I have been to several Living Proof events and this by far out did them all! Thank you God for showing up in such a powerful way! Thank you LP team for your obedience! JOY spilled out of the Maverick Center last weekend……amazing!

I sure did enjoy watching this recap!

I reminded me how much I enjoyed the times I could come to your Tuesday night studies at Houston First Baptist with ladies from my church, or friends from other churches. I lived in Houston for many years and was blessed to be able to do that!

In Dallas now, where God has placed us! Where it is ever so lightly raining this morning, and giving us a break from too many days over 100!

    He showers us with Blessings!

Thank you, Beth for your Living Proof Live ministry. I have attended two events and I enjoy so much watching the recaps of the events in other cities. Being able to see you in person teaching the Word, and hearing the whole arena singing praise to God at the top of their lungs… it’s just awesome! 🙂

I can not thank God enough for allowing Beth Moore to give us the gifts she gave us this weekend!! I am a stranger TRA in Salt Lake City, Utah and that is one of the few times I have felt such a profound spiritual presence. Thank you Beth for giving me motivation that I have been missing throughout my daily life. What a day it’s going to be “WHEN JESUS CHRIST IS REVEALED!”

    Carrie says:

Thanks so much, Beth and team, for blessing us with your presence and word from God this past weekend. I so appreciated the Word He put on your heart to share with us- especially in regards to the culture and context we live as strangers in this state. You’ve renewed my zeal with which I am to love people- even if they don’t love me back- and I thank you for that. Keep serving Him!

    Leslie says:

I am so grateful that the Living Proof team shared their joy and knowledge with our community this week-end. Because of family situations I was unable to attend, but I know that lives were changed and hearts opened because of the God’s mighty power. This can be a hard place for believers but renewal comes when we join together in prayer and love.

The recap video brought tears to my eyes as they always do. Rich does such a beautiful job of capturing the emotion of the event. I am praying for the women who were blessed by the conference and pray that the Word remains in their hearts today as daily life continues. May the Lord protect them from the evil one who will try to diminish the intimacy and joy they felt over the weekend. May the Word stand firm and fresh in their hearts and minds.

And, oh, how I want to know what “I am a stranger TRA in…” is all about!

I truly can not express how thankful I am to the great I AM for breathing new life into me again. “I am a Living Proof” of how God’s word changes people! Thank you Mama Beth and staff for going where God leads you. We needed this here in Utah! Here is something small that I wrote on Saturday morning 8-27-2011.

    When Jesus Christ Is Revealed

    I came to this place,
    full of broken dreams,
    feeling alone and misplaced.
    Forgotten by God is what,
    I believed I was.

Overwhelmed by a flood of memories,
    rushing through my mind.
I was reminded of how my Jesus,
has been revealed in my life.

I no longer felt alone or forgotten.
He was there when I turned,
    to self-harm and ran.
He revealed Himself through His word,
and breathed new life into me.

    He revealed Himself to me,
    through my scars and shame.
He lifted me out of the ash,
    and showed me beauty.
    Like He has done today!

    Then one day without warning,
there will be one final reveal!
When the nations and all of man-kind,
will know what I have believed…
    WHEN JESUS CHRIST IS REVEALED!

How excited am I about the new cd by Travis!!!!!!!

Hoping to make it to Austin in 2012!

Never been to TEXAS, and a JESUS-Event in Texas, I might bust.

I cannot express how dear the images are – the absolute joy of seeing this kind of encounter with GOD…these are my retreats. THE WORD of GOD is my WORSHIP, HE speaks thru HIS Word to me and that is my rest.

LOVE TO ALL for all you do –

PS: BETH, I LOVE your hair long!!!

    Elisabeth says:

Boy, do I have a story for any of you Siestas who want to take time to read it!!!!!……..

I was scared to travel to Utah by myself from CA, but I felt the Lord leading. Friday night was, well, yeah. If you were there, y’all know how it was! But then….

I went to check into my hotel & they told me my card declined. I was shocked. I had just deposited $800 in my account! So I checked my account on my iPhone. Hertz had charged my account $800 for my $19.99 car rental!!!! I was stuck. Stranded. A young, single woman alone with noone at home that had any access to my account. I totally freaked out. I just sat in my car for an hr and sobbed bitterly. All kinds of issues with being alone & single came rushing to the surface. I screamed out, “WHAT was I thinking coming this far for this?! Ive been to 10 of these. I listen the Beth online all the time. I should’ve just stayed home! Lord, I’m so isolated. So alone! So scared. So hungry and so suddenly broke!” I found enough change in my purse for a $2 biscuit & hashbrown meal at Denny’s and googled directions to the nearest one. I sat there & reviewed my notes and read for a few hours. Then I just got my bag from the car & changed and put my face on in the bathroom. I’m sure the waitress was a bit curious as the what the heck the whole hanging out all night & getting ready in the bathroom was about.

Then Saturday morning, I was still upset and hungry but wanted desperately to hear The Lord. I asked Him to speak directly to me. He spoke so strong. There’s this story Beth tells about going through a struggle ( I believe it was feeling like a failure?) that noone around her knew about when she was speaking at a conference. And that very day Kay Arthur, in the middle of her message, pointed at Beth and said, ” God is saying I WILL NOT FAIL Y-O-U!” Well, God did that with me Saturday. Beth pointed right at me and said, “Do you hear me Sister? EVERYTHING you’re dealing with is with such purpose!” I needed that reminder. I needed it so very badly. After the conference, Beth told me my face radiated with Jesus. I laughed so hard after the night I’d had. More like radiating with no shower! It was very cool to have her say that just because I still remember the first conference I attended, & being completely and totally in bondage & a hot mess. And that day I looked at her and thought, “she radiates joy. She is IN LOVE with Jesus. I want to be like that.” 4 years later, Beth makes the very comment that I radiated Jesus. It amazes me how Jesus speaks so precisely through people without them even knowing it. I am most assuredly free in every way and falling more in love with HIM every day. The cherry on top? Back at the airport, after Hertz refunded me and I could FINALLY get food, I stopped at the Starbucks by my gate. (most important item first, right?) As they made my drink, I was telling Jesus how thankful I am for everything. And that I was just dying to hug someone. I turned around and there was Beth. He is BEYOND creative.
    Amazing weekend! Novel done.

Y’all have no idea. I was so discombobulated @ wk today. I feel like The Lord took my entire world & flipped it entirely upside down. I thought to myself, “I wonder how long it’s going to take me to recover.” And then I thought “why do I want to recover?!” To come completely full circle, from bondage to falling madly in love with Jesus everyday, is amazing. Is all that matters. Ladies, He’s it. He works. Whatever it is, HE is the answer. Run with Him. Run to Him. With everything in you. He will NEVER disappoint!

Oh Sister! Thank you for sharing!! I wish I could have taken you home with me on one hand, but on the other, I think you are far more rich experiencing God the way you did. He is so good and His ways are so much higher than ours. It is occuring to me, that, when we get to go to heaven, we will experience God in all of His glory all of the time. Right now, on Earth we get to experience him in our desperation. We are so desperate for Him! What a great revelation he is giving you. He loves you sooo much!!!

      In Christ,

What a weekend it was!!! I am still singin’ and dancin’ to “Victory in Jesus”! Thank you so much for taking the time to come to our city. It’s always so amazing to get together in a venue like that and see other Christ-followers worship in complete abandon. Sometimes you get to feeling pretty alone here. Sunday morning in my time with the Lord, He took me to 2 Corintians 10:3-5, “For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. I’ve read this scripture so many times before but it just came alive to me after this weekend. God showed me this weekend that I am to commit like never before to memorizing scripture so that I have that powerful weapon ready to use to DEMOLISH strongholds in my life. “All will be revealed when Jesus Christ is revealed”!

I am a pastor’s wife and a stranger TRA in Sun Valley, Idaho. It’s a different sort of spiritual battle there, then the one in Salt Lake City, but the same satan. I bought my ticket to Living Proof Live awhile ago but closer to the event, I did not want to go. Discouragement has been my constant companion of late. Doubt, frustration, despair, unfortunate friends.
Thank you Beth, Travis and your team for reminding me of what I already knew. Beth, 1 Peter 1 was what I was studying two weeks ago, and that week I told God “Yes, Lord I am willing to be your Gideon here in this place that does not want to know you.” The verse you “mis-read” on Friday, was MY verse during that study and you spoke directly to my heart as the tears flowed.
Travis, you have been a constant encouragement to us in our worship ministry for the last 8 years. THANK YOU. You are a blessing and your heart for worship and leading others to worship is an inspiration.
Thank you all for your faithfulness to what God has called and directed you to do. And thank you for encouraging me in SLC.
I will be working at the leadership event prior to the conference in Boise in May. I’m looking forward to experiencing it all again!

I will always include in my chats with Jesus “I love you TOO!” Sincerely, Thank you Beth!

    Shirley Hergert says:

Moving to St George, UT from the Bible belt – Nashville, TN I have felt like a stranger in this land. Comforting to have the assurance – it’s ok to feel that way. I have never lived among a people that believed Jesus was Someone other than what the Bible says. Most of my friends have come out of that religion and are like the one Jesus spoke about “those who are forgiven most love the most”. Praise God for my friends and praise God for the wonderful opportunity to attend the Living Proof Live conference in Salt Lake City – so far from my Tennessee home. Thank you, Beth for coming. It shows me so much of my God and you (His faithful servant) that you would come to such a small gathering from what you are used to and still teach and praise as if it was an auditorium full. I love you so much.

    Lynda Rickey says:

Beth, Looks like you had a totally awesome time in Salt Lake City. May the harvest continue long after the planted seed. Love you and Travis too! Travis and I have something in common. We both grew up in Boone, NC. I spent every single summer of my life on top of my grandfather’s mountain in Boone. Before Travis hit it really big, he led praise and worship for small conferences and he would say he was from Boone and I would yell out YEAH! and he would stop and say, “Somebody knows about Boone!” Then we’d say a few things to each other and he would lead off the praise and worship. I guess that happened about 3 or 4 times when I was in my twenties. Makes me smile whenever I see him on the videos. Love you for sharing your videos. Lynda

Always love seeing the video from LPM conferences. Thank You, Lord for gathering women together to praise and worship and experience Your presence in their lives.
Looking forward to attending the Lubbock LPM in person and praying for all the women participating through the simulcast. What an amazing time it will be! I’m believing God to come and speak through Beth & Travis to our hearts, minds and spirits. Lord, continue to bless this ministry! What a mighty God we serve!

Travis – WORSHIP WAS GLORIOUS! Thank you for being obedient in what you do. I pray that the Lord will continue to bless you.

Beth – I was so moved by your words friday night I actually texted a friend during your talk (I know completely naughty)but I had to share 1 Peter 1:7,13 with her right then. Satan attacked as he will do on Saturday morning right at the break. It took all my willpower to stay for the last session. I cannot say thank you enough your words saved me from a huge fight with my husband and gave me words to kindly talk to him. I bent down and looked right into his face later that day. I AM and WILL continue to praise God for Peter’s example and please give Keith a hug of thanks for showing a TRA Stanger from West Valley City, UT a great way to see the eyes of the ones you love.

    Beth and team,
Thank you so much for choosing to stop in Salt Lake City. We sometimes get overlooked because of the numbers thing, but I firmly believe we are Gideon’s Army with God’s provision! Thank you again, the weekend was amazing. I came with 10 girlfriends, and afterward we were sharing our “take-aways”. Nobody had the same one! God is so good to reveal so many different things to us based on exactly what we need to hear to get us closer to Him. Thank you Beth for being obedient to His call.
    Blessings!

Thank you so much for coming to Utah! I cannot describe how amazing it was to worship with 2000+ other Christian women here in Utah! It was powerful. I am a stranger TRA in Utah. Like many others that I know, it seems strange that I ended up here in Utah (from Texas). It was definitely not my plan in life. And yet, now I feel a renewed enthusiasm for the purpose that God placed me here for. We need to be a light here and I am excited to look for opportunities to do that. Thank you to God for such a timely and wonderful message from Beth!

Beth, I noticed a woman holding a Bible to her chest and it had Duct tape on the binding near the end of the video. I wonder was it her Daddy’s, Grandpa’s. I have one that is in just about the same condition. Did you know that Duct tape saved the team of Apollo 13? They had a co2 leak and they used it to seal up the leak. The wonders of Duct tape. Praise you Lord for giving us the means to save our lives from your word to the Moon!

Nope…I am dying to know was well!!

      • “Temporarily Residing At….” one thing we talked about was being strangers here on Earth and it not being our home, where we belong. We have to keep in perspective that wherever we are planted is with incredible purpose and meaning and NOT an accident. It all leads to and culminates with Jesus Christ being revealed. When He’s revealed, everything else fades. Nothing else matters. Jesus. Completely, totally, overwhelmingly Jesus. Don’t lose sight of that. And make THAT the vision. The goal. Work towards that moment. LONG for it. Crave it. Don’t get lost in this world!!!:)

        • Carrie says:

What a joy it has been to read all of the posts!! TRA from my notes is “Temporarily Residing Abroad.” I also have in my notes, the “Stranger” reference is from 1Peter 2:11, “we are strangers and aliens to this world.” All of the stories have been so wonderful to read! I am new to this blog and am excited to keep up with it. Looking forward to Beth in Boise in May 2012!

I wasn’t there, and was wondering too. But I’ve been studying 1 Peter and it seems like her core passage was maybe from 1 Peter, possibly 1 Peter 1:13 (was one of my memory verses a little bit ago so I’m tuned in to it). And what I do know of 1 Peter from my own study is that it is written to those believers scattered/dispersed across Asia Minor, those who are strangers and pilgrims, sojourners in a land where spiritually they were foreigners, if not literally as well. SO.. my humble guess was that since she was in Salt Lake City, and Utah is usually associated with Mormonism, not Christianity, she was making the connection that they too (though we all are) are strangers and pilgrims in a land hostile to our faith. ALL that to say.. I’m making a wild educated guess that TRA stands for traveling.. thus “I’m a stranger traveling in…”

      Might be wrong? 🙂

Beth, thank you so much for coming to Utah!
Me, my daughter in-law, my mother and my friends had a wonderful time with you. I marvel at how God’s word has the ability to speek to so many in their own particular circumstances. Thank you for bringing it to Utah! You will never know in this life the ways that you have touched our lives or how perfect God’s timing is……my daughter in-law, who is separated from my son and trying to work while raising three kids has a better understanding of her RIGHT NOW and her IN A LITTLE WHILE and WHEN……….JESUS CHRIST IS REVEALED! and she will now be better able to STAND FIRM!!! and me the Grammy raising two of my grandaughters for the past 6 years because their mother died in child birth, my other son’s children, him an alcoholic…. and my husband with his own addiction issues and health concerns. Beth my plate is so full, I can’t fit another thing on it. BUT you helped me to see this weekend that there is a bigger picture here that God is working in their lives and that my RIGHT NOW might be tough but that it is NOT all about me and IN A LITTLE WHILE God will give me more glimpses of Him working in their lives but OH!!! what a glorious day it will be when this all makes sense when I understand why things had to be worked out the way they have been WHEN………JESUS CHRIST IS REVEALED!!!!!
again THANK YOU! Thank you to Travis and the whole worship team they were WONDERFUL!!!
    from Utah……”I” LOVE YOU!……..

So enjoyed the video! Looking forward to seeing Beth and Travis and the team in Baltimore in a couple of weeks. So excited to see and hear a message from our Lord and Savior.

Ahhh, warms my heart to see the recap of that amazing weekend. I am a stranger TRA in Grand Junction, Colorado but I will be a stranger no more WHEN JESUS CHRIST IS REVEALED! I’ve meditated on those words and that truth for the past few days and have been so blessed. Thank you, Beth, for bringing a fresh word and for glorifying His name. I attended with my mom and 14-year-old sister and they were blessed too. As we arrived home, my mom presented me with a beautiful figurine of a woman holding a heart. The name of the figurine is “I Love You.” My mom looked me straight in the eyes and said to me, “I love you.” She’s a typical “Love ya” kind of gal so it meant a lot to me. Thank you Beth for encouraging transparency and DEEP, from the HEART love and expressions of love. It was a weekend that blessed our family in so many ways.

SIESTAS!! It was wonderful to see many of you face to face and to hear some of your stories. This body of believers blesses me so! Praying for renewed spirits for all of you and for His works to be powerful in your lives as you take what you learned last weekend and live it out in real life.

P.S. What the link that the photographer gave us for the Siesta photo we took? I’ve tried every combination on flickr.com and can’t seem to find it! I’d SO love to have that pic as a reminder of that special weekend, any help anyone can offer up would be greatly appreciated!

When did the Siestas meet in SLC? I’m so bummed I missed the annoucement for it! I’ve been doing the memory verses this year for the first time and would have loved to hear how it’s going for others. And of course, it would have been a fabulous surprise to meet Siesta Mama!

      • Beth says:

So sorry we missed you, Carrie! There is just a slide that shows up randomly during the breaks, calling all Siestas. We can’t make an announcement or anything. Hate that I didn’t get to hug your sweet neck.

No worries. I understand the need to be discreet otherwise you’d have had 2,400 women there for a photo op. I’m a newbie to both the LPL events and the SSMT, so I’m learning how this all works as I go. I’ll just have to try and make it to the celebration in Houston and/or LPL in Boise!

What an amazing weekend!! We are so blessed by our amazing God! And now we have work to do in Salt Lake City! I have been to 2 other conferences, 2 of which were huge in numbers. I was shocked at the small size when I looked around. I realized how I have been isolated in my christian community. I go to a large church here is SLC and have so many wonder sisters in Christ here. We live in a large valley with many women in need of some refreshment. It broke my heart to see the small number. It has been prophesied over SLC that there are 2 giants here, one is awake and the other is asleep. The one that is asleep is Christianity. But that giant is waking up with the mighty spirit that he poured out on us this weekend. Captives are going to be set free WHEN THE TRUE JESUS CHRIST IS REVEALED!!! Sisters, it is up to us to show them His love! Let’s love them out of their bondage with the true love of Christ! We are going to see HIM do amazing things among us. We cannot afford to be silent. We have to accept the calling that our savior has placed on our lives!

Loved it! Loved the song; loved the siesta faces; loved the sea of papers saying where everyone was “stranger-ing” from.

Warm – and a stranger – and some days, simply stranger – not “a” – in Alaska.

These videos make me cry every single time! The thought of God moving so greatly in groups of women all across the nation makes me sing for joy. Thank you Beth for all you put into these weekends for all of those attending. We cherish you because you bring Jesus that much closer to us.

A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.
For we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

Thank you, Beth and Travis, for an incredible weekend of Holy Spirit power! I know that so many ladies could say this, but I’m just certain that the scripture you taught on was chosen by God for ME! This Siesta girl needed to see the big picture of NOW, in a LITTLE WHILE, and WHEN . . Jesus Christ is revealed. The worship dropped me to my knees at the gates of heaven, and I am revived and refreshed once again to be a stranger TRA in Carlsbad, CA. And I love the Siesta hug with you, Beth. Means the world to me!

I was catching up with you on the Blog today and read the post for today..Sept. 1, and then enjoyed the “spending the day” with you. I love how transparent you are Beth, it makes me love you even more. I am wiping tears from my eyes after watching the video and listening to Travis’ beautiful song, there is something beyond precious to see all those women poured into a conference center to hear God’s Word taught by our favorite bible teacher, YOU. I just finished your study, “Inheritance”, yesterday and wept often during that last lesson too. I am SO very thankful for you and can’t wait to do the James study in the near future!!! With Adoration, Brenda

I just had to post this. I had such a wonderful time at Beth Moore and I did have a bit of difficulty finding my church group and sitting with them. I had someone from my church ask me why I didn’t sit with the “group” on Saturday. I smiled and didn’t respond. But I am responding here. I sat with my group. I sat with 2500 women in Utah that love God with all of their hearts. I sat with 2500 women that were thrilled to worship together. I sat with 2500 women that were so thankful to have an event like this to attend. I am a siesta to 2500 women who are going to start praying mightily that we get more events like this to attend in our lovely state. Thank you so much, Beth, for listening to God and knowing that He wanted you to come and unite us all. I so pray that more of His wonderful inspirers (sp?) come to Utah to unite all of my 2500 group!
