We’re just four verses from the finish line, Sisters! To God’s great glory, we’re doing this thing! I grinned from ear to ear two weeks ago when someone posted “Jesus wept” as her verse. That’s fair game! All of us could use a little catch from time to time. You guys bring me so much joy. May God cause His love and power to explode within you because you’ve worked so hard and fought so many distractions to get to this point.

The woman in the picture with me, in the black shirt is my Bestie, best friend, Dawn. We have been friends for over 16 years, even though I was living the nomad life of a U.S. Air Force wife, two kids and a dog. We stayed in touch with one another, sporadically, over the years, but when we got on the phone with one another, it was like we just saw each other the day before. I love girlfriends like that, no one is upset because you haven’t talked in awhile, you are just overjoyed to be visiting with one another. My Bestie lost her battle with breast cancer on September 6th 2011, I miss her. She is the reason I got PINK hair extensions put in my hair. This picture is from my visit to see her this past Easter. I would like to dedicate my Scripture Memorizing to her. She had a mighty faith and it was glorious to see how many lives she touched and changed by walking the walk, not just talking the talk. She is out of pain now, I am thankful she has been reborn into her heavenly body. We never said goodbye to each other because we know we are going to see each other again in heaven. We decided that we would just say, “Hasta la vista, baby.”
