Hey, Siestas! I’m so glad to talk to you today! I’ve wanted to get on here since the moment I sat down on the plane to head home from Atlanta but I had a lesson to get ready and had to wait. However, I am so glad that my delay gave AJ the opportunity to blog because she used the word “inhairitance” and it is quite possible I have never loved her more.
OK, I had the best time. The only thing that would have made it better is getting to see every last one of you at the Siesta luncheon. The Southern Siestas (what they called themselves) were so cute! All sorts of different ages and types! I just love that. And how about Melana sending Miesta Moose with his little suit case since she couldn’t join us? That right there, Girlfriends, is why your Mama loves you so. You make me laugh and you make me love Jesus more. That is the highest praise I can give a soul on this earth.
That forty-eight hours in Atlanta were so packed that I can’t give you a play by play in the limited time I have. Instead, I am going to give you 10 highlights (I love that word. It reminds me of my inhairitance) in no particular order of priority. There were so many other things I’d mention if I had time. It was delightful from beginning to end.
1. Seeing Melissa and Colin in baggage claim after I arrived. It was a Saturday morning so she was just in jeans and a t-shirt. She had her bangs straight back in a barrette and looked about 15 years old. And, Lord have mercy, I love that man of hers. He is the sweetest thing ever. We had a quick lunch together then headed to the blessed madness. Melissa worked her tail off all weekend assisting her mom. I am so grateful to her. She never knew it was a weekend.
2. Walking into the sanctuary at the beautiful FBC Woodstock for dress rehearsal late Saturday afternoon. The 300-voice choir was already in the loft and the stage was all set and the lighting perfected and I just kinda had a moment. I knew we were about to be part of something BIG. And I was overwhelmed by God’s gracious goodness to my buddy Travis. We make so much fun of each other and are rarely serious about one another but it hit me between the eyes that moment how really special the dude is. I mean, I’ve known it for 10 years but sometimes you just have a surreal moment where you’re stricken by the extraordinary. I also thought to myself, it’s too bad the boy doesn’t have any friends. When I tell you that his friends rallied, I am not kidding. He honestly has more BFFs than any person in the universe besides Jesus…and sometimes, like when he gets to tape in a place like Abbey Road studios in London, I think he may be Jesus’s BFF.
3. Seeing my whole praise team and many of my other LPL team members who I love so dearly like Paige (she runs women’s events at LifeWay), Rich and Gretchen (she had the cutest new hair cut!), Stephen (the world’s greatest graphics guy) and Nate and Shelly (she’s one of our young and very gifted Siestas. I love her and her man like crazy. They get married in two and a half weeks. Not a moment too soon based on the way they look at each other. That’s all I’m saying). Seeing my beloved Angela Cottrell and also Boomama (Sophie) AND HER MAN and Bigmama (Melanie, whose man is always hunting like mine). I LOVE THEM!
4. Working with Max Lucado. He is such a great guy. Delightful to be around. Very approachable. You’d like him just as much as you think you would. He and I did these little vignettes at various times in the worship experience. You’re going to love what he shared. (For those of you who were there and are totally confused at this point, Max could only be there on Saturday night so his vignettes were taped at dress rehearsal. Two of my segments at the actual event were fill-ins for his. He will be a big part of the DVD.)
5. OK, brace yourself because this one is a huge one: Heading over to the Governor’s Mansion after dress rehearsal where Melissa and I had been invited to have dinner and…are you still with me here?…SPEND THE NIGHT. Yes. A slumber party at the Governor’s Mansion. (Not one word of this has a danged thing to do with politics. I want you to know something about a brother and sister in Christ who happen to hold political office.) Our time in that home was something I will never forget as long as I live. I knew Governor Perdue and Georgia’s First Lady, Mary, really loved Jesus because…
a) I’d heard that, particularly in reference to the prayers over Georgia for the drought a year or so ago, and
b) Mrs. Perdue had come to our Deeper Still event in Atlanta and I could clearly see she was a real, live follower of Jesus and not a nominal Christian looking to make political points with constituents.
You’ll find this little bit of Siesta trivia interesting: Mrs. Perdue and our very own Georgia Jan are very, very good friends. Family friends for decades. Georgia Jan is simply one of the most delightful people you will ever meet in your entire life. She is laugh-your-head-off hilarious. So witty. Digs Jesus like crazy. She was our big connection there and, of course, was at dinner and also spent the night (and the next) there at the mansion. By the way, Georgia Jan’s husband can’t remember the name “Siesta” for us for anything. He calls us the “Salsas.” It made me so happy. We’re a pretty salsy group of God-loving Siestas if you ask me.
We had the most marvelous dinner. Mrs. Perdue (I did call her by her first name face-to-face but I can’t bring myself to do it in print) asked her two beautiful daughters, Lee and Laura, to join us and Lee’s twin 9-year-old daughters, Mary Kate and Sunni, were our extra delights at the table. If you know me well, you know I love little girls! Especially pre-adolescents! They were the cutest things ever. They later took us on a tour of the mansion and, oh, if you could have seen the historical place through their eyes, you would have loved it! The Governor was so gracious to us that he won me forever. He helped clear plates and all sorts of things but where he had me was in his attentiveness to his bride of 36 years. The whole time we sat and chatted after dinner, he had his left arm propped on the back of her chair and he played with the back of her hair. They are flat out in love. It did a heart good.
Would you believe I got to sleep in the president’s suite??? That morning I woke up and said out loud with my head still on the pillow, “Good morning, Lord. It’s me. I’m here in the Governor’s Mansion in Atlanta and I’m in the president’s suite in case you’re having trouble finding me. I know I seem a bit out of place…” And the Lord and I laughed.
PS. Georgia Jan, I’ve nearly hurt myself on that Gevalia Coffee. Ordered 4 pounds when I got home.
6. Church with Melissa and Colin. We went to Buckhead Church where they attend and the whole experience left me bug-eyed. Melissa is friends with their worship leader, Carlos, and his darling wife, Heather, and I loved meeting them so much. They have been so gracious to make her and her man feel welcome so far from home. Carlos is a fabulous worship leader. The congregation was fabulous, too, but, all in all, they stayed remarkably calm while I, on the other hand, was just about ready to run a lap. I had Melissa on my right (blocking the aisle. Actually I don’t really take laps but sometimes I wish I could) and one of my other favorite people on earth, Janet Reeves, on my left. (She’s one of the best things that God has ever done in Jesse Reeves’ life. He’s a big part of the Chris Tomlin Band – bass player, vocals, co-writer – and I love him like crazy, too.) I do not have words big enough for my reaction to Andy Stanley. He is simply one of the most extraordinarily gifted communicators I have ever seen in my life. I was nearly slack-jawed. And, yes, I’ve heard him before but it hits me every time. His message on giving is still rolling around in my head and making me itch to get the checkbook and give some money away. Haven’t had a chance to talk to my man about it but I will.
Dang, I’m running out of time! Meeting at 12:00! Speeding up!
7. Surprising the Southern Siestas at the end of their lunch on Sunday afternoon. They were so much fun! I know I already mentioned it but it was too good not to make part of my ten!
8. Meeting Shaun Groves. Good grief. He’s just so cool and so passionate about the work of Jesus that it’s stupid. (I mean stupid in that really wonderful way.) Meeting Cindy Morgan. She is the tiniest thing you’ve ever seen with one of the biggest gifts God has entrusted to a song writer/vocalist in our generation. Trav had been on the Christmas tour with both of them this year and loves them so much. I certainly could see why.
9. The worship experience itself. It is TREMENDOUS. I can’t wait for it to come out on CD and DVD. You will love the music and it will most definitely do it’s job. Girlfriends, you will be led to worship.
10. Angela Cruz leading out on the Mercy Seat song (can’t remember but I think it may officially be called “Running”. I don’t know. I’m so dumb). The whole sanctuary was nearly overwrought with the Spirit. I’m not kidding. It was so powerful, it was nearly painful. Travis transitioned the song into “Lord Have Mercy” and I nearly had to hit the floor. I felt like God was literally pouring out mercy upon us like a torrent. It was a moment in corporate worship that I may never forget.
Well, that’s my run down and I left so much out! I also don’t have time to edit. I’m just gonna have to pitch it out there as it is! I love you guys so much and wished every one of you were with us. This is my way of hoping you’ll feel just a tad like you were.
Beth, Thank you for taking the time to comment on my blog!! I nearly fainted when I clicked over to link to someone’s blog from my comments and saw your sweet picture! My husband thought I was stretching the truth (I’m sure by my post you can’t imagine why he’d think that!) so I had to pull out one of your Bible Studies to show him a picture of you. (Beloved Disciple happened to be the first one I came to)
I had been praying for some direction on some things and was hoping through the events of Sunday, God would help me in those areas. It did. He did!
Thank you for being so real, so “let your hair down”, and for being such a great mom and Godly example to your girls. We don’t all have that in our “real life”, but I know that I can click here and feel that I’m part of your siesta family and that I do have a line of communication to a godly “Siesta Mama” .
It was truly my pleasure to meet you and to be a part of Sunday’s events and of this blog family!
Thank you,
Deedra
(you know, the one with the giagantuous imaginary tall tale account of Sunday’s events…haha!)

I’m just so bummed that I didn’t know about this event in Georgia. I live about an hour away from Woodstock and would have surely made the drive!!! How did I miss hearing about this?? Thanks so much for all the details in the blog. It’s a blast to read your entries!!
Knowing you love pre-adolescent girls now confirms that you indeed did wave at the 10-year-old little cheerleader who was sitting on the third row. And who happens to be my daughter. 😛
Now see there is a little controversey on who you were actually waving at….Deedra at Down on the Farm says it was her and Lisa at The Preachers’ Wife says it was her. So, I just wanted to clear the air here….
Hahaa Just kidding.
No really, we had an AWESOME time at FBC of Woodstock on Sunday! The presence of the Lord was very strong and I don’t think any of us left with a dry eye! I can’t wait to get the DVD and watch it all over again!!!!
Oh, and I must say, our Bible study group is currently doing Stepping Up and I love it!!!! Thanks for all your hard work!
Your favorite Siesta Stalker,
Brooke :)))
Salsa, huh? Reminds me of when I was in BSF and my dear hubby couldn’t remember the name. He wanted to make it BF–something. So we finally decided that I just went to B.F. Goodrich!
Terri
Ummmm…about that jacket…..
I’m going on e-bay now to look for something similar. 🙂
I just posted about wearing our own jackets and not trying to make something that WILL NOT FIT, FIT! So I feel kind of weird…but have mercy! That jacket is darling!
Melissa should do some moonlighting as a personal shopper! 😉
steph.
Wow- What a blast. I have thought this for awhile but I think I need to come and work for you. 🙂 You really have a awesome job.
You are a TRIP! You may want to ease up on the Gevalia – just kidding. I love your excitement about life and of course JESUS! It is totally contagious! Just watched session 3 of Esther last night at church – ooooh doggy! You preach it Mama! The red book is PRICELESS. Thank you for loving us and for loving the Lord!
Wow, what a post, and then all the comments……WhoooHoooo!!! I tell you, I can hardly wait for heaven and see everyone and all of us talkin’ at one time…..Won’t that be just the best??!!!
Thanks Beth for all your sharing!!!
You are so real and yet over the years of doing your Bible Studies, (nine years this year) you have shown me and inspired me to love our LORD, worship our LORD and love our LORD in a way I find hard to express. HE is so awesome!!!!
I live in MI so I envy you Georgia girls having a Governor and First Lady that love the Lord!!! I must admit there are times I feel like I live in the darkest state in the nation. Yet, when the sun shines and the blue skies and green grass appear (for the few months they do)I feel like I am in heaven. The air is so clear and the colors so vivid I can’t imagine Heaven being any brighter…..Didn’t mean to ramble…..One more thing, we are having a heat wave today – going to be in the 20’s and maybe make the 30’s by the weekend……YAY!
Travis is without a doubt “gifted” and he uses it to glorify our Lord.
Thanks Travis!!!!
Blessings to all you Siesta’s…..
Georgia (Bible Bunny in No MI)
I cannot wait until the cd comes out, now !!! I am so glad that you were able to watch it being recorded. It must have been an awesome experience to see live !
In Christ’s Love,
Jennifer
Janesville, Wisconsin
DUDE (from your own vocabulary)! A spend the night party at the Governor’s Mansion in the president’s suite???!!! I laughed my head off that you told the Lord where you were since you were out of place and I’m glad that you and Him had a good laugh.
The concert was so awesome, but sure was sad to miss the luncheon and your surprise visit. Maybe next time! We did get to tag up with some of the siestas for a minute or two before the concert. Can’t wait for the CD and DVD! The Mercy Seat song was on my list of favorites as well, but I don’t think there was anything I didn’t enjoy!
AND I’m sure you were waving at me and my Siesta friend and our hubbies!!!
Love you!
Dianne
Wow, how very wonderful! Thank you for sharing.
Wish I could have been there!
Anna
I loved everything about this post. I felt like I was there!
Loving the fact that you got to see Shelly and her man. You know I love me some Shelly.
And Melissa.
And Georgia Jan.
And Travis.
Okay, stopping now.
However, I just have to say that each of the “Moore” girls has some sort of “Inhairitance” that we all covet every now and than.
Can I get my “Inhairitance” somehow? I mean, I am, right now listetning to “The Blessing of Abraham” and they’re telling me I get it. If someone has gotta go get it, I will!
Love you all.
Beth, loved your post so much. I am still chuckling at the description of the presidential suite. I think I would have felt the same. You really do make me feel a part of all that you get to do. Keep going girl!!
Blessings from Siesta in CA
Beth, I got distracted by the most random / embarassing thought as I was reading your post, I didn’t even finish it because I felt compelled to act on this weird thought. And to be honest, I have NO idea what spurred this thought. Believe you me, if I could send this thougth in a private email to you, I would. 🙂
I am 28, single, and live in Missouri. I have the most amazing family and love doing worship / youth stuff for my church. Which is to say, I really enjoy my life. Being in the midwest, most all my friends married right out of college. And being 28, most of the godly men I know are no longer single. Of those that are still single, there seems to be a lack of the spiritual depth that I crave in a partner.
Most of the time, I trust in God’s plan. Sometimes, I get discouraged. Today, it is a mix.
Which brings me to my very random question. In your journeys, how often do you run into single men in their late 20’s, early 30’s that have a genuine, beautiful heart for the Lord? and I mean Genuine and Beautiful in the most manly way possible. 🙂 I try not to get discouraged, but it sometimes feels like all of the good ones have already chosen their brides. And I’m not one to think it’s my fault (by God’s grace, I generally don’t believe the lies that I’m not good enough or something like that) – I know it’s God’s timing and I trust His ways. Most of the times. Other times, I wonder…
Is there somebody left for me?
Mama,
It was a SPECTACULAR TIME! I thought I was going to see the heavens open at any moment.
So good to see you at the luncheon. What a wonderful surprise.
Thanks for giving of yourself for Christ and us.
It’s amazing how wonderful worshipping with the Siestas was. LOVE. IT.
Can’t wait for the next Siesta meeting.
Sheryl
The trip to ATL was amazing and my mind is still just reeling around all the fellowship and worshipping that us Siestas did together! When the DVD comes out (I did a pre-order), there will be a showing for all my friends to experience the presence of God that was there!
Georgia Jan said what I was thinking to write when I read the blog. You are a person that takes the time to listen to what is important to people, beautiful inside and out. Thank You!!
Melissa, that would be freaky! Sorry you didn’t get to sleep until 3 am with the busy schedule you had all weekend.
Amanda, you are in my prayers with the count down to baby girl’s arrival! Hope you are staying comfortable.
So wish I could have been there too! What an amazing week-end! Sounds like the Lord was all over it! I was praying for every part.
Can’t wait to worship with Travis and company at the minister’s wives event in March! The Mercy Seat song tears me up every time.
Would loved to meet up with other siestas in March. I am coming alone so if any of you are going to be there in Nashville, I would love to see you!
Much love to you Beth
Kristi B.
Are any siestas wanting to get together at the LPL event in Portland, Oregon?
I totally forgot the jacket. My husband is always telling me to buy more yellow clothes, his favorite color. What is the criteria? There is no way I can wear it as cute as you, but I am blonde, 5’5…j/k, it was adorable. Melissa has great taste in clothes.
WoW! Wish I could have been there! Thanks for the highlights~
Blessings~ jan floyd~
Wow Beth! What actually happened in ATL? There are two dudes on one post! LOL! Obviously they are very smart!
Love you,
Judy
Thank you for sharing this experience with your Siestas! I felt like I was right there! I can honestly feel the love you have for us thank you for that and I hope you can feel our love for you and your family! Keep pressing on!
Love,
Crissy

It’s not like I have nothing else to do…. It’s not that I have 4 kids that I am supposed to be homeschooling… or that my laundry is piled to the ceiling.
No. I am sitting here reading comments on the LPM blog. SOOOO, it serves me right when I read Mocha with Linda’s comment about a DEAD GUY IN A HOTEL ROOM which causes my curiousity to be piqued until it physically hurts. So now I MUST ask:
What?! Seriously? Did that happen to you?
I would be much obliged if you would expound upon that in all of YOUR free time. 😉 C’mon, Mama Beth, shirk your responsibilities with me/us for a moment…
Two things…
1. “Ain’t no high like the Most High” is my favorite “Bethism” too.
I love it, I love it, I love it!
2. OMG!!!! THE GOVERNOR’S MANSION?! OMG! Our Governor Jindal is a Christian too!

Beth, is your hair blonder? It seems blonder to me. ;0). You look as BEAUTIFUL as ever. I can’t WAIT to see you in Portland in April! Love you sweet siesta!
Love,
Your little siesta in Oregon

One More Thing…
I am in TOTAL agreement with Alisha about the pricelessness of “The Red Book”. 🙂

Beth,
What a wonderful recap… made me feel like I was there. I had already heard worship was life altering… Travis is a precious conduit for God’s Spirit to move.
As you say… “All this and Jesus too!”
I tell you what cracks me up is that you wanted to run a lap and yet the church was so reserved you couldn’t! That is the biggest joke between me and my friends in the choir. We go to a baptist church and the deacons can’t sing and clap at the same time (I’m just sayin’) and so IMAGINE the shock on their faces if we just cut loose and RAN a big ol’ lap praising Jesus!!! OH we just threaten it every single Sunday and crack up! One day it is gonna happen and my in-laws go to that church. I think I would be disowned by the church and my family! WHO CARES!?!?! Let’s get some praise on people!!
Beth,
What a Great recap!
It was such an amazing weekend – we Southern Siestas had the time of our lives
God really blessed our time of fellowship – I honestly do not think I could have laughed harder!
The Worship time with Travis and crew was unbelievable!!!
and you described it so well – when Angela C sang Mercy Seat the Spirit was upon us
I was just sobbing and so grateful to be worshipping at the feet of Jesus!
It was a true glimpse of Heaven
Thank you again for surprising us on Sunday – it was so much fun! Totally unexpected but such a wonderful surprise 🙂
I think my favorite part was you playing with my hair LOVED IT
– it is my love language – hehe
Seriously though – you are so genuine and sincere
A wonderful woman of God
Thank you for continually seeking, serving, and obeying Him
Love you
Kim
Wow! sounds like you had a blast! You won’t believe where I am! The laundromat! The drum came lose in my dryer and started chewing up all my clothes. So here I am! The good news is that my new dryer will be delivered today before 5 p.m. But in the meantime I have some clothes that have to be done!
I love Atlanta and I am sure that Janet Reeves would have ran laps with you. We miss Janet in TX but know they are where God has called. thanks for all the hillarious adventures

Mamma Beth:
I just wanted to say to you… I got it!!!! You have helped me catch Buddy’s legacy. I just I needed to say Thank you! For Helping me Burn with Desire for the Lord.
Today at work we were all listening to your CD’s the God who Is, Was and to Come!… Praise you Jeses the whole office listened to it all day long!!!! I am on Fire and Yes it is for Him but I just want to say… you are the most awesome messenger for HIS WORD!!! This little girl loves her siesta Momma.
Just wanted you to know!
Lichelle
I can’t even begin to put words to how wonderful and moving and meaningful last Sunday night was. I was privileged and blessed to be part of the choir, and on stage sitting beside one of Travis’ friends at that. It feels like my earthquake, typhoon and hurricane have all hit this last year. But you are right, people are watching us to see what we do. Thank God that He showed me that from the beginning. Whatever happens to us nothing will separate us from His love, as we repeated over (and over and over on Saturday) and over. My prayer that our response to this time in our lives will only point others to our gracious, merciful God who is so worthy of our praise. May He be glorified through our circumstances!
Thank you, Beth, for being here.
Oh my stars, what a wonderful weekend of worship. I’m still singing Mercy Seat — Coming Running!!!! The whole night I was just blown away.
Beth thanks for the top 10 — you are too funny and I’m working on finding that cool blogger name.
And sister Siestas….I want y’all to know that this whole get together just started off as a “hey, let’s meet in Atlanta” thing and morphed into something bigger. Tammy (gratefulinGA) was sweet and gracious enough to head up the whole lunch thing. But, I know she never intended to leave one Siesta out! She has too big of a heart to think that.
We started this crazy get together on Facebook and it just grew and grew — and when Beth walked in… what a blessing!
These Siestas are a blessing in my life and I look forward to lots more get togethers with them and with any Siesta who can join us!!
I don’t want anyone to feel as if they were left out! My heart breaks for those who were left out of the loop — it was never intentional!
Drop me a line and I’ll let you know when I hear of anything coming up.
You are so awesome. I don’t reply to your blogs much but I love them so. You are just so real and Jesus just shines through. I’m blessed through you and Jesus is glorified every time I hear you talk or read your word. Thank you, Thank you!
Vicki
I was blessed to be there this week-end–drove from Charleston, SC and it was worth getting home at 4am!!! I completely agree about the “Mercy Seat” I almost couldn’t contain myself. When Angela sang that and then started crying at the end–you could tell the Holy Spirit had just taken her over and used her. And then she wept. And it was beautiful-a truly holy moment finishing up with Lord, have mercy. Anyway, I was honored and blessed by all your teaching as well. You and Travis are an awesome ministry team that compliment each other beautifully. I left the church changed by the hand of God, spoken to, ministered to and blessed. God bless you both for what you do!
These are hilarious! Glad to see I am not the only one not allowed to go to dances or prom.
My song that stops me in my tracks and bring me to happy tears is
Dan Fogelberg’s song ‘Longer’. My sweetie played it as he proposed to me, dubbing it our song. My sweet sister in love sang it through tears at our wedding.
I adore this man of mine and the song he chose for us. I even surprised him by having ‘I will love you, longer than’ engraved inside his wedding band.
Sappy but true! Oh, where’s the tissue for goodness sakes!!
LOL1! hey ya’ll I put my comments on the wrong post, being so faclempt and all. Please delete them and I will try to find the correct comment space.
love ya’ll,
inga – one of the clogger-bloggers!
How exciting being able to have a “PJ” party in the governor’s mansion!! I remember seeing the governor’s wife at the Deeper Still event.
Will there be any Siesta meeting when you come to Pittsburgh PA in June?

Oh, Beth, you are priceless! I know you don't know me from Adam (or Eve!), but I have considered you a siesta for a long time (BTW, LOVE that word!). God has used you in a mighty way in my life to open up a deep love for His Word. I haven't been on this site for awhile and so enjoyed catching up with you & your precious girls…like catching up w/ family I haven't seen in awhile! Thanks for sharing your lives with us in this way. Wish I would have been in ATL. Sounds like God showed up powerfully!
15 days lady! And that’s all I got to say about THAT!!! Grin….Love y’all
Hey Beth,
I really hate that I missed meeting you at my mother-in-law’s house last weekend. Ms. Mary told me you would be coming to visit but I couldn’t make the trip from TN. I am glad to see that you enjoying visiting with my family. I am married to Jim, their third child. You are a blessing to my life. Ms. Jan is a hoot!
Stephanie Perdue
I have to add my two cents about the Purdues. My son is in seminary in Memphis. He is the interim worship pastor at Crosspoint Baptist Church. Their pastor is Jim Purdue, Gov. Purdue’s son. My son, Justin, said that Jim is a mighty man of God as well.
Great Gene Pool!!!!
Beth, I do wish you wouldn’t put yourself down. So what you couldn’t remember the name of a song, it isn’t a travesty, you are just busy that’s all.
Christine ~ Fort Madison, IA
Thank you for the recap and highlights of the weekend! Sounds wonderful!
I am exicitedly awaiting June because I get to finally see you in “person” in Stockton, Ca. Can’t wait!!!
I know it has been four days but I had to comment on the wonderful weekend we had. I posted the day of but I think it was erased.
Bethie, you blessed us so much and I am blown away at the way we all felt so conected with you and each other the whole weekend. It is truly the Lord’s knitting together and I came away flyin’ high. Worshipping with you right there with us making eye contact so we knew you were choosing to be with your Siestas just ministered to my heart.
Thanks you for coming to visit with us in that little fireside room and I look forward to worshipping the All Consuming Fire with you again.
Oh and you are a GREAT storyteller, it just makes me feel like I am one of your best friends when you share your stories like you do.
Oh, I just returned from my anniversary trip with my husband not realizing the fun I left behind in ATL with my siestas. Don’t get me wrong … I wouldn’t trade my 25th anniversary trip, but oh, how I would have love to meet everyone in the Atlanta area. Georgia Jan, do you think we can organize a siesta blog luncheon for the area bloggers sometime? How great would that be!!
What an awesome time of praise! We are Houston transplants and have been in the ATL for 9 months. FBCW is our new church home and we were so blessed and encouraged by Travis’s concert. We have been privileged to attend your Houston Bible study since my daughter were 3 and 4 years old (They are now 13 and 14). It felt like being home again to hear you and Travis together. Thanks for an awesome night of worshipping our King.
Any Idea when the DVD will come out?
