Calling All You Simulcasting Siestas!

Hi, Everybody!

Saturday is almost upon us! In a little while I’ll zip up my suitcase and head out for my flight to Reading, Pennsylvania. After having this on my radar for so long, I am now in the process of steadying myself in Christ and trusting what He’s given to us for this weekend and thanking Him in advance for His faithfulness. The segment we’re studying is strongly impacting me and I pray God will use it to strongly impact you. I don’t like a lot of hype because I think it sets up expectations in the human realm that mostly can’t be met. But I believe strongly in the power of the Holy Spirit released on a sincere and seeking people through the Word of God and the saving Name of Christ. My hope is steadfastly in Him this weekend. As the psalmist said in the 62nd chapter, my expectation is in Him alone.

The entire team has prayed hard and planned hard and studied hard toward this weekend but that’s not a drop in the bucket toward what we’re really asking. We don’t want a blessing in keeping with our preparation. We don’t want what we deserve or what we have earned. God help us, no. We want a full-fledged visitation of Jesus. FAVOR. The kind that reveals and heals and steals back everything the enemy has stolen.

I am leaving this post for you in hopes that you’ll let the Mama around here know where all the participating blog chicks will be tomorrow. If you’re in a group, tell me where and what general size (small group in a den, larger group at a church), and if you’re participating solo, let me know that as well. Be sure and include your city so that we can place you on our mental map. You’ll see my own staff on there. They’ve already got a screen set up in our board room so picture all your Living Proof servants gathered among you as well! They totally amaze me.

As for you who are participating solo, approach the day and the study with full interaction! I will not forget that you are there for a single moment. (Nor any of the rest of you!) I know first hand that this medium can be tremendously effective. I had to fly back from Atlanta to Houston in January of this year before the Passion conference had ended and I watched the remainder of it from my home via my laptop screen. I sang with them and I turned in my Bible where they did and I totally engaged and at times I was so intimately involved that the tears streamed down my cheeks. I say this to testify that a personal livestream experience can be POWERFUL. God is not limited in any conceivable way here. Fully engage! If I ask you to repeat something, do it out loud and with enthusiasm! Look up every Scripture. Take down your notes. Enter in to every praise and prayer experience. During the commissioning at the end, I will be your partner. Stand to your feet and do the thing. R.E.C.E.I.V.E.

Oh, Sisters, I am so honored to serve you. You are a high priority around here. Pray for me as I pray for you. EXPECT God to speak to you and alter you in a vital, life-giving fashion. That’s what I want, too. Exercise some FAITH toward tomorrow, Sweet Things. And pray for the enemy to be bound from every direction and to be forbidden even an inch of ground. And, one more thing: pray against distraction. Lord have mercy, we’re so distracted these days that we can hardly focus on God long enough to get the full blessing out of an encounter. Set our chins like flint toward Your face, Jesus. We will not let go until You bless us.

You are so dear to me, Siestas. You can well know that you’re on my mind. I love you so. Lindsee will be watching over you all day and moderating. I’m so thankful for her.

Jesus, do this thing. Do it UP. We surrender.

Was privileged to sit with 102 of my fellow sisters in Christ in the Oswego Alliance Church in Oswego, NY. It was one powerful message and one that was well received. God took over that sanctuary today and I pray that He never releases it! If I can figure out a way to send you some pictures I will.

I was able to join in last minute, going solo, after last minute arrangements left me kid free after family commitments in the morning! I signed in mid-day, and using MS Silverlight was able to back it up, and watch from the very beginning. Just finished a few minutes ago! So grateful for the WORD that was spoken, the prayer prayed over me, and looking forward to what God is going to do!

    Dear Beth,

You have become very precious to me as we’ve studied God’s Word “together” down through the years, but never more so than today! From Psalm 68:11 in the beginning to Psalm 68:11 in the end, this was a God appointment for me. I am still praising Him for ministering in such a personal way through you today. I can’t even begin to number the times I said to myself, with tears running down my face, “How did she know that about me?”. Thank you!! From Cedarbrook Church in Menomonie, Wisconsin.

And I just want to say again “I claim it in Jesus name.” Thank you God for Beth, and for putting me in the right place at the right time.

    Julie says:

    Beth,
What an emotional day, I cried from the moment I entered the church until the last praise song was sung. I came today with a full expectation to see God show up and as you say” I needed a word from Him more than my next breath” My daughter has been sick for 9 years, with an undiagnosed mystery that has left us 10’s of thousands of dollars in debt to 17 different doctors including a 5 day stay at Mayo clinic….we have had her annoited and prayed over on several occassions, we have fasted and prayed, we have asked every prayer chain we know of to pray for healing for her, we have begged, pleaded, screamed and cried out to God to heal her. Both my daughter and myself have had visions, dreams and a Word from the Lord of her healing. In Dec 2011, I was at the doctor’s office for myself and in the lobby was a book, as I opened the book, there was “I the Lord am your healer” Ex 15:26 and once again I felt the voice of God confirming He was going to heal my daughter. But as of today, He has chosen not to….we are at the end of hope, my husband and I are blaming each other and it is ripping our family apart. The pain of watching our daughter live in her sickness….without a cause or cure knowing God can heal, but is He willing, has left us exhausted and broken. We have perservered and held on for 9 years. Today, I was living in your words….we can’t control God….there is no formula…but I am willing to grasp onto the ankles of the Son of God and wrestle this thing in all out prayer, flat on the ground until He does what He has said….”I the Lord am your healer” Beth, I was on my face,on the church floor with the carpet fibers in my nasal passage, as you put it, because I needed to be in complete submission to my God and to fully give Him His due respect and to be prepared to receive in full the annoiting of the Holy Spirit that was placed in your heart to pray over me. I stood in the place of my daughter , as well, and asked God to annoint her thru your intercessary prayer, since she was unable to attend. I don’t know why the healing hasn’t come down, but I believe that something is up and I am BELIEVING GOD! Thank you for listening to the voice of God and His Holy spirit, thank you for laboring over me in prayer, and thank you for being His vessel of truth to so many of us. I would be so grateful, as well, for a copy of the prayer you prayed. If I could ask a favor, to anyone reading this blog….please please please pray for the healing of my daughter…may God not delay!

Thank you for being obedient to God and serving and ministering His word to so many women. I’ve been going through a couple Girl A years, “seriously?!” 🙂 and He spoke and affirmed several things to me through your messages and through women/friends at the Simulcast I attended. Downloaded the Forsake and Take. Wondering if it is possible to get a copy of the prayer you prayed for us and the words you had us speak to our friends as we closed. While I can remember parts of it, would love to have a copy to go to and reaffirm/remind myself in the coming days, weeks, and months. Praying you are restored and rested up after pouring out God’s Word to us.

    Dear Beth,

The Simulcast did a great work in me. I am 20 years old, and I just saw you in Charleston, SC 3 weeks ago, and I couldn’t believe I had another opportunity so soon after to hear the Word through you again. I am in Lille, France now until December with the US Army. I was able to tune in all by myself in my room and watch you. It has been spiritually dry here for me so far with little interaction with other Christians. This Simulcast gave me the inspiration I need to persevere in my Quiet Times and to continue to seek Christ for myself. Thank you so much for being such a great influence on my life. I wrote you a letter last spring, and I was ecstatic when you wrote me back. I consider you a dear friend to me. God bless.

The prayer at the end of the simulcast that Beth spoke over her “sister” desiring to lead women was awesome. I would love to have that in printed version so that I could pray that over my ladies leadership team. If you have that, could you email it to me?

    Dear Beth,
God has some big plans for us in Grand Island, Nebraska at Third City Christian Church and He used your words yesterday to challenge us and inspire us! We have hosted the simulcast for 3 years and now and had our best attendance ever – 250ish!! We are still reeling from this God Thing…. covering our tables were hundreds of JARS!!! Today’s sermon – NO FEAR! I am pretty sure there were several women who are hearing the message loud and clear, I stand among them! Thank you for your ministry and, if you don’t mind, we are going to claim Psalm 68:11 as our own here at TCCC! Michelle

I did the simulcast solo with you Beth at home. It was awesome. I have a special needs daughter which makes it hard to get away. I felt like I was right there as the other live events I have been to. I could not even take a restroom break. My husband was so wonderful to take care of my daughter through most of this time. We are football fans in Alabama and my husband DVRed it. Football did not hold a chance with me some Jesus. Afterwards I could hardly sit still for football. This again was just like God was speaking directly to me. I am in awe. When it was over I felt so much inside like a total cleaning (can not find the right word). Really unbound. Released. Excited. I got my God on and my fight ready. I am going to conquer all my fears. I want quit. Thank you Beth and team and Travis and team. I know you all make God smile. You sure prayed Him with great power back where I needed him the most. God showed up BIG! Bless you all for being so faithful.

    Beth-
I was so blessed to attend the simulcast in Waynesville, N.C. I have already down loaded the Fear Not document and will pray from it daily. I was so moved by the prayer you prayed over me. For those few moments I felt it was just you, me and the Lord. I have never had anyone pray over me like that. What a powerful experience. Do you think that you might be able to post the prayer in a downloadable document on this site? I long to hear those words again and pray them each morning. Thank you for an incredible day!

Saturday’s simulcast was amazing. I thank God for you and your gift of “rightly dividing the Word of Truth”. Down thru the years your books have ministered to me over and over again…thank you for your obedience to Christ. You are a blessing.

    Gina Leach says:

    Beth,
We joined you from our church in DeMotte, IN. There were about 100 women there, 20 of whom recommitted their lives to Christ and 1 who gave her life to Christ. There were about 20 churches represented in our group. By the end of the day there was not a dry eye in the church (including the tech team I think.) It was an amazingly powerful day! Thank you so very much for listening for God’s voice on our behalf.

    Jill Shelby says:

Dear Beth, we had a small group of approx 17 present for you live simulcast Saturday. I prayed…not necessarily for a large number but for whomever needed to be there would come and that God’s grace would be upon each person that they would receive that special message and blessing. Well, it did happen, all those present were blessed and I was so glad to bring it to our small community in Western Indiana. I too,was blessed and felt a special anointing with your closing prayer as the Holy Spirit brought a blessing and message to my heart as I was kneeling beside my chair. Thank you Beth for your ministry and how you allow God to use you, just as you are. We will be starting Mercy Triumphs on Wednesday as a small group study in our church. We are blessed by your sharing Scripture with us and sharing your stories to lighten our hearts and bring the message of God’s Word into our hearts. Keeping you and your staff in our prayers. May God continue to bless you richly. Jill Shelby, 802 5th Street, Covington, IN 47932 (Covington United Methodist Church).

    Cinda King says:

Beth, I signed up to do the simulcast solo and managed my household so I would be home alone to spend the day totally focused. As it turned out, I ended up on the road to spend some time with my dad who was recently diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Thanks to the wonders of the iphone, I was able to pull the simulcast up on my phone (and yes, for part of the trip I actually had it propped on my dash so I could WATCH and listen). What a wonderful time I had singing, laughing, and learning … knowing I was connected with 150,000 other women as I cruised down the road in my little CR-V. It was a great day.

I shared the story about Keith and Pony B with my dad. He said, “well kiddo, we can’t get off this terrible cancer ride we are on, so how ’bout we just ride it on to glory.”

    Blessings all over your day!!!

Rejoicing that The Lord spoke (speaks) and many, many women spread the GOOD NEWS, of which I am one. My jars are gathered and lidless and my Gehazis are out of my way. Continue to speak Lord that we all may spread the Good News with Holy Spirit boldness, full of courage and moved with great compassion and Your love-all for Your Great Name and for Your Glory!!!! Dear Siestas, Last week I was hoping to go for special meetings at my church, but was unable to attend. This past Saturday a.m. I awakened at 4:30 remembering the simulcast was this very day. I prayed and asked the Lord to find a way for me to go. I was away from homme for the weekend with my husband so I really did not know who would be hosting the simulcast. His plans to do something special that Saturday had been canceled, so when he woke up he asked me what I wanted to do . I had gotten on the tablet and found the closest host for the simulcast and he said he would be happy to take me and pick me up (one car !)It was 30 miles away. The day was beyond beautiful ! It was at a little country church by the water, a room full of all ages of ladies, great smells from the kitchen, and I sat with a table full of Siestas that I love already-we all love Jesus and we were so full of joy at His doings!!!!!!!! Now to get back to the first part of MY STORY, the message preached at the “special meetings ” at my church that I was disappointed not to get to go to-well GUESS WHAT? It was II KINGS 4, Elisha and the woman and the jars of oil-HALLELUJAH AND PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME FOREVER AND EVER AMEN!!!!Thanking God we have His Word and those who keep seeking Him and keep bringing it to share with us to build us up and encourage us-we love you all at LPM!
May you be blessed beyond measure !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hope Ryals says:

I had every intention of attending the simulcast. I knew absolutely that I was supposed to hear the message. But on Thursday, Sept 13, my youngest brother was in a near fatal motorcycle accident. I drove my mom the final 400 miles to Pittsburgh where my brother Dominic lay in a Trauma ICU hospital bed. I only left his side to sleep, eat, deal with logistics of the hospitalization and encourage my parents, siblings and extended family for 12 days until I returned home to my husband and little girl. My brother survived and while he has a long road of recovery from tramatic brain injury ahead of him, God has been so faithful to answer the prayers of the faithful from across the US. He awoke from the coma on Day 10 breathing on his own, making purposeful movements, and responding to touch and sound appropriately. He continues to improve everyday. I am so grateful. BUT I missed the simulcast and after reading the post broadcast info, I am certain I need to hear this message. I am in a season of great trial in my marriage and standing firm and trusting God as I love my husband unconditionally is the clearly revealed will of God. Is it available to purchase and download? Thanks for your help 🙂

As the oldest of six, also three boys and three girls, I have long felt that my mother was a saint. If you don’t mind, I’m nominating you to be cannonized at the same time as my mother! (Oh, yeah, my Catholic friend says you have to be dead to be a saint; see, it is true that no one notices what you do until you aren’t around to do it!)
