LPL – Vancouver

In the first picture you will see the event team, praise team, and sound/lighting/video team – basically everyone but our friend Rich, who is responsible for taking these great pictures. Thanks, Rich! And congratulations to the Living Proof Live team on ten years of serving Christ together!

Dear Beth, Betsy & Team with much love and thanksgiving from Dawn (Vancouver City Coordinator)

One word WOW! What a GREAT GREAT GOD! Absolutely over and above any of my expectations completely…and I was expecting ALOT from our God who is BIG! Betsy you asked me during dinner on Thursday with your team what I was looking forward to the most at the conference and I told you it was definitely the altar call. Today God blew me out of the water as I realized how exact my discernment was…Vancouver and surrounding area women are starving to hear the Word of God like that! How we need that living water splashed on us. Thank you LORD. How we needed Beth here in Vancouver to do just that. Thanks for doing everything in an exemplary manner to make this happen. We are blessed here today in Vancouver.

The altar call was amazing…the isles were lined up to the end of the stadium and the altar was packed with women “doing business with God” and even just one more note couldn’t be piled and left on the altar as ladies laid their burdens there and received prayer, those notes fell to the floor where women were on their knees sobbing before our LORD. WOW WOW WOW! LifeWay’s Paige said that they have been doing this for 10 years and this number of women coming forward was a record. Praise God for their courage to come forward today LORD, I pray a continued mighty work in their lives as we contnue pray over each of those notes & lives.

I wrote this to Rossyln who will write an article for BC Christian News about this event: PS: WOW … God did a mighty work today…even when we drove home…His Glory just kept being revealed and being shown to us that He IS GOD! Did you see His Glory through the amazing sunlit rays in a very spectacular and peculiar way over Vancouver on the ride home? He is so good to us.

Many blessings to all from Vancouver, BC.
Please pray for Marilyn, the City Coordinator for Florida where the next event will be held at the end of this month. We felt your prayers in Vancouver.

Great pictures. I pray the next 10 years bring more glory to God than the 1st ten years and women are saved, healed, and delivered from the kingdom of darkness and become the Siestas our Lord has called them to be.

I was at the Vancouver event with my daughters; we cried, we laughed, we talked, we hugged, we decided that we MUST do another conference together! Siesta Beth, thank you so much for obeying God so He could speak through you to each of my precious girls, and to me! God really does see it all, nothing is hidden; He sees it, He saw it, and He will handle it (praise His name).
What a joy to have a faithful and sympathetic High Priest, and we can run to the God whose character is “gracious and merciful”
    I’m just loving Hebrews 4:12-16!

Ooo! You guys are right – Beth is wearing the Payless shoes – and looking ever so darling!

Sorry…just reading the other posts made me go back and look, and I got so excited. I don’t know why. It’s not like we went shopping together – it just FEELS like we did! And so I’m geeked to see you wear ’em, Beth!

Thank you for sharing this wonderful event! It made me remember the Kansas City event I went to in 2005. Hab. 3:19~ I still have the words around my house, even in the laundry room cabinet so every time I do laundry I can see those words. Thank you teaching us the importance of memorizing scripture! I can’t thank you enough! God is so good and I love learning His Word, even though I am not the best at it, I am still learning.
I got the LPM calendar and am learning each month’s memory verse and then I am currently half way through the Stepping UP class and I am learning Ps. 121:1-8 (I have 1-6 almost completely down!) I love God’s word and how relevant it is to our every day situations.
Thank you for sharing Amanda! I would LOVE to go to another LPM event!!
Have a great day! May God bless you richly!
    Love,
    Lori

    Beth,

I was there!! I have never felt the Spirit of the Living God like that in my life! Thank you Beth for being a servant and allowing God to use you.

I would say your style is nothing like “vomit”. I absolutely love how you see every moment in your life, with your family, in Starbucks, as an application for a biblical principle. God has given you a powerful gift! Thank you for putting in the time to study and giving your all to be His and to share what God is teaching you.

Every time I get tempted to take back what I laid on the “altar” I am remembering to just thank Jesus that He’s already taken it.

I am praying that God gives you rest and encouragement today!

    With much love and appreciation,

    Betsy — http://www.h2os.org

Oh, and please thank Travis and the worship team! There was some AWESOME praising going on in that place! All the songs are still stuck in my head!!

Loved the Vancouver event. It was so interesting and spritually valuable and I had God speak some words to me that I desperately needed to hear about my secrets and needs. Thank-you Beth and Lifeway and Living Proof teams for all of your hard work.

For me the hard work comes next, to face up to those needs and live out those words day by day. Thank God for His mercy and grace!

Beth, are you scolding the young lady that is taking a photo
( hopefully, those are not binoculars hahaa) or are you making a point with your pointer finger????? What a crack up!
I can hardly believe that it has been a year since I have seen you in person. San Francisco was such a treat! Loved seeing Keith, TOD and Amanda too! Dave still loved hanging out with all the thousands of women that weekend!Everyone kept asking Dave and I if we were related to you! I answered, ” Do I really look that much like Beanie?” 🙂
Come visit us on the central coast!

Congratulations,Beth and the who LPM team, on 10 years together! I have been fortunate to enjoy and be blessed by it all for 8 of those 10 years in bible studies, events, and now this wonderful blog.

I, too, noticed those great Payless shoes you were wearing. I have to confess…I was at Payless later on and there they were….sitting right on the shelf….looking so totally adorable…then I had to try them on….and I could not leave the store without them!!

We’re beginning Breaking Free this coming Wednesday night in my church. I am the new Women’s Ministry leader and fairly new to our church (2 years) and the ladies had never heard of Beth Moore. Can you even imagine that!! Now we have 100 women signed up for bible study and they can’t wait after seeing the promos for a month!! I know God is going to do great things in their lives through this. He did for me 8 years ago the first time I went through Breaking Free! It changed my life!!

Love to you and your wonderful family.

    Beth,
Thank you for obeying God and letting Him speak through you. This was my first LPL, and if I was allowed, I would be a groupie and folow you around just to feel that awesome power of our ever-present God again and again.
Thanks to Travis and his team. I was so touched when he encouraged us to pray with those around us who are suffering.
My friend who attended with me, and I, are both military spouses whose husbands are on the verge of deploying. I am so thankful she was there with me, because we will certainly share a lot of U2Me2s!
Oh, and thank you for staying on stage and praying with those women that brought stuff up during the break. Your love for women that you’ve never met before is incredible, and I will keep that in my mind (as well as Travis’s songs) for a very long time.
Oh, and I LOVED the jacket you wore on Saturday! I kept looking at the big screen just so that I could see the flowered details!

Hey, I’m happy to say that I am probably one of the few siestas that had no clue this event took place. Some great siesta I am…honestly, I can’t believe I’m spelling siesta in the first place…it’s kinda like a cult ya know….first it’s the spelling of the word sister wrong, then it’s the accent coming to me in my dreams and pretty soon I’ll be wearing cowgirly boots.

Anyway, sorry to digress here…but I think this whole thing with ten years ROCKS!
How cool is that that God would use you in such a nice way.

I love it! And I love the pictures. 🙂 And I love you too, even though I missed out in praying for this event. I’ve got your back in future events.

    Love,

    My Dear Beth!
You may think of your style as vomit but God sure used it to touch my heart and the hearts of my bf and sister here in Vancouver. The whole event was such a blessing to me. Travis and team just brought me to such an awesome place of praise and worship (I definitely suffered a set back in my recovery from laryngitis 🙂 ) I’ve almost got Hebrews 4:12-16 memorized and God has already showed me the passage in Ephesians that’s coming next.
    Love you!

Congrats! I was just feeling sorry for myself that you are not coming anywhere near Ohio, when I checked to see who would be at music in the rockies this year, and I see Travis Cottrell will be there! My husband has been thinking about going this year (he is the musician, not me.) Well now I have a reason to talk him into going!

    Beth,
I have to ask…what are you wearing? Is that a skirt or gouchos?

I am so disappointed that you have not been to Ohio. I don’t know if you’ve made it here in the last 10 years, but I know you haven’t been here in the last four and yet you’ve been to Kentucky twice (or will be when you go to Louisville in August) not that I’m jeoulous or anything. :o)

Just tell me what to do and I’ll do it. We want you in Columbus!!! :o)

I will see you in simulcast but it’s not the same as being there. Everytime I see you it’s like my own little revival. Travis is so wonderful and I get so much from the praise and worship and your messages. I’ll never forget Lexington, KY when the first service began with the names of God flashing upon the screen. It was amazing! I felt the Holy Spirit all over me from that moment on.

Bless the Lord, He is so good to give you all to us!

While I’m on a roll (entry for movie), I just want to thank Rich for ALL the pictures you take and share with us. You truly are a gift! Beth makes the study happen, but my hat is off to the many behind-the-scenes folks (Rich included) that make such an event just that – such an event!

Truly, you capture the moment so the rest of us can share it and share in it.

Thanks to all the hands that make it possible. Without you, there is no show!

This makes me so excited for the San Antonio LPL!

Siestas, I have to tell y’all…I was behind on my bible study homework (here in Houston we are going through Beth’s Breaking Free study) and this weekend I had to take my car to get the seats cleaned (I eat breakfast on the way to work, what can I say!). So I went to the car wash and they said it would be about an hour…perfect! I grabbed my homework and bible and walked inside. I sat on a nice couch available off to the side and then I noticed something….they had Christian music on the radio!

I thought you Siestas would appreciate God’s humor- it doesn’t matter where you study our Father’s word…we can even enjoy his presence in a car wash!! 🙂 God bless y’all!

I’m sure you look forward to hearing how lives are touched by your ministry.
I wanted to post a story of an amazing experience we encountered immediately after we left the LPL event in Vancouver.
My friend and I thought we should look for someone to share a cab with back to the downtown area. I suppose we thought we could save some money by sharing a cab, but God had other plans for us….when there stood “Amanda”, a 24 year old homeless girl. She was actually already in a cab and then decided to give it to some other ladies who had been waiting longer. We did wonder how she would even be able to pay for a taxi on her own. Then she got out and stood next to us – as she began to tell us of how her life had been changed forever after listening to Beth’s message that day.
As she spoke her story amazed us. She was very excited and happy with all that had happened to her that day. She told us of her history of troubles. She was from Ottawa Ontario, and had been on the streets for 7 years and in Vancouver just 4 months. She told us that her adopted mother was a Christian, and she was not going back to the street but straight to a shelter to contact her adopted mother and go home right away.
God had everything in hand, from the free wrist band that was given to her as she stood crying and starving on the street, prior to the conference never having heard of Beth Moore’s teachings. Some one had bought her the “Breaking Free” bible study, another a journal, another had given her a beautiful personal bible with a daisy on it. Several had handed her money and fed her. It is truly and example of how our Lord will provide for all our needs. My friend and I had the great privilege of being able to be the next piece in that puzzle in paying for her cab ride back to the downtown area, giving her some money for food and encouraging her to never look back and keep going home. She was clearly overwhelmed by the love she had been shown throughout that day. She said she wanted to do the Beth Moore Bible study with her adopted mom. We feel so blessed to have been able to help her. The opportunity fell right into our lap.
We just had to share this story with you so you could be blessed the way we were by it. He truly does have every little piece of our lives firmly in His hand. How amazing and gracious our God is.
    Please pray for Amanda.
    In His love,
    Shelley & Donna
