God has turned FOR ME my irritation/feelings of inconvenience with my kids and is turning it into investment/interest in their lives. He has turned for me my old ways into His new ways. Thanking God for the opportunity to have another fresh start! Would love to have a copy of the commission we prayed over each other at the end on Saturday. I was there with my 9 year old daughter and the moment felt so powerful to be speaking such words of life over her!

I was so blessed this weekend at this event. I love Beth Moore even more now after seeing her in person. I have thought long and hard about what to put in the 2 blanks. This morning I went over all of my notes and the scriptures we read praying for what my turn needs to be. God revealed to me that I need for my fear to be turned into trust and peace. I also thought wouldn’t it be powerful to draw a picture of myself, name the times of mourning on that picture, and draw stitches over those things God has mended for me. Then turn over those things I have yet to give God and show them as tears in sackcloth until healing has happened in those areas as well. I did have a question. Could you email me the list of Praise Songs we sang. There was one song I would really like to download, but I don’t know the title. Thank you in advance for your time and thank you to Beth Moore for letting God use you to reach women like me.

God has turned FOR ME, my brokenness into REDEMPTION! I realized, not only is my God the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but MY GOD is the God of Rahab, the God of Bathsheba, the God of the Woman at the Well. That is my God and he has taken all of my shame, all of my hurt, all of my doubts, and all of my past regrets and he has made me new!

A weekend I will never forget – it’s my TURN, that He will turn my mourning into dancing! Looked up what the definition of ‘dance card’ – “a card bearing the name of a women’s prospective dance partners at a formal dance”. I’ve been pondering a bit what my dance card cost Him – overwhelmed and and freshly grateful. “For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then FACE TO FACE” 1 Cor. 13:12 Looking so forward to that face-to-face Formal Dance!!!! Much love and gratefulness from Bolivar, MO!!

I cried when I saw the recap. So excited with what God is doing.

    Paula Hutchings says:

I am overcome with emotion watching the recap. What spoke to me most is when Beth said that as she got older and was coming into the latter part of her ministry she is also realizing nothing is going to hold her back. She is saying to the evil one ‘Give it your best shot. Death will only bring me into the presence of God. So if death is what you need to stop me, go ahead, give it your best shot. ” I know that isn’t exactly how she said it, but maybe I was close. She was speaking to those that desired to teach and reminded us that spending 20 minutes in quiet time and then expecting to go teach wasn’t going to get it any more. We have to give it lots more, maybe fasting, lots of study, lots of prayer. I am challenged to give it all to Him! Thank you Beth and Thank you Father God for your hand on her life.

    Lorrie Kleier says:

What a joy and a blessing to be fed and nourished with the Bread of Life this last weekend. Thank you, Beth, for so freely giving of yourself from what God has generously given you. Please don’t wait so long to come back to Springfield, MO. It was “my turn” this weekend . . . and I want “another turn”! Love and best wishes to you, My Sister.

    Stephanie Albritton says:

Oh, I can’t even express what this recap means to me personally! This journey has been such a gift and I’m just so grateful for the way God ministered to my heart in such a tender way in the midst of 7,300 others! He is so faithful, as I know He did the same for every receptive heart! He has turned my barrenness into fertile fields and turned my closed chapter of this LPL journey into another ministry opportunity! Thank you for speaking to us so authentically, Beth! The gals of Springfield, MO are CRAZY about you and our JESUS! I’ve been asked several times if we could get our hands on the words from the ending commission- please let me know if that would be available, and I’ll get it to all our LPL Springfield gals though our Facebook followers! God’s continued favor on you in the coming days as you begin listening for what He has for the next city!

    Sheilah Schoolcraft says:

WOW! What a spiritually revigoraring weekend! I love Beth Moore’s simulcast, but after watching her live, it’s as if I can’t get enough of her teachings. I need to take my turn in making time to have a more personal relationship with God. Beth has hit on so many points/issues that I never thought of that has me wanting to know more/study more in depth. I am fairly new to my spiritual journey, even though I am a believer since I was very young. I would love to know more about our God and how to have a personal, intimate with him. I wound also like to get a list of the praise songs that we had sand this past weekend and a copy of the commission. Beth, THANK YOU for being who you are, the beautiful Christian woman and your love for life and faith. Thank you for the sacrifices you make each and every day to help women to know Christ and make him known. Please consider speaking in St. Louis some time in the future. You would be more than welcomed! God bless!!

    Jenifer Sturdivan says:

God has turned for me my neediness into complete satisfaction in him. I’m 42 and have never been married even though it’s always been what I wanted most. But I needed to find my needs met with Jesus first. One dance and I’m sold. I still pray to further the kingdom with a husband by my side, but if not I will not give into the neediness of my sin nature, but will be complete in spirit and in truth through Jesus.

    Sheryl Rooks says:

besides all the great teaching. Watching her sing with all her heart out loud helped me. I asked God to teach me how to worship and she exemplified it. I wanted to shout and now I thank God for our loud music. If you could do anything better it would be to let her sing and worship some of the songs. It thrilled my heart

    Pat Taylor says:

I was one of the ones that came by myself, I am 65, from Russellville, AR, a 4 hour drive, and cities scare me, although I was born in California. But to cap it off my GPS quit in the middle of Springfield! I was in the middle of a totally unfamiliar city, so I wanted to panic, but I stopped at a restaurant and got directions to my hotel and made it there. The next morning the concierge was kind enough to give me directions to the meeting but as usual I missed my turn and got totally turned around, but, guess what? There was a policeman sitting in a park in just the right place for me to go and ask him how to get to the arena…so I arrived there safely too! I parked in an alley between a parking garage and what I guess was a dorm and knew I could follow the lines of people to the dome, but was worried that I would ever find my car again…but two ladies came out from the parking garage and the Lord put it in my heart to ask if I could follow them in and then out again so I could find my car. Their names were Kim and Alley, and they were SOOO kind…they let me sit with them and even went and got me a bottle of water! And afterwards they led me to my car and gave me directions how to get to the hotel! I will NEVER forget those two…its really hard to go alone to an event like this, you know, because you aren’t sure where you will sit and who you will eat with, etc, so their kindness is something I will NEVER FORGET! Then On Saturday I walked into the arena and God told me to go up the main staircase and turn right, and I did, and WHOA….i RAN INTO A LADY THAT HAD GONE TO MY CHURCH IN RUSSELLVILLE, AR YEARS AGO! She has lived in Springfield for quite a while and she was at the event with her church, and they found me a seat and were sooo nice, even inviting me to eat with them afterwards. They had planned to all go back to their church and eat sandwiches together and my friend volunteered to drive me there and back to my car so I wouldn’t take another chance of getting lost! Which she did and then led me to the highway I needed to start my journey home! God is soo good! I know I sound like a panicky old lady, but I am really fairly brave except I do panic if I get turned around and always have, even when I was young. But the main testimony I should give is that I DID take my turn with JESUS last weekend, and I WILL neverr be the same! I have had a lot of yucky things happen…too many and too yucky to go into here, but your teaching on how to mourn alone was worth the journey I made! Not to mention all the rest! It was one of the mosst wonderful weekends ever!

First, Thank you for your faithfulness! Love your heart for people. My question is not about your shirt, although I have to admit, I have tried to find them on the Internet, no luck.. My question is, what is the name of the song we sang that had all the proclamations of Jesus? I again looked on google and found nothing close. Would like to possible use it at a upcoming women’s event .

Such an amazing weekend! Huge thank-you’s to Beth, Travis, and all of the team for blessing us so much!

God has turned for me death into life, mourning into dancing, emptiness into fullness, and brokenheartedness into joy and freedom. Some of these are still in process, but I can see the fruit and God’s working, and I am so grateful.

Is there a way we could get a copy of the commissioning Beth led us in at the end? It was so powerful and personally touching, but of course at a time that we couldn’t take notes.

Thanks again, so much, for everything!

This was the most spiritually-invigorating event of my life! Thank you Beth Moore and staff!! Please tell me where I can get a copy of Beth’s prayer we recited to our friend at the end (commission?). Also loved the music, some of which I’d never heard before. It was so very special to hear the crowd of 7,000+ singing!!!

Enjoyed the Springfield event with my two, single, adult daughters. God is still stirring things within all of our hearts from the weekend!! Is it possible to get a printed copy of the commission we recited to each other in the closing session? I would love to frame it for both of my girls.
    Thanks!!

I’ve pondered the statement Beth posed, and I’m still not exactly sure how to put it into concise words. Perhaps it’s that God has turned (is turning) my hesitation and worry into trusting Him. I was hit with 1 Peter 5:7 three times over the course of the event, once with the scripture taped to my chair, once when Travis read it during worship time and then when I picked up the “wrong” bible study I was perusing to buy. Between the scripture, Beth’s message, Sunday school and sermon the following day it was an answer to prayer and my behavior over the past several weeks. I’m grateful for His gentle sanctification over the past week and being challenged to put Him first, it is my heart’s desire and will be necessary for where He is taking me! I’m so grateful for the “reset” this weekend! I am grateful to Beth, the entire LPL event staff and the Springfield host team for being committed and doing such an amazing job.

    Lynda Ball says:

I was a “last minute” attendee if this event..did not even have a ticket but purchased one at the door from a woman whose daughter could not attend.

I had driven five hours alone from the St Louis area (the first time in my 62yrs of life to go somewhere alone overnight!) and knew that I had to be at the event.

I sought and found a seat on the top row under the letter P…as far away from anyone as I could sit. I needed to be alone in a crowd of 7,300 women. The message of the conference was exactly what I needed to hear from God that day and the next. It confirmed answers about my future that have since come to pass.

Understanding how mourning is vital in a time of tremendous distress and how to mourn with Jesus helped me immeasurably! My mourning at that time has indeed turned to Joy and the blessings of this LPL event have been tremendous.

I too would love a copy of the commissioning if possible. I want to reread it and use it to guide me along life’s journey!

Thank you Beth for your continued service to women of faith!

Hi Lynda, thank you for sharing. We’re so thankful you could join us in Springfield! Be looking for your copy of the commissioning to be coming via email. Blessings!

      • Lynda Ball says:

Thank you so much for the copy of the Commissioning at the Springfield, Missouri event.

By the end of the event, I was too overwhelmed and “full” of all that I had heard to be able to even process what was being said to me. Having a copy of it has helped me complete the journey that began that weekend.

I am now in a season of my life’s journey where I am not in mourning and am experiencing and celebrating a time of peace and joy!

The illustration that Beth presented at the conference of dancing with Jesus was especially interesting, because I can’t dance worth a hoot, but always wanted to be a graceful swan on the floor of a ballroom.

The day after the conference, I had just looked over all my notes and decided (in the privacy of my room) to try to “dance with Jesus”. Just then, the song “Come to Jesus” came on my radio and so I did it! I danced with Jesus in my bedroom, in the privacy of my room and by the time the verse came that said “dance with Jesus” I was swooping thru the room, in His arms, just as graceful (in my mind) as I always dreamed I could be!

Thank you Beth for helping me to see myself interacting with Jesus in this way. Without your illustration, I would never have imagined myself in His arms, moving in a wonderful, slow, graceful dance.

May He continue to bring these types of illustrations for you to share with those who come to your events!

    Shara Willming says:

I don’t know if you all remember Beth talking at the beginning of the even about a “Mamma who has brought her 3 darling daughters with her” and “she had just lost her husband of 28 years one month ago”. Well, that was me and my girls and it has been a year later. I feel compelled to let you and Beth know what has happened in one year. We are still heartbroken and in grief, recovery surrounded well by family and sister of the faith. I asked my girls about what they took from the event and each one told me about and area that surrounded the word “TURN” that Beth had for us. It was an amazing time together. I have finished my JR year of college at ST Louis Christian College and recently revamped the women’s ministry at my church. Talk about taking a TURN…girl, in boldness I have prayed that the Lord energize the ministry and give the congregation favor! How he has answered. My Oh My! I am a widow who has moved boldly into ministry and that weekend a year ago was so instrumental to our healing of a broken heart. Thank you for praying for me/us that day. As I think about it, being mentioned by Beth made a profound impact on my girls and we are twirling in the wildflowers. Praise the Lord!
