Been Too Long! Wanna Say Hi on Livestream Today at Noon CST?

Update: Thank you so much to all of those who were able to join us. In case you missed you, you can jump on and watch it now like you would a recorded video. Just click this link. For some reason, it cut about the first 30 seconds off, but after that you’re good to go. We love y’all!

Hey, you sweet things! You better know that I have not forgotten you for a single solitary day but, wooooo-eeeeee, girlfriends, your blog mama has had her hands full! I miss you so much, though! Would any of you like to jump on livestream right at 12:00 noon central standard time today (Wednesday) for 20 or so minutes? It would just be to say hi and to catch up a bit so if you’ve got something important going, don’t sweat it. There’s no big announcement or prepared subject matter. Just a happy hello and I surely do love you and I pray that you’re seeing Jesus revealed in all sorts of ways. That kind of thing and from the heart because you are indeed so dear to me. SO, I’ll see anybody there who has the time and, even if it’s just ten of us, I’ll be thrilled to touch base.

Just click on this link to hop on and join us!

I love you guys!

P.S. Just a friendly reminder that you do not need a password. While we’re preparing to launch, we have it up to work on a few logistics, but we will remove the password about five minutes before we go live at noon.

It totally irks me when people comment negatively on a blogger’s site because the post is off the blogger’s normal topic or some such – so please understand I’m not complaining. I just wanted to mention that I get your updates through email and mine arrived at 9:22 last night — after your live stream. I know there’s nothing you can probably do because you decide last minute for these things but if you’re turnout wasn’t what you expected, this might be why. Beth, keep doing what you’re doing! Keep pressing on. You encourage women around the world on a daily basis because you let The Father speak through you.

Lisa, you are correct, we have no control over when you receive your email since it comes through a feed burner. However, be encouraged to know you are still welcome to go watch it. It is titled “Marvelously Helped”. Blessings!

I didn’t get my email notice about the blog post until 9pm last night (wednesday). Usually the emails come promptly! ?? I know there will be more just wanted to inform you all in case there was a technical problem with the email notifications.

    God Bless!

THEY ARE HERE!!!! Dear Siestas, I wrote a couple of months ago about something that I have been praying about for over 12 years. My dear nephew and his buddy who are both 20 moved across the country to come live with me.

I am praying that they will come to know the Lord, get good friends, an adult guy to mentor them, and jobs during the day that will make them very tired at night. God provided a part time job for both of them yesterday. Soon I know He will provide full time work.

They both come from tough homes. My brother passed away suddenly 2 years ago at age 46. That is a long and messy story all by itself. I has been a rough time for all three of his kids. I am praying for the other 2 kids too.

God is working. He is doing what only He can do. I have a ring side seat to watch our glorious God and Father work. I will admit to being tired and now using ear plugs to be able to sleep. One of the cats now refuses to leave a closet, but we will all make it. I can see God softening the hearts of those boys.

I am single and have never been married or had children of my own. I understand now why that is. I could not serve and love on these boys if I had other responsibilities. To see God redeem these 2 lives would so be worth all the lonely nights wishing I had a husband and children.

Greetings! I was pleasantly surprised to find Beth’s livestream last night and hear from you. It was a great blessings after a hectic day with back-to-school orientation and then baking bars for a good-bye at work today, but I know that I was “marvelously helped” yesterday.

Thank you for all you do!!!

You know how God’s timing is PERFECT every time? Well this was yet another example!! Didn’t get the email about the livestream until it was well over but I’m on vacation with the fam and couldn’t have joined anyway. BUT I NEEDED THE MESSAGE!!! Vacation is a joy and a gift and a chance to live 24/7 with the folks we most love and sometimes have the hardest time REALLY walking our convictions out with. Terrible grammar but you get this. My pride reared its ugly head today. God is faithful and got all in my face so I was able to quickly eat humble pie and ask forgiveness. I just watched the “Marvelously Helped” and felt the discouragement and self-condemnation get trumped by His love and Holy Spirit power. I so desperately need Jesus. Every Single Second.
Love you LPM ladies for faithfully ministering the Word!

“Marvelously helped” — God’s timing all the way. So, I’m listening to this around 10:30 PM CST on 8/23. I wouldn’t be able to hear it live anyway. He wanted me to hear this to the extent that when Beth mentioned 2 Chronicles and I reached to open the Bible, it opened to 2 Chronicles. It’s not as if I planned to find it so readily!
I’ve been plagued with a bad case of the “ugly pride” these past few weeks and I so appreciate Beth’s gentle way of pointing it out.
Thank you for being God’s messenger — I really needed to hear this message so I can get back on the road of being marvelously helped — this whole “strong” act is just that — an act. It’s so much more peaceful and joyful to be marvelously helped.

Just got through watching Marvelously Helped and it was such a blessing! God always gives us a word just when we need it and that was the very word I needed! Beth, your ministry has been and continues to be a daily part of my new walk with the Lord. For many, many years I lived in defeat, in complete bondage to sin and shame. The enemy had me so beat down that I could not see why God would ever want anything to do with me again. It was through reading Believing God that I had my first light bulb moment when I realized the lies that I had been believing about our awesome Heavenly Father. I can still cringe just thinking about it and I know you know what I mean!

God is so good! I learned that by witnessing your joy and your zeal for Him. I thought to myself “I want what she has!” I was just at LPL in Knoxville with you and while I was there I purchased the Delight In Him CD series and I loved the story you told about coming in and finding Melissa at the dining room table, how she said “I don’t want to be you. I want what you have and I want you to tell me how to get it!” I said out loud in my car “Me too!!” I loved it and I love you and I love the Lord and you sweet Siesta Mama are a big part of why that last fact is true! Thank you for being willing to be used by God in such a way that He is changing lives of women through your ministry all across this great land.

The one thing that I would like to ask is have you ever done anything on how to get started really studying the Bible? I find myself struggling to know where to go unless I am in a formal Bible study. I was at Lifeway yesterday and purchased my first two volumes of the NIV Application Commentary: Esther because we are starting that study next month at church (can’t wait!) and Colossions/Philemon because you mentioned “willful worship(?)” in Delight In Him, which prompted me to study Colossians. I thought of you the whole time I was checking out because I know it would make you smile. You make me want to study the Word! You make it come alive through your teaching in such a way that makes me want to see it for myself!

I could go on and on. I so wish I could sit across a table from you with a good cup of coffee and just talk and talk. You are an inspiration to me and I dearly love you. Prayers for you and your family, your worship team at LPL and your staff at Living Proof (especially you Lindsee!). You are all doing such a mighty work for God-and I am Living Proof!!!

Thank you for this. The timing was perfect for me to watch it yesterday. Would you please pray that I would be “marvelously helped” in some moderately invasive medical tests this afternoon and in whatever they show? Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!

I am praying that Gaye too is able to rest in the Marvelous Help of our Lord. Since she shared on this blog, I do think of her, and pray she is well.

I am grateful for the Word! and that He uses such a sweet sweet speaker to my heart! 🙂

Hey Beth, I just finished watching your recorded livestream and I so appreciate what you had to say. I was praying for you all this past weekend while you all were in Charleston. What you said was so timely for me today. Things can so easily distract us from going ever deeper with Him and pride creeps in. It is a scary thing to me, and I definitely agree with you that I want to finish this life having been very faithful to my God. Prayer and being in His Word and memorizing and meditating on it is so vital. I want that consistency to continue as well. Big ((HUGS)) to you today. God uses you so much to spur me on to grow in my walk…so much I wish I could say rightly and adequately…I pray that we would always fight the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith. This siesta loves you, Siesta Mama Beth.
