Where can we get the info for viewing the Siesta picture? There weren’t enough cards for us!

    My Dearest Beth,

I just attended your Living Proof Life conference in Springfield, IL. The last time you were in Springfield, a few years back, I had a ticket to see you but had to have surgery and we unable to attend. This time, I bought my ticket very early and my husband because ill. I was very concerned I was not going to be able to attend AGAIN. But my husband encouraged me to go with my friends, so I did.
I write a very small Christian blog: “Petals of Faith”. My girlfriends had encouraged me to write and I did feel God was laying things on my heart that I should share, so I did for several years. Then I quit.
Satan had told me that I didn’t have anything to say that anyone wanted or needed to hear. He told me my writing was bad, stupid and I was a hypocrite. So I quit.
I began praying about attending LPL and about writing again, but I told God I needed a sign, something really bold that I couldn’t mistake.
Then you began speaking about “Quitter Boy”. So many points you made really hit home for me. I was “Quitter Girl”. I immediately asked God right there, if this was my sign. Are you speaking to me through Beth, Lord? “Is this my sign?”
Friday evening, your escorts walked with you down the stage and began down my row. When you reached me, you paused ever so slightly, reached out and touched my arm and when you made eye contact with me, you very slightly shook your head “yes” and then you kept walking.
Did I ask after that if that was my sign? NOPE- I KNEW it was my sign!
You probably don’t even remember doing that, and that’s OK. I just wanted to thank you SO much for being such an instrument of Him. You are Jesus with skin!
I pray our Lord blesses your ministry and your entire staff.

    P.S. I’m not “Quitter Girl” anymore 

All I can say is oh my WORD!! The Lord used Beth to defibrillate my husband who was at the conference. His word not mine!! We will NEVER forget this weekend. Thank you Beth for being the instrument God used to revive my husband’s faith. I will forever be grateful to you!!

Holy Lord, Hallelujah and Amen to Travis and that beautiful song! What an incredible voice! How can I get a copy of that song? Is it on Itunes? A must have on my playlist! I am so grateful for everyone involved in this ministry…so many lives touched! Have a blessed week!

Christiana–do you mean “In the First Light”? (solo) It’s on Travis’s Christmas album “Ring the Bells.” I play it approximately 100,000 times per season. 🙂

If you mean the song that accompanies the Springfield recap video, it is “Forevermore (Psalm 145)” and is on Travis’ CD “Found”…you are right, it is glorious!!!

    Cindy Cannon says:

This event was amazing, the Holy Spirit was all over this arena. God was so good to show up, in a big way! I was so honored to get to service on the Action Team, and serve the women in our area. I feel so blessed that God used me to serve others. There were several take aways from this event, but one was: Do not broaden the breach
A special Thank you to Beth, Travis and the LPL Team! Thank you for serving!

    Rachel Cleveland says:

What a glorious weekend of teaching and worship! This year the Lord began laying out the path towards a teaching ministry. One of my desires this weekend was to, if it would be possible, get advice from Beth about teaching and, oh if she could pray over me… OUR. LORD. IS. SO. GRACIOUS! When Beth choose a woman in the crowd who shared a similar testimony, Beth asks all those with the same calling to stand and she shared her wisdom and prayed mightily over us! I was giggling, so tickled that my Jesus finds a way. He always finds a way.

I love Him so and am so very grateful for hearts tender to HIm so he can be tender to others.

    Overflowing with blessing,

    Rachel

Amazing wonderful weekend. Loved the timeline and the teaching. Loved the worship. Meeting with JESUS in the sanctuary was overflowing in the beauty of His holiness. Thank you Beth and your whole team for bringing us into His Presence. It was breathtaking!

Thank you LPL team! Thank you Beth! Thank you Travis and worship team!!We know you prayed and sought the Lord and you brought His Word to us with all your heart! You blessed our state capitol! You blessed all of us who were there and the blessings will flow out – poured out – living water! We love all of you – and hold all of you in our hearts and in our prayers!

    AWESOME!!!!!

    Paula says:

Lord, don’t let my hands be calloused from broadening breaches!

  13. 13
    Shannon B. says:

For me it was touch. The whole weekend was about it. God touching hearts, sisters touching sisters, touching as we reach beyond the breach, even the negative way we touch by broadening the breach. I want my hands, my life, to touch others with goodness and healing and the truth of Christ and what HIS touch has done in my life, and what it can do in theirs.

I was also filled to overflowing by three things. 1st, Travis’ incomparable worship leadership. Drenched in spirit praise is the best way to describe how I felt. 2nd, worship through study. John Mark… who knew?!? When you had us turn to the Gospel of Mark, blew my mind! I had NEVER made that connection. John Mark had always just been the REASON for someone else’s story to me, but WOW! God surprised me through you teaching his word. Literally said “NUH UH!”. Wish you could have heard it. I was the kind of student right then that I always hope to have when I am teaching. 3rd, being an encourager. First, you have the most amazing prayer warriors on the LifeWay team. Their prayer for US as we prepared to pray over chairs was unbelievable. Second, getting to pray over those seats for the women that would be there, to pray for YOU and Travis, and finally, during the event being given the HUGE honor of praying with those beautiful sisters in Christ. My heart was overflowing as it was breaking. They are still on my heart today. God proves himself over and over, doesn’t he?

    Love you!

I just LOVE watching the videos and Travis’ voice is amazing!!!! 🙂 I am sure everyone was blessed by another LPL!! I was touched by the video!!

It was a phenomenal weekend all around. I got to bring my 10-year-old daughter, Lucy, for the first time. Worshiping with my girl was SUCH a joy, plus seeing her fill out her AD 30-70 timeline with the rest of us.

I knew a few bits and pieces about John Mark, but learning about him this weekend somehow put it into “Technicolor.” Hearing how Peter most likely shared the events that made it into Mark’s gospel, particularly how he must have related his own denial of Christ (and wept!), blew my mind. That God can take Quitters and turn them into Gospel-Writers…Glory!!

I am in awe! Thanks Beth for taking us to His throne and revealing more of His truth to us. We serve an Awesome God

Great music on the recap for Springfield. I will be attending my 1st LPL in Daytona Beach next weekend on Nov 8. I am so excited and can’t wait! I hope to be in a siesta pic with Beth too. It’s hard to believe that Beth has been doing this for 15 years, and this will be my 1st one. Thanks for coming to Daytona, Beth!

    Marlinda Flynn says:

The re-cap video was awesome as always, but there was a shot of Beth with a man and wife? He was holding his Bible, she was holding his arm and Beth is holding the mic. I am pretty sure she is crying. I went back and paused that scene, and tears just flowed. We OverCome by the Blood of the Lamb and by our Testimonies, boy I wish I could have heard that one. It must have been powerful. God is Faithful and His Mercy endures forever!

      alice says:

Marlinda–There was a point near the end of the second session where we wrote in our notes the one thing that God was really speaking to us about. Beth moved through a portion of the audience and had some women share what they wrote. We then prayed for that person and anyone else who may have had something similar. She had people from the audience pray over the person. That gentleman and his wife stood (I’m forgetting exactly for which prayer request) and Beth had the gentleman pray for all standing. It was a really beautiful time of prayer together!

    Rae Angeline says:

My sisters, mother, and my mother’s friends all went together. My family had been struggling with disunity, and God ordained this event to bring us all together through Christ…which is true Closeness. Praise God to Whom All Blessings Flow! 🙂 God had Beth teach on all our fears and failures (and she has no idea who we are!) It was a PURE God thing. I LOVE His Ways…they are simply just the BEST. 🙂

    Teresa says:

This was my first time seeing Beth Moore live! I walked away from the weekend with two convictions:
    1. I have a particular sin in my life that I pray (like those at the house where Peter knocked) “Lord, heal this. Lord, show me how to overcome this.” while all the time not fully believing that He can do either of those things.
    2. I need to be more intentional about being a Breach Breaker instead of a Breach Builder. I never would have called it that before, but I know I have been that person who wants people on my side at the expense of the other person.

Thanks, Beth, for a weekend filled with Scripture and Truth!

    Belinda says:

When you first asked if any of us were “quitter girls” I absolutely did not think I fit in that group. Then as the lady opened up about how she was a quitter, I realized that I had almost totally quit being a believer in healing miracles. Healing is an area that I firmly believed in and had witnesses miracles. Then about 3 years ago my daughter had some major setbacks in health and through the many disappointments we faced I lost faith and became a ‘quitter’. thank you for the encouragement to get out of this lose of faith phase and once again be able to pray for healing miracles. I do not want to be a quitter!

    Diana says:

I was there with my two sisters and 11 other ladies from my church. Thank you Beth for being so faithful to share God’s wisdom with us! We left so full of praise for God. Thanks to Travis too….the music is still singing in my heart today! Cannot wait until we can attend another event.

    Renee says:

Wow, what a weekend! First, please tell Beth how much we realize it took to go on with the conference when she shared about her daughters. I have kept her and her daughters in prayer. Please, assure her The Lord Himself ministered beyond my wildest dreams. This was a weekend that defined my freedom in Christ!! May the Lord’s richest blessings, be on the whole LPL team and staff.

    We love you Beth!!

    Dear Lifeways People!!!
Now I know that is an unorthodox beginning isn’t it!!??
What I have to say here may never even be seen by anyone BUT… I loved the music in this brief glimpse of the Springfield weekend!
Now, I amy be a minority at these events but let me tell you something… Some of us gals have been “around the horn” afew times and we are just plain tired!! I am well into my 60’s and for me to stand 20 mins and clap to loud music pulsing with more energy than I could muster in a month of Mondays… It is too much!!
I know everything is being done these days to attract the young crowd, but, what about us older ones who have stuck with this through thick and thin???
I enjoy more refective music that I can sit and reflect and worship in with a quieter nature?? Couldn’t we have several mins of this type of worship too at these events?? Now, I have been to just afew LPM events but I see this trend everywhere and I am wondering….
    Signed,
Physically weaker but spiritually still growing!!!
    Love Ya’ll
    Betty

    Connie says:

The weekend was very convicting for me as far as bridging rather than widening breaches. I take pride in being a faithful friend and expect that of my friends–to a fault. In a disagreement I would give (and expect) loyalty based upon friendship rather than on what is right in God’s eyes. This was such a profound eye-opener about where my true loyalty SHOULD lie with the TRUTH and the author of Truth. It was an ah-hah moment that is resounding in my life.
I came with one friend from church and we paired up to make the pledge to each other at the end of the program. Would it be possible to get the words we made in that pledge so that I can remain committed to them through reading and re-reading them? I meant every word, but the emotion of the moment combined with my aging mind is not a good formula for memory :-/ God’s richest blessings to you, my sisters in Christ.

    Andrea says:

When my 20 month old daughter walks down our stairs for breakfast, she smiles an impishly sweet grin and yells, “BOOM!” every time her foot hits a step. That’s what came to mind when I watched this video. Way to go LPM for pressing on and going BOOM in this world! And please, Travis, keep singing!

    Diane Jackson says:

WOW! What a power-packed weekend. Beth’s love and joy for the LORD is so contagious. We should all be on fire for the things of God! I love his Holy Word and I praise his Holy Name! I had a great “girls weekend” with family and friends! Can’t wait to do it again! Love you all! Have an incredibly blessed day!!!
