After graduating form ORU, our son now makes his home in Tulsa. A long way from our home city. I was so blessed to know that you were holding an event in this city as it feels like part of our “home” turf to us now. I prayed for your event and the lives that were touched. Thank you for your ministry to women everywhere! May God bless you and all who serve with you! I am looking forward to the Living Proof leadership event and your visit to Illinois later in October! Praying in advance for those!

Love that song, Travis. And Beth, you wear the cutest clothes – an example of cute and modest if I’ve ever seen one. Thanks, Rich for putting this together, and for all you do to serve a community of women you’ll likely not meet on this side. I hope all of you have a blessed Monday yourselves.
    Much Love,
    Patti Hayes

Wow! Ok, thanks for listening. I know you all understand what I meant by that. Wait, I’m a woman. There’s more to say. I first did a Beth Moore Bible Study (Jesus, the One and Only) in 2001. And have done many more since then both with groups and on my own. I’ve seen three simulcasts and looked every year at the schedule to see if I’d ever be able to see her in person. This year the Lord delivered me on January 28th from a bad situation that completely changed my life and so I kind of wasn’t suprised that Beth was scheduled in Tulsa – 45 minutes from my house. And I really wasn’t shocked when a lady gave me a ticket free of charge. The music was wonderful – thank you Travis for letting us do some much acapella (spelling, ugh) and Beth, oh, Beth. God bless you, God bless you, God bless you. He truly is the best Father and I thank you for bringing the people of the Bible to life so I can know what I know – that I am a very beloved daughter of the King.

I don’t have the words to tell you what a blessing this weekend was. Each part of the conference was God touched. From the opening doors to the people who worked for the BOK Center, the Ladies in Pink, the musicians, singers and, most especially, Miss Beth.
God had a hand in every moment. I sat on the front row with my sisters (one in a wheelchair) and we were blessed over and over again. I expected the sister in the wheelchair to get up and dance! (And she’s been a quadraplegic for 22 years.)
Thank you God for bringing this blessing to T-Town.

    Beth says:

I came this week-end with two friends, and it was such a spiritual overflow into our lives. God’s Presence was thick and Beth, you taught us in such a way that just drew us into Miriam’ life. Travis & team touched our hearts for the Lord, and we take away cherished memories from this event. I was leading the pack of Siesta’s to see you, slowly with my cane, but God has done so much in my walk with Him through my disease, and I am still believing in healing. I sure did my best to dance before Him, scaring my friends a few times!!! Awesome experience, thank you for all you give of yourself to invest in the spiritual needs of others. Only the Lord knows how may women, (and men) have drawn closer to our Savior because of the words He places in you to speak to us. Blessings upon Blessings to you!!!

Thanks so much for sharing!! Nothing like a bunch of women making it happen through God!! I will go to a Living Proof Live event in the near future. I’m claiming it in Jesus Name!
Hope you all had a wonderful Monday!! Blessings to all:)

What a wonderful weekend it was in Tulsa. The conference was truly filled with the Holy Spirit. I still have the praise songs running through my head. Beth is so beautiful inside and out. She has a way of making every woman there feel that she is talking directly to them. Thank you Beth, for blessing so many lives, including mine!!!

What an awesome weekend with the Living Proof and Lifeway brothers and sisters. I so appreciate all the hard work that goes into these wonderful conferences. I was so privileged to be a part of the encouragers group. What a blessing! The Holy Spirit was truly evident. Can hardly wait for Beth and the gang to come back to our city. I’ll be ready with my tambourine! I thank my God on each remembrance of you.

    Daina Kringlen says:

Thank you for such an amazing experience this weekend!!! I felt so honored that my first Living Proof Live event was not only during the 15 year celebration but was also, according to you guys, the best group of singers you’d ever had at one! Wow! I was blown away by Travis and the praise band; probably the most awesome praise & worship experience that I’ve ever had. Thank you!!! And can I just say how disappointed I and the 3 girls with me were that we could not find tamborines at our 10:00 Walmart trip Friday night!!!

And Beth, of course, was amazing as always. Thank you, sister, for your obedience to the Lord and letting Him use you to bless SO MANY women. I’ve done 7 of your studies since my first one in about 2005, one of them three times (because after I go through one I always find myself wanting to facilitate it for a new group because I want to share it with others!!!). Like many, I feel like you are a dear friend that I know well even though you have no idea who I am, LOL, and it was all I could do not to just run up on stage and hug your neck since this is the first time I’ve been in the same room as you! And let me tell ya, I think this is my first post on the blog since discovering it around March, but I’ve been creepin’ here for a while (it’s set to my home page), and when I saw the slide that said siestas meet in section 103, I was kicking myself that I hadn’t joined in with the siestas since I’ve been reading the blog! I so wanted to come hang out with you all!

BUT I will almost undoubtedly be at the Stockton, CA, LPL next year, which is about 20 minutes from my mom’s home, and I will plan my annual trip to visit her around that event! I have seen my unchurched mother turn from a chip-on-her-shoulder from hurt about many things God & church to someone who is starting to change and grow in the Spirit with a softened heart, and I have to credit at least a portion of that change to the Lord’s work in her heart as she participated in a couple of Beth’s bible studies with me via Skype from my laptop! She was as excited as I was that Beth would be in Stockton and we’d get to attend together. As much as I cried at this event, I’m pretty sure I’m just going to be a bawl bag in Stockton next year, to be with my real mama by my side (there’s a lot of emotion in that since I don’t get to have her by my side for so many things since she’s lived in CA since I was 14 and I in OK), as we listen to my spiritual mama (that’s what I’d consider Beth) speak the truth to us both! I CAN.NOT.WAIT! So you better believe that come January I’m gonna be a scripture-memorizing siesta fool who WILL be hangin’ with ya’ll in Stockton!!!

So much excitement, Daina! Very happy you were able to be in Tulsa this weekend…and looking forward to Stockton next year with your mom. Praise the Lord for the Spirit’s work in her life! Listen, you are a Siesta just by reading the Blog, so you get yourself to that Siesta pic next LPL!

Yes! I was there amidst the mass of beautiful ladies! The worship and praise of 7700 women in one place at the lead of Travis Cottrell was an amazing experience. When we all come together in one accord to learn more about God, this kind of beauty happens. Beth Moore brought her humble attitude, transparent life, and astute wisdom to share with all of us, and it was a blessing. Ladies – if you get the chance to hear her speak ‘live’, do it! You will be blessed beyond measure!

    Amanda says:

Yes, I was there with a group of amazing women! The worship and praise was simply breathtaking. I can’t even explain the transformation that God has performed in me over the last five years. Beth has continued to show me the way to learning God’s word in more ways than I would’ve ever been able to experience on my own. Thank you Lord for loving me and allowing me to experience your love with 7700 plus people. Thank you to Beth, Travis and the worship team. You all are amzing and it is so wonderful to see your love for God and one another.

My heart was pounding out of my chest as Beth started to speak out of Exodus 14:14-15. I had shared and talked about those verses with my two girlfriends as we drove to Tulsa on Friday. It overwhelms my soul and strengthens my faith when the Lord speaks and then confirms He is speaking. Two verses come to mind…. Psalm 126:3 The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. And… Romans 4:20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. I cannot put into words what He means to me.

    Oh, how I love Him!

Hi–how do you meet with Beth with the Siestas? I was at Duluth (Atlanta) but didn’t know y’all did this. Would love to do it in Minneapolis next year!

      LPM-KMac says:

Hi Donna! If her schedule allows at the Living Proof Live events, Beth will take a few minutes to take a picture with any Siestas that happen to be at the event. As the host of the LPL, Lifeway arranges the place and then will frequently post on the overhead screens where the picture will take place. I hope you are able to participate next year in Minneapolis!

      • Susan says:

Oh, man. I didn’t see that when she was in Tulsa. I’d love to have a picture of Beth with me and my sistahs.
Even though I missed the pic, the weekend was perfect!

This was my first LPL and it was awesome and life-changing! I have a new job where I was terrified of making mistakes (trying to convince my co-workers I am worthy of the position). If something didn’t feel 100% certain, I wouldn’t do it. Without realizing it, this made me lose confidence in myself at work and at home. After hearing Beth’s words of wisdom, I now feel the Holy Spirit pushing me to go out on a limb and have faith. The conference was only four days ago and my life has already improved. Btw, I still have the tambourine app on my phone. I give it a little shake now and again. Thank you Beth!!

I just want to say thanks so much to all who made this possible! I attended with my mom and one of my sisters. Our family has had a tough, challenging past 8 months. We spent about half the time in tears… but we were together and thankful to have God with us there, too. We have our tambourine apps now and can shake them to remind us of all the great things God has done. Even as we continue on this difficult journey, we will not forget to pack our tambourines. Thanks, Beth and Travis, for letting God use you in our lives!!

We loved seeing Beth in Tulsa, all 10 of us. Although the format of Beth’s message seemed a little different, we were blessed beyond words. Thanks for coming. P.S. We ALL love Travis, too. He is just so cute!

BLOWN A W A Y by Travis and the praise team. Beth always brags on them and then to hear them in person was just wonderful. I got to volunteer at this event. That was so much fun so if you get a change to do that….do it!

This was one of the best weekends of my life. Thank you so much for being you and following God’s direction in women’s ministry. You make a difference in so many lives. Thank you and God Bless you as you continue your journey. Thank you to Travis and the worship team. I actually had my hand up in praise! And that is something for a Lutheran! LOL
