Behind the Scenes at Moline LPL – A Recap

Happy Monday, ladies! I hope you all had the best weekend.

Beth was in Moline, Illinois for Living Proof Live , which come to find out, is also the world headquarters for all things John Deere. Truth be told, this was new information to me as of Friday morning. Our Siesta Mama was on a tweeting roll and the pictures she was so graciously sharing with us were the perfect start to what seemed to be a wonderful weekend!

In case you are not a part of the twittersphere, allow us to humor you. And in case you’re having a rough Monday morning, please allow these to brighten your day.

Here is Beth heading out pulling out of Houston to head that way.

When she first arrived. This is a huge tractor in front of the John Deere Pavillion which you can see in the background.

Beth and Travis were very happy to be there.

And here are your fearless leaders preparing for Friday evening.

A little behind the scenes..the team getting situated to bid an appropriate farewell to Moline. You can see Rich getting them all perfectly placed in this one. Just like a family portrait. It’s serious business, folks.

And last but certainly not least, the team saying farewell to Moline.

Of course, don’t miss the amazing recap Rich created for us! Honestly, they get better and better each time. Thank you SO much, Rich!

I was so blessed to be in Moline this weekend, from Indianapolis. Two of my co workers and I made the trip together. Beth gave an outstanding message, but I do have to say that my very favorite thing was getting to meet her behind stage. Since there were not very many Siesta’s it was very personal!!!! Something that I had been praying for! I got to stand beside her in the picture and even hug her neck! You have no idea what her teachings have meant to me these past few years. Saturday morning in the hotel my friend said to me, ” Cute orange sandals.” I said, ” They are so old I do not even know if they are in style.” While I was standing beside Beth for the picture she said, ” Cute orange sandals.” LOL! A weekend to be remembered for a long time! I am also going to Knoxville for LPL.

I can’t wait until my husband gets home to show him these pictures. He is a John Deere man through and through (after the LORD of course). I never knew there was a difference in tractors until I married him even though I grew up in farming country. 🙂
    Blessings!

Seista Beth….Thank you for allowing the Lord to use you to show us what He wanted each of us to see at our appointment with Him this past weekend in Moline! Friday night you were walking and standing right in front of us, and even talked to one of us four, face to face….and I would have jumped up and hugged you…but I saw your security man and quickly decided the consequences of that hug might not be worth it…lol! As I looked at you so up close and personal, I just wanted to say to you “Hi Beth” like old friends say to each other. You see, I have spent HOURS listening to you and watching you on DVDs doing bible studies together for many years…we have studied Gods word together for hours…I have laughed with you and at you and cried with you and for you, I have prayed for you and your family, and looked at lots of pictures of your grandchildren on the blog! You are one of my closest girlfriends……I know you (to some degree) BUT you do not know me! So I just sat there and was just joyful in those minutes the Lord gave me to share “such a time as this” with you. Saturday we were even closer to the stage and I could see in you, when you were all done, how tired you were physically……You give all He has in you, for us, and I love that about your relationship with the Lord. Thank you for your example. He had a fresh new Word for me through you in Moline! Thank you Beth, for being obedient to the Lord and sharing what He tells and shows you, with us. I love you sister! 🙂 See you next year…and we might be bringing “a few brave husbands” with us, in pink t-shirts! Ha!

Thank you to the entire Living Proof Life team for such a meaningful and encouraging weekend in Moline! This was the first time that I have been able to attend a LPL event, and I was so blessed to share the experience with my mom. Our family is in the midst of a crisis, and I was so grateful for the opportunity to strengthen my relationship with my mom, and so encouraged to be reminded that God has not forgotten about us. Thank you all for your faithful service in ministry! May God continue to bless you all! 🙂

    Hi Beth!
You are so dear to me. I pray for you daily. It was such a blessing to be able to attend this weekend. I have been so lonely and have been praying for friends. This weekend I went with four ladies from my church. We became so close this weekend. We stayed up to 3:30 AM Saturday morning talking and praying together. it was an answer to prayer.
The teaching spoke to me because I have been thinking of the former things I have done in ministry and I feel like what I do now is so small.
It was so nice to meet you after the conference. Thank you for taking the time to meet us even though I know you were very busy. I wanted to tell you thank you for your teaching. Thank you for being humble and real. God has used your ministry to draw me closer to Him and His word. He has given me a love for His word. I can’t get enough of studying His word. The Lord has opened the door to allow me to take a class in Greek. I am so excited!
God Bless you Beth!! Thank you for being faithful to His calling.

I was so blessed by Beth’s message in Moline and the awesome fellowship of 5000 women worshipping the Lord together. The message was just what I needed to hear. The music and songs were about God pouring down on us and the graphis showed rain….and, on Saturday, as we drove home to drought stricken Iowa, it rained! Praise the Lord, we drove home 3 hours in the rain and when we got home, we found out it had been raining all day. The dry ground just soaked up that water. I kept thinking all the way home as it was coming down that it was an answer to prayer and then realized, the message had also been rain on a drought stricken soul. I so needed to hear something from God,…I was in the midst of a drought of the spirit and God rained down on my this weekend and my spirit just soaked it in. So, thank you so much for your faithfullness in serving our Awesome Lord.

Yes! The rain was wonderful! I, too, drove 3 hours back to Iowa in the rain and found out our poor, poor, land had been receiving an all day shower. It was a perfect answer to the weekend!

Beth, Thank you so much! It was such a blessing to attend with my daughter and friend. I pray for you daily, I know that this ministry is a lot of hard work. I continue to pray for your strength. Thank you again for continuing to give of yourself! I have such a passion for God’s Word!

I was also wondering, if I could get a copy of the words that my daughter spoke over me at the end, they were Beautiful, Beautiful!
    Thank you

Yes, is there any way that we can get those words that you had us repeat to each other. I would love to say them to myself in the mirror each morning. Thanks so much for the weekend in Moline.

Travis opened with the words, “Rain down upon us, rain down upon us Lord.” As a farmer’s wife not only did my spirit need refreshment due to a spiritual “drought”, but our land did as well. Saturday night we received almost an inch of rain after returning home! Praise you, Jesus! I came with such a dry spirit, in desperate need of a new exodus – even the title instantly spoke to me – GOING BACK TO FORWARD. I have been tripped up by some circumstances in my life and my “forward” seemed long gone. The Lord has truly ENERGIZED me so I can go back (2 Chronicles 36:23 NET). Thank you Miss Beth for hearing and heeding this particular message from the Lord. Loved Illinois but please come back to Iowa soon!!!

    Good morning,
I was not at Moline but have been to several other Living Proof conferences in Fl. I’m just taking an opportunity to tell each of you how you have touched my life through the years. I retired in 2001, made a cross country move back to Florida and started a new and different lifestyle. Your works have been my constant friend over these years and taught me so much. Beth, your love for our Lord was infectious and I’m so grateful that I’ve learned not only to know of Him but to know Him. Thanks so much and I do mean that sincerely.

Thank You each and every one for your spirit filled reaching out to all of us. I have with my friend done many of your studies, and they have been life changing as well as a closer walk with my Lord, though His Word. The Bible has come alive for me and your continued studies help me dig deeper into The Word. Please pray for me as I move forward in this new season of my life. God Bless You all.
    Blessing,

Oh my goodness! What an INCREDIBLE weekend! I have been to several LPL events and loved each and every one of them. This one will rank right at the top for me due to Saturday being my birthday. 🙂 After the Siesta picture I told Beth I could not think of a better way to celebrate my birthday or a better birthday present. Travis and the praise team lead the worship in an amazing way and God certainly showed up in Moline to give me a Word! Thank you to the other 4,999 women (and a few good men) who shared and celebrated with me and thank you Beth for being a faithful servant!

I am soooo bummed that I must have missed some sort of announcement about a siesta gathering! If I could have met you, Beth, I would have looked you straight in the eye and told you just how much God has used your ministry in my life and thanked you for modeling the sweetest mother/daughter relationship ever. It was an honor to serve in the bookstore with one of my daughters and your amazing Lifeway team, and it was really special to watch my other daughter and future daughter-in-law sit up on that stage and absorb your teaching. I can only dream about how much fun it would have been to invite you to my home right across the river in Iowa and introduce you to my John Deere fanatic husband! Thank you, Beth, for sharing your life with all of us and for using the incredible gifts God has given you. We are all incredibly blessed because of it!

    Becky says:

As a displaced Hawkeye, I pored over these pictures looking for people back home who may have come to see you. Wish I could have been there but it was so good to see the pictures and know from everyone’s faces how the Holy Spirit was poured out on that place and time. God bless you so much, dear Beth and your faithful team!

Oh my goodness! This recap was wonderful! I was at Austin and I see the same God at work in Moline that was at work in Austin. Thank you Beth, Travis, LPL, Rich, and everyone who attends these conferences. I can’t imagine the number of lives changed during these weekends. Looking at Rich’s recaps I see in the faces the intense feelings and impact you all have on us, and us on each other, what a high! I so long for more! Until my next LPL, I will happily share my time with Beth from the other side of the screen, currently studying “A Woman’s Heart – God’s Dwelling Place.”

Lindsee, any chance of getting the prayer from Austin posted for us?

    Beth, Lindsee, Amanda, Melissa, anyone:
A while back, Beth published a list of materials that anyone wanting to study seriously should consider having in their library. I have misplaced that list and was wondering if there was anyway that I could get it again. Beth actually put it on the blog I believe. I printed it off and alas, put it in a safe place and it is so safe that I cannot find it. I will thank you in advance for any help you can give me with this. 🙂

    Amy says:

OK, my husband just saw this picture of Beth on the tractor and has now proclaimed that if she (one of my heroes) is a tractor drivin’ woman, then I need to get some lessons pronto. Please, Beth! Please tell him you were just posing for the picture!!! He knew I was not a tractor drivin’ woman when he picked me!

This video makes me so look forward to this weekend here in Knoxville. I am definitely praying that the Lord would be glorified and that all would come so desperate to meet with Him! That he would be welcomed into hearts and minds and souls to transform and give hope and real life in Him! I love you all at Living Proof too, and am looking forward to you all coming this weekend.
