Thanks again Beth for blessing us last weekend in the Springs. You must be exhausted we sure were, but rested in the Lord and went over my notes and ready to make some changes!

(please don’t feel like you have to post this – i realize its completely psycho. it just hit a nerve. sorry)

ok so are we now only allowed to use christian internet sites to post videos? like is it wrong not to?i don’t mean to sound weird or rude, i really am asking b/c i am just confused @ why utube would be so bad? i know it has crazy stuff but its also where most people view videos. not @ godtube or whatever its called. you’d think if you wanted to “reach” ppl you’d post it @ websites “those ppl” visit, not on something specifically designed for christians and viewed by christians only.. just typing this makes me mad b/c when ppl use terms like “reach” or say little comments its like insulting and makes me realize i don’t fit in and also that its one more thing i am doing wrong and didnt even realize. its not like i look @ the filth on there i am normal and not some weird devil person. i am sorry if this is rude or out of line b/c i know its sounding like that. i am not meaning to be. i guess i am probably reading to much into it. i just know for myself i am not that strong of a christian, but am trying to change things. the reason i have always had a hard time is b/c i can’t be perfect and its just to much to keep up with to have to try and be so i am not judged or considered “less than” by christians.. anyway, i look at utube every once in awhile and when i saw the little comment it was like, ok now that’s wrong too.. i dont fit in with all of this and i am becoming more ok with that when fitting in means i have to be a part of a god type facebook or myspace and look at godtube not utube. is there a godgum or coffee i should know about? dont get me wrong this isnt really about god its not him i am struggling with its actual ppl. oh, and also im not a “desperate soul” b/c i look @ utube. AND if god broke godtube so this video could be posted on utube thats weird to me too.

Kate, I understand your frustration. We have used You Tube a number of times before and almost every time I have gotten complaints about a shady video being advertised on our page or that someone clicked on a link that led them to questionable material. That’s why we prefer to use God Tube on this blog and that’s why I asked everyone not to click off our video. I do not think it’s inherently wrong to use You Tube, nor do I think You Tube users are bad. I certainly don’t believe Christians need an alternative to every single form of media or entertainment. But if I can take steps to avoid having to clean up a mess and apologize later, I will do it. I hope that helps clarify where I was coming from. If anyone has further questions or comments, please email me at blog@lproof.org. Thanks so much.

    Hey , Kate {{{ hug }}}

Your post reminded me of me from a few years back when I wasn’t as you said , a ” strong CHristian ” yet either. I also questioned things as I strived to be a good Christian and never feeling like I measured up to other Christians. I was SO NERVOUS around the long-time Christians , who knew all the ” lingo ” and the right and wrong things to say or do . Oh how ANXIOUS I stayed around Christians for so long. Eventually I learned that it wasn’t about me being perfect , it was about my relationship with the One True God. And what I was seeing in other people was just the result of them ALSO being in relationship with the Great I AM.

So , no , it’s not about whether you watch You Tube or not , as Amanda already pointed out. We do just * try* to keep our thoughts on what God would have us to see and hear. His Word says everything is permissable but not everything is beneficial.

You just brought back some memories. And I encourage you to keep asking questions because that is a GOOD thing. And the more you read in God’s Word , the more you’ll get a bigger picture of Who God is. We’ll never know Him in His entirety here on earth , but we can START now. : )

    God bless you Kate.

Love , from your sister in Christ ,
    Elizabeth

Dear Beth and the LPM team I want to thank you for letting God work through all of you to reach us women. I cry when I see the recap. To see all those women. I know what it does for me when I go to one and I am so thankful for all the women who can attend and very thankful for the recaps that we all can enjoy! Praise God!!!

    Joanne (The Simple Wife) says:

As you said, you ALL left everything up on that stage last weekend!

Thanks for bringing it–it took courage, I think, to bring a hard message. (Especially after all that asher happiness in Denver last fall!)

I’m still thinking it all through, organizing my notes, and asking God to reveal the specifics of what this looks like in my everyday life.

But the way up is the way down, so I’m on my living room floor each morning telling God I want to “want to” do this! Whatever it takes.

    Love you so much!

    Joanne

P.S. And LOVED your Saturday jacket–and bare feet!

This was such an AWESEOME weekend! The message was spot-on and the praise and worship was phenomenal! I was blessed to attend with our beautiful 23 yr. old daughter; tears were flowing when we blessed one another at the end. I just bought my plane ticket to Las Vegas for Deeper Still! Can’t wait! You are a blessing

I bawled all the way through the video and found myself just praising Him at the end for His goodness to us all! Wow! What a powerful time-very obvious that the LORD was in the midst! Thank you for sharing it-I love to see women set free in Christ!
Thanks Amanda and for whoever (Rich?) took the video!

I was at this event! I’ve done 7 Beth Moore studies in the Denver area. I’ve loved every study…….but to see Beth teach live……….WOW! It was so amazing to hear her love for the Lord and HIS Word. Thank you for being so bold and reminding us that we are called to deny OURSELVES……take up our cross and follow CHRIST daily. Being in this “ME” generation, I was truly blessed and convicted to hear Beth share something that is so contrary to what many churches are teaching. God requires much of us….and if we will truly learn to give it up, then (and only then) will we be able to live it up! God bless you, Beth! Thank you, also for utilizing the talents of Travis Cottrell and the Praise Team. I was truly blessed!!! I am planning to be at Deeper Still in Vegas in September and am bringing women from our church!!!
Thank you so much for being God’s servant! And as requested by you, Beth, we will be praying that you grow more and more in love with Jesus each day!

Just thought you’d like to know that your Mom is so very proud of you and Melissa. She shared at the Women Fully Loaded lunch about you, Curtis, and little Jackson. Boy, is she in love with him! My husband and I also work in ministry with my parents. It is a great blessing!

I just wanted you to know that she sang your praises!

We moved to Colorado in February and began visiting churches (still looking for “the one”). One Sunday during a visit, my husband noticed an announcement in the bulletin that “Beth was comin’ to town”. SuhWEET Fancy Moses! I wanted to go but didn’t want to spend the money (refer to big move mentioned above)…and I kind of didn’t want to go by myself. My darling husband would ask if I was going and I kept saying, “I don’t know.” Finally, he says to me, “I feel like the Holy Spirit is pushing me to push you to go. So, you can order the tickets or I will do it for you.”

Um, so I was in the arena on Friday and Saturday. Glory to the Lord! There just aren’t words. I cannot thank my husband enough for insisting that I go. I really wish I could put into words what this weekend meant to me. God was there and I felt as though He put all of that together just for me. I’m sure others walked away feeling the same way but it was so personal and so profound that I have found it difficult to express myself with any sort of coherency when talking to others about it.

As an added bonus, I ended up sitting smack dab in the middle of an amazing group of ladies! They even invited me to visit their churches. I’m sure I would have enjoyed going with a friend or my mom or sisters but I am also certain I would have missed out on the unique blessing of what “being alone” afforded me. Even chatting with a complete stranger in the line for the bathroom was a blessing.

I’m so thankful for the Word the Lord sent with you, Beth – life altering doesn’t even begin to describe it.

Can someone help – I have been trying to find some of the music played at the Colorado Springs conference, but don’t know names of songs or if they are available. One starts out, “Lord Almighty” and leads to proclaiming the names of God. Another sings the names of God. Does anyone know what I am talking about and where I can get them, i.e. which albums? I am hoping there is a version by Travis I can download.

Ms.Beth, thank you so much for the powerful word you brought to all of us in the Springs. I am still digesting all you said and what all God wants me to overcome with that word. You are precious to me and God has used your studies to impact me greatly. I left my wrong thinking at the altar that day then on Sunday God called our church to bow low and give him more of us and I realized I need to give him all my mind not just my wrong thinking. Praise him! He is so faithful for us to just as you said, give it up to live it up!
    Come back soon!!

Many thanks for your faithfulness to Jesus. The Holy Spirit was in that place in Co Spgs and used your precious self, Beth, to minister to us. My Daughter was with me and has recently recommitted to Christ. She was bawling and praying from the minute she walked in on Friday night until we left on Saturday. Please come back soon to Colorado. Blessings to you and yours.

Satan did not want me to attend this event! He tried in all kinds of ways to get me to stay home. My hubby…thankfully….refused to play into Satan’s schemes because one hint from him that he wanted me to stay would have kept me home…but he refused to give me an excuse not to go. He is a good man in love with our LORD!!! Even as I set out over the mountains on Friday morning I came within a breath of turning around when I reached Vail and saw the bad roads. I knew if they were bad in Vail they would be even worse over the passes. I called my husband….his encouragement was for me to stay in Vail for a little while to see what the weather would do….so I pulled into a McD’s and began to pray. I did not want to walk in fear but I wanted to be wise and so I needed direction. I opened my Bible….to Psalm 121 I read that He would not allow my foot to slip…that He is my keeper…that the LORD would protect me and guard my going out and coming in….I read it and knew that I needed to keep driving…..But Lord….I called out….something more tangible….can you please just make it REALLY clear…and as I prayed a policeman pulled up next to me…his car had obviously been on the icy snowy slushy roads. I was able to talk to him and receive assurance that the roads were indeed getting better and that I should have no trouble if I took my time. God is SO good. I love that He cares about the details of our lives and cared enough to give me what I needed to get over that hill…because He knew I needed to sit under your teaching this weekend. God had work to do in my heart and there was no way He was going to be stopped. Praise God! I love Him so much. Thank you Beth and Travis for being his faithful servants. I am so blessed!

Seeing this video took me back to Salt Lake and Omaha. LPL is moving on video but there is NOTHING like experiencing it live. I can hardly wait! San Antonio’s the next for me and then just a little after that I’ll be there again in Billings!

Just by viewing the clip I was overwhelmed at the obvious presence of God at this conference. I am always amazed at how Beth lets God use her and how he brings so many people together. My mom hopes Beth has another event soon near West Virginia so that she can see and hear the message one more time before she goes to be with the Lord. Her health is slipping and she tells me she can’t live forever. Thanks Beth for letting God use you.

Oh this has got to be one of the most BEAUTIFUL things I have ever seen. I have never been to one of your events and was just introduced to Beth through the Daniel study (what an introduction!) God bless you all for what you are doing and what He’s doing through you! If you ever come to the Buffalo area I will be there with bells on and my hands raised!

Ohh I was absolutely crushed to have missed this event. I bought my ticket a LONG time ago and caught a terrible cold combined with a touch of the flu on Wednesday. I was going to go ahead and attend but decided I had better not. My family was leaving for DisneyWorld on Sunday evening and I figured I had better be rested and ready for our first family vacation since we got married and had kids. Needless to say, I really missed going.

Praise God you got to come to Colorado Springs. I hope you enjoyed your visit and the region. It is truly an amazing location.

    Blessings
