LPL Simulcast – Green Bay, WI

This will be our last post about the simulcast; we certainly don’t want to drive off everyone who wasn’t there! I do have good news though. We’ve decided to offer the videos from last weekend as digital downloads! After the messages have gone through the whole production process, “The Heart of Our Desires” will be available in our online store. I don’t know how long it will take, but I will let you know as soon as the videos are available.

Living Proof Live – Simulcast – Green Bay WI from Rich Kalonick on Vimeo.

Thanks, Rich, for another great recap video!

God used that study to start my healing I have attended 3 other studies by Beth since then at our church. You are a gift and have a gift to bring people to Christ Thank you. God does give you the desires of your heart. I am remarried to a wonderful man !!!!!

Oh, how wonderful to see the recap thank you! Oh, you are making this avaialble how great, I was at a living Proof event a few years ago in South Dakota and Beth talked about coming to the table of the Lord, and that message was so powerful. I thought she said that someday that may be a bible study, is that message available in DVD or bible study form?
    Thanks,

What an awesome event last weekend was. Our small church hosted it and it was amazing. I was able to have all 3 of my daughters there with me and it was a beautiful thing for me.

The message was timely and just what my heart and the heart of our church needed.

Thank you Beth, for your obedience to His Call.

    Heather says:

Wow, this is incredible! I love the video, the pictures, the music. A perfect recap!

Please pass this along to Rich; I am one of the first two women you helped at the "will call" table in the lobby. We had been there since 3:45 at least, and you were so helpful and delightful. What a blessing you are to the LPM staff, and the LPL team! Thank you for serving all of us through your photography!

I also want to thank those who made it possible for the scholarship fund to be offered. You made it possible for me and a friend to be there, when we never would have gone otherwise. God answered a desire of my heart that I dared to whisper to him the day before. I called on Thursday morning for a ticket, and that answer was there through Kimberly saying "yes" to my request for a ticket. I just about cried. THANK YOU!!!!

And to the rest of you, I am so glad that you have decided to offer the video downloads! How awesome is that! Last year's simulcast was amazing, and really touched my heart, especially when Beth felt moved to sit down and share her testimony right before the break Saturday morning. But this year, God impacted me more and more with every word she spoke. There were times so many thoughts were running through my head, that I just couldn't keep up to write them all down.

I will be thrilled to be able to back through them and listen and watch again!

Beth, you were nearly on top of me and my friend on Friday night, just two rows away, and it was all I could do to hold myself in place and keep from hugging on your neck! Not just that I was thrilled to see you in person finally, but to see that you are just as real and genuine in person, as you speak, as you come across in your on-line teachings.

Thank you for showing me an example of someone who is so sold out for God, that they don't care who sees that passion. Someone so on fire for Him, that they refuse to take any of the glory for themselves. You have given me a visual of what it might look like to look more like Christ in my life…. not to emulate you, but to encourage me to emulate Christ. It seems more attainable now to really live sold out for Christ in everything than I once thought it was… not that I will ever be perfect this side of heaven. But He is calling us to sanctification, to live more holy lives, to live lives worthy of the calling we have received… and you, Beth showed me how that looked in your life. It will look different in mine, but you were another example to me this weekend.

God has planted new dreams in my heart, new desires there. I have followed them, but not wholeheartedly. That was the commitment He was asking me to make, to walk away from indecision on. Am I willing to stop holding back some of my heart and commitment to these dreams, for fear of getting hurt? I finally had to answer on Saturday, right before the worship started up again.

I came to the alter, and knelt and finally surrendered as Travis and team started singing "Mighty to Save." Talk about a reminder of how He can move mountains, and though my fear seemed like a mountain it was nothing compared to Him. Kneeling at the alter, right at the feet of Jesus, while the worship team and entire arena sang, "our God is mighty to save, He is mighty to save…"

that will forever be a moment etched on my soul.

Thank you Beth, Travis, and everyone who made that moment of surrender possible.

May God continue to bless and direct your ministry and individual lives.
Love y'all! (from a true Wisconsinite!!!)
    Heather

    Katie Buckley says:

My name is Katie and my home church hosted this weekend's simulcast. I was blessed beyond words and I am still pondering on what my heart's real desires are. The Lord has been moving in my life in a mighty way over the past six months. I am a 26 year old stay at home mom to the most precious children! My daughter is 2and my son is 15 months old. I am also 3 months pregnant. Our children are the JOY and DELIGHT of mine and my husband's life. We can't get enough of them. But sometimes, staying home with them all day every day is hard. I am trying to potty train, teach manners, encourage them to share toys, and above all display to them God's love. I talk about God all day to them and tell them how much He loves them and how He desires a relationship with them. These truths are one of my deepest heart's desire for my children to learn and cling to. I really don't know how much they listen and often think they are kind of clueless to what I am saying…Until God spoke to me in a mighty way this weekend. After the conference Saturday was over, I came home and enjoyed the rest of the day with my husband and kids. Later that night, my little girl was getting a bath and when I asked her to stand up so I could wash her legs, she looked at me and said, "Stand Up, Mommy! Stand Up for JESUS, Mommy!" It struck me to the core…My little girl had been listening to me!! I pick up that sweet girl and said, "Thats right baby! You always stand up for Jesus because He will never have you stand alone! Jesus is standing by you all the time! You are precious to Him and His Kingdom" My husband came in and asked why I was crying and holding her. I told him what she had said and how my heart's desire to teach her about God was being played out in front of me. What a precious moment that I will treasure for the rest of my life. Even as I write this, my eyes are filled with tears of joy and my heart is so full of love. I know my little girl has no idea of the hardships she will face in this world, but if she learns to stand up for Jesus in all she does, I know He will never leave her or forsake her. She will never be left to stand alone! What an incredible promise from our heavenly Father. I can't always be with her to stand up with her when she has to make the right choice, but I know my heavenly Father will be with her to gently guide her in the right direction. Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication to put together this weekend. I am encouraged in so many ways, and I have found my relationship with the Lord to be a little deeper today than it was yesterday! Praise be to the Lord Most High!!

Six girlfriends rode together to a Simulcast location. On the 30 minute drive home on Friday, we were all pondering different issues asking each other what we thought but none of us were pondering the same issue from what Beth had said. On Saturday, all six of us had "lightbulb moments" but all about different issues. We heard six different messages that made huge impacts on us each..no two the same..but from Beth's same message. Women are individuals and are all on the path with God. He meets every one of us. Thanks Beth for being the path tender. ๐Ÿ™‚

First of all, Heather (a true Wisconsonite) thank you for sharing. I was teary by the end of your post and am grateful that you shared so sweetly and sincerely.
And now, LPM, thank you for the video download! Thank you Jesus, really. Amanda when you posted that Beth would be speaking on Psalm 37 I almost wrote and begged to have someone, ANYONE videotape the session because I love that Psalm and knew I needed that message so badly. He heard the desire of my heart! And you girls walked it out for Him. Thank you so much.

First of all, God is just so good at being God. My friend and I attended the simulcast, and in the car on the way there we had a conversation about how God is breaking us out of our callousness, reigniting our delight in God and his Word, and how He is really speaking to both of us about our individual heart's desires. Especially on Friday night, it was like Mrs. Beth had bugged our conversation and was teaching on it… sometimes almost word for word. We kept shooting each other glances like, "Didn't we just discuss this?" I can't say that I'm really surprised that God would come through like that, but I still can't help but be in awe of it.

Secondly, both of my "biggest issues" that I posted after the "one little question" blog post received answers over the weekend: the first with affirmation that I am heading in the right direction (although I still don't know the entirety of the answer yet) along with an opportunity presented to me to continue further in pursuing my personal call to ministry, and the second issue was answered with a definite yes. Praise God for that!!!!

Satan has been working overtime/triple time today "taking bites out of my delight" He has been successful as I have frequently given into the anger and worry – mainly worry today he has put in my lap. I am SO EXCITED to learn that the LPL Simulcast will be available to purchase! Upon attending this conference, I have wanted to "shout it from the roof-tops" what I've learned. I am thoroughly excited to share this POWERFUL message – especially w/ my husband! The words God gave you, were as though you "hand-delivered a letter" from Him, to me. This weekend truly ROCKED MY WORLD!

I recently experienced my fourth, consecutive, miscarriage. My life has felt a mess. I was beginning to lose hope. I questioned myself. What have I done? What am I not doing? Confusion, ANGER, and frustration overcame me. I'd ask God, Why would you allow this? It felt so cruel. And I'd find myself in countless situations, in which I couldn't help but, questioning, Why them?! Not me?! Really?!

I was reminded this radical, life-changing, weekend that God ESTEEMS my longings. He has not turned a deaf ear! That "SOMETHING IS UP!" Either GLORY or DESTINY is at stake!!! Although I may stumble, I WILL NOT FALL! And I must "look for what is present in the absence!" Thank you, Mom, for purchasing me a PRICELESS ticket! And thank you, Beth – for listening to God, doing His will, and being an ambassador for Christ. He used you to change my life!

Thanks again for a beautiful time in the word.

This isn't about the simulcast but I thought Beth, Amanda, Melissa, you'd all enjoy this little tidbit at my expense.

Yesterday I went to our local lifeway to purchase a Esther workbook. I only had my 4 year old with me and expected it to be a breeze because he's SO very good. Never thrown a tantrum in public ever, awesome kid.

Well, I should have known when he got visibly upset that I wouldn't purchase him a noah's ark candy dispenser. It was ridiculously expensive and to be fair I'd have to buy 4 and, no. Well he whined and whined and finally he stopped as we found your section at our lifeway and found what I wanted, but at that time he'd also found something he wanted.

It was a children's bible for beginning readers. It had beautiful pictures and an adorable cover with two little kids riding in a jeep. He. Wanted. That. Bible. We have many bibles at home, and I hadn't come prepared to spend 27 dollars on a bible we didn't need so I agreed with him that that was a beautiful bible, told him maybe he could ask Santa for it, and put it down.

He lost it. He stomped, he kicked he refused to walk and did that limp noodle thing on me when I tried to get him to follow me and his body went boneless in a heap on the floor. Started screaming between his sobs "I WANT A BIBLE I WANT A BIBLE. PEASE MOMMY PEASE I WANT A BIBLE" Over and over again as we try to head to the check out. I was, mortified.

So I put down your workbook and wrestled my kicking screaming child outside where it continued through the parking lot and home we went.

Of course, I have every intention of running back over there today and purchasing his much desired bible as a "What a good boy you are" gift for some day when he's being exceptional. If I get up the nerve to show my face in a store where I must be known as the young mother who deprived her screaming son of a bible.
