spirit!!! Beth wanted to know the impact of her message. Please tell her that FOLLOW ME = FOLLOW THROUGH is something I say to myself several times of the day – and I have actually followed through on some things I have let slip. I am still studying my notes and rewriting them to present to our Bible Study class at church. It is too important and impacting a message not to share. I shared it with my 73-yr-old husband, who accepted Jesus just this last January 1st (thank you, Lord), and it lit him up – literally. I could see the epiphany happening for myself! I recently began a study on Romans based on John Piper’s audio sermons – all 153+ hours. As of last night I am in Chapter 1 verse 6. Every 15 minutes of John’s message takes me an hour to process – taking notes and looking up verses. At this rate it will take me over 2 years to complete this, working every day. I am not daunted. The Holy Spirit will see me through and I am eager to push on even when the passion is lost. It can be rekindled anyway, and what does that best but the word of the living God. Travis, your music is so inspiring. At the conference, my attention was caught by The Word of God Has Spoken, but now that I am listening to all the songs on the When the Stars Burn Down album, I am caught by Oh My Soul March On. I am sure others will jump out at me later. I am hoping the worship team at church will use some of these in the service to move other people to act as the Lord wills. Beth, that glimpse of God’s plan – from the beginning of time to the Day of Jesus – OH THE PLAN!! How big is our God? Unbelievably, stupendously, mind-blowingly GOD-NORMOUS!!! Praise His holy name. I love that we all finish on the same day! Can you imagine the sense of closure we will all feel TOGETHER? He is just so good. Praise God in His infinite mercy that He has chosen to make us a part of it all. March on, oh my soul, in strength! Hallelujah and Amen. Thank you all. God bless you.

    Teri says:

Thank you Beth for a wonderful time of inspiration and focus this past weekend in Colorado Springs.

Have you done a book/study on how life is a journey? How we are all here to travel the path with others, to learn through the various stages of life and to help others through their journey as well?

When you were talking about God’s hand not only working in us; His Hand also works through us that brought to mind the different phases of our journeys.

It seems we’ve become a here/now culture and need to remember we are ALL on a journey. And we can all help others and learn from others.

God’s great blessings to you always,
    Teri

Well I’m not at all surprised that you kept your word and wrote that check…cuz you’re like that! Travis said “Let’s scare Keith Moore with our giving!” I’m betting we did 🙂

Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the death of our 23 year old son-in-law. While it was a somber day, I was not devastated. I thought over and over again of the story you told of Keith’s parents and their remembrance of Duke, 53 years after his death. God has given us reasons to be happy again too. As I showed you my pic of my grandson on Saturday….He indeed has brought us beauty from ashes.

Hi sisters!! I need your help with a Bible Scripture. I’m leading a Bible Study on John. We were discussing the betrayal of Judas. Is there a prophesy in the Old Testament referencing the type of death for Judas?

Your help in this would be greatly appreciated. I’ve checked Biblegateway but I don’t know if I’m using the right word(s). Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

    Debbra says:

I will never forget this weekend in COS. I’ve hesitated on writing because it means I need to be transparent to people I don’t know (it’s hard enough for me to share with people I do know); but I can’t get it off my mind.

    Two things:

One – Beth’s message on finishing strong, oh my! I kept asking God, “What is it you want me to finish?” You see I’m a finisher naturally. But I felt in my spirit, “the bitterness.” I have health issues (severe allergies, leaky gut, and autoimmune syndrome) and I’m tired of it. It brought bitterness towards God a few years ago. If he won’t heal me then I’ll distance myself from him. I have not been interested in the Healer but only being healed! I’ve been praying for several months now “God, heal my want to!” I’ve felt myself coming back to God one baby step at a time and it’s now time I RUN to Him. I came home from COS and went into a revival at our church the 1st to 4th. It was so refreshing! The last night’s message was on running to Mt. Calvary where there is forgiveness and love and God’s grace versus staying at Mt. Sinai where there is guilt and judgment and excuses. I have been at Mt. Sinai for several years now and I’m tired of it. So I’m learning to Follow Jesus and Follow Through on my “Want To”. Heal me Lord; please heal me…with more of YOU!

Second reason why I will never forget this weekend – my 15 year old son told my husband and me on Saturday night when I arrived home that he tried to commit suicide!! Yeah, come home from a conference and have that bomb dropped on you. He too is suffering from the same allergy/health issues. He’s so far from God and wants nothing to do with Him. He doesn’t think he loves him because He won’t heal him. And the “finishing strong” message came flooding back to me. I felt the Holy Spirit say “Stop the bitterness as an example to your son that you can live beyond the hurt and pain.” If he sees me living joyfully with my awesome God despite the health issues, then maybe it’s an example he can follow too. I praise God we received a cry for help and that He’s allowing me to minister to my son. Praise God for his grace. I covet any prayers all you blog sisters may express.

Thank you sooooo very much Beth and Team for all you do for us women. I love you dearly and still wish I could have lunch with you. But as one lady wrote on the blog, I don’t even know you but feel like I’ve known you for years and years. I guess it’s all the Bibles studies I’ve done of yours.

PS… as I write this I’m singing Amazing Grace/My Chains Are Gone!!! I haven’t had a tune in my head for several years. Praise you Jesus. You are good. Breaking Free and looking forward to FREEDOM!

Is it at all possible to get a copy of the prayer our lovely God inspired lady had us pray at the end of the Colorado Springs conference? Was that powerful or what I ask? And in our beloved daughter of God’s words:

I would love see a post with the content of the pledge we said to our partners at the close of LPL Colorado Springs. I attended with my oldest daughter and said the pledge to her. I recall it was beautiful but I was so filled with emotion in saying it that I cannot remember all the words! Would you post it please?

  23. 73
    Wendy says:

Thank you Beth for your precious update note! We love you too and our weekend together will be “burned” in our hearts as well. Just so you know…God continues to send the rain. I’m sure that fire is contained by now. Just pray we don’t have flash floods and “landslides” now. More rain predicted for today. Funny how just a bit of water can make the dry parched land look so much more beautiful already! (Hmm…spiritual implications in there somewhere, huh?!)
Will someone please post our “commissioning” from Saturday as well as our photos with our friend Miss Beth? Would love to have both of those. Have a blessed weekend!

    Heather says:

My mom, myself, a good friend and her granddaughter had a wonderful time. We were not sure we were going to get there. We live on the other side of the mountains in Colorado and another fire had shut down I-70. We knew that Satan was trying to discourage us from going. My mom and I both prayed all night that if we were to go that God would divert the fire in another direction and reopen the road. He did just that. The one thing that stuck in my mind that Beth said was about getting beauty from ashes. I was not directly impacted in my home from the fires, but I felt touched by those because of somethings I have been dealing with. Two hours after leaving living proof I went to the Lifeway store in Denver and there hanging on the wall was a beautiful picture of a tree one half was beautiful the other half was ashes and fire. On the bottom it says Beauty for Ashes Isaiah 61:3. I bough the picture and it now hangs above my bed as a reminder. The Living Proof Colorado Springs truly was life changing.

Just a note to let you know I was also at the Colorado Springs event–very moved by your message Beth, and so thankful to God that He saw fit to lead you all to us that weekend. I was so excited this particular weekend to have my 9 year old daughter Faith with me–she loved the music and we sang with all our might. The message to finish well hit me hard as I walk into one more semester of nursing school–I’m 40 years old and will graduate in December. It’s been one tough road, but God reminded me to finish well, I am His ambassador and He has purpose for me beyond what I can ask or imagine. I thank Him for the reminder! I write a little article for the Denver post every other week or so, and above you will find the address to the blog that they publish if you care to read it. I’m no writer, but God allows me to share publically–and this week’s article was all about Colorado Springs…

Thank you Beth, and all of your team who came to Colorado Springs. While I don’t live in Colorado Springs, I have friends who lost their home and another couple whose home survived but will need work due to smoke damage. Your words of healing, reminding us that God loves to bring beauty from ashes, and talking of FINISHING were all so helpful during this time here in Colorado.

The devil may be wanting to take us down with all of the fires, but this worship LIT ME BACK ON FIRE!! God has since led me to know that I am to finish a work that has been going on for over a decade (you spoke of the discipline needed when we lose our passion). He has also nudged me back to leading/teaching women’s Bible Studies and has shown me that there is more to do there also.

Thank you Lord for the rain we have been receiving – You did “open the flood gates of heaven” – words we sung here.

It is my prayer that all of us who attended here will keep our memories in our hearts forever! Gotta go so I can keep on following through as I follow Him.

    Hi Beth,
I just wanted to write in as you requested regarding what needs finished in my life. My daughter Ryan was on my mind during almost every moment of your conference. She seems to be on her way to prodigalism and I just felt God’s leading so strongly to not give up on her or to give up hope. I felt so encouraged by the worship and teaching times. Thanks so much for coming to CO Springs even during such a difficult time. It truly meant the world to me. I feel renewed in my prayer life and also in my relationship with Jesus. I am also just starting doing Breaking Free and I am excited for that will

    Candace says:

Attending the LPL in Colorado Springs was the perfect end to an emotional week. Still evacuated, I knew my home was standing by that point, but the experience made me face how I would react to losing a home and memories in the ashes. Seeing the burned homes in my neighborhood is sobering, and my heart breaks for those who have to deal with so much right now. One thing that really made an impact on me on Friday night was a graphic on the screen while singing(cannot remember which song?), and a lion came out of the smoke on a bluff and roared….the visual of this had such an impact on my soul and gave me chills. You see, overlooking Mountain Shadows is a bluff that runs the length of the area, and I live just west of that ridge. I thought of what our pastor said the first Sunday after the fire burned down our church home, The Flying W Ranch-he said, ” God is not safe, but He is good.” I KNOW our God, our wild and adventuresome God was right there in the midst of this firestorm.

Oops – wasn’t quite finished there. I am so excited for what will come from the BF study as well.

Hi!! I was blessed to attend the session in Colorado Springs as this was the first time I was able to see Beth Moore in person. At the end of the session on Saturday morning we turned to a sister, or two, and repeated what Beth was saying. To say the least, the Holy Sprit was minstering to both of us. We were both crying and we both knew when the Sprit was talking to her, and then when the Spirt was talking to me. I would really love to get what we said to each other written down as I would like to type it up for my friend and frame it for her as a reminder of what the Lord was teaching both of us that weekend. Thank you so much and thank you for your ministy!!!!!

I wanted to give you an update from Colorado Springs. The fire is 100% contained! Praise God for the firefighters. They said they have never seen such an outpouring from the community. Colorado Springs is a blessed city. Please continue to pray for those that lost so much. Pray that this event will bring a multitude to the Lord. We were blessed by the Living Proof event. God has perfect timing!

I’ve been to previous Living Proof Live conferences with Beth and have printed off the commissioning which I’ve found posted on the blog after the event. Will the commissioning for this event be posted? I would love a copy to keep with me and review periodically as well as to share with the women who attended with me from my church. Thank you!

    Hello,
I was so excited to see hear you speak…a friend and I are halfway through one of you studies and you have taught me so much. I was not able to make it on the 2nd day, we had to put our dog of 14 years down that morning and I couldn’t let my little girls (7 & 9) go through that without me, much less not be there to say goodbye to my first baby..my first dog. I was wondering if there was somewhere on your website that I could go and get any info on what was spoken on that 2nd day? I understand that you probably don’t broadcast these events as they are not free…but if there is any way to even get a little bit of what was said…I would be so grateful 🙂
    God Bless!

    Beth-
I also attended at the World Arena in COS. I had absolutely no intention of leaving any comments on this blog, due to the fact that I’ve been processing everything you have told us. God has worked in an amazing way upon hearing the Follow Me=Follow Thru. Your entire example on Friday night was about writing a book. I have been called to do just that and yet have never followed thru with His calling. You had us turn to 2 Corinthians 8:10-12. This is the THIRD time He has confirmed this to me, telling me to complete the doing of it. Every fear you mentioned about writing in the middle of the book was exactly where I have been in NOT completing it. Only within the last week is He asking me to give back to Him all He has given me for the past 10 years in order to complete the doing of this. I have never had more fear of the unknown yet courage to step out. You said on Saturday morning that we are comrades in this faith. So I am asking you, a fellow comrade, for encouragement? a word? a step? I would love to share with you in an email exactly what God has put on my heart, not about my book, but what He has revealed to me, by using YOU as my lead. How he has used you more than once to show me what’s next. You honestly would not believe what great friends we could be!!! My thought has been “why not just go right to the source if I want to really succeed at this?” Thank you so much for your humbleness in serving the Lord and us, as fellow comrades. We all are NOT competition, He wants to use each of us for HIS glory. We are blessed to hear you and look forward to eternity, where we can all be together for good!

Update from a Colorado Springs evacuee attendee. As the summer of 2012 comes to a close and I have had several weeks to process and heal from the fire that devastated our community, these words flow from my heart, “blessed be the Name of the Lord!” Two weeks after the Living Proof event I had the opportunity to be a part of Beth’s James study held at my church. So many women signed up that more books had to be rush ordered. I had not attended a woman’s Bible study in about 12 years; instead I did them at home, alone. But worshipping and hearing from Beth in the company of so many women, I just had to be a part of it. Well, God spoke and it was often painful, but mercy triumphed! Just last week at a Saturday evening service, my 25 year old daughter, who had been suffering from panic attacks since the fire, (she and her family were also evacuated) surrendered her life to Christ. Years of prayer for her were answered! How joyous to see that fresh, new faith as she bubbles over with statements like, “God is real, He’s really real!” She has a great hunger for truth and a desire to know her Savior. God is good. I wish I had time to tell all of how God used the fire to purify my life – maybe I’ll write a book;)God bless you, Beth.
