LPL Cincinnati Recap Video

Good morning, y’all!
Well, mercy. This recap video makes me wish I’d flown to Ohio this weekend! We have heard from a few of you already and are so grateful to God for His Word, and for His Spirit to move and give life. Does anyone want to share their particular word they received?

Praying you have a strong and victorious week!

Bless our Jesus, He has asked me to share this little special moment of mine with you. I have not shared this little treasure with anyone besides my son. After hearing a sweet story about Keith at Living Proof in Cincinnati I know why I have waited to share this story. Several years ago while at church one summer morning, I felt a need to check on my son right after Sunday school class, before the service began – you see, he was not brought to church from the start and I being a Christian my entire life, did not attend church as a young woman and young mother. However, returning to the church at a difficult time in life (my divorce)I dragged my two younger children to church with me – I found him out side sitting along side the building just miserable! This was a small Baptist church in the country. After speaking to him a moment , realizing how unhappy he was, we got into my car and left church. He LOVED to fish, so we ended up at a little creek off the beaten path.
Now I was miserable. Not with him but a dirty creek is not my idea of a good time! I knew though that this time with him was more important than any church service. I thought I could read my bible while he fished but the bank was steep and uncomfortable. It was at that moment when my savior makes Himself know. Shoot! I think He was bucking “the system” also! Jesus knew the raised eye brows I would receive, along with a rebuking for missing service when I shared that I had left to accommodate my unhappy son! He met me on that little creek bank and showed me how to sit on a hill side comfortably! And in that moment I knew it was how He would sit when He was speaking and teaching and recreating with His disciples AND maybe the multitudes.I wish I could show you! Because it prevented me from sliding and my back felt comfort and support in the way my legs were arranged. And to confirm His presents, my son caught the prettiest little “sun fish”. Miss Beth, I bet Jesus skips the service to join His Keith and relax on a beautiful Sunday morning. Blessings to you, I enjoyed you so much this past June in Cincinnati.
p.s. I know our Savior loves hot dogs from a grill with spicy mustard as much as I do! Oh Happy days, when Jesus washed, when Jesus washed, our tears away… .

I try to attend LPL each year if I can, and this year was absolutely wonderful. No words can describe how the Lord uses Beth and the team to speak into my life year after year (in addition to the bible studies and books!). The material, worship, and words spoke straight to my soul and I loved every moment.

Beth, I don’t know if you will ever see this, but just in case you do, THANK YOU for sharing in passing what you shared about your husband! (Likes to fish sometimes on Sundays…his Father’s Day request…the placement of his bible, etc.). You may never know how much freedom those funny passing comments that you shared changed my life. I am still a newlywed, 2.5 years married. While God in His grace has taught me so much about being a godly wife, I still have a lot to learn. I seek to love my husband well, through God’s love for me. But as you know, the enemy seeks to destroy marriage and seeks to bring up past hurts in my heart that can cause difficult feelings (and short tones) toward my husband. When you shared those things about your husband it freed up something within me that I didn’t expect! My goodness, how I have been placing WAY too high of expectations on my husband…did I expect him to be perfect? Apparently so. But not anymore. Perhaps I ought to just love the human side of him too and simply love and pray for him daily?! Thank you Beth, for being so authentic with us and allowing God to use you in mighty, mighty ways. God bless!

Praises to the Lord Our God! He was definitely in the house! Blessed to worship and be led by this group at this time! I love my Lord and Savior so much, and love to dig in the word at these events and sing mighty praises to Him. God bless all of you for your hard work and also thank you for praying His will always as you strive to bring people to Christ. He has gifted you so well.

Beth last year I had the privilege of attending 3 different LPL events. Forever life changing for certain. Every time I watch the wrap up videos from ok this years events I weep as I watch the faces of the women who have sacrificed to be in one of these events because I KNOW what they are experiencing will forever change them. The Word of God spoken is life changing. Thank you for providing these videos. It keeps 2014 fresh for me and others like me.

This was my first time attending an LPL Live event. I have been doing Beth’s Bible studies for several years in groups when available and online when they’re not. What a blessing to have that option available!
Last year I found the blog and this year I’m part of SSMT.
So what God through Beth said to me in Cincinnatti was… “Judy! Quit being so Angry with Yourself! I’m not mad at you! Lighten up! Those seeds I planted in you not that many years ago… the thing may look dead to you, you think you blew it, but it’s not over till I say it’s over. I resurrect the dead! You are in the world at this time for My Purposes and I am not finished with you yet. You may feel disoriented as it seems the world around you is spinning out of control but fall at My feet grab hold of Me! Take no substitutes! Commit to Stay in the Word now more than ever before!”

Thank you LPL team – Cincinnati was such a blessing! A special time with my two sisters, daughter and niece. Travis and praise team were great, as always! Loved “the understudy”.

As Beth told us – we must hang on to our Bibles and we have to unify!

Would love to have a copy of the examples of grace that were on the screen at, I believe, the beginning of the Saturday morning session!

    Brandi Perry says:

This was my first time attending the LPL live event as well. I have done one of Beth Moore’s studies and I am also using the portraits of devotion book. Beth Moore and her team confirmed everything that I hoped they were in Jesus. I tried to get out of going in a couple different ways but I know the Lord wanted me to go so he cleared all obstacles and I went. Being able to worship the Lord with freedom and with so many others at the same time was exhilarating and powerful. God spoke to me on a couple different things that weekend. He promised me four years ago that he was going to give me a child that hasn’t been given as of yet. My faith has wavered at times since then. When she disclosed our scriptures I was pleasantly surprised. When she read second kings 4:16 it described my complete response to God’s promise to me because I feel like I have been let down so many times about that subject it is hard for me to seriously entertain the idea. I didn’t ask God for this promise. He gave it to me. My husband can not have children of his own doing and my dr said it would be hard for me to conceive but I know that nothing is too hard for God! I went back to our hotel room that night and discussed my promise with my girlfriends. I said that God was going to do this thing in my life. And because my husband does not want to foster or adopt and he can’t willingly have children but would welcome one of his own if it so happened . This was going to have to be something that only God could do. Saturday when I return to the event Beth spoke about miracles and how God wants to do something that only he can do. It was almost Word for Word what I spoke to my friends the night before. I feel like this was a word to encourage me and remind me that God is faithful and he will do what he says he will do. Through love she allowed the Holy Spirit to help encourage Christians to come together and to stand on the word of God and to stay in the word of God. The spirit was able to give me hope and encouragement in such a dark hour as what our nation his face that weekend . May praise be to Jesus Christ and all the glory to God ! Thank you for being willing vessels that deliver salt and light .

What an amazing time in Ohio! Though it’s the first conference I’ve ever attended that I felt a large amount of heaviness and darkness within the city, it was still an awesome experience! The goodness of God was more evident, and shone brighter, among the work of the enemy. God will win every time, People! He is the ONLY all-powerful, all-knowing, all-conquering form of strength that there is! God is at work in that city, which is why He sent Beth Moore there to do some work…and why He sent 10,000 women there to be a light for a few days. Praise your name, Lord! Thank you, Beth Moore, for being faithful to His calling…Thank you, Travis and team, for serving God’s people with excellence! The level of obedience within LPL is overwhelming… I pray that it spreads among our world, through the people that have been touched by its work. I’m certain, especially after reading this blog, that your work is changing and rearranging marriages and homes. Thank you, Jesus! 🙂

I loved my time at LPL! Each session was solid in the truth of the Gospel, and challenging. Two big things I walked away with from the conference were: I have been on my knees before Jesus long enough, it’s time to get down and grab His ankles. I need to keep my eyes open and be aware of my many Gehazi’s.

Thank you Beth and team for an AMAZING conference!!! This was my third conference and my daughter’s first. On Saturday morning my daughter rested her head on my shoulder, after the opening songs, for probably an hour or so. It was exactly what this young woman, this beautiful Christ -like child of mine, needed. I can’t even put into words how special this moment was. My daughter has been through more in her young life of twenty one years, than most people have in a lifetime. “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28.
