For My Simulcast Sisters

I cannot thank you enough for the privilege to serve you at our Living Proof Live 2014 Simulcast. I do not take it lightly. I will think of you for many months to come and will remember this day for years. My deepest hope and prayer is that Christ broke through every distraction and any works of flesh and blood and revealed Himself profoundly, personally, and permanently to you. Forward, Sister. No going back. Your life faces forward from here on out and what you’re doing on this planet means something. Get to it, gifted woman of God, with unwavering confidence in Christ. I pray that every single word He has sown into you will take root and bring forth a harvest. Above all, I pray that God moved upon you and opened your female heart to RESPOND. Not just receive. RESPOND. Do not wait a single moment to take your first responding steps. Move immediately and obediently into what He’s shown you. Blessed is she who believed.

As promised, here are three writings from the simulcast for anyone who wants a copy:

First, the Identity Declaration:

identity

(Click on the picture to enlarge and save.)

Second, the writing called “What does a woman of God look like?” It’s silly, really, and way too wordy but if it broadens our concept, it is worth putting out there. I originally set out to write it as prose on Wednesday before the simulcast as it started turning in my head that morning, but as I fooled with it that day, I just couldn’t resist the rhyme.  (Click on the link to pull up in a separate window.)

What does a Woman of God Look Like

Third, the commissioning we spoke over one another at the conclusion.

LPL Simulcast 2014 Final Commissioning:

My Beloved Sister,
Jesus drew you to this day
To call you to respond.
What will you do
With what He has said?
God chose you and gifted you
For this very generation.
You are the exact woman
Jesus came looking for today.
Stop telling yourself
This is about someone else
You are the one He wants.
You’re not too young.
You’re not too old.
You haven’t strayed too far
Or waited too long.
Let Jesus step fully into your story
And write a narrative for your life
That does the world good
And gives God glory.
People out there need what you have to offer.
Quit listening to your fears and insecurities.
Stand up and step out and meet some needs.
You are my sister.
I’ll cheer you on.
I will support you and love you
I’ll stop competing and comparing.
I want to be a woman women can trust.
Let’s do this thing side by side.
We’re so much stronger together.
Sister, stay in His Word
Fight for love and keep your faith.
Follow hard after Jesus
All the rest of your days.
He will never do you wrong.
He will never reject or betray you.
He will make something beautiful
Out of all your pain.
In every loss
He will be your gain.
A lost world is waiting out there.
The darkness is aching for light.
Get out there and serve with all your might.
Because, my beloved sister.
You
Are
A woman
Of God.
Go show somebody what she looks like.

Sister, thank you so much. Your time is so valuable. Money is scarce. You could have done many other things with the precious resources you have. You chose to join us for this simulcast. May God take every word He’s entrusted to you this day and cause it to yield a 100-fold harvest. (Luke 8:8)

Stick together out there, Sisters. We are a mighty army in the Kingdom of God. Stay close. Be kind. And be danged courageous.

I love you,

Beth

Thank You Beth and team for your live simulcast today!!! 9/13/14 JUST WHAT I NEEDED!! Every part of it ministered to my heart. I brought my 14 & 19 year old daughters….the Lord spoke to them too!!! He was definitely “in the house!”

I had many thought-provoking moments today at the simulcast at my church in Wetumpka, AL. It was truly a blessing to me, a 72-year-old woman, to participate in this event with my daughter-inlaw and granddaughter, as well as the many other sisters in Christ. I appreciate your ministry and thank you for sharing with your fellow sisters. I left the simulcast with a renewed heart and a fervor to better serve our Lord Jesus Christ. I will pray for you and your team members and look forward to the next simulcast.

    Cordially,
    Peggy Teel

I have had the honor to do several of your studies, Beth, as well as attend two live events. Today I was with one of the churches attending the simulcast and I can tell you that this one has impacted me the most. I am so beyond thrilled, humbled, and blessed that the Lord would speak through you in such a way that if felt like you were speaking just to me. I will respond in more fervent time in the word and with a posture toward repentance that it is my right to repent- not as a downcast daughter full of shame, but one who can boldly approach the throne of grace to my Father God who loves me and welcomes me back. Thank you for allowing our God to use you so mightily. I could not have asked for a better experience at a more PERFECT time in my life!

Thank you so much for the simulcast today. Even though I was home alone watching under a blanket and my jammies you didn’t make me feel alone. I enjoyed and learned so much. When you said that insecurity pokes a hole in your heart, you were right it has been. It was even making me doubt my salvation. Thank you again for everything today. I can’t wait until the next one.

I just wanted to thank you Beth from the bottom of my heart for your simulcast today. What I found most value in is the Identity Declaration…I needed that.

I am going to commit this to memory so that every time I am feeling unworthy, condemned, not good enough or defeated, that this comes to mind and I can say it outloud…..because it is all based on the truth of God’s word, my FINAL authority! Let’s all “Women Up”!

A grateful servant and follower of Christ Jesus,

Thank you, Beth. I needed that. 🙂
I have been with you since the first Bible Study, and God has used your voice to encourage, teach, bless, and GROW me up in my faith over the past 20+ years. I feel like we are best friends. I agree with you that we need our “tas philas”, and my very best friends and I have been knitted together over the years through the study of God’s word in our living rooms in El Paso, Texas as we have done each of your studies–some multiple times! (We have also done some other teachers, too, you will be happy to know.) We come from various backgrounds, denominations, churches, but we are women of God and have shared joys, pain, and growth as we have raised our children, seen some of them married, lost parents, started new businesses, gotten jobs, moved away and returned! Thank you for your ministry! We love you, Sister. Today was wonderful.

What a blessing today’s message was. I cannot express enough how I enjoyed being a part of it from Cross Point Church in Norman, Ok. I was invited by my sister and the time we got to share was special. Thank you for the encouragement and confidents to step outside the circle and share the Gospel

    Blessings,
    Donna

Beth … I wasn’t going to attend, but I’m so glad I did. God is using you in so many ways, to touch so many women…to help us open our hearts to the healing power of our Lord Jesus. Thank you for your ministry, thank you for your words of encouragement and thank you for the confirmation that “Every woman is well able to share how Jesus is changing her story”. Hugs and blessings to you.

Thank you so much to everyone at LPM for all the hard work put into the simulcast today. My church group and I appreciated it so much! I’m putting the Identity Declaration on my wall to remind me of who I am (and who’s I am!!) everyday!

**Can you please post a video of the “Women of God” song? Or better yet, make it an iTunes download? I was singing it in my car the whole way home! I really want to have it on my iPod and share it with the rest of our women’s ministry group who weren’t able to make it to the simulcast. Thanks!!

Thank you Beth for all that you do. I fully enjoyed the simulcast with fellow church members. Also, thank you for providing this material for us. May God continue blessing you.

    Paula says:

Today was absolutely amazing and life changing! I brought my 13 year old daughter with me. It was an incredible blessing to have her holding my hand when I stood to be prayed for with those women who’ve been hurt by men. My ex abused me and our children for years, so for her to witness and be engaged in that prayer of healing with me was a God Moment I’ll never forget. Thank you Beth, and your team, for providing me the opportunity to respond to God. I am Women Enough … and I haven’t felt that way for a really long time.

Blessings and hugs to you, my Sister.

    Melinda says:

Thank you all, once again, for a tremendous simulcast! Thank you for your commitment and devotional to our Lord. May He richly bless all of you and your families for it! I’m declaring in faith that I’m healed from panicking! I couldn’t believe it, Beth, when you came up with that. I started panicking! It’s an issue I’ve dealt with all my life but especially more recently. But no more!!!
Love and prayers to you all,
    Melinda

Mrs. Beth Moore, I just finished watching you speak today. I am 17 years old and everything that you said today really hit home. I feel like I am left speechless, but even though I know that this wont sum up how I feel right now, I at least want to say thank you, and I am so grateful that God used you today to speak to me, because I was not listening to him before, but today I heard him loud and clear.

    Bill Wallace says:

Beth, my wife and I watch you regularly on Life Today. We’ve done many of your studies. I attended with my wife, Lynnette, today. I take away from your teaching how I can be a godly man helping women to be godly women.

I also see the need to serve here, serve now. Lastly, God is opening many doors to mentor younger men. I’m in the age bracket of nearly 60 and above.

Thanks Worship Team. Thanks volunteers. Thanks Beth for teaching truth. The TRUTH will set us free.

  25. 75
    Anne Williams says:

Beth, when you asked us to fill in the blanks about what we thought the reason was for God bringing us to the simulcast, it took extra consideration and meditation for me. My first quick response/pat answer would be, “to respond to what I hear”. But finally an answer came within a couple of minutes that was a better fit for me. Your illustration of the broom resounded with me. Sweeping the clutter of everyday worries that litter my brain is a must for me. So this is my answer to the question, “quit RIDING the broom and SWEEP with it” !!!

    Ashley says:

Ms. Beth, thank you to you and your team for the beautiful simulcast experience today!! Thank you for allowing God to shine through all of you and teach and inspire all of us. I was so renewed and blessed today, and I’m ready to move FORWARD and to RESPOND!!
    God Bless You!

I tried to tweet this to you from my Twitter account (@hislightbearer), but it wouldn’t send it because you don’t follow me on Twitter (which is understandable). I came to the simulcast today to forgive my mother & my sister. We lost the feed at my church right when you said “someone needs to be set free from unforgiveness toward their mother ….” I know you poured out yourself today, and you might not get this comment for days or weeks, but do you remember the word the Lord spoke through you at that moment? I think it was a word for me, and I didn’t get to hear it.

Thank you so much for your integrity and fervor for Jesus. It’s contagious. I’ve completed several of your Bible studies (just finished “The Inheritance” and starting “Children of the Day” this week), and with every study, God changes me. Thank you, Beth. Truly. Thank you.

I enjoyed the day a great deal. I first met you through a study on James and fell in love with you during the study of A Women’s Heart – that class included the DVD series. I was thrilled to get to see you in person, and I hope that this is not the last time. I just love your style and sense of humor. From one pursued, loved, chosen woman of God to another – keep up the great work, you are very inspirational.

Just wanted to thank our Heavenly Father God for His awesome and gracious way of ministry to His people. After today I have Woman Up to re-connect with my family and girlfriends. And also, to begin my prayer fellowship with my sisters in my neighborhood. Time is of the essence! Thank you!

    Liana Webb says:

Hello from Chattanooga, TN! Just left the simulcast and it always amazes me how God’s timing is perfect. Three years ago I binded up a wound and I’ve allowed it to form a rash on my heart. I haven’t been able to heal it and God showed me today I need to. It’s going to be hard but I know I can’t be the woman He wants me to be until I do. I so loved the simulcast today and thank you for speaking God’s word to me.

I attended class today at Crossroads Baptist Church of The Woodslands. It was totally awesome!! God knows exactly what we need when we need it. I realized that I was at a place in my life that I’ve been selfish with God and have been on the receiving end and that I need to RESPOND. Also the hole in my heart needed closure!!! Thanks for making my Saturday a great one.

    Cathy says:

    Beth,
Our church did your simulcast today, but we had technical errors neither on your part or ours. First, the power was out in part of our town, which affected our phone line, which affected our internet service. So, we actually didn’t start the “Live” part until after dinner, but it began at the beginning which I am thrilled it did. I so enjoyed this! I needed it. But, due to the fact we started so late. And, by 5:45 the internet was delivering every 2 to 3 words you spoke, we stopped. I desperately want to know what your last two points were. Thanks in advance! AND, thanks for such an uplifting, woman day. ( I’m the only woman in a home with 4 men! My husband and 3 sons!)I needed this.

Thank you… I have NEVER had many Girlfriends for many many reasons… BUT you affirmed so well today that THAT is exactly what I need and will do. Dear Beth,
I had the privilege to attend your simulcast today and I left blessed and challenged to intentionally spend time with God. Quality time has been a challenge to find this last year.Thank you for the specific prayers for women who have been hurt by other people or in bondage by other hurts. I was surprised by my response to a specific prayer… I thought my wounds from years ago had healed. Um, not quite. I’m encouraged to be reminded that the best is yet to come.
