Wow! Haven’t been on here in forever it seems. First, as some of you know I got caught up in this horrible thing called addiction and then when I sobered up I developed this thing I believe they call a life. Wow! Who knew I could have such a thing! Anyway, I hope to be on here more often, but I wouldn’t count on it. I’m now a single mom (long story. Well, who am I kidding, it’s all a long story.)and I’m taking classes and looking for a job. (Not sure when I’m going to have time for that, but apparently money does not grow on trees.) Anyway, sorry for the long lapse.

Beth I was at your last conference a week ago in Southern CA, When I got there I realized I had not brought my Bible, just tearing me up no Bible. Prior to the event opening, my daughters and I went shopping for a a couple shirts at the “Ross for Less” store. As I walked thru the door, I asked the young lady at the door if they had Bibles, which she responded “ Oh know we don’t have Bibles”. As I walked the isles I came across a book section, right there and behold there was a Bible, I almost burst with tears. You just never known how wonderful our God is, taking such good care of us. What a blessing.

You GO GIRL! It breaks my heart that it needs to be said, but I’m so proud of you for saying it. Our group is currently studying Stepping Up – the Psalms of Assent. We are loving it! God bless you for all you do. We are loving the study and we love you too. I’ll be saying a special prayer for you today.
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. Psalm 28:7

Thank you, thank you, for another amazing LPL event in San Diego! I’ve been privileged to learn and be inspired by Beth 3 times in San Diego. I always tell people that Beth is “on fire” for our Lord and she spreads that fire and excitement in my inner being!

I understand you have a conference in Calgary on the 23rd of June 2018. I am wondering where in Calgary, as I would like to go to it from Edmonton.

    Hi Beth,
I’ve been meaning to write to you for a very long time. I attended this LP Conference in San Diego. It was truly a gift from God. I hadn’t even heard you were coming to SD and was offered a free ticket from a friend. I was personally struggling with some health issues and other emotional burdens and thought I just didn’t have the energy to go. But I soon realized I just had to find the energy and strength to go, that there would be something for me personally. It was a very difficult time in my life for several reasons, one being health issues and one being a situation with my oldest daughter who was living in an abusive relationship and dealing with severe mental illnesses. For nights on end I feared and almost expected a call telling me she had taken her life. I tried so many things to help her and felt so powerless in the situation. I felt sad, overwhelmed, depressed and desperate daily. I poured out my heart to God constantly on her behalf. So I came to the LP event. I was with people i knew from my Moms In Touch group but it wasn’t my usual friend group. I felt a bit anxious about that but pushed through . Worshiping in song happens to be my most favorite thing to do in all of life so once the music started all was wonderful. I worshiped un-inhibited and with abandon. It was wonderful. It was healing to my weary soul. I came back on Saturday, every part was wonderful but there were a few highlights. I love know you are my same age and still going strong, doing the incredible work God has called you to. during one of the breaks I wondered out to the merchandise area, picked up a few LP T-shirts and THEN, as I was walking through the lobby area God spoke to me. Almost audibly 🙂 but straight to my heart. He said to me “I have something for you”. To this day I could guess what that “something” is but i’m not totally sure. But it gave me SUCH HOPE! I will never forget this moment as long as I live. Later in the day you had an alter call for people to come down for prayer, I was out of my seat and down to the stage immediately. I had to join with others to cry out for my precious daughter (who, by the way, has 4 children. All are on the Autistic Spectrum). I had to do battle for her very life. I was on my knees praying for her and someone came up behind me, put there arm around me and began to pray for me. When I looked up, it was YOU! I was so blessed and honored to be loved and touched by God through you. I ended up with your Kleenex in my hand as you moved on to pray for others that day and I have saved it as a reminder of God’s faithfulness and your blessing. I absolutely love that you come down off of the stage and take time to be with people, to touch them, to pray for them to minister to them. It is such a blessing! And as you did the alter call for people to give their lives to Jesus how you got down on your knees and across the stage touched and prayed with the people. it was so so beautiful to see. Thank you! As the day went on, another part of the event that i thoroughly enjoyed was the fun worship time just after the lunch time break. To sing and dance and worship with others in such a fun, freeing way was also a fun blessing. The event will be one I will never forget as long as I live. My life continues to be a challenge in many ways but God is faithful to carry me through. And I carry with me the message from God that “I have something for you” that I will never forget. I am very thankful to say that my daughter is getting help and getting better. She found the courage to get a divorce, found a counselor who is helping her heal from all of the trauma she has endured and found a medication that is helping significantly more than other medications she’s tried. And God has provided a job for me that enables me to pay her house payment and keep her and her children in a safe place with a good roof over their heads. And I continue to work to do all I can to keep them in that safe place and pray that God would be their provider so they can continue to be safe. Thank you for all you do, i was so incredibly blessed by you through this event and it continues to be a source of hope in my life even though it’s been a few years since the experience. May God continue to bless you and keep you and use you and protect you!
