LPL Long Beach – Recap Video

Good morning, y’all! Here is the Long Beach LPL recap video for those of you that were able to attend and for those of you that enjoy watching to get a little taste of what the Lord did. I happen to be in the latter category. Grin. If you were there, we’d love to hear how the Lord spoke to you. Enjoy, friends!

We were there!! Our new church plant took a group of 20 women for our first ever RVCC Women’s Retreat. We were so blessed. Can’t wait until we have 50+ so we can get group seats!!

We are all still processing what a word we received. Things like being brave, and fighting for my family, and being a mighty woman of valor keep rolling around in my head.

I’m sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the place when you were talking about your precious daughter and her birthday. Ugh in a good good way. 🙂

Thank you for serving us, Beth.

It’s my first LPL and I was there with my sister-in-law. What a blessing it was – from the worship to the teaching. Hearing 9,000 voices singing gave me goosebumps and also a glimpse of how we will all sound when we worship God in heaven we sound good, Siestas)!

Beth, at first I didn’t think your teaching would apply to me when you introduced it on Friday night. But come Saturday morning…well, shall we say my tears could have formed a river around your stage when I went down for prayer. God showed me that I may not have needed a physical healing but I needed healing nonetheless. My heart feels much better and lighter as a result.

Thank you, sister. Thank you for the volunteers. It was a spectacular event.

Yes Lindsee I am in the latter category too! We had planned on going, but plans changed! 🙁
Looks like it was an awesome time with God! And the Beach and Sunrise!!!!! Oh sooo beautiful! I am paitiently awaiting “y’all” to come to Phoenix next March!! 🙂 Thank you for all you do!!

    Jessica says:

I was there! I’m digging for a scrap of courage to live as a woman of valor and by faith, I’m claiming healing. God’s precious still, small voice sounded a lot like Beth Moore over the weekend. Grateful to have heard a fresh Word!

Thank you so much for all the hard work that was put into this conference. I appreciate everyone who did their part. I am still processing all that I learned regarding the message that Beth shared.
Outside of the prepared message there were a few things that God had just for me. During the last session, Beth went on what had seemed like a tangent from the message she had prepared, but I felt like it was the Spirit’s message for me alone. Earlier in the day, during worship we were singing about how God loves us and then went into Jesus Love Me…haven’t sung that song in awhile. The tears started following. I have never felt more loved than I did in that moment. It was as if God was speaking words of love directly to me. I needed to hear that from Him in the worst way.
Beth went on to share about her love for Amanda and gave us all a beautiful, detailed story about Amanda’s birthday. It was obvious that Beth LOVES her girls, and it home right then….God LOVES me like that.
Thank you Beth for being willing to be so vulnerable and share from your personal life. God used it to confirm in my heart His love for me.

This blessed me so much – GOD be praised for that picture of love. I didn’t see it like that until now – so cool for sharing

    Pam in San Diego says:

My friend, Johanna, and I attended….absolutely loved it!
Beth reminded me that I am a concoction of of misfit parts, but I can still become a woman of valor despite my maladies, because of my maladies, and by handing over my maladies…thank you, Lord!! My soul was filled from the week end, such great teaching and worship. thank you to the entire team.

    MollySiestaOC says:

I can’t even tell you fully how incredible this weekend was…best weekend of my life!
I know, I DO KNOW that GOD shows up for each and every woman with overflowing love and wisdom…but I can only speak for me.
Truly, everything that came out of Beth’s mouth, the worship, everything hit on so many levels in my life it wasn’t even funny…I kept looking up to GOD and thinking, “really, wow again!”
The best was I can describe it is like a diamond. There is a point, but so many facets, yet they are all connected. Only GOD could knit that together.

Is there something I can ask, is there anyway we can have the commence speech put on the blog…it was one of those things that every word was to me – and I would love to frame it. PLEASE!!!!!

Beth – we are so fond of you and who GOD has made you. I look at you sometimes and just weep because I see GOD and I see HIS PROMISES, HIS HAND of GRACE AND GLORY. Thank you for a great weekend and you keep on keepin on!!!

Molly, I attended LPL in Reading back in September and Beth had an amazing prayer that she ended with as well. It was so beautiful. I’m not sure if it is the same one or not (I would imagine that it probably is not), but she posted a copy of the prayer right with the video they made for the Reading simulcast. I am having it framed as well! It’s been my little art project these past few weeks : ). I can’t think of a better way to remember one of the best days of my life!!

Hey ladies! For most events, we don’t post the recap commissioning unless it is given to us, and unfortunately, I don’t have it this time around. However, if I do get it, know that it will be posted on the blog. Blessings to you ladies!

    Suzanne T says:

I was so thrilled to share this LPL experience with my daughter. Our socks were blessed off! The commissioning prayer we spoke over each other called out some core struggles in my life. I’m hoping you will post that commissioning prayer here soon. It would do me good to pray/speak that over myself until I have no choice but to live it out!

Thank you for this beautiful recap of a cherished time in God’s Word. And, I especially loved the symbolism of the ending shots on the beach. Come to the waters! Be healed! Praise Him!

    Gay Beck,
    Plain City, OH

It is always an inspiration to see the recap of any of Beth’s Conferences. I have attended 2 conferences (Lexington, KY – Aug. 2010 and Columbus, OH Aug. 2011).

God is so mighty to save, that even among the thousands of people attending each of the conferences, I could hear God speaking directly to me (One-to-One). A personal relationship with God – renewed and sustained.

That presence of God is mighty, also, in viewing the recap videos, also.

Thank you to our mighty, sovereign God and to Living Proof Live.

    Elisabeth says:

SO good to see the recap! Jesus moved so much over the weekend. It was wonderful to be with Him and His people. Something that really stuck out to me was the fact that Namaan was a man of Valor even while suffering leprosy. I always fall into the thinking that until I’m practically perfect and conpletely healthy, I can’t be mighty or have valor. Wrong! 🙂
Jesus healed me of fear this weekend. Fear of what others think. Fear of failure. I have a new bravery. New confidence. I am woman. I am in Jesus. I will powerfully change this world.
    Hear me roar!!!!!

Is there a link to look at the Sietsa group photo from the weekend? I’m dying to see it.

    Valerie Geib says:

I loved every minute of it! I can’t wait to go to another event. There is just something about 9000 women getting together to praise our God! It is a little bit of a glimpse of heaven and it left me wanting more. Beth, you are just so special, and I thank God for you and His hand on your life. You are a blessing to me! Now where are thoses Siesta pictures?

Thanks for the link, Lindsee. The Long Beach picture isn’t up yet. (At least I couldn’t find it.) Do you know how long it takes? Thanks again 🙂

        • Lindsee says:

That’s a great question. It’s typically up by the time we post the recap, if not, for sure keep looking. It will go up no doubt sooner than later!

          • Karene says:

Hi Lindsee, I keep checking for the siesta pictures we took with Beth at Long Beach, and haven’t seen them on the link you provided. Am I looking in the wrong place? Or was there a problem in posting the pictures? I know this isn’t a major issue :), it just would be fun to see the pics if possible.

Thanks for any clarification you can provide!

          • Beth says:

Hey Karene! I’ll check with David, our photographer that weekend, to see if he has posted them. Know that sooner than later they will be up, so keep checking! So sorry for the delay!

          • Molly says:

            I think its lost…oh well!

    RC says:

I look at Beth’s life and all that she shares through her ministry of what God has allowed her to go through and I am amazed! Amazed because (like so many of us) I can relate to each one of her stories, the childhood pain, the pain of not knowing how to stop and having a heart for God in the midst of the whirlwind… I am amazed because HE is so faithful! When I am in a place of sarrow and pain that I am just super sure HE has brought only ME to (lol – cuz I am THAT special) Beth goes and tells another story that hits me RIGHT where I am at! Infact, she even mentoned this last Saturday at the convention “I don’t know why I am sharing this…” and as she finished I knew that the Lord had brought her to share that story JUST for me (cuz I AM that special lol).

my favorite little one liner from this weekend “when you dont know, error on the side of faith” I love this, just like love never fails, having faith in HIM will never fail either! He will Answer. HE IS HEALING! WOW, he is speaking to my heart even now about my healing!

Thank you Beth for being obedient, transparent, and faithful and for coming out to Long Beach!

ps. I was at the westin too! A ninja weekend I’ll never forget!!!

    Mary says:

God worked out every detail this past weekend so that I could share some time in His Word with a dear sister in Christ. Both of us are Marine wives who have shared in this crazy military life over the past 13 years. It had been over 5 years since we lived at the same duty station, but here we are at Camp Pendleton again. Our husbands blessed us with a weekend away while they held down the fort with our kiddos.
Neither one of us knew we were dealing with the same “leporacy” until this past weekend. Studying God’s Word in 2 Kings spoke straight to my heart. He spoke through Beth exactly what I needed to hear. I am down by the river where he has washed me clean!!! And I intend on DOING WHAT IT TAKES to be healed!!
But I have to share how God truely blew my mind once I got home from LPL on Saturday. I was sharing with my children over breakfast Sunday morning what the story was that we had studied in 2 Kings. I was telling about Naaman and how he had a disease called leporacy. My 7 year old yells out, “Oh, Mommy, that is the same story that I read about on Friday during my Bible time.” She went and grabbed her Jesus Storybook Bible and flipped it open to the story of Naaman. She then proceeded to finish telling the story of how he was healed! My daughter had read the same story right before we studied it on Friday night. Amazing!
Thank you so much, Beth, for being the wonderful teacher that God has intended for you to be. I have been blessed over and over again by your teaching in God’s Word. Jesus is an absolute BLAST!!

Awesome! Thanks for posting that. Beautiful song by Travis. Reminded me of when I watched the Reading, PA simulcast at my church and how much I was blessed and seeing all the people in CA getting the blessing – truly awesome. Thank you Beth!

    Joyce says:

Was blessed to be there!! Found the words to describe life – “squirming concoction of misfit parts ” and where to find my healing – gotta go down to the “healing waters”, to the healing work of God. I am so thankful that I am forgiven. Thank you again Beth for providing a place where God shows up in such a mighty way.

    Christiane says:

I wish Beth was my best friend (me and the thousands of other women on this blog! haha).

In spite of the *SPOT ON* passage of scripture (II Kings 5– God has reminded me of this passage numberous times in the past 3.5 years in relation to the healing I have needed), and the wonderful weekend with my Siestas, my favorite part has to be when Beth announced that she ate a bug!

I had the opportuniry to see Beth Moore last Friday and Saturday in Long Beach, What a blessed event this was. This was the first time I had ever seen her live. I have been working with my “sisters in Christ,” from my church using her Bible Studies for the past year. Beth you are awesome. God bless you and your ministry.

    April says:

This was my first LPL event and Oh what an experience. First, I want Beth to know she has a special place in my heart as my first real teacher of God’s word. While I have always had a relationship with God I never knew His word beyond a few sermons I heard here and there. Almost a year ago God led me to start attending Church and then to join a bible study group. The group was working on Beth’s study of Revelation. I loved Beth’s style of teaching right away. She has a way of bringing God’s word to life, even through a DVD. When I found out she was coming to Long Beach (only 2 hours away from me) I couldn’t wait to hear God’s message from her in person. The message of healing was so right on for me in so many ways but especially since my Grandfather passed away September 1. I am still processing the message and I’m sure it will continue to teach me for a long time. Thank you so much to everyone involved with the event, it was the most spiritually powerful thing I have ever been a part of. The experience of being in that arena will stay with me forever.

  24. 24

I was only able to attend the conference in Long Beach because a friend heard SIX TIMES from the Lord that she was to invite me when an extra ticket became available. I was so blessed…even on the drive down from northern California.

Now I am struggling; feeling so frustrated and warring against the deafening tapes in my head that have continuously shouted, “Failure!”, even from my earliest memories…I have considered that may be my ‘leprosy’.

I sat in the front row for all three sessions listening intently, and taking notes on everything…even worship songs, because I was so sure God had a specific message He needed me to hear. I cried through heart-wrenching worship songs (Always), and was blessed some more as Beth shared so much powerful, life-changing truth. Yet as I have gone over those notes again and again, I still feel as if somehow I missed His purpose, and it’s my fault.

Earlier this year God challenged my comfort and apathy to a radical act of obedience, and it has been thrilling, terrifying, but always fulfilling just following His lead. However, lately I have felt as if my Master has left me sitting on a rock beside the path we were travelling and told me to wait there with the ever-present Holy Spirit.

The weekend was amazing and I was so sure it would also be like a new “commissioning”; that I would clearly see the next right thing He had for me to do, but it feels like I am still sitting on the rock, staring into a thick fog.

NEVERTHELESS… “I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.” Micah 7:7. He will not fail me nor forsake me…despite the stupid tapes in my head.

      Ann Marie,

I did not attend the LPL weekend, but I was just scrolling through these comments when yours touched my heart. I have felt this way! It’s so frustrating and easy to get discouraged. I can see that you are a woman of strong faith, and I just wanted to encourage you to keep going and stand firm, dear sister!

“As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. My mouth will tell of your righteousness all day long, though I know not its measure.” Psalm 71:14-15

    Kathie Mullins says:

Oh my!! I was at the store today (wearing my living proof t-shirt) and a lady asked me if I went. Heck yeah I did!! It was another weekend of refreshing my spirit. Filling my tank. Making me want more. Putting the desire to ravish the word of God. Beth, mama, you have a way of making me want more. I hunger for God when I leave there. My mom is ill heath and she flew in and stayed at a hotel with my sister & I. She was feeling good for those 2 days and God took care of her. Blessings, blessing. BTW, as I was leaving the store, the lady said “she ate a bug!”.

    Sharon J. says:

Wow! It was a blessing to be @ the conference. My Bff couldn’t go but God had a plan :o) and it was a good one! He taught me so much this weekend and while I’m still processing this is what I learned… I totally expected to learn alot from Miss Beth. My socks were blown off @ the way God spoke through the worship team!! I have sang ” Victory in Jesus ” all my born days… but for the first time I got it He sought me… Jesus sought me yeah so cool… Love it! Was well convicted too that so many times I’ve expected God to deliver me a gift :o) but never put much thought into the fact I need to use it and grow the gift within me… He did give me a gift this weekend that I have been asking for for about 15 years.. but with those gifts comes responsiblities… and He has challenged me to spend an hour with Him each day.. looking up scripture, studying and in prayer.. the first hour.. I about died, thinking ( how long was this hour gonna last).. the second day /second hour flew by and I am so looking forward to each time I’m with Him now.. I am blessed by a loving God!!!
And when Miss Beth said something about putting scripture to memory.. I think she look straight @ me..well I’m on that too.
on a side note Huntington beach “Chronic Taco” just like the ones they serve in Mexico Yum!!!
Thank you for coming and being used by God to change lives!
You all are greatly loved and Prayed for!
    Blessings

    Oh Beth
I came with my two friends. We have been prayer partners for 8 years. But one was my spiritual mentor when I came to the Lord 25 yrs ago. The message was awesome, the worship was awesome and the presence of the Holy Spirit is off the charrts. I am working on re wallpapering my mind. Thank you for listening to the Lord and for being so transparent. Thank your team for listening. The healing is continuing. we spent time talking about what God had spoken to us and ended the weekend praying for each other. May God bless you richly.

    Sandra says:

I loved seeing this video this morning! We are doing the study of James right now at my church, and I just feel like we need a field trip to see Beth in person and to study among the cool group of women who hunger for God! We saw Beth in Milwaukee and then again in Chicago–could not make Moline work out in the schedule, but I will be looking for another opportunity for our group. The worship with Travis is thrilling and allows such an open experience. Thanks again for the wonderful journey you have started for so many women Beth!

    Pam Houston says:

“Claimin’ Naaman” a never-to-be-forgotten word, an experience to be faithed out! Powerful worship with 9000 sisters in Christ, and getting to be with over 100 “Siestas” backstage and a quick meeting of our Siesta Mama and pic of us all with her, racing home on her way back to celebrate her first born’s 33rd Birthday! In my estimation another “God sighting” on a weekend filled and full! Thank you to all who made it possible in the city of my natal birth, Long Beach. My prayer is that miracles will go forth that will change lives as we keep dippin in! Wonderful, anointed and spine tingling worship had my 65 year old body jumping up and down for joy in 3 inch heels no less. Now that’s God sisters! LOL! God bless you Beth and praise God for your awesome man’s powerful prayers on our account! Heaven will tell about Keith! I’m sure of that!

    Marsha says:

My small group Bible Study of 8 attended Long Beach with Beth. We are blown away by Beth’s ability to take a passage of scripture and make it a life lesson over a 2 day conference that will never leave my heart. What is my leprosy? How will I become a woman of valor in all circumstances. God convicts me in Beth Moore’s teaching and I am so grateful. How about the sound of 9000 voices
lifted in worship. I had to stop singing so I could listen. There was an old lady that swallowed a bug will always bring Beth to mind!

  31. 31
    Tracy Klehn says:

I was so excited to attend with my fifteen year old daughter this year! What a gift to be able to worship God with hands raised high next to the treasure of my little Gracie girl and to sit under the teaching of the Word of God through Beth in the midst of that sea of Saints! I loved every minute of it! Over 130 women from our church (NorthPark Community Church in Valencia, Ca) were in attendance that day and one really cool “God thing” that happened that we thought you’d like to know is that we are in the middle of studying Esther with you Beth, and, when we got home the lesson we were on was session #4 which is the lesson where you talk about Esther having to FACE THE FEAR and that we are WOMEN OF VALOR and then you brought up the same verses that you used this weekend confirming for all of us that we need to be brave! So we have our fists in the air now for sure and our scripture memory cards all over the place (cars, purses, you name it). MARCH ON WOMEN OF VALOR!!! God bless you Beth and the whole Living Proof team.

I was there. This was my 8th LPL. I am still processing the weekend and will need to debrief with the three sisters I came with.

I can so relate to: My life is a squirming concoction of misfit parts and also about being brave and being a mighty woman of valor. I just don’t come from a background like that.

This message really touched me and it will take a while for me to unpack it. I cried non-stop on Saturday.

I was so looking forward to getting a copy of the commission. I saw a previous comment about it.

I was so caught up in it that I forgot to meet the other Sistas in section 19. Bummer!

I am still laughing about the Anna Beth ballet story. She’s good! (smile).

Happy Belated birthday Amanda. I pray you had a wonderful celebration on your special day.

Thank you Beth for another wonderful weekend. I just adore you!

Thank you so much for this recap. It is always amazing to see and hear how God touches so many in so many different ways. The beach pictures at the end blessed me so much. I just love how He takes something that simple and works in our hearts so mightily!

Attended this LPL with the most precious Sisters in Christ who loved, supported and prayed over me. On Friday afternoon before the conference the oncologist for my mom (who has Alzheimer’s)called and confirmed his initial diagnois that she has Stage 4 throat cancer. Meanwhile my husband’s father is battling through radiation treatments for an inoperable, cancerous stomach tumor. To be honest I have been struggling with my quiet time lately and was hoping for fresh outpouring from God. What God clearly spoke to me at the conference was that He is bigger than the cancer and my circumstances, and that this battle is His and I am only to walk beside Him. I don’t know feel that He necessarily meant healing for them, but I was given a huge sense of peace a healing for my soul.

Thank you Beth for always being real and the LPL team for an amazing weekend,

    A Mighty Woman of Valor!

Greetings dear LPM team!!! I recently attended the Long Beach live event with our dear Beth along with 107 ladies from our church. THANK YOU for allowing God to speak powerfully to all of us and blessing us with your message Beth! It is always such a refreshing, empowering yet challenging time!! Also-thanks for the amazing time of worship with Travis and the team.
Is is possible to get a copy of the encouraging commission we spoke to each other at the end of the event? The ladies all were asking so I am hoping to get a copy to share. Blessings, Marge Menashe

    Hi!

First off, thank you for such a wonderful conference in Long Beach! I came hungry and left full. What a refreshing time of fellowship, nourishment in the Word and worship! Thank you!

I was wondering if it would be possible to have a copy of the prayer that we prayed over one another at the end? It was so powerful and I want to repeat those truths over myself for awhile in hopes of countering the lies that I so often believe. Is that something you would be willing to share?

    Thanks,
    Julie

It was so healing and I’d love to frame it, to revisit the healing found in those words again, and again!

    Beth,

Thank you for letting God use your vessel to bless us! Our group consisted of my sister, sister in law, two teenage neices, and myself. We received our expecting our healing – no matter the package it comes in! I was hoping to get a copy of the declaration you asked us to speak to one another at the end of the conference. I was too emotional to grasp every word and would love to reflect on it more. I just remembered how powerful it was. God continue to bless you! Much love and admiration!

I went to the conference with my mom, aunt, and cousin and had no idea what to expect. I kept asking my mom what the conference was going to be about. I figured I would relax about the topic and God would show up once we were there. I had no idea of the magnitude of his presence that I would experience at Long Beach. Once Beth started revealing her message I instantly started to fight my tears because the message was exactly what I had wanted from the Lord. I had intensely struggled with anxiety and fear for the past two years resulting from struggles in my marriage which led to bad choices on my part, and a new job which I loved but was initially difficult. I thought that I was destined to follow in my family’s footsteps and struggle with emotional issues and part of me excepted that because of genetics and because of my sin. I heard God (through Beth) tell me that he wanted to heal me. I wanted to “come to the waters”. An amazing thing happen and I was healed there on 10/13/12 from my panic and anxiety. I left a changed person. I have such a renewed love for the Lord and a desire to abide in him forever. I am not free from the stress of everyday life but I no longer suffer from the anxiety. It is nothing short of a miracle to me. I know God wants to use me for his will, for his purpose, and I’m so excited to see what he has in store. 🙂
