LPL Billings = Blessed!! As my 3 year old grandson sang, “On Christ the Solid Rock I stand, all other ground is STINKIN’ sand.” Thanks, Beth and team. I love JESUS and YOU all 🙂

I wasn’t there but I hope you will be in my neck of the woods in 2015. Congratulations on a fruitful 2014. I hope you enjoy some well-deserved rest.

‘I am blessed to bless especially when I am cursed or reviled.’
I had so many things going on and I was fortunate to somehow make it at the last minute. Beth- I am a BLESSED Lutheran who needed permission to lift an arm in worship.

I thought it was to bring my friend who is a single mother. But it was also to come full circle to what the Lord was teaching me. I’m so light(if that make sense), Yes I have my problems of this life but I feel as if I could just float straight to Jesus right now. I’m that light. I AM BLESSED. Also I had to leave behind my husband of 9 years and three sweet babies for the first time, to come to the event. I now fully see the blessing in them (stay at home mom here). I grabbed each one of their little faces and kissed and blessed them. They think I’m weird but praise Jesus I’m weird in Him. Thank you for teaching the message God gave you all. I’ve never met you Beth but I love you in Christ. There is something about growing in Jesus with someone. Even if it is through a TV screen. LOL, its nice to see you are real!

Wow- I wasn’t there, but the recap video sure ‘blessed’ me! I paused it and copied the acronym- love it!
I also saw the lyrics to ‘In Christ Alone’ on the big background screen- now I REALLY wish I could have been there- that’s my life song!

    Debbie Jewell says:

I was BLESSED to be able to attend the Billings Living Proof Conference. I wasn’t planning to go and then last week I got a call telling me that someone was not going to be able to use their ticket and would I like to go and I said “YES”. Then when Friday came and I got ready to go it seemed that there was one delay after another in getting there so I knew that I was supposed to be there. I believe that God wanted me to know that I am BLESSED and the ALL of the blessings are for me not just some of them. I have struggled for many years with not feeling like I was good enough but I now KNOW the I am just a deserving as the next person. Different gifts I may have but I have the same ALL the same blessings.
THANK YOU so much for coming.
I also ask the you continue to pray for Tami Jones as she continues her fight with cancer. She has been a true inspiration to those around her and I know that you and your ministry have played a big part in her life.

    Thanks again

    Debbie

Dear Debbie, I’m SO glad that you were able to attend! Woohoo! Go God! What a weekend, huh? It was also fun to see that we parked next to each other at the Metra on Saturday! Imagine that. 🙂 You are BLESSED, in many, many ways personally, and in every way in Christ. Let’s remind each other of that from time to time, okay? p.s. I SO love your daughter, and I’m thankful for her service in children’s ministry. She is incredible. Love, Lindsay

    Dear Beth and the team
What a wonderful conference. So so blessed to have been there.
I loved the fact that now I know what “every spiritual blessing in Christ” means. how cool is that !!! The other thing that blessed me beyond words was when Beth ask all of us present to pray for the all team as they were all kneeling on the stage. That was so powerful. Never have I seen that done. And for that reason I felt in powered to give back to you all. I felt so connected to you and everyone at that moment.
Be blessed my friends, and thank you.

I was so blessed to make it to LPL for the second time this year! God brought me to Billings to show me that I Am Blessed and I need to live it! When Beth prayed for expectant mothers, I cried! I am expecting and I am not very far along yet, and I felt like she knew me and exactly what I needed prayers for! In that moment God used her to tell me everything is going to ok! 🙂 I am BLESSED! Thank you Beth, Living Proof Ministries, and Lifeway for such an amazing weekend in Denver and Billings!!!

Oh wow, this has got to be one of the coolest video recaps ever! Blessed my socks off!;) I loved it:):)! …Oh to have a heart that is consistently a blessing to Him! I so need and want that. A super blessed ending to 2014 LPL events:)

    Leanne says:

There was a moment on Saturday that still gives me chills. All of Metra was quiet as we were copying down a bullet point and then you began flipping the pages of your Bible. That sound took my breathe away as I realized like never before what LIFE is within it’s pages. It was like hearing fresh water pour over me! God has answered my prayer to fall more in love with His word this year and I am most BLESSED!

Thanks for coming to our city … please don’t hold the port-a-potty entrance against us! Grin.

    katie says:

This LPL was one of my fav weekends of my whole life. I’ll NEVER forget it. It brings me to tears thinking on the last year and all that God did and how long He worked to woo me there. Me being there was no accident, but deliberately planned by my Abba. There was, without a doubt, opposition from the enemy in getting me there too. So I went with a keen sense that God had a specific word for me. And DID HE!! The past two years I’ve been in an excruciating and very intense battle of pursuing FREEODM from some life-long, destructive, very serious bondage. At times I felt completely without hope and utter despair. Many times I was certain I’d never be free. The past 6 months Romans 6-8 has been my life-line and total obsession. Coming to Billings is an event I’ll remember as a specific spiritual marker the rest of my life!! The Holy Spirit’s presence was heavy and palpable. The Worship was powerful, exactly what my soul desired to sing to God, and such a gift. The teaching was TRUTH, stunning and full of grace and power, and EXACTLY meant for me. And the release I felt from ongoing, long-term defeat and bondage was profound. I am SO full of JOY today!!! SO FULL of FAITH!! SO grateful to BEth and Travis and the whole team!! TO GOD!! I realize there will likely be strong opposition and testing yet to come, but I strongly believe that this past weekend was the beginning of the very end of the pit. And I cannot express my gratitude enough.

Not only all of that, but I was exhorted to trust God in an area I hadn’t been. And God used Beth to speak a profound word to me about the call He’s placed on my life.

Beth, I love you so dearly. Thank you for your faithful, sacrificial, beautiful, obedient, willing, powerful, loving, and gracious service to the Lord, to so so so many others, and to me. It was an honor to get to bless YOU and team through our outstretched hands! I’m so glad I got to bless and pray for you! Again, I love you so.

    Natalie says:

    Beth,
Thank you so much for this weekend! I had been struggling with taking care of my son who was diagnosed with a rare disease. He is much healthier today than he was a year ago but this isn’t how I expected things to be. I realized that I have been too busy missing what is lost (his health and my idea of what is normal) that I am missing what I am being given (My son! He is alive and well:). I am also a pastors wife and am so grateful for women like you that teach and encourage us so that we can keep serving Christ with our chins up. Thank you for being a blessing! I am blessed!

  15. 15
    Jayne says:

There were so many things God spoke to me this weekend, the one that has continued to echo in my heart is to not miss the blessing in front of me because I am so longing for what is now gone. Thank you LPL team for pouring yourself out over us. We are blessed.

  16. 16
    Kelly says:

Amazing weekend! God came and asked the women and men in attendance if they would like the blessing of freedom from our burdens! Not that they would go away, but the freedom of knowing that God is with us. The freedom of throwing away the lies of the devil that we have believed for so long! Always remember, that if God is for us, who can be against us! God bless!!

  17. 17
    Amy says:

I was BLESSED with the reassurance of a “yes” from God!!!! We are on a journey to bless someone who has probably felt cursed and I was reassured that we are taking the right path!!!!

Wow. That blessed my day! Maybe Northern Virginia in 2015 I pray.

    Zoe Jones says:

It was AMAZING! After I purchased a ticket, I found out that I received a free ticket for volunteering in the bookstore. I had the great fortune of bringing my Mother-in-Law with me, AND getting us seats in the fourth row. What a beautiful thing to be able to share my love of Jesus with my husband’s mother. We laughed, cried, and lost our voices from singing. It sparked conversations late into the night all weekend.

    Pam Mayer says:

Okay, I have spent my morning reading through each and every word of these replies aloud after watching the recap. I was not at the event in person. I was at home showing hospitality to our 20-year old son and four of his college friends this weekend.

We had table time Sunday morning. What a huge BLESSING to share my biscuit egg bake, cinnamon rolls, cinnamon crunch bagels with honey walnut cream cheese, a huge bowl of fresh honey crisp apple and clementine chunks, red grapes and strawberry slices tossed with lemon juice and drizzled with bare honey creamed cinnamon spread.

These emerging adults are some of our country’s future military leaders in training. They understand the significance of a military table ceremony.

My pastor’s wife, Joanne Thompson, author of the book Table Life: SAVORING THE HOSPITALITY OF JESUS IN YOUR HOME, gave me a bottle of S. Pellegrino bottled at the source in Italy sparkling natural mineral water from Costco. Her INSTRUCTION was to share it in offering hospitality at table time. Attached to the bottle with a piece of twine was a lime green laminated tag with a SCRIPTURE and a DECLARATION.

I told the four young men and one young lady to go ahead and begin eating their hot breakfast while I prepared 4- ounce juice glasses with their choice of either Naked 100% pomegranate blueberry or Simply Orange 100% pure squeezed orange juice mixed with the sparkling water. This gave me time to explain what I was doing. I was preparing my own version of a table ceremony.

I read the Scripture on the card: “I urge you, in view of God’s mercies…practice hospitality.” Romans 12: 1-13

Then I shared my impromptu paraphrase of the following Declaration: I am not of this world, but I live in this world. I live soberly yet celebrate gladly. As a daughter of King Jesus I embrace practicing hospitality with other believers, for a time of persecution may come when we cannot gather so freely. I embrace practicing hospitality with neighbor and stranger in hopes that they will taste and see the joy of Christ. And I embrace practicing hospitality with my family, for it is a great gift to give a legacy of joy. As a daughter of the King I am honored to be part of the Father’s kingdom work.

I am an introvert. I have a clutter problem in my home and in my heart and mind. I thank God for BLESSING me to be a BLESSING. Beth and all the support staff that surround her are getting through to my cluttered heart and I thank God for helping me to clear space in my heart and home and enabling me to provide the GLAD WELCOME!

    Carmen says:

Beth! Thank you so much for your commitment to women and giving the blessing back four fold! I’ve done 3 of your studies and figured I’d be there balling my heart out the entire time (my sweet man has stage 4 cancer). BUT, instead I was so refreshed and renewed that now I can bless others. I can be a “happy Christian” in spite of circumstances which do not define me. EVERYTIME I have the privilege of studying with you I am reminded of the AUTHORITY I have in Christ. Thank you Thank you and BLESS your little blonde self!!!

Nothing super spiritual here… just various comments from my 8 yo daughter while watching the recap during morning snuggles…

“I like how they did that part in black and white.”

“Blessed… Oh, those are the PERFECT words for that!”

“I LOVE the way Lici sings that song. I. Love. That. Song.”

“Why did she kiss him on the head?”

“I love that beautiful field of trees. I wonder how they did that.”

    …why I felt compelled to post this, I have no idea… :-p #slowMorning

I love these recaps! Tonight had been a long night of working on the computer – my husband on his and me on mine. THEN – I went to email – saw this recap – hit the button and as Travis let it rip – so did I – my husband in the other room wondered what in the world had gotten in to me – a little too much computer work and a LOT of the Spirit! 🙂

Thanks for your recaps – even though I was not there – I was blessed by the pics and music!
Love to all the LPM team!

    Sherri Johnson says:

What a weekend!! I bought tickets for a friend from bible study and I, she couldn’t attend and I spent 10 days trying to find someone who could go with me. The thought of a two hour drive and spending the night alone in a hotel was overwhelming me but I knew I wanted to attend so badly that I would do it. Time and time again my friends said ‘thank you but ….’ I even had someone tell me “Maybe God doesn’t want you to go” I really had to pray about that one. But at the last minute on the day before the Friday session it happened. On Friday afternoon I went and picked up a complete stranger (to me) and we drove those two hours, checked into that hotel and attended the event – together! We acted as if we had been friends for 30 yrs! What a Blessing for the Blessed. I am so glad the Lord kept it going for me – I wouldn’t have wanted to miss that event for the world. I came away with so much …. and a new friend. When I attended bible study that Tuesday morning the recap video was playing and to my surprise there I am with two other friends in a photo with our “Blessed” message!! How fun is that? Thank you to Beth and her whole team for dedicating so much love, energy and compassion to others – I for one appreciate it as a new believer (of 51 yrs old) May you all rest now xoxoxo Sherri
