Last LPL Recap of 2013 – Daytona Beach

Siestas! It will be another five months until you see another post about Living Proof Live. Can you even believe it? I can’t wait to hear how this weekend went from our Siesta Mama. She’s off today resting and recuperating, and rightfully so. I heard a rumor, however, that a fun picture post might be coming your way this week. Woohoo! Until then, here is your last LPL recap of 2013, thanks to our dear friend Rich.

Living Proof Live | Daytona Beach from LifeWay Women on Vimeo.

Thank you, Lord, for all you did in the lives of each participant at Living Proof Live this year. You are Healer, Redeemer, Savior, Father, Lord Almighty, Defender, Protector and so much more. May you continue to pour out your Spirit among each of us! We love You so much and are forever indebted to You. You are faithful.

WHAT a wondrous event! Oh, Lord, thank you for this incredible blessing that is Beth!! I nearly missed the Conference as I was suddenly taken to the ER on Friday following a mysterious internal bleeding! I couldn’t believe how low a blow the devil was trying to smack me down with. 🙁 after a full day in the ER, I was discharged. Though I have yet to find out what’s causing this ailment (and I’m none too anxious as it could perhaps be something very serious), I was able to go and attend LPL the following morning!! What absolutely struck me to the CORE of Beth’s teaching was “point nine”: Oftentimes, His hand raises us up after the thing nearly killed us! Ain’t that the truth? Our Father takes me and you to a place where He gives you no choice but surrender because WE ARE HIS!!!! He will not let us go!!!! Thank you Siesta Mama and the entire LPL staff. Daytona Beach will *never* be the same! See you at SSMT Celebration!!! MariaCristina

I don’t even know where to begin – what an awesome time spent with my brothers and sisters in Christ! I was in awestruck wonder over the holy anointing that only a living, loving God can bring and man did he bring it! “27 bones”, I know I’ll never forget, the righteous hand of God – his Holiness, Anointing, Name & Deeds – that reaches out and covers me. There ain’t NOTHING like being under the hand of God. And then to top it all off, I was on the same plane as Beth and she absolutely made my day when I laid my hand upon her shoulder and said to her “27 bones”, her face lit up instantly and hugged my neck and told me how glad she was that I was there this weekend! She is so genuine and full of the holy spirit that it just emanates from her – such a great big spirit filled into one tiny little vessel doing the mighty work that God has commissioned her to do. I pray that I do all that I can to listen to God like that and do as He asks me to do. Be Blessed!

It was off the charts fabulous. To sum it up: God wrecked me. His presence was so sweet and powerful. Convicting and Consuming. His word pierced my soul and spirit. The very thing I have been asking God for…he answered me. Declare his word and stand on it. I either believe him or I don’t…his word is true or it is not. This conference has marked me for life. I keep crying with joy over the tenderness and love of God for his people. God is so so so faithful.

Looks great, sounds great, sure it was GREAT! Because as all LPL events OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST was exalted and experienced and HIS WORD REVEALED, shared, taught WITH HIS POWER and AUTHORITY! Thank you LP STAFF, all involved and esp Beth and her family. How I wanted to be there. The LORD had me at Youth for Christ event after all for His good reasons. O how GOOD HE IS! Thanks be to our God! He is so FAITHFUL and SO SOVEREIGN! He alone can protect us and keep us and sustain us and even bring us back when the enemy meant to harm and even kill us! John 10:10 and John 12! The enemy tried to get Lazarus after he was raised up but the LORD kept him. May we live the abundant life He came to die to give us! Thank you Beth, LP! THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

    Deborah Mott says:

After reading first entry reply, was reading Psalm 20 and came across these words: 5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.
6 Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. 7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. 9 Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call. LPL Staff: it is obvious the KING HEARS YOU and ANSWERS YOU and saves you all HIS ANOINTED! PRAISE HIM!

    Margie by the Sea says:

It has taken several days to ponder this past weekend and for the Lord to open my ears to what He wanted me most to take away from LPL in Daytona Beach. I now know that the Word is:
Oh God, give us the eyes to see people as they are, not through the eyes of what has happened to us. His hand CAN raise us up after the thing that nearly kills us, but first He tells us “humble yourselves… under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.” (1Peter 5:6).

The Wonder is (and He has made clear this message twice more since my return): I have been made aware that there is still a specific calling on my life, and I must continue to ask God to show me what that will be. In the words of John Baille, my prayer is,

“O Divine Love… wilt Thou now not give me grace to throw open all my soul’s doors?
Tonight let every bolt and bar be drawn that has hitherto robbed my life of light and air and love.
Give me an open ear, O God, that I may hear Thy voice calling me to high endeavor.”

Beth asked us, will we be able to answer “Did we complete the work given to us?” I want to hear more than anything, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23.) Your message and prayers helped to right my path and for this I thank you.
May God continue to anoint your teaching with the truth of His Word.

Wonder-filled event! Had planed to attend just for the purpose of getting away even if it was for an overnight mini-vacation with over 8,000 other women. No other spiritual expectations – just knew I needed to be there and it would be a time to refresh. Early in the program Beth shared that she had prayer for EACH of us to get a word and a wonder. The wonder was my knees not hurting – lots of walking and steps. Tightness was felt but NO stabbing arthritis pain!

When Beth declared that not only does God holds us in His hands He holds us in His embrace – I knew this before but now it brought a new comfort for me. I was also extremely challenged to seek what God is wanting me to do now. Beth prayed that we could see a glimpse of what God’s plan was for us. I actually thought I want more than a glimpse. Then the Holy Spirit “hit me on the side of the head” and I realized that I was wrong on two counts. I don’t need to try to be in control of what He has planned for me. Second, if I saw the big picture it would be way too overwhelming. So now my prayer is “Ok God, what is my next step.”

It means so much that Beth sought God’s direction for this study specifically for us and just not a repeat of what has been presented to other groups. While other conferences offer great programs knowing that this was special just for us is overwhelming. God is so good may He continue to bless.

Thank you Beth for taking what assigned to you and using it for God’s glory. May He continue to overwhelmingly bless you, your blood family, faith family and Living Proof family.

    YIPPEE!!!
Over the last several months I have made the comment several times that I feel like GOD’S HAND is literally pushing me into the harvest for children and have joked that I occasionally look behind me to see the evidence of that thought. I just returned from Beth Moore live and want to share with you a few points that were eye opening to me.
THE HAND OF GOD IS MENTIONED 1800 times in scripture.
When the hand of the LORD is upon us we can be assured of the following:
    H oliness will be required
    A nointing will be there
N ame =HIS NAME will be exalted
D eeds= We will be driven to do good deeds
Ponder the scripture below as we pray for GOD TO THRUST WORKERS INTO THE HARVEST!
    Ezekial 81-3
“In the sixth year, in the sixth month and the fifth day, while I was sitting at home meeting with the leaders of Judah, it happened that the hand of my Master, God, gripped me. When I looked, I was astonished. What I saw looked like a man—from the waist down like fire and from the waist up like highly burnished bronze. He reached out what looked like a hand and grabbed me by the hair.”
    Psalm 89:20-21
    “I found David, my servant,
poured holy oil on his head,
And I’ll keep my hand steadily on him..”
    1 Coronicles 4:10
“Now Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and that You would keep me from harm that it may not pain me!” And God granted him what he requested.”
Father we intercede on behalf of the 2.2 billion 4-14 year olds on our planet that desperately need to be introduced to YOU.Place your HAND upon workers, purify them, provide for them, anoint them, enlarge their territory and THRUST them into the HARVEST for YOUR GLORY!

Okay Siesta Mama, boy did I get a word – more than one. I am amazed how often the Lord uses you to meet a very specific prayer in my life. He did it again. My love language is physical touch, almost exclusively (like 98 percent). I am a 43 year old single woman. So you can imagine how deprived I feel in this area. I have been praying about this lately. Your study on the hand of God and how He “touches” us among other things was just so timely and with precision placement right to the wound in my heart. I love you so much for trusting Jesus to give you a lesson and then following His lead. Daytona was great. I will keep it as a very special memory. Thank you!

    mama beth-

I enjoyed the conference so much. I gotta tell ya, it was my favorite one of all of them I’ve been to, and I didn’t think any of them could top Birmingham DS, but this did…before I get into what the Lord showed me, I just wanted to tell you I love how God has allowed it to be possible for you to reach out and interact with those who could have been just a “sea of faces” years ago. 8800 people would not have made it easy I’m sure, but you handled it like there was 20 :)I praised God as each women read their story 🙂

I am just going to write out what I wrote, before I do, I just want you to know I could have been stubborn on saturday and not heard a word, but when you told me to ” make sure you get a word.” as I was on my way to my seat it made that stubborn me pay attention…God teaches through you in the same way He does through my mentor, and I loved I could recognize that.
Anway…this is what I wrote during break.

    – I am here because God wants me to realize that the familiar places have been covered with grace, My pride almost killed me, but He showed it to me, and is healing its pattern in my life, and wants my very bones to know He is restoring me.

He also gave me a verse you did not say, ” Isaiah 42:16″
And when I read it ” Through unfamiliar places I will guide them and make the rough places smooth.”
Familiar places covered with grace, and now He will lead me into the ways I should walk that are unfamiliar. I never saw that verse that way, so it was definitely rhema.

I love you, and I am so thankful that the Lord is who He is, and that He constantly fights after that relationship with us…I love Him so.

P.S- I have all the notes from this weekend on my blog.

    Susan says:

Beth, you asked the Siestas to leave a comment here telling how God worked in our lives through this event. Ten years ago, God spoke to my heart and told me I would write, teach, and speak. For ten years I have obeyed but doubt has been a constant companion. At times, stopping me cold in my tracks. As a child, I was sexually abused, men have hurt me deeply. I have completed many of your studies over the last 10 years and God has broken many strongholds, done much healing, helped me forgive the people in my life who hurt me so badly. However, this week-end I gave my doubts, my feelings of unworthiness to Christ. When you said the words “NEVER TO ENTER HIM AGAIN” I knew they were just for me. When the chaplain prayed for healing from the men who have severely hurt us I rose and knew his words were just for me. I didn’t realize I still had all those unsettled issues in me but his words cleansed me and healed me!! I know these words were spoken for all but I also know God was speaking straight to my heart. I left with a confidence to write, teach, and speak I have never had before. PRAISE GOD!! THANK YOU JESUS!! When you said “you have a gift you have not even discovered” it was as though God seared them on my heart. I’ve CHANGED!! I can’t yet express how I’ve changed; but I know that I know that I know that I have changed and it was because God was in the house!!! It was because God “touched me and made me whole”!! There is a steadfastness in me I have never felt before if that makes sense. A confidence, a knowing that Christ put his fingers in my ears and said ” Ephphatha!”and my ears were opened so I could hear the “divine voice” who “want(ed) to speak to me”.

Lindsee, I spoke with Beth at the Siesta gathering about my verses not being posted after about June or July. Could you help me correct this problem?

      Lindsee says:

Hi Susan, the easiest thing to do is go to the sidebar on the right hand side of the blog and click on the link “Siesta Scripture Memory 2013”. When you click on that it will pull up each of the SSMT posts this year. There, you can scroll down to June and July’s posts and start posting from there. If that is what you mean, I hope that is helpful!

      • Susan says:

        Lindsee,
I tried that once or twice and that didn’t work. I thought maybe it was because I’m using only an Ipad now. However, this post disproved that theory.

        • Lindsee says:

Hmmmm, I’m stumped, Susan. So you’re saying the comment didn’t go through? It does go through a moderation process (I have to approve the comment) so some people confuse that with it never being posted. Either way, I would give it another shot!

15 months before the LPL Daytona event, I was asked to be the City Coordinator for this event. After training in Nashville at the Lifeway Headquarters, I felt thoroughly overwhelmed. BUT I knew this was HIS WORK for HIS GLORY & He would lead and supply every need, every person to help spread the word, every idea for Facebook, emails, Mailchimps, everything needed to put on the April Rally, and guidance for the essential
prayer. GOD WAS FAITHFUL!!!! ….and He did “immeasurably more than all I could ask or imagine.” I was overwhelmed at His presence, love & power all during the event. HE brought 8800 women (& more men than we expected) to worship Him with Travis & his team and to hear God’s powerful message through Beth Moore. Fabulous, outstanding, amazing… THANK YOU to BETH who served in a mighty way keeping us laughing, crying and challenged…to Travis & his team (especially Angela, his wife) for leading us to the throne of God, to Betsy, our Event Coordinator, who covers more details that one could count, to all the Lifeway Team, and to each of you who helped to spread the word & came to the event! TO GOD BE THE GLORY for the great things He did!!!!

This was my 1st LPL and it was awesome! I was glad I got into the pic of us Siestas and Beth. I was worried I’d miss it. Thank you Beth for taking time to pose with us.

I really locked in to the last 2 points on Christ’s Hand. (9)He definitely lifted me up during my battle with cancer, which did nearly kill me. God has healed me of cancer. Praise His Holy Name. And 10, I eagerly await the day Jesus splits the sky! Hallelujah!
–My word is actually 2: “No Doubt”. This was so strong on me. I would say my hardest battle has been with doubts. –My wonder is the wonder of God’s Hand reaching out to touch us. The word “Hand” will never feel the same to me. I have been using that word as often as I can when I think or write or speak. It has the power of God in it now. –This Daytona event was a game changer for me. Also, I feel that Daytona Beach will be a changed city. Those 8800 women of Spirit shifted the energy in Daytona. This event gave Daytona the push it needed. I can’t wait to see how our town is changed from it! Thank you Beth, Travis, and the rest of the crew and your families for sacrificing so we could have such an amazing event here in Daytona Beach. Love you, Beth, and I pray every day for you and your family.

    Dana Goodwin says:

By God’s grace, we were led to purchase a condo in the Daytona beach area back in Nov. 2008. It’s a big ole “double portion” God story that I won’t go in to. But I KNEW at the time that it was so much more than a place to vacay and visit my parents as they are living in that area. God had impressed upon my heart that He was reviving Florida and that the Daytona Beach area from Port Orange to Palm Coast was my territory to PRAY for. So I believe my wonder was Beth and the LPL team COMING TO THE OCEAN CENTER and because my mom had bought my “ticket” over a year earlier for my 50th birthday, I got to witness this great “ingathering” as well as listen to what the LORD was speaking to His people (a la Rev. 2:29; 3:6…). My word was a re-confirmation to not let up praying for the hearts of the people and, in fact, PRAY MORE!!! God is doing a great work there. Praise the LORD!!! Thank you so much, Beth, and all of the Lifeway team for obediently serving Him for HIS GLORY!!! #Spirit-led church #Spirit-led state #hearanddo

The Daytona Beach Conference was awesome and God did meet us there! The most amazing experience, among many, was praying for the different groups in the audience. We could feel the Holy Spirit moving and lifting away burdens and lifting us up. Please add a conference in Florida for 2014!

    Darla says:

Beth asked “Why did God bring you here?” I knew he did, but I was having the hardest time discerning the exact answer, until my last day in Daytona – Monday. Last July as I walked the prairie of Colorado every morning, watching the sunrise I told Him I just would love to see the sun rise over the ocean again. It had been so long, I was so afraid to travel alone. He inspired me with “well, maybe I would not be afraid to go to a Beth Moore event alone, so I’ll just see where she is gonna’ be” – God is So Good, she was gonna’ be in Daytona BEACH! So I booked it! As soon as I landed, I was nervous getting into a taxi in a new city alone, but as I did there was Christian music on and as I spoke with the woman driver she invited me to her church on Sunday where the speaker would be none other than Christine Caine! The Living Proof Conference was amazing, I came for Jesus and boy did He show up. I walked the beach, and filmed sunrises. Listened to Beth, met Christine Caine, was reunited with missionary cousins I had not seen in 15 years, prayed over a women returning home with her sister’s ashes at the airport, and had the answer to that question. God brought me to Florida to show me how greatly he loves me Personally! He knows my name and He fills my need; He blew my mind and overwhelmed my spirit, and I will never be the same. Ladies, our God is an Awesome God!

I was at the Daytona event. I am a pastor’s wife and needed this time of refreshing. I was there Friday night but due to an illness during the night, I missed the Saturday morning. Is there any way I can get the final day messages? I am so sad that I missed it. I came with my small group. They came back telling me,how awesome it was. You, Beth Moore, are doing a wonderful job. You have encouraged so many women. I have completed just about all,of your studies. I was given “90 Days With Jesus” for my birthday a few years ago. I have been hooked ever since. You have challenged me to go deeper in the Word. Thank you for your excitement. It is very contagious. Lol. May God continue to encourage you. May God continue to anoint you with your wisdom and knowledge of the Word. I am going through a difficult time right now & need your prayers. Thank you for loving the Word of God so much that you never slow down in teaching it. “High 27!” See I got the first lesson Friday night. Lol

    God Bless You

I was at the event and was also able to get in on the Siesta photo. How fun!

And wow, what an event it was. My first LPL ever, and God just about picked me up by the hair with that precious Hand of His and PUT me there. I knew about the event and even attended the rally back in April but was not able to purchase a ticket because my husband and I are going through a pretty expensive adoption process right now. I was so hoping that some scholarship tickets might be given away on the blog, but nope! The Friday OF the event, a friend picked me up and said a scholarship ticket from a lady in her mom’s church in Tallahassee had been designated to me and I was coming with her. Wow! She even arranged for me to stay with her in a hotel (as we live 2 and a half hours away from Daytona in Central FL).

Now let me tell you something else, God did business with me that weekend. It was hard and it wasn’t pretty and let me tell you, the devil has been trying to undo it ever since. I mean, my pastor always says “The greatest spiritual opportunity always comes with the greatest satanic opposition.” And I know in my life, as soon as I have any kind of spiritual breakthrough, I’m immediately headed for a big hurtful pitfall….am I the only one??

I’m not going to share my Word or my Wonder with all y’all sweet sisters because it was intensely private and painful, but Miss Beth, please know that I got my WORD and my WONDER. I wanted to share because you asked us to when you came out for that photo with us, but it’s taken me a little while to let it settle, if you know what I’m saying.

I love you and pray for you often. I’m so thankful for your ministry to women. Praise God, He is good, ALL THE TIME!
