Towards the very beginning of this year Beth mentioned doing something one day that she’d had the desire to do, give away her books for free.
Well, today on December 31st, the last day of 2013, that dream is coming true!
B&H Publishing Group made available a selection of her books until January 10th, 2014 for free on any e-reader! No money to you whatsoever! The only requirement is that you indeed, own an e-reader of some sort, whether it be a nook, kindle or an iBook. (However, if you don’t have an e-reader, you can also download the Kindle app on your smartphone.)
B&H posted a blog with all of the details so to keep from being reduntant, but to help spread the word, I am linking to it here!

Super idea! I am sending out this information to friends by email, and on my Facebook page. I encouraged friends to share with those they know who are not regular church goers. Also, I sent this too the woman pastor at our church in charge of small groups. We also have 2 Spanish services, so I hope they will try to get some books too.

Thank you so much for your generosity. God is blessing so many, myself included. I had purchased two books of yours for Christmas as a gift to myself off of Amazon. My sister in law is going through a very hard time, so I gave her the book I hadn’t begun reading/writing in. It was a sacrifice because I really, really wanted it for myself. My pastor had spoken about offering a good gift of ours to one in need, so I felt content, not expecting anything in return. In fact, her reaction gave me joy.

I don’t normally comment but I have to tell you that this is HUGE! For so long, good Christian resources have been so expensive, that let’s be honest, a lot of America can’t afford to buy them. Especially Bible study resources. I have found this frustrating and very sad. Publishers have made such a money making business out of these resources that it limits who can reach them, and those that might really need them are left out. I understand they have to make money but- money or getting the Word into the hearts of people…which is most important?
So, having these books for free is amazing. Now, I have to admit, I could probably afford to get some if they weren’t free but I know many who can’t and I am encouraged and rejoicing that they now have access to these books. Books they can keep and reference as needed and not have to take back to the library.
Thank you for getting these resources into more hearts that need it. That’s the way to make ministry be about the Kingdom and not about profit.
The impact this may have will probably be more far reaching than you could ever imagine!
