Easter Reading from Beth

Dear Loved of God,

Rather than write a blog post as I normally do at this most sacred time on our Christian calendar, I felt that perhaps God was leading me to simply speak Scripture pertaining to the arrest, suffering, crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. My prayer is that God would use His own Word to stir your heart with remembrance toward the most pivotal weekend in all of human history. My hope is that you can grab 20 minutes over this Easter weekend to watch and listen in order to meditate on a Scripture narrative as powerful today as it was the day God inspired the pens of men.

I am deeply grateful to Stephen Proctor, one of my all-time favorite fellow-conspirators, for weaving in fitting but unobtrusive images and for Tony Anderson for providing music of his own composition.

Because of Jesus,
Beth

Sweet Beth, Thank you so much for this recording and all who put it together. I really appreciate it. This weekend was spent doing all kinds of activities w/the littles (including entertaining during church on that pew :)) and even though my mind was on our Risen Lord, it was nice to listen to this earlier this morning. Also, the combination of the scriptures w/music and art was powerful. What a way to start my Monday!
    Thanks again!

I miss the Siesta Summer Bible Study! Please choose and do one with us this summer! That format was so perfect for the on-the-go pace of summer. It made it easy to study and connect with others without having to “be” anywhere on a certain day/time. I loved being able to take my Bible Study group with me wherever I roamed and watching your video thoughts. Please let me know if you will be doing one or if there is a different format you are now using for summer study. Thank you!
