LPL Simulcast 2013 Closing Commissioning

As promised, here is the last installment of our simulcast follow-up posts this week. The commissioning you all did at the end of the conference that many of you have been asking for. Be so blessed!

My Dear Sister,
God has summoned you
To a growth-spurt of Grace
Know your Biblical facts
And stand squarely and securely
On the Name of Jesus alone
With your head tucked under grace
Get out of your cemetery
And quit trying to call
That old you from the dead
You are somebody new
In Christ you are highly favored
And wildly empowered
Forever loved
Completely made clean
Sin no longer has dominion over you
Trade all your anxieties
For the peace of Jesus Christ
You have been justified freely
By His death and resurrection
Listen hard, Girlfriend:
You are FORGIVEN.
Live like you know it.
You are called to the obedience of faith
So credit Jesus alone
And take Him at His Word
He credits that as righteousness.
Never forget that God’s grace abounds
So if you find yourself in short supply
Get your head back under that spout
And drink like you’re dying of thirst
When times are hard
And your strength melts to weakness
God’s grace will always be sufficient
It won’t be long
Till we see His face
And He will show Himself worthy
Of every ounce of pain and faith
Now to Him who is able
To keep your feet from falling
And to present you
Before the Presence of His glory
With overwhelming joy
Be glory and majesty
Dominion and authority
Both now and forever
Amen

    WOW!! You are amazing!!
You have given us everything we asked for from the simulcast and more. We are now totally equipped to walk in Grace.
Maybe just one more for you to work on …a visual.
I tried to copy the picture of Beth with the old self hanging around her neck but couldn’t do it. LOL
My Bf and I have been cracking up about that all week!
Great visual! We remind each other to “leave the old man at home” Kidding of course.
    Thanks for all you do!

Growth spurt of Grace, indeed! Thank you so much for posting this. I truly do not remember saying these words but oh, how powerful they are now! Why is it called a Commissioning? I will print this as a self-affirmation, if that is acceptable.

THANK YOU for the closing prayer and the beautiful “Grace Is” post! I am hoping you will post the 13-question test on Grace vs. Law. That was so helpful in determining where we are standing and I’d love to share it with my small group.
    Thanks 🙂

I am wondering if the only way to get the Grace Quiz is to buy the simulcast and listen to it? It costs another $20 and I don’t want to buy it if you would post it. Thanks so much.

    Diane says:

It sounds like it was a hugely blessed time! Is there any chance that the simulcast will be put on its own dvd/teaching session in its entirety for those of us who were unable to take part? And if so, is it possibly you could ask Lifeways to enable the closed caption options for those, like me, who need & use captioning options due to hearing impairment?
    Thanks,
    Diane

Hi Diane! LifeWay is actually keeping the Simulcast available for 30 after the conference to those that were not able to attend. Since LifeWay is in charge of each of the LPL events, you can find it on their website. I hope that helps!

Adding my thank you to the all the others for the simulcast, creative writing, responsive reading, and commissioning. I’m with Viviana. I think I was so intent on repeating the words to my friend that I didn’t hear them for myself, so certainly appreciate you sharing the words. I’ve been to/seen several LPL events and simulcast and this one was the most powerful for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you and blessings to you, Travis, and the whole team.

    GraceSista says:

Praying these words right now for our Syrian Christian Sisters who are no longer sitting by but standing against the atrocities happening there. They will endure unspeakable bodily harm and know weakness as never before! May Abba Father cover them in His overabundance of Grace and strengthen them in His Holy Name! Amen!

  21. 21
    Cindi says:

How beautiful is the Word that the Lord God gives through you Beth! Our daughter is under full out spiritual attack and this is exactly what she needed today. It’s these things that are written, like the Blessing you wrote at the end of one of the Bible studies that I can’t even remember which one now because I’ve done them all. That blessing is still on my fridge and this one will go right next to it! I praise God for using you mightily ! Thank you.

  22. 22
    Ann Rogers says:

Thank you so much, Lindsee. Did I miss getting the self-written obits? They were so meaningful and true. God bless all of you! Give Beth big hugs for us! /a

    Denise says:

It was a revelation for me . I’m so hard on myself when I don’t measure up. I m hard on myself when I fall short of his grace and sin. I think god is mad at me. I push away from the word. god speak to me primary through his word. I’m thankful for his forgiveness and full measure of grace.

  24. 24
    Rebecca says:

For the past 39 years I have been a Sunday school attender, a Sunday school teacher, a Sunday school coordinator, and a Sunday school director, but today after hearing the simulcast, my world has been rocked by grace in a wild way!
    100% under grace.
    Hallelujah!

    Patti Reavis says:

    Patti, Clemmons
Bless your cotton-pickin’ heart. You are the best!

  26. 26
    Barbara says:

Beth, I have to tell you that the comment that resonated the most with me from the Simulcast was near the end when you said that we’ll know we understand grace when we can dance. For me that happened literally just a few years ago. When I heard a song by Press Play about dancing and moving my eyes filled with tears as I realized it’s okay to move my body the way God made it. I had been going to Zumba for a few months at that time and never moved my hips. Now this 54 year old doesn’t hold back at Zumba class because I understand grace and I dance for my Father!

  27. 27
    Rhonda says:

Could I get the list of questions to know if you are likely to be living under the Law or under Grace? There 12 with 1 bonus

  28. 28
    Ellen Kittredge says:

    Ellen Kitt, Stoughton, MA

I cannot begin to thank you enough for the Grace simulcast. It was a closing benediction to a summer of service, for God’s greater glory I pray, a summer of conviction and a heart committed as Daniel’s was to trust and obey that to which my gracious has called me.

That said, may I ask, can you add the prayer shared by women gathering in twos and threes around the world. I had the privilege of praying for my daughter and she for me and it would be very precious to have the prayer that we spoke over one another in writing.

Thank you for your love & grace & service. May our LORD bless and protect you. May our LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May our Lord show you His favor and give you His peace. Numbers 6:24-26

    Jo Hebert says:

That commissioning is wonderful, but I was particularly interested in the commissioning Beth led us in at the end of the Bossier City, LA conference–not the simulcast. Is there any chance I could get those words as well? I was there, and it was incredible.

It’s Sunday ladies…Wow, 7 comments! I will be the 8th…I don’t know if I’ve ever loved my Jesus so much and I have loved him so long, I can’t remember a time. Take care ladies, I don’t know how much I’ll be able to get on this precious blog this year but this I do know that all of your prayers from people I never have had the opportunity to meet face to face have literally saved my life. Live well…and if you get a chance, have a coke and say a prayer for Sally. thanks.

    Debbie Watson says:

Beth or Lindsee, Could I have permission to have this translated into Spanish to use on our mission trip to Mexico next summer? The words are beautiful and would be so appropriate to share with the ladies there. We are going to have a mini Women’s Conference with some of the ladies who are taking active roles in leadership. The area we will be going to has been hard hit by one of the largest drug cartels in MX. All glory to God for this opportunity.

  36. 36

THANK YOU SO MUCH for each written out reading/quotes from the Simulcast. People appreciate it. I know I appreciate each one! Not many write in to just say thank you sadly. But remember only 1 leper in 10 came back to thank JESUS (Luke 17) and WOW what a LIFE CHANGING MIRACLE HE did for all of them!!!! We are no longer lepers of sin and Jesus is the reason! Thanks again! May the LORD Himself show you His reward and thanks for all you do to advance His kingdom and serve us His people. IN CHRIST, Deborah Mott

So appreciate your posting the grace poem and commissioning. Is it possible to include the 13 true/false questions that you asked? In order for the answers to be meaningful, we need the printed questions. My memory is short and I need all the help I can get! Thanks a million!!
